"Are you serious? An eating contest?"Zarun stared at Burgen with an expression crossed between confusion and amusement, still trying to figure out if he was for real or not. Even as his cousin stared dimly at him, he couldn't believe this. He attended this every year, at least? Which implied there could be more than one a year. He had no idea how his family were happy to carry on with inane things like eating contests and yet so many of them looked at him weird for training all the time and not eating. How many times did he have to listen to his mother complain about how he looked so skinny compared to the others? Maybe it had to do with the fact that he didn't go attending sausage eating contests. "Yeah, I am. The CCSEC happens pretty regularly, so I attend when I can. It isn't just the eating, that's the main part. It's more like a kind of fair. It's fun, you could do with some fun." Zaru blinked in what seemed like disbelief, before starting to raise his voice again. "Fun? I don't have time for fun! I'm a martial artist, I have to train! I'm trying to enter tournaments and win the prize money, I don't have time to sit around eating sausages! You'll never get me to do something like this, never!"A few minutes later, Zarun sat down with a grimace on his face at the table. There were plates of sausages being placed down all over the place, but he wasn't bothering to look at his competition. Well, except for Cousin Burgen, who was grinning at him like an idiot from the opposite end. What did he find so funny about this? Besides, he didn't even see the point in this competition. What did someone prove by just eating a lot of food? That he could eat more food than other people? There actually were a lot of people gathered...his eyes started to scan around the area, and finally he noticed that there actually was a prize. Zeni, for winning this thing. Alright, then. He'd settle this. He was going to win at this ridiculous sausage game, no problem. He had to always prove that he was the best, and he was going to be the best at this, too. He'd do it first time. No problem. "Hey, you're starting to look pretty intense over there, Zaru. Just chill out a bit, alright? Promise you won't try to punch anyone over an eating contest." Zaru stared at Burgen again, who seemed genuinely concerned at the idea. As much as he would like to do that if someone really thought they were going be better than him...he didn't really want to ruin things for Burgen if he enjoyed being here. He let out an exasperated sigh. "Fine, fine. I promise, I won't hit anybody because of this stupid sausage eating. Like I'd worry about something like that, anyway." Burgen just seemed to laugh it off, but the nervous look on his face said that he'd definitely seen how ready Zaru was to lay into someone if they beat him. He hadn't really thought it was obvious - or that people knew he did that, family or no. It was just the slightest bit embarrassing. Especially over sausages.

Cade cocked his head as the representative of the Central City Martial Arts Championship nodded his bald head and reached into the pocket of his dress pants, "Yeah, you have to go and represent the CCMAC at the Central City Sausages eating contest, don't worry champ, you'll do great! I'm sure you have an appetite, all you fighters do, am I right or am I right?" Cade found himself nodded almost without thinking about it; he did honestly have a pretty big appetite for someone his size. He supposed it was his body constantly trying to regenerate the energy he burned up during fights. He started rubbing his cheek as he tried to come up with some reason not to do it and slowly drawled out, "Well... I mean a sausage eating contest though?"
The rep nodded vigorously, "Central City is famous for its sausages! It would do a lot for our image if the champion was the CCMAC champion! Just wear your championship belt and go compete. Besides, there's a cash prize for the winner, you know. Being the champion of the Sausage eating contest and the CCMAC, well they might as well give you the keys to the city, son."
Cade caved in and raised his hands in surrender, "All right, all right. I'll do it. I mean I am purty hungry anyhow. Where and when is it?"
* * * * It turned out the contest was only an hour later and two blocks away, so Cade walked to his first "celebrity" appearance. He was tightening his red belt that had CCMAC CHAMP stitched in golden thread around his waist as he walked and tried to ignore the butterflies starting to dart about in his stomach. He wasn't used to being the center of attention for stuff like this... but it seemed the championship had come with its own responsibilities beyond getting to test his mettle. They finally arrived at the edges of the crowd and started making their way towards the table on an elevated platform. There was quite a few folks at the table already, but there were a few open spots yet to fill. His guide had him wait at the end of the platform and told him to wait until he was announced. His cheeks burned a bit with embarrassment, he didn't want all this fuss, but he complied.
After only a few minutes, a voice on the loudspeaker called out, "Ladies and Gentlemen, the Champion of the Central City Martial Arts Championship, Mr. Cade Kendrick, is here to participate in our contest this year, give him a warm Central City welcome!" Cade flushed and gingerly trotted up the steps as the crowd cheered. He waved briefly at them and gave a shy smile before turning his attention back to the table. He walked along it until he found a likely place next to a bald headed feller. He didn't introduce himself right away because... well because he had just been introduced by the fella on the loudspeaker and it seemed weird to do it again. Plus he was talking to someone on the other side of him. Cade watched as they started bringing the large platters of sausages out and his stomach started to rumble in anticipation. He grinned... at least he was going to get to eat. He turned to the bald fella by him and nodded, "Good luck fella. I aim to win this thing though, I am pretty hungry."

Once Celerai got home from his long flight, he was just so hungry, but at the same time, he wanted to take a jog around this new place for a while. He stepped out of the hotel that he was in, by taking the elevator, and started to jog in the direction where he felt was right. But all he kept on passing were restaurants that made him even hungrier than before. Isn't there like a hotdog vendor here? I could really use a hotdog right now.
He didn't have any money with him at the moment, and he didn't eat any breakfast before leaving. He kind of regretted that he did not buy a hotdog before leaving the Southern Islands, and now, he really felt the need to eat now. He jog for about 15 minutes more and then he spotted someone familiar. It was Cade. Apparently he was entering a building but Celerai didn't know why and what it was for. "HEY CADE! WAIT UP, BUDDY!"Celerai wasn't sure if he heard that but it seemed as if he didn't. Celerai pick up his speed a little and once he got to the building, there was a poster there and it read "Hmm.. why not? I'm starving myself right now, and plus.. I get to see Cade again."
Once he went inside, he could here then announcing that the Champion of Central City's Martial Arts Championship was participating. And that champion was Cade Kendrick. Celerai was pleased from hearing this, now he knows that his friend is a Martial Arts Champion. Spotting Cade at the table where the raised platform is, he approached him and said "Hey Cade. Remember me, it's me, Celerai, from the ice carving competition. I'm so glad to see you buddy, and congratulations on being a Martial Arts Champion.""How do you say we catch up with each other after this competition? But right now, I'm starving so, I'll just be down there near to the end of the table. Nice belt you got there."He patted his friend in the back twice and went to the space that was available at the table. Celerai looked as they brought out the platters filled with suasages and he got hungrier and hungrier looking at it. Once they were placed on the table, he tried to get the attention of Cade by calling his name, and if he did, he would wave at him and say "I think I'm gonna win, how about you?"WC: 463 | 463 Total Mission WC: 1598 | 6000 Tags: Zaru , darthlunchbox

Central City Martial Arts Champion?Zaru's eyes immediately darted over when Cade Kendrick was announced as arriving. So, there were other martial artists here. He could see Burgen get anxious again, possibly because he was worried about a fight breaking out. What, did he think he was a total brainless barbarain? He wasn't gonna go around picking fights at sausage fests without any good reason. Even if he really, really did want to. How did he stack up against a guy who won a tournament in a city this big? Especially when it tended to attract people from other cities and towns when an event was happening here; the place was named Central City for a reason. Still, he'd keep quiet for now. He didn't want to ruin Burgen's chances of coming back to something he really enjoyed doing, not least because it kept him off his back for a while when one of his grandparents or even the old lady was trying to bug him about doing something or getting something. He wondered if she got that picture of the ice sculpture? She'd never let him know. Zaru was a bit surprised when the champion, who didn't seem like he was used to the attention, sat down next to him. This Cade guy looked like he was around the same age as him, so maybe they were pretty close in skill, after all. It was interesting idea to think about. Still, thinking too much about the competition would get him worked up, so he tried his best not to worry about it. He maintained his flat, almost robotic-looking expression when Cade actually turned and spoke, not betraying any of his own feelings at all yet. "Zaru, good to meet you. I haven't really done this sausage-eating thing before. I don't lose at things though, and I'm not planning on starting now."Someone else caught Zaru's eye when he finished that sentence, but he was pretty different looking to Cade. More than that, he felt like a ki user that was just as powerful. What was it with this sausage event? Why was it attracting all these powerful fighters, the kind that just sitting around would tempt him to try and provoke them? This was becoming unbearable. Maybe just eating the sausages would help, after all. It seemed like the two men knew each other, so maybe they'd both been in that tournament. Now he wished he'd entered; at the least, he'd have some idea of what he was going to eventually go up against. Seemed like they were at that ice carving competition, too. How come he hadn't seen them there? He had felt a lot of ki users, so it was possible he'd just missed them somehow, but this was kind of nuts. As everyone sat down, the first plate of sausages were finally placed down in front of him. His eyes widened for a moment, even as his expression stayed the same. "I'm meant to eat all of these?" He could hear Burgen chuckle from the other end of the table, which just pissed him off. "Well, only as many as you can manage, cuz." Zaru felt his eyebrow twitch as he stared at Burgen as though he was trying to look through him, and his cousin seemed to get that he may have upset him. "H-Hey, I'm just saying, you're kind of a smaller guy-"Without waiting for him to finish, Zaru grabbed a handful of the sausages and shoved them into his mouth, tearing them to shreds with his teeth before swallowing the contents. Burgen looked on in a mix of disgust and shock as Zaru just kept going, the competition now underway as his cousin finally joined in. He had this. Nothing to it. He'd win for sure.

Cade heard someone call his name, and it took him a few moments to look around and spot the green clad saiyan approaching. He waved at his former teammate Celery as he came in and found a seat at the table. It was funny in a way. He had only ever left the South one time, and the one person he had met out there had bumped into him here at home. He replied, "Hey there, Celery, good to see ya again. Yeah I won a tourney here yesterday and they made me do this. If we have time after this we might be able to catch up some, if I don't make myself too sick to talk." he chuckled a bit at the thought but also half feared it might be true.
The bald man introduced himself as Zorro it sounded like, so Cade just rolled with it. "Well, Zorro, I don't like to lose too much my own self. I've never eaten this many sausages like this... but hell we'll see what happens. May the best eater win." He stopped talking as people with huge platters of sausages started thunking down their loads in front of the contestants. Cade's eyes widened a little; this was a feasts worth of sausages back home. He could only shake his head at the gluttony expected of each of them.
Still, he had said he would try to win for the CCMAC fella. The aroma of the still sizzling sausages reached his nose and provoked the hollow grumble to sound in his belly again. His cheek flushed slightlt and he silently hoped no one had heard it. As soon as the starting horn sounded, he picked up a handful of sausages and started stuffing them in his mouth, chewing as quickly as he could. He might not win... but he wanted to at least make a good showing. He managed to swallow the first mouthful of the wonderfully cooked sausages; they tasted like they had been cooked in onions and peppers which gave them quite a nice flavor. He stuffed the rest of the ones in his hand into his mouth and started chewing as he gathered more from the platter... this was going to be a long 10 minutes.

Cade was delighted to meet his friend once again stated that he indeed, he won a tournament, yesterday, to be specific. He agreef on them having a little talk after the whole sausage eating contest, unless he stuff himself to the point where he couldn't talk. Celerai chuckled when he heard this, and said "Hey, don't eat too much. I might wanna have a small spar with you. If you feel sick, then how will you be able to tell me about your greatest fights from the tournament.."
Leaving that statement hanging, he walked to his table. Once he took a seat, he looked at Cade talking to a man, which seemed to have just met. He was rather bald headed and was talking about not losing. This seemed like a heated competition by then, and Celerai was ready for it. Overhearing the conversation, Celerai leant that his name was Zaru, but Cade being Cade, he missed pronounced his name and said Zorro instead. Celerai chuckled softly. He keeps on mispronouncing everyone's name.. it's so funny.Finally.. the sausages were handed out in a sausages on the platters. Finally.. breakfast.. and lunch. He looked at the platter with his mouth opened slightly, but then closed it quickly, hoping that no one was looking at him. As soon as he looked down, and then looked back up, everyone was stuffing the sausages in there mouth, chewing surprisingly fast. "Huh? Oh man, this isn't fair.."Immediately, he grabbed about four of the sausages and stuffed them in his mouth, chewing as fast as he could, making sure that he didn't choke to death while doing so, of course. As he did so he started to think. If I win the prize money, I could probably get some more food, and also invite Cade. Well, if he isn't all stuffed of course. He grabbed a two to three sausages every fifteen seconds, stuffing them in his mouth, looking at Cade, which seemed to be doing pretty good, and hoped that he might win. Even if he didn't, he still got breakfast and lunch at the same time so.. yay for him. WC: 358 | 821 Total Mission WC: 2974 | 6000 Tags: Zaru , darthlunchbox Sausage roll- Ac5FLLPi1d1001d100

"Za-ru. It's Zaru."Zaru spoke to Cade as he carried out the exact and correct pronounciation, not that he could be made out as doing anything other than mumbling, with half a dozen still not devoured sausages being torn up in his maw. All these guys around here made it look easy the way they were tearing into these things, and he was still working over his fistful of them. Actually, now that he looked, quite a few of them hadn't grabbed anywhere near as much as him. Although they were eating fast, they were taking the food in maybe two at a time, three at a stretch. Well, except for that one guy who seemed to know the champion sitting next to him. He was absolutely scarfing down everything. That guy's stomach must have been endless; Cade seemed to be eating more like a normal person, but he was doing it far faster than the others. Somehow, he got the impression that other martial artists had a far different diet than he did. He wasn't stick-thin, but Zaru had to acknowledge that his build was slim, and the fact that he'd gone without sustenance to force focus as part of his training hadn't helped. This was his weak spot, if he had one. He felt like he was kind of a bronze medal in this situation right now. The other two martial artists here (that he knew of, anyway) were wolfing down their plates without issue. As he finished his first, and the seconds started to come out, he could already feel the desire to puke welling up in his body. By Kami, this was awful. He felt like he was about to upchuck all of his guts. How did people do this? They did it at every one of these stupid fairs? This was impossible! He started to sweat just from the effort of keeping the food down, and the pressure of realising there was another full plate now slammed down in front of him. Even Burgen was beating him now. This was humiliating. He tried to dig deep; though not into his stomach and its contents if he could help it, and find something that could force him to keep going. Willpower, or fighting spirit, or whatever you called it in an eating contest. An iron gut? Yeah, an iron gut. That's what he'd have. He'd use the training he had always relied on, on his own abilities and his refusal to back down from challenges, even one as weird as this one. He was the best! He had this in the bag. He could do it. He could win. He was going to win, definitely! Zaru finally got to his second plate of sausages, and started eating them far faster this time, though he was at least smart enough to learn his lesson. He stuck to grabbing small amounts of the sausages at once before they were gnashed to bits, and he tried to focus on just getting through the food and not the pain in his stomach, which was now starting to spread throughout his whole body. Man, this sucked. This was the worst, but he was the strongest. He was the best. He was Zaru, and he would handle this with no sweat. Sweat dripped off his brow. Just don't puke. Just don't puke.

Cade kept chewing the sausages before him and before he knew it, he had emptied his platter. One of the attendants, a blond woman in pig tails dressed in a low cut white shirt with a green vest grabbed his platter and replaced it with another full one and gave him a wink. Cade was momentarily distracted, but was pulled back to the contest by his neighbors correction of his name that he half heard. He shook his head to clear the woman from his mind as he picked up two more sausages and looked to the bald man, "Yeah, that's what I thought I said, Zaroo. You look sick, bud, you ok?"
He took a big bite of the fresh hot sausages as he waited for an answer. Zaroo seemed to be green around the gills, so Cade decided to leave him alone for the moment. He didn't want to watch him if he ended up blowing chunks everywhere. Seemed like it might be a little counter productive at an eating contest if you asked him. As Zaroo finished eating his first platter and had it replaced, he hesitantly asked if he was supposed to eat all of them. Cade grinned and gave him a friendly smack on his back with his sausage free hand as he swallowed and answered, "Yeah, buddy. You can do it Zaroo. Just keep chewing and don't think about it too much. Look at Celery over there, he's eating like an animal. Wouldn't get my finger too close to his face right now, you know?"
He looked over at the green clad saiyan lad was keeping pace with him and was also on his second platter. As he finished swallowing a mouthful he answered Celery, "Whelp, I have an appointment to keep in the islands, but I will come back and spar you afterwards. Write it down, it will happen."
He started pounding down sausages again, enjoying the juicy bites. As he reached the end of the second platter and started to feel full. He sighed... he didn't thnk he was going to be able to match up to the appetite of a saiyin after all. Despite his initial optimism. He raised his hand to his mouth and a thunderous belched echoed from behind it, he then muttered, "'Scuse me. Belly's getting full."
The air escaping his stomach had freed a little bit of room and he manged to finish the last two sausages in his hand. He groaned a little and rubbed his belly as he considered the next platter they sat down in front of him. He didn't really feel that hungry anymore and the sausages were not smelling nearly as enticing as they had before. He picked up a single sausage and looked at it doubtfuly, trying to decide if he wanted to risk getting sick to eat more. He took a small bite and chewed it thoughtfully. Definitely about time to stop... he didn;t want to throw up on his fellow competitors even if Zaroo did.

Celerai wouldn't and couldn't let one of these people win this prize. He is a Saiyan, and yes.. he was hungry. He was on a roll though. He managed to finish the first platter, and his stomach was almost half filled. When he saw the next platter, filled with sausages, being placed on the table he jokingly said to himself Hmm, is this lunch now?He grabbed two of the sausages and stuffed them in his mouth, chewing as fast as he could. While doing so, he was looking at Cade, who agreed to spar with the Saiyan, but after he deals with some stuff over in the Southern Islands. Celerai shook his head hearing this, as his mouth was rather filled with half chewed sausages. After a few moments, he then observed the bald headed martial artist, that seemed to be filled already. He looked as if ge wanted to pulk, in Celerai's opinion. He grabbed a few more sausages and stuffed them in his mouth once again, chewing at a fast pace, but eventually slowed down a little bit, seeing that it wasn't really needed to chew that fast, and also, he didn't want to choke. Once he was almost finished with his second platter, he heard his friend, Cade, let out a big burp, and to be honest, Celerai wanted to let out one also. After finally finishing his second platter, yet again another platter was placed on the table. Celerai thought that it would end at that second platter, but he was rather mistaken. A huge burp left his mouth, and it was pretty.. disturbing. "Excuse me, hehe."He didn't know what to call this platter now.. dinner? Not really.. as he felt that two more of these platters would be enough, and if he had gotten more.. he wouldn't throw up, but rather have a stomach filled with sausages. Wasting no time, he grabbed four sausages this time, instead of two, and bit them this time, instead of throwing them in his mouth, bit chewed at a face pace. Zaru only got slightly more frustrated as he saw that Burgen had done far better than he was. His big lunkhead of a cousin was more experienced in this, so he'd take what small comfort he could in that. Still, this tournament champ had done way better than him, too. He didn't seem like the kind of guy who'd attend an event like this usually and- ah, who was he kidding? Zaru was busy trying to nurse his wounds, but all he looked was a laughing stock while some country bumpkin from Nowhere, Southlands sat there as a martial arts champion, looking like he deserved it far more on the basis of constitution alone. They'd find out how that would go, one day. He felt his teeth gritting to himself as he tried his best to contain his anger, all of his energy going to just keeping down what he had already eaten, to avoid embarrassing himself any further. He could feel Burgen getting more and more nervous as the entire thing went on, beacuse he could tell that any minute now, Zaru was either going to throw a punch or try to goad someone else into throwing one. He was pretty good at both too, was the problem. Still, at least he got something out of this stupid sausage eating. He'd seen one- no, two different people that were so far, out of his reach. Even so, they were just close enough - he'd train, and then he could prove himself against one or the other. He knew he'd get there, it'd just be hard work. Thankfully, he was an expert at that sort of thing. Zaru turned to look at Cade as he commented on him looking sick, although he was still more bugged by this guy's way of saying his name. He had some kind of bumpkin accent, to the point where even Zaru, who was quite well-travelled, had no idea where he was from. Somewhere in the Great Plains, maybe? He did sound like a farmer, even if he was clearly far more a martial artist than that. Fine, then. Zaru had to acknowledge that he wasn't going to be an eating champion any time soon. This just wasn't his area of expertise, but that didn't bother him. The martial artist slowly stood up from his chair, seeming as though he was fine when he turned to stare at Cade, an intense look in his eyes. "Hey, champ." The belt he'd come in wearing had only intensified Zaru's curiosity, and now it was burning inside him. He had to know, know if he was better or if he still had places to go. He never understood whether this desire to be the best had always been within him, or something had sparked it. Sometimes, he figured he must have inherited it from someone down the line, but it certainly wasn't his father or the old lady. The geezer, maybe. The more that Zaru thought about it, he knew very little about him. Which was intentional, no doubt. "If you ever want to do something worth your time and mine-" Zaru brought up a hand to point a thumb at himself, his expressionless face still staring almost through Cade. "Then I'm ready to fight whenever you are. Just count yourself lucky I never entered your tournament." With that, Zaru shoved his hands in his pockets and turned away, walking away from the eating competition and heading as far as he could get. He was happy to forfeit the whole thing; this wasn't for him. Whatever happened to beginner's luck, anyway? That sucked. Burgen quickly decided to follow after his cousin, mostly just to make sure he didn't cause any more trouble or try to square up to any other people he might've assumed were martial artists. The bigger man gave his older cousin a bit of a look, and Zaru only gave him side-eye in return. He'd been as restrained as he could be; he had promised not to strike anyone, and he hadn't done that. Sure, he'd maybe threatened the Central City Martial Arts Champion, but what was he supposed to do? Ask the guy politely for a fight? That wasn't going to happen. Not ever. That kind of method had never got someone to fight at their best, and it wasn't going to work now. Zaru and Burgen eventually came to a more isolated spot, a small bridge nobody else was walking over. Zaru glanced to his cousin. "We're pretty far away now, huh?"Burgen blinked at him in confusion, turning towards Zaru. "Well yeah, but-" Without any warning, Zaru suddenly shot towards the side and leaned over it, puking the hardest he ever had in his life. Burgen just stared in shock, only seeming to realise now that Zaru had been holding it in, not wanting to either embarrass himself or ruin things for his cousin at the event itself. Zaru had a slight pause in the eruption of his stomach before it resumed again. "Never letting you convince me to come to one of these again..." Burgen once again looked shocked, and began yelling at his still-vomiting cousin in retaliation. "Me, convince you? This was your idea! You insisted on coming!"Zaru finally stopped, turning around and sliding down the railing so that he sat against it, having to take a moment to catch his breath. He brought his arm up and used it to wipe his mouth. The man sat there, trying to just take stock of the situation. For a moment, he seemed to pause, and leaning back, there was an actual grin on his face as he looked up. Burgen looked speechless, mostly at seeing his cousin smile, which was about as common as a blood moon in the sky. Zaru opened his eyes, staring towards Burgen as the grin stayed on his face the entire time, not passing in a second like shows of emotion usually did for him. "Did you see them, though? The two of them. They were crazy strong. I can get better than that! There's so much more, Burgen. Thanks for bringing me along." Now Burgen looked like he was having a crisis as Zaru thanked him, of all things. Assuming his cousin may have been feverish and possibly delirious from his sickness, the larger man simply hoisted Zaru up to his feet, trying to help him along to somewhere he could get water and calm down.

That was it, Cade couldn't even think about eating another sausage. He felt a bit ill as he weakly pushed the platter away from himself and took a deep steadying breath. He didn't think he would be eating any more sausages for quite some time. Hell, he didn't think he's be able to look a sausage in the face for at least a few months. He covered his mouth and let out a small burp and felt his stomach settle uncomfortably... maybe a year - or never. Never sounded pretty good right now. He had just about calmed his stomach calmed down when he heard Zorro call out to him.
He turned to face the bald fella, a curious expression on his face. Zorro looked a bit pale and sweaty, but he was sure as shootin' intense as he spewed some stuff about basically wanting to fight him and that he was lucky he had been too busy to enter the tournament. Cade grinned... looks like Zorro had eaten some sour grapes along with that sausage... no wonder he looks sick. Cade got a large mischievous smile on his face and just gave a friendly wave as Zarro left, "I'll catch up with you some time, Zorro. I'm interested to see how they do things in the major tournaments you usually must attend to have missed this one."
Cade turned back to the table after the bald man had left and rested his elbows on the table, watching the green clad Celery eat more sausages. He shook his head in half disgust and half wonder as he kept chomping through the sausages with barely a pause to take breaths between bites. He shook his head again and asked, "So... is this appetite a Saiyan thing or something unique to you, Celery? I hain't never seen someone eat through something like that and I've seen pigs attack a full trough after not eating for a few days."
Cade would wait until the contest was over and clap along with everyone else for his friend Celery as he was crowned the wiener eating champion of Central City. After the celebration and crowd began breaking up, Cade gathered his stuff and headed out of town. Maybe it was time for him to hit the road and see the wider world...

After that platter was emptied by the Saiyan, yet again another platter was placed on the table, and the Saiyan wasted no time, chomping every single sausage that was there. Soon enough, the bald headed martial artist left and Cade over there.. was stuffed. Celerai saw when he pushed away the platter and stopped. But the Saiyan didn't give up.. even thigh after all of this, he would still eat about three more platters of sausages. It wasn't all that delicious, but it was worth breakfast and lunch.. in one. The competition soon ended with Celerai standing beside the announcer, who officially announced that Celerai has won the Sausage Eating Contest. When Case asked the Saiyan if his appetite was a Saiyan thing, he shrugged and said
"I guess."
Celerai walked outside with the prize money, which wasn't much, but.. it was still enough to buy lunch and dinner tomorrow. No spending money from his pockets this time.
