It was a hot quintessential tropical climate day in South City, with the land of the future dojo development well underway between Tiger Lily and Achido. It was night time, the moon was full, and the street lights illuminated the site, which was mostly dirt, and a foundation at this point. It was taking longer to build walls without proper blueprints, plus all the continued work required breaks, and the teens had agreed to take a couple of days off to rest. Cayle eventually replied to Ty’s text confirming that he will be able to test their strength around 6pm. Ty took advantage of the situation to reply to Cayle with a meme after adding Achido to a new text group on her c-phone. While it was not how Tiger Lily carried herself, she spent days looking for Pilaf memes, as a reminder of her wish to visit Pilaf Land for her birthday, and she hoped both boys thought it was funny otherwise she would find herself in hot water over it. After working a couple of jobs, including helping the locals for typical tasks in exchange for zeni, she was able to replace her broken eye glasses instead of wearing goggles. In addition, a new black sweater and hat that were both ruined when she fought against Luther. However, the black sweatpants leggings were still shredded, as she fell short in zeni for replacing those. The truth was, she never mentioned her fight with Luther to Cayle and she did not want him to worry, she just needed to become stronger so she could defend herself next time by trying to hide the wounds she suffered from him. Since Achido lived close, she expected to see him first, so that she could remind him not tell Cayle anything during the training session. The warm evening was not going to keep her from wearing a sweater, she wore it regardless of the weather, it was more of a comfort thing than anything else. Ty was the first to arrive, finding it odd to see fireflies in the area when they preferred wetlands, or the storm drain for that matter. She raised her hand to her black half frame eyeglasses to squint a bit as she tried to follow them to their source of water, and then blinked a couple of times realizing she may have to get her prescription adjusted if she was struggling to see anything in the relatively dark street.

Cayle had quickly figured out how to get around South City without accounting for the fact that he could fly. It was something he had kept from his fellow Saiyan refugees since he found that he could do it, and it was not hard to do so given the amount of things that he kept himself busy with while trying to take care of the thirty six of them as well as find out information about Cha Cha Kalabasa, if there was any to be found. The Saiyan former farm boy was used to hard work so that did not bother him, but he had been busy up until this point, or precisely twenty minutes before.
The scheduled time that he was supposed to get off of work from Taco King was cut short by Carlos Alfonso and the Sous Chef because “Calito you have worked hard enough, peeling one thousand onions and dicing them, cooking a thousand pounds of black beans, a thousand pounds of red beans and a thousand pounds of pinto beans, peeling and chopping one thousand pounds of potatoes, deseeding and slicing one thousand pounds of bell peppers, a thousand pounds of jalapeno peppers, a thousand pounds of habenero peppers, and a thousand pounds of chipolte peppers, and cooking three different recipes of rice, each with one thousand pounds of rice. We've got all the prep done for all the trucks for maybe two weeks, and the others don't stay busy when they're here. We've got to keep SOMETHING for them to do or they won't work at all and will just sit there chatting while they put people's orders together.”
So for the past fifteen minutes, after eating a quick meal and changing into his street clothes, the Saiyan peasant had been flying through the streets. Twice he had made a wrong turn because his vantage point was different in the sky than on the ground, but now he was at the address which the pretty red head half-Saiyan whom he had become so close with.
Cayle dropped from the sky as gently as he could, but he still did it on the dirt rather than the street's surface. The impact kicked up dust all around him and the Saiyan patted the dust off of himself before grinning to Tiger Lily.
“Hey! I don't understand what you sent. Is it some kind of joke? These Memetic Devices or whatever they are confuse me, even the ones Carlos Alfonso sends to people. But yes, I did give you my shard of a Dragon Ball.”
The Saiyan spoke nonchalantly as he strode forward towards the girl, but his perceptive eyes quickly noticed the beginnings of a burn at her neck, and as he looked the girl over burns else where. With a sigh he looked to her and then pulled her in for a hug. The way her skin felt as he pressed his hand against it through the cloth of her clothes was enough to confirm it. “Did you get in a battle? Was it Tuffles? Did they burn you? These feel like Burns. Are you, okay?”

"Come on, don't give up on me now!" He yelled at the television in front of him, while holding the controller to the newest game console out on the streets. The game made a noise as if he had lost and needed to start over, so the teenager tossed the controller to the other side of the couch, before standing up and looking into the mirror behind his door. "Oh, hey there, good lookin!" Achido smirked at himself, then moved his bangs out from his eyes and smiled wide. "I really hope Ty brings me that grilled cheese she promised me the next time we train!" He muttered to himself, as he moved away from the mirror and went down to the kitchen to get a drink.
Once Achido made it downstairs, his phone began to vibrate, causing him to stop and shuffle through his pockets to find the C-Phone. As the teen finally gripped the small black device, he saw Ty's name pop up on his screen, causing the biggest smile to appear. "Wait, my balls? Ugh, who is that tiny little Gremlin anyway?" He muttered to himself, before realizing that he was about to get the training Ty and himself have been waiting for. The boy quickly ran to the fridge, pulling out a bottle of water and quickly running out the door of his house.
Achido had forgotten to reply to the message, but he had a feeling that Ty and Cayle wouldn't start without him, so he didn't even bother to pull the C-Phone back out. The teenager made his way around the southern islands, following the dirt path that led many people back and forth from the island in which their Dojo would be built. It was a long walk, but the young kid eventually made his way to where Ty and himself had dug out the base for the dojo, but she wasn't alone..
Achido saw the stranger touch Ty, so he quickly began to run forward, before screaming out to get their attention and hopefully catch the strange man off guard. "Hey, you get away from her!!" The kid was still running, closing the distance between them all, then it hit him all at once. It was Cayle, the guy Ty had contacted to help them train. Achido slowed down, then stopped and began to rub the back of his head nervously.

Tiger Lily was alarmed that Cayle discovered the burns by feeling them through her thick black sweater, it was embarrassing to admit that she lost the battle, and she did not want him to tell her Father Koba or she would be permanently grounded. With a sigh, she looked down with a pout, and explained herself.
“I was out to get groceries and an old woman followed a stray cat into an alleyway where a bad person was waiting with a gun to rob her, I tried to stop the assault, but she was pushed to the ground. It was so dark, I need glasses to see but my vision is worse in the darkness sometimes, and I waited for paramedics to arrive to assist the elder who most likely fractured her hip. Once she was helped I ran after the assailant, I almost caught up with them, and then the person turned the corner where I heard a gunshot. At first, I thought that another crime was committed in the process of escape, and I saw a man was holding a gun over a slumped body. I am not a detective but I told this man to drop the gun until police arrived. He refused so I had to kick the gun out of his hand. Next thing I know, he was firing red ki blasts at me, and if the police wanted his statement I needed to keep him from leaving… but I couldn’t do anything. I even used my best flash technique to make him blind, twice, and he never slowed down.”
It was frustrating to explain herself further, she wanted to leave, and in the corner of her eye she felt Achido run up to them nearby. Ty broke away from Cayle’s embrace and met Achido the rest of the way with newfound confidence.
“Hey! That’s the fighting spirit!” Ty reminded Achido as he was already setting the stage for their spar by telling Cayle to back off, “If we work together, we can take him, so keep your eyes peeled, this just might hurt the both of us, so get ready!”
Ty threw her messenger bag to the side of the curb and realized too late that she might have crushed the sandwiches that were in there; but with Achido’s huge appetite, he was more than likely going to swallow his grilled cheese sandwich in one bite anyway, regardless of how mangled it appeared. The orange haired teenager stood adjacent to her best friend’s side and imitated his martial arts fighting stance; she had learned most of her techniques based on what took years for Achdio to master just by observation.

Cayle was not sure how to feel about this turn of events. He could not fault Tiger Lily for doing what she did, but he did feel somewhat upset about her not telling him until now. He promised her parents that he would protect her when she took up a new residence in South City. Not only had she been hurt, she did not apparently trust him enough to tell him the fact that she had been hurt by this spiritual energy manipulation capable, super tier martial artist. It caused his face to redden and made the young man quiver in anger for a moment, but not anger at Kuri. No, his anger was leveled entirely at who did this to her.
“What is the name of the fool who did this to you?” he asked, his tone entirely exasperated by the circumstance before using his spiritual energy manipulation abilities to heal Tiger Lily’s burns, just as he had been doing to the cooks of Taco King and to Tiger Lily’s home island elderly neighbor on the next island over. The Saiyan was surprised at the ability but did not take it for granted, and as such told Tiger Lily to move in the ways he directed as he healed her of her residual burns, and by the time she was done, she broke away to stand by her friend.
It was then that he recognized Achido’s words and turned, looking positively murderous for a moment before speaking up. “I am Cayle Pota, son of Pota Potaset, himself son of Potaset Potaset, himself son of Potaset Onio, himself son of Onio Pota, himself son of Pota the Proud. What is your name? Are you the friend of Tiger Lily's known as sneeze or Achoo dos?"
Already, now that he was done healing Tiger Lily’s burns, the Saiyan former farm boy walked to one of the partially built walls of this dojo buildings of Tiger Lily and Achido before slipping the black leather jacket that he normally wore when outdoors off, and then his orange and black t-shirt. Without a word after that he dug into the duffle bag that he had been carrying and brought out a suit orange and black colored martial arts training clothes. If they were actually watching, they would have seen the scars all over his back did not spread to his legs, though he had enough Earthling sensibilities gained to not change his boxers out in the open too. When he was finished, the Saiyan rolled his shoulders and walked back to Tiger Lily and Achido.
“I am not going to hold back when it comes to testing your skill, as if I did it would be unfair and give me an unreasonable expectations of your progress as martial artists.” Then he began to perform stretches as he waited for them to change if they wished to, and when he was finished the Saiyan would-be warlord walked back to his duffle bag and pulled out an ancient, somewhat crumpled cape with golden fasteners. Without a word, he wrapped it around his torso like a sash and fastened it to itself, letting his dark brown fur covered monkey like tail snake through the air as he prepared.

Just as the human teen stepped forth and watched as Ty moved to his side, he looked back to Cayle with a slight grin upon his lips and listened to the saiyan introduce himself in a weird way. "You're weird! Stay away from my best friend, ya creep!" He yelled out to the man, but then noticed something swaying back and forth from behind the saiyan. Achido quickly looked to Ty, worried that they were in danger. "Next time, I am picking you up in my truck. What are we up against here? This is Cayle, right?"
Achido had no idea what they were up against, but it seemed that Ty was more than eager to get things started, so the teenager smiled a bit, then looked back to Cayle. "I'm sorry I called you a creep, Mister Pota. I was just..I thought someone was trying to hurt Ty and I cannot let that happen again. Not after what that Android thing did to her." He said to the man with what seemed to be a tail swinging behind him. Achido was unsure who Cayle was or what his intentions were, but the teen made sure to keep his guard up and watch every movement the male would make.

The Saiyan's eyes widened even more at the revelation that this human child, -because given his height Cayle did not realize that Achido was just a few physical years younger than him- knew about the attack before Cayle happened to know about it. Without hesitation or any clear malice in his voice, controlling his voice despite the fact he had just been called 'weird' by this young man, Cayle responded with a simple statement. “What is the name of this android you speak of that did this to Tiger Lily? I want to hear it from one of your lips, because I have to see things righted, on my pride as a Saiyan and my honor as a warrior.” his voice remained leveled as he said it, the young Saiyan would-be warlord was extremely capable at controlling his emotions when he tried to, and they had agreed to a spar in this instance, to train with these two he needed to control his anger or he might end up hurting them. Further, if he did not control his anger, they might not tell him the name of the android who had hurt Tiger Lily and he might have to resort to other methods to find out the name and identity of the figure. They were on a timer of sorts, for every second that they were not getting stronger, the enemies which lurked in the shadows were, and so the Saiyan former farm boy narrowed his icy blue eyes at the two of them and spoke up before pushing his spiritual energy through his body and pumping himself up, inevitably engulfing himself in a wave of energy and causing a cackling change in atmosphere centered around himself, orange and green bolts of static electricity coming from him and the force of his spiritual energy in and of itself. “Come at me with all you have, Tiger Lily, and Mister Sneeze.” because if Achido did not correct him on the name, that must be the correct usage of his name, no? The Saiyan refugee turned would-be warlord had no way of knowing the difference, or how strange it would be for a human to be named after a bodily function, as Earth was an alien planet to him and the customs of the Earthlings were alien to him. He was a stranger in a strange land, and daily reminded of this. Achido took a step back when Cayle began to speak up, almost as if the saiyan was demanding information. It scared the human a bit, but he needed to be strong because Ty was next to him, and he wanted to make sure the woman was safe no matter what. Achido may have liked Ty a bit more than he realized and that may be his downfall during this training session. His gaze met Cayle's when the saiyan finished asking the questions, then the teenager gave him a slight nod. " I think his name was Luther. Some Android, or something like that." He announced to Cayle, giving the saiyan the information he asked for. The boy didn't want any type of trouble, but he looked to Ty, hoping that he had not disappointed her with his actions. Either way, he shook off the human feelings that engulfed him momentarily, then looked back to Cayle as he told Ty and Mister Sneeze to come at him. The teenager gritted his teeth in anger, ignoring the fact that Cayle was much stronger than himself or Ty. " My name is Achido, not Mister Sneeze!!" He yelled at the saiyan, taking a step forward, before using his brain to stop where he was. He didn't want to fight the man, but it seemed this was their test of strength. “Ah yeah, I still need to get my driving permit, but you have to promise to teach me how to drive your truck.” Ty mused, “Achido, please meet Cayle Potaset in person, we’re going to fly together and go to Pilaf Land, do you want to come? I can carry you, shortie.” She ruffled his hair for a second and put her hands back in a fighting stance. To her surprise Achido gave away Luther’s name and now she was not going to be able to fight that android in a rematch if Cayle got to him first or it would be overkill. It was not like she had the opportunity to tell him by this point being so busy doing odd jobs to save up for the training dojo and her trip to Pilaf Land. “I am a little nervous, honestly. I don’t think Cayle is going to hold back on us. We’re going to have to soak in an ice water bath once he’s through.” Ty whispered over to Achido almost leaning her shoulder into him as she expected to defend herself. [185] [1,043]

Cayle was not entirely sure the age of this young human man who he was facing off against alongside facing off of against Tiger Lily. The Saiyan former farm boy cracked his knuckles as he thought, his icy blue eyes patient as he blinked and listened to what this boy or small man had to say, taking note of the information that he had provided. An Android by the name of Luther. It wouldn't be easy to track down such a man, but he would pull strings and he would also likely make Carlos Alfonso push his own political clout into finding out the full name of the guy or at least a picture of him. If that didn't work? There were plenty of South City Police Department officers who dined at the HQ office or one of the Taco Trucks, and he could very easily smooth talk his way into getting information and a print out picture of every person with biological and mechanical components or who would otherwise fit the moniker of an 'android' who was also by the name of Luther. If that didn't work, he would expand to every one named Luther in South City and the surrounding areas. To the rest from the blonde haired young Earthling, the Saiyan would-be warlord simply smirked calmly and patiently. He could see the telltale signs of anger in the young man, and certainly Cayle did not like to be called a name which was not his own name by someone whom he barely knew, but having such anger could be a determent to a martial artist if your opponent could trigger it. Achido stopped himself from attempting to strike a blow on the dark brown haired Saiyan, and so Cayle rolled his shoulders patiently. Achido chose to control his anger rather than give into it. That was a good sign to the young human's actual potential as a martial artist. When Tiger Lily leaned in to the blonde haired young man and whispered to him, the Saiyan leaned forward to attempt to pick up snatches of what was said. Superior senses did pick up the majority of it, but he simply chuckled before doing a few lunges, then back stretches, then cracking his knuckles. The Saiyan peasant then smirked wider before speaking up. “Then to formally introduce ourselves to one another, Achido. I am Cayle Pota, son of Pota Potaset, who was himself son of Potaset Potaset, who was himself son of Potaset Onio, who was himself son of Onio Pota, who was himself son of Pota the Proud. It is nice to meet you. I understand you humans have family names or clan names rather than being named after whichever of your direct parents was stronger than the other. What is your clan or family name?”It was with that said, and an introduction made, that the Saiyan closed his eyes and began to think of his own training, both those which were martial arts training as a child, to consensual fights with other Saiyan children, to the arduous struggles which he faced when in the hands of the Tuffle Science Executive and their horrible experiments. He thought of the best way to go about this, and helping get Tiger Lily and Achido to be stronger. The ultimate answer he came to was simple. He could not hold back, he had to see how strong they were from a fundamental level and he had to help push them to get even stronger than that. So now he began breathing in a focused manner, rapid inhales and slow exhales, and as he continued his controlled breath he rushed forward to the still clumped together pair of young martial artists. If he was an Earthling, he might find some issue with hitting his paramour, even in a sparring match- but he was not an Earthling. Saiyans innately respected strength and pushed for it in others. So he began a flurry of strikes at the orange haired young woman and her blonde friend, aiming to test them without giving them a moment to breath on the matter. With out a word, he began to throw punches, kicks, knees, elbows. As he did, his arms and legs even began to exude orange and green bolts of lightning like spiritual energy. Just as Ty spoke of learning to drive his truck, he gave a slight chuckle in response. " Teach me some more of those neat techniques and I'll gladly let you drive my truck!" He called out with excitement in his voice. When the woman leaned over and whispered to the teenager, Achido moved his head a bit closer to hear her words more clear. " He's that strong, huh?" He whispered back, hoping that Cayle was unable to hear their words. As Cayle Pota officially introduced himself to the teenager, Achido smiled a bit, happy to see that the man got his name right. He then gave the saiyan a bow of respect, before responding to his words. " Clan? No, our family is sort of falling apart, but the family name is Nakamura. My mother and father are two different people all together and they are nothing alike in any way." He responded to the man before them both. It seemed that Cayle had this aura about him, one that Achido was learning to like the more he spoke. With Cayle rushing forward at them both, the eyes of Achido flew open, unable to think of what to do because of how nervous he was. When the punches came cruising by, the teenager was struck hard, causing his head to whip to the side and legs to stumble back. Before he knew it, the attacks kept coming, so he quickly threw his arms up to absorb some of the damage that was thrown his way. Cayle was strong and that was obvious, but Achido had a little fire left in him. The teenager glared at the saiyan, then threw a few punches of his own, hoping to do some sort of damage. Ty’s ocean teal eyes widened as Cayle delivered a series of blows to test their guard, at this rate they were not going to survive the next ten minutes, and she flinched from the impact. In her peripheral she noted Achido’s jaw drop, she moved out of the way, and reached over to her dearest friend’s dropped jaw raising it back up to close his mouth between her fingers. This was done intentionally to give him an assisted boost in order to take a third action to utilize all of his techniques that he mastered at his father’s dojo. “Chin up, Achido.” Ty gave him a knowing grin before turning away. “The two of us are gonna give it our best shot!” She looked over to face Cayle to utilize the first technique she learned manipulating ki. Her fingers were outstretched to fan over the frame of her face and released a blinding light in the darkness of the night. “Solar flare! Ha!”[163] [1,206]

The was part of the Saiyan former farm boy that regretted going all out on the two, he didn't want to hurt them or dishearten them in the face of overwhelming force, but coddling them would not teach them to be martial artists of great caliber or 'bad asses' as one of Carlos Alfonso de La Reyes' favorite television shows to turn on in the kitchens of the headquarters of restaurant of Taco King said. Cayle was quite sure the show was called something like Adder Kai or the like. The icy blue eyes of the Saiyan would-be warlord were not without pity or empathy for the two, but his that did not stop him from striking as hard as he could at the two of them. He was outnumbered, that should have been enough of a handicap against him if Achido was truly a martial artist of 'super' caliber, given Tiger Lily was herself a Half Saiyan and should have some of the natural abilities of her race to help in the fight. “One is only as strong as their will and their drive to succeed, Nakamura Achido-kun.” he said after hearing the young man's comment and remark about his family. “And you can be the pillar strength for your family, if you only try. They might be disparate but they have no choice of ties, a family is your's and even if they are not each other's anymore they still owe a duty to you. That's why I won't stop training, fighting, or exploring until I find my siblings, or what happened to them.” His words carried empathy despite the strength of the strikes he had lobbed at the young man, but when it was over and Tiger Lily spoke up yet again, even going so far as to touch the young man's chin as if he was someone of such fragile emotional strength that a simple volley of strikes would put him down and out of a fight, something sparked alive in Cayle. He was not sure what it was, be it disgust, anger, or greed, but what he did know is he didn't care necessarily for Tiger Lily so lovingly touching this young man who she had known in all technicality for a shorter time than she had known Cayle. So his eyes were wide and on them when the volley of spiritual energy which glowed so bright it was like looking directly at the sun hit him, and when the pair of strikes hit him with the assistance of Tiger Lily's strike. Even as the blonde young man's strikes hit him, the dark brown haired Saiyan's lightning aura kicked up, sparking with orange and green sparks of energy as contact between the two was made. That wasn't what Cayle meant when he said 'hit me with all you had' but he had not been concrete in his exact specifications, and he supposed humans could be a bit prone to arguing the exact letter of the statement as opposed to its intent. As a pair of tears floated down his cheeks from the Saiyan peasant's now watery and irritated eyes, which could not see more than blurs, the Saiyan instead shifted his focus from striking them with his sight to instead focus on his other senses. He sniffed the air in front of him, detecting the somewhat familiar smell of Tiger Lily Koba of the Kalabasa Clan, and the not familiar smell of Achido Nakamura. Feeling the shifting of the sea breeze of South City against his skin, the resistance of the dirt as his feet pushed against them when he went back to fighting stance, and finally, the feeling of their spiritual energy as well. Without another word said, he cracked his neck, rolled his shoulders, and prepared to strike yet again. When the strikes came, they were a repeat of the other strikes. Achido was once again rushed toward by Cayle, so he had to think quick. The earthling managed to dig deep down using his ki to Teleport away. With nothing phasing the saiyan before him, Achido's jaw dropped, wondering how Ty and himself were going to get stronger when they could barely even touch the man. Just a few seconds later he felt the soft fingertips of Ty push his jaw closed, followed by the sound of her voice. He looked to her with a confident smile and gave the female a nod. " You're right, Ty! We can do this!" He said to her with excitement in his voice. The teenager seemed to have the confidence he needed to keep the fight alive, so he turned away when Ty began to use her next technique. As the sky lit up for a brief moment, Achido knew that it was safe to look back and just as he did that, the teenager noticed that Cayle was blinded from Solar Flare technique Ty managed to conjure up. " Hey, you did it!" He said to the woman, as he turned to embrace her, proud of his she had blinded the saiyan. She was warm and her heart was beating at a fast pace, probably from the energy used to conjure up that massive Solar Flare, but it made him feel more secure than ever before. As Achido pulled away from the hug, he glanced into the teal eyes of Ty and instantly felt more connected to her. He slowly leaned in and attempted to give the woman a passionate kiss. When he pulled away from the kiss, his hand left her cheek and turned to face where Cayle was standing about blindly. The butt of his palm was open and facing directly at the saiyan male. " This is for you!" He called out, while charging up a powerful blast of ki, then releasing two blasts simultaneously toward the blinded saiyan. Achido was still hurt from the last attacks he had been hit with, but he had a new confidence about him and that would continue to carry on even after this spar was finished. In the brief moment that Cayle was blinded, Achido stroked her ego by congratulating her, in response she rubbed the back of her head with a knowing smile. Suddenly her best friend hugged her briefly and kissed her on the lips when she blinked. It was an unexpected turn of events, she reacted with a deep red blush on her face, the teen had no idea how Achido felt about her until this very moment, and she was quite confused by it. Did this mean he wanted to be more than friends or was it common to simply express genuine feelings this way? At a loss, she would have to call her mother later if she still retained consciousness after their training, and figure out what to make of this situation. There was no time to put more thought at their present situation as Cayle kept pressing them on. “Achido...I think I understand how you feel but I am a good girl. Remember that.” Is all she could say with a bit of sadness in her voice, she failed to mention to her best friend that she was in a relationship with Cayle at some point, and she did not think of herself as some kind of floozy stringing along the hearts of potential suitors. If there was anything in the world that she wanted the most was for Achido to be happy. Tiger Lily was distracted against another incoming attack from Cayle getting knocked down to the ground breaking her glasses in the process from her carelessness. It was a brand new pair, she pouted as she made up her mind to buy annoying contacts if she kept breaking them in fights, she rolled out of the way from the other attack as her zenkai became active. Her saiyan energy surged wildly from an untapped pool of ki. With the new energy at her fingertips, she launched the same attack Cayle had been raining on them, in quick succession only a blur of her orange hair was visible at the speed she moved in.
