Icecap was released from prison after spending several nights being interrogated by police to get a confession for his attempted murder of Melody. Without his confession and only the statement from a namekian salaryman the authorities had no choice but to release him after the bond was paid by Duke Glacier of Orchestra Village in the Pig Demon Duchies. The money was wired the same night he was imprisoned and Melody did not cooperate in giving her testimony as a victim to the potential crime. Speculation alone was not enough to charge Icecap and so he was out on the loose in South City. The Duchess kept herself busy since her arrival and had not seen her childhood rival to demand an explanation. It was a typical evening and the streets were empty with hardly any traffic. The only sounds that were heard was of the night life with music booming against the walls from several clubs and bars at every corner. Everyone was indoors but Melody did not care for the type of lifestyle tourists and locals involved themselves with, she was simply out on an evening stroll until she saw Icecap walk up to her. He looked worn thin and the dark circles under his eyes made him look like he was punched in each socket. Before she could say anything he hesitated and ran down the street so she chased after him drawing her capsule Corp steel sword so she can get a good hit on him. Moments before she could finally catch him she ran into the street and immediately crashed with a shiny black car with dark tinted windows. While a person would typically be sent flying into the air from the impact it was the engine of the car that was ejected instead. The Duchess was durable enough to withstand the impact of the vehicle without injury although it did sting just a bit as she was caught by surprise initially. The headlights were still on illuminating her form as she stood there expectedly, she was wearing navy blue jeans, a yellow long sleeve shirt with the sleeves rolled up to her biceps, red sneakers with white laces, and her sword in hand. A rather large, sleek, solid black vehicle was speedily making it's way down the lonely and dimly lit road. There didn't seem to be many people wandering around outside of the buildings, especially since it was it was currently nighttime and all of the post lights were all lit. Inside of the painted vehicle were two dark skinned men. One was short and stout and the other was tall and muscular. It was Luther, a half established rapper, and Bigby, that rapper's loyal and trusted companion and agent. The two men made small talk while they drove, chatting idly about Luther's recent scuffle he had with his boss. "Can you believe this? He wants me to take a pay cut just 'cause the cash ain't flowin' in? The hell's is he on?"The volume of Luther's voice kept rising steadily as he spoke, expressing his rage and annoyance with the manager of his label. The man known to the music industry as 'Bling' was the proud owner of a music label known as 'Urban Records', famous for its collection of aspiring and shining rap names. Bling had wanted to cut Luther's already lackluster pay(in his eyes) by twenty five percent, and Luther obviously didn't take kindly to that request. Long story short, he had stormed out of the room, accomplishing nothing but riling up Bling. "Luke, you should've been expecting him to pull something like that a long time ago. I've warned you once about him, he's a lover of money.""Who doesn't love money?""Uh, the hero type martial artists?""Whatever, man. I couldn't care less about these 'hero type' fighters. None of them are any good anyways."Luther placed his head in his palm, looking out the window as he did so. He felt lost in the few lights and sights he spotted throughout the drive. He tried his best to not think too much about his career, but that wasn't a very wise choice of action to Luther at the moment. Upset and angry, Luther turned back towards Bigby. "Yo Big Dog?""Huh?"Bigby turned to face Luther, an action he would regret in the next couple seconds. The car slammed into an unknown person or object, shattering the front of the vehicle. "ARGH! THE HELL-"Bigby's whole body was flung forwards, but the airbag installed in the vehicle saved him, inflating fully in a mere second to soften the stout man's impact. He nearly cursed after the airbag had fulfilled its purpose, but restrained himself. Luther, on the other hand, was worse for wear. The glass cracked, and Luther's head nearly flew through the whole screen. As the vehicle settled, Luther had one palm planted on his face, and was ready to start cursing and shouting at his agent. That was until the top of his car was suddenly gone. The sudden blast of air that bathed Luther forced him to look upwards, spotting the culprit almost immediately. Luther's features twisted into one of rage and anger, and it was all directed towards a single individual.... "Oh hell no..."Quickly, Bigby freed himself from his seat, leaping out of the car as quickly as he possible could. Luther stumbled out of the vehicle as well, and immediately began shouting at the top of his near perfect voice in the green haired woman's face. "WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK?! HELL ARE YOU DOING TO MY CAR?! YOUR SKULL THICK?! WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DAMN ROAD?! ANSWER ME! GODDAMN!"His words flowed out of his mouth freely as he failed to keep his violent power under check, and Bigby sheepishly took a couple steps back. Luther's energy coursed through his body, and a very faint red aura could be seen coating his body. Bigby shook his head at the scene, and spoke to himself. "Damn. This ain't gonna be pretty..."

“What?” Melody was confused for a minute since the car had actually hit her first, she was just crossing the street, and the brake did not even trigger. “The car hit me! Are your brakes shot? You idiot! It’s a free world, I can cross the street however I well damn please! I am a Duchess Melody among the Pig Demon Duchies, prepare to receive my wrath!.” Violet eyes narrowed as Luther released his ki aura to radiate in a luminous red glow, the audacity of getting hit by a four thousand pound car, and he still threatened her with insults along with insinuating violence because she resisted getting hit by it? People had no manners outside of the Western lands and it was starting to irritate her, she already had a thin patience for the common rabble, and she was incapable of forgiving so easily. The Duchess sliced the top of the car because it was already totalled, with the engine twisted it up on the street, and she was making sure no one was hurt inside. With her sword already drawn, she channeled her ki through the blade, if it looked sharp before, the added violet colored ki made it look lethal now, rather than surround herself with the aura she focused it on her sword. There was a reason she was a ruler of her domain, a petite green haired woman full of scorn was still an expert with a sword, and she carried it one handed like an extension of her right arm. Melody leaped off the axle and landed on the street next to the car. She walked very slowly towards the middle of the street, with a sway in her hips, and stopped directly across Luther. The steel sword was raised up, her left hand in a first drawn back, an exemplary stance of over twenty five years of master sword training. Without another second to waste, she rushed towards the infamous rapper to close the distance between them, she leaned forward almost in a bow, and swung her sword from a lowered stance to a diagonal upper cut aiming for his hip up towards his shoulder with the tip of the blade imbued with ki. Luther's anger continued to rise steadily, and only grew even more as the woman shouted right back at him. Luther had only really gotten upset because of his car roof, having been sliced off cleanly by the sharp, pointed and lethal sword held by the woman. The girl had sass, yes, and that in itself upset Luther. His teeth were clamped down on each other tightly, as Luther struggled terribly to control his overflowing anger, however, that didn't seem possible. The girl's words did little to soften him, as Luther only shouted again. "Yeah?! C'mon then! Show me how good your shit is!"She wielded the long blade with skill, and imbued it with energy coated violet. That sword was probably going to injure someone, not that either of them were anywhere near calm enough or decent enough to care. The girl ended up taking the first strike, sweeping her sword in a wide, diagonal arc, slicing through the air. Luther dashed backwards, avoiding the blade completely. He watched closely as the sword passed through the area he once stood in, and noted the amount of energy radiating from the weapon. Luther responded with an imbued attack of his own, as his two fists burst into red energy. His agent, Bigby, immediately began protesting, suggesting that they both calm down. "Hey, hey! Homies, stop! There's no need for violence, y'know!"This comment only made Luther angrier, and he cursed at his agent. "Shut yo ass up, Big Dog!"That kept his agent quiet for the time being. He dashed towards the green haired woman, careful not to end up being cut by the sword's edge. He used his superior height and arm length to his advantage, attempting to land some quick jabs aiming at her face, before dashing backwards once more. Keeping his distance a good couple meters away.

Melody arched a brow at the mention of terms such as ‘Big Dog’ and ‘homie’, finding herself way out of her element compared to the rural lifestyle she grew up in, the urban environment was something other wordly, and she sighed at the cultural differences. In truth, she was just out for her evening constitutional, Ice Cap just made matters worse by making an appearance, and the last time she checked auto insurance usually dealt with these matters. While she was angry about being challenged, getting more of a work out with all of her flexing, and after missing her sword attack the first time; she was about ready to call the fight off. However, that did not stop Luther from responding to her threat with a vengeance, she missed hitting the fool, and he still acted on his own anger with a blast of ki energy. Using the flat side of her sword she absorbed the damage from the first one and the second one spilled over to her arms. It stung quite a bit, a tear formed in the corner of her violet eyes from the pain, this man was a force to be reckoned with. “So, it is not enough to get by your car, I am just supposed to stand here and take your lip? Do you even know how much it hurts to be hit with a heavy metal auto engine? Ass hole.” The Duchess swung her sword at him again with the same ferocity as before and if she missed again at that point she could only hope to convince him to stop or end up running away from this beast. Luther felt the harsh impact of his burning, red hot fist crashing painfully against the solid steel of the woman's sword. A spark of ki flew in the air as the impact was made, and Luther gritted his teeth. The second jab had managed to damage the girl, the ki emanating from his fist spilling out and over her arms. As planned, he dashed backwards, and hissed his teeth at the woman's comment. "It clearly didn't hurt you enough to damage you! Just look at it! The roof came clean off! Hell's the matter with you?"His angry shouts were a harsh response, and clearly, the woman was having none of it. She swung her sharp weapon so powerfully, that Luther's ears picked up the very slicing sound it made as it travelled through the air, and immediately, Luther instinctively raised his arms, attempting to block the lethal attack. He failed. Miserably. The sword sliced straight through Luther's arms, and could've gone even further, had it not been for his half metallic body. Blood spurted into the air, and Luther's arm nearly came clean off. Luther shouted, and you could simply hear the pain in his audible voice. Luther stepped backwards, and examined his arm. There was an obviously deep slice wound laid across his forearm, bleeding profusely. Burn marks from the imbued ki were visible. A tiny area of his marina was torn thanks to the slash. He held the arm in his free hand, and dropped to his knees. He took in a deep breath, probably the longest breath he'd ever taken in his life, and yelled. "FUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-"As the scream continued, Bigby covered his ears. As far as he was concerned, Luther wasn't really in any real danger of being permanently injured, since him being an android means he could be rebuilt at any time. Although those wounds Luther sustained looked nasty... but hey, he brought it on himself. Luther was now shouting furiously at the woman, filled with rage and hate directed towards her. "THE HELL WAS THAT FOR!? WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOUR DUMBASS!? ARGH! LOOK AT MY DAMN ARM!"At this point, Luther's energy involuntarily poured out of his body, and Luther ceased his pointless shouts. He allowed his anger to fuel him as his pointed his good arm towards the woman. A massive orb of ki formed in his palm, and he wore a painful, wicked, angry expression on his face. He looked as if he wanted blood, as if he was coldly staring down an unfortunate victim. "You shouldn't have done that."The surge of energy burst forth in a large beam of crimson light, heading directly towards the woman. Bigby's eyes widened, and he could only hope that Luther gets a hold of himself before things get messy.

The moment Melody sliced through Luther’s skin, something was amiss, what should have severed his arm completely was stopped by a force equal to the blade of the sword she was holding in her hand. When her violet eyes looked down, she was trying to slice through metal, and she wondered what kind of abomination she was up against. It was enough to disgust her, she had never met anyone with cybernetic modifications done to their bodies, and she was well aware that people were obsessed with advanced technology. However, there reached a point where obsession becomes an addiction, and Luther must have been some kind of technology maniac to allow himself to be modified this way. What did that make him? A lesser earthling? Was the blood even real? Blood gushed at her face and dotted her clothes, with eyes wide open, she stared coldly at him. “What the hell are you?” Melody questioned, she had no intention to kill him initially, since every attempt she made to strike him without any hesitation, and now she was wondering if his kind needed to be purged as a disgrace to humankind. Another blast came for her, this time heated with revenge from her assault, and she impulsively used the flat of her sword to take the damage which still spilled over. Luther's rage leaked out of him, and his attacks were much more ferocious than they usually were. It was as if a wild animal had escaped a zoo, and was now on the loose and in a violent killing spree. The blast shot by the big man made direct contact with his opponent, and she bounded across the street to land on top of the scrap heap that used to be Luther's car. Luther still held his ruined arm in his free hand, and put pressure on the bleeding wound. He gritted his teeth, and with that gross sneer on his dark face he glared at the green haired sword wielder. "What the hell do you think you're doin'?"He didn't even notice the woman's almost incredulous question, and ran towards the pile of metal that Luther now hated. His crimson red aura burst to life around him, and as he ran, he opened his palm, and a equally red, compact orb formed immediately. He drew his arm back, and once he was about a meter away from the woman, he tossed the ki at the ruined car instead of at the woman. There were buildings around, anyways, and Luther did not want to cause too much collateral damage to anything other than the road. The car detonated as soon as it made contact with fiery energy, and Luther watched the bursting flames with no remorse. His car was wrecked anyways, and at this point, it didn't look like it could be saved. So, the car ended up being a bomb, and Luther wanted his opponent to get caught in the blast of it. Bigby on the other hand, was sweating bullets. He silently prayed to no god in particular, and hoped that none of the two combatants would seriously injure on another. He could always jump in himself if needed, or if no divine intervention prevented severe injury. Although, Luther was bleeding out pretty badly right now.

At the sight of the ki blast whizzing past, she found it strange that it was not aimed directly at her, and the car took most of the damage. By then, she figured he was trying to destroy the evidence that they were in an accident. The nerve of this revolting, bipedal on metal skeleton, surrounded by faux flesh, think he was trying to do? Before she could utter a word at his defiance for the lack of tact over the justice system of South City , the car exploded, and sent her flying into the air like a rocket. The Duchess was almost at the top of a large building, a rooftop party of people screamed when they witnessed the green haired woman fall back to the ground, forming a crater in the asphalt street, and noticed the burning car. Just as Luther had planned, the burst of energy he fired slammed into the broken heap of metal and burst into flames after a rather loud explosion. The woman flew high into the air, and Luther watched as she rose higher, higher, and higher. Eventually she rose so high that Luther actually grew concerned. His eyebrows raised as the woman hit the ground with a rather loud thud. The woman got back to her feet slowly, and the big guy could hear loud, surprised and bewildered voices from above. After raising his head to search for the source of the voices, he saw way too much people looking down from a rooftop, displaying the regular curiosity of civilians. Luther didn't want to draw attention to the fight, he wanted to be as discreet as possible! Although, destroying cars through explosions probably wasn't the best way to do that. It seems as if his plan had backfired.... "Shit."A single word dropped out of the rapper's mouth. After which, he shook his head, and began to watch the woman he fought with rapt attention. Two energy blasts were shot at him, although they were... less than accurate. Luther avoided them both easily by sidestepping, and he continued to grit his teeth due to the sheer amount of pain he was in. His eyes rounded as the girl ripped her shirt to bits with her bare hands, but his resolve did not falter. He created two orbs of energy in his two palms, both roughly the size of a basketball. He fired the first one, this time directed towards her. After the energy dissipated from his hand, he fired the second beam of burning, crimson ki. Bigby, on the other hand, was just about ready to jump into the fray, and yet still he didn't. There was something preventing him from bringing all of this madness to a halt. He shook his head, and continued to hope for the best.

Luther continued to muscle through the amount of attacks that had been thrown at him throughout the fight, all while enduring the pain he still felt in his mechanical arm. While the bleeding had almost definitely ceased, the dark red blood was still coating his arm, seemingly dried up. The woman seemed worse for wear, dressed in substantially less clothing than what she was dressed in at the beginning of this needless conflict. While Luther might admit that he'd wasted a few moments eyeing, he was still more pissed than he had ever been, and he still hadn't managed to completely defeat the tanned woman standing a few meters in front of him. She turned to the rap star's agent, still wild with fear while knowing that any intervention from him would result in Luther possibly assaulting him. Every inch of her body ached, she was running out of patience, and energy to continue their street fight. The red surging energy was blasted at her again, she leaped back into the crater she made from the fall, the burning ki still spilled over, followed by another blast which took the air right out of her lungs. “Ugh” Melody moaned in pain from the impact, the color of her violet eyes changed to a light grey, and was rendered unconscious while falling back into the crater in a curled up position.
