Oolong City. A gilded marvel of wonder and might, resplendent and elegant and powerful. The Earthlings had sought to construct for themselves these mighty spires, like lances of sin stabbing at the heaven’s in prideful defiance. They seemed, at the surface, to be mighty. And where better to begin a journey towards power than in the heart of such falsehoods? Like Gomorrah, this city’s gilded plating was all too thin, peeling away and revealing its rusted core.
This was the very essence of human society. The fetid stench of mankind’s feeble minds struggling to craft even these pitiful fantasies fouled the air. Such dreams, pathetic even by the measure of an ant, so obviously vain and deceitful a pawn shop would not spare a handful of pennies to peddle the lie. There were Nine here that claimed power, whose actions had riled the wrong people, and Marjhan, merely a foreigner, had heard of them. She had, in no way, accepted the offer to remove this organization. Why would she grace the likes of fools with the opportunity to acquire a service from her, when it was they who, as peasants, were the pretenders. Such claims to might fell hollow at the face of reality, that such a Gang of Nine could cause their knees to quake. Would it not be for the incomprehensibly small ambitions of man, the entire society of Earth could collapse! Nine heads as keys to the kingdom, a trivial price.
So many fools to dispose of, so little time to spare. Worse, the affront before her. The man hobbled rather than run, and yet she’d only chased him for ten blocks. Struggle as he might, her relentless pace was more than a match for his wild, thoughtless desperation. Blood leaked from him, a wound cut deep in his side, but in these dark streets the witnesses were keen to keep their eyes low and go about their lives. The man scurried like a frightened insect down an alleyway, towards a structure. She followed.
His eyes caught her behind him and he screamed wildly. "Grill! Grill open up!"
A knife-like smile cut across her face and she slowed her pace, her dead eyes waiting for the perfect opportunity to strike. His fist slammed against the door, a sickly green square portal set amid red bricks stained by the acid rain of the poisoned skies of this city. Thump! Thump! Thump! "Grill!"
"…ck’s going on out here?!" a man shouted as the door swung outwards.
An invisible lance of ki punched through the bleeding mans chest, blood bursting like a fountain through his torso and spraying the man in the doorway. Another ki blast blew the door back inwards, catching the man in the portal and carrying him with it well into the factory. "Take pride in this moment," she whispered, "it is a luxury to be killed by a Saiyan."
"Holy shit!" the man supposedly named Grill shouted. She had no idea what Grill looked like, whether this was a puppet or not, but the man lifted a stick and pointed it towards her. She raised an eyebrow, unsure about what the human intended to do with it. ”Die, bitch!”
He squeezed the trigger, sending a volley of three blasts at her. The first two flew wide but the third struck true, smacking her in the right thigh. She staggered and cursed as a surprising amount of pain jolted through her. A high energy blast! This fool had the power level of a domestic housecat, yet could manifest something like this? Interesting, but irrelevant in the end. She continued her relentless walk towards him, nearing the doorway with every step. The man fired several more blasts at her, but this time she channeled the required amount of ki to mitigate any such nuisance.
She approached the entrance and noted the crimson puddle left by the corpse’s death rattle. Fearing that she might soil the white tabi or the furisode she had been growing fond of, she took care to avoid any slip as she stepped around the fluids. The pitter patter of boots against metal catwalks resounded above her. The room was tall and wide, two large, metal cylinders filled with something unknown flanked the man she suspected of being Grill. He was trapped beneath the green door, looking upwards at six gunmen. The catwalk encircled the large, open room, with one bisecting it; the Earthlings were scattered about them. "Take her down!" Grill commanded.
They unloaded a relentless fusillade of firepower, each blast erupting into more and more smoke, obscuring the target area. The cascade of fire ended and they leaned over their railings, trying to see what remained of their target.
Too late and too slow to notice the inhuman speed of a Saiyan in prime form. She wasn’t even near breaking a sweat. A knife-like folded fan punched through one of the gunmen’s back and out his chest. A gentle push sent him over the edge. Two of the five remaining gunmen noticed in time to spin and open fire, but she was gone. A flash and a moment later, she was beside one of the six, the fan unfolding into a bladed tessen, slicing through his throat. Before the erupting fountain could hit her, she was gone, beside another, repeating the process.
The three remaining gunmen panicked. One unloaded his rifle into the space in front of him, wildly hoping to hit something – anything. The other two ran towards the door they had entered from. As they approached, she appeared before and between them in a flash, two fans cutting through the air to strike, only to disappear a moment later – too fast for the quicker of the two guards to lower his rifle. He pumped an energy blast into his comrade, sending the latter flying with a sad exhale. A spear of kinetic ki shot through the mans shoulders from above and blew through his hip and the metal railing beneath him. He sloshed down onto railing, a stream of fluids spilling onto the floor below.
The final gunman heard a click. He looked down at his rifle. Empty. A whisper of movement tickled his ears, black hair falling like a curtain in front of him, cut like a razor.
"Please," he begged.
"Futile." All six gunmen were neutralized with one final cut.
"What do you want?!" Grill shouted as he struggled against the weight of the door pinning him down.
"Your life will suffice, for now." The soft sound of her geta clicking against the concrete behind him. The green door pinned down tighter against the floor before sliding off into the distance, leaving a sanguine trail behind it. There was no movement when it stopped. A quiet solitude enveloped the place, the gentle click of her footsteps and the dripping of liquids into puddles below the only perforations to the silence.

A man approached the open doorway cautiously, glancing into the darkened room of the factory. There were some whispers outside, more than just idle chatter. The hushed murmurs carried with them a drip of concern and a care for caution. There were no less than two score men dressed in suits, with tattooes exposed under their colors or above the brow of their sunglasses. One man, with an ornate tattoo brimming from his collar, was quite large. They were thugs for the Devil's Cooks, a gang whose power had begun to eclipse the pretentiously mighty companies that professed to run this town.
His hand reached out and rapped knuckles against the portal entrance, the crack of bone hitting metal echoing in the empty space. The light from outside, cast through the doorway by a lampost outside, cast his long shadow to the center of the room, where a darkened trail abandoned the light and slipped into the darkness to the left. The thug looked curiously at the floor, another trail at his feet. He dared not step into it without investigating first.
"Grill here, Shiso?"
The large man at the vanguard shook his head. "I don't think so." He reached his hand backwards to the men behind him. "Flashlight."
Several of the men, puzzled, looked at each other. Clearly most of them weren't prepared for this situation. A thin man, almost looking smug with himself for planning ahead, stepped forward and pulled for a tool from his coat pocket and confidently laid it in Shiso's hand. Without a word of thanks, Shiso clicked the contraption to life. Or so, he thought he did. He clicked it a few more times. Nothing. He looked back at the thing man, who promptly pointed to a different button on the side. Muttering to himself, Shiso clicked it and shone a pathetically weak light into the room.
The lights were off, the switch by the door inoperable. There were two large, metallic containers that should have contained within them copious amounts of gas, but Shiso wasn't sure about their condition. Scorch marks scarred various locations, it seemed. He shone the light at his feet, realizing that there was a large, dark spot that almost looked like dried paint. He squat down and put his finger on it, testing to see if it was fresh; the factory had been almost immaculate, and so these conditions were conspicuous.
His finger scraped along a rough surface, but underneath the layer of hard film was a fluid with some plasticity remaining. Red, incredibly dark. He lift up his digit and smelled it. Iron. Blood. No need to panic, yet, he assumed, keeping his calm. He raised the light and flashed it around the room, trying to ascertain the situation and, hopefully, get a glimpse of any would be assailant, a culprit, or even a victim.
Nothing.
"Looks like a shoot out. There's blood but I can't tell whose. I'd wager these were our guys." He said as he rose in front of the doorway. "Whoever it was cleaned up the bodies, and Grill hasn't reported in yet. Either he's dead, or they have him," he stated, taking the first step into the room, raising the light again. He was sure there was a breaker on the south wall and, reaching the metal box, he cracked it open and flipped the switch. The light's flickered to life, a dull hum filling the room.
"Damn."
There was blood everywhere, from the looks of it. A lot of it seemed to have dripped from the catwalks, and they appeared the be coated as well. A splat, like a squashed ketchup wrapper missing the wrapper, signified the obvious impact of a body that was now absent. In the distance, to the north, a green metal door was pressed against the wall, a trail of blood drawn from the center of the room to it, as though a body had been pinned beneath it and dragged across the floor. His dress shoes clicked against the concrete floor even as the others began to enter and appraise the situation in rising tones. Some began to raise challenges or curses, or promise revenge. Shiso knew better. This was a hit, this wasn't a turf war. He arrived next to the green door and looked under it, expecting to find nothing. He was not disappointed.
Whoever it was had done a fine job cleaning up the mess and leaving just enough to make an impression. An impression they had made. A chill was sent down Shiso's spine, as though he was being watched. He surveyed the catwalks again, but still nothing. Somewhat satisfied, inasmuch as one could be in such a situation, he turned to the others and began to bark orders. Secure the building, clean up the mess, check the security footage, all the standard procedures. He was sure they'd all be clean, whoever had been here would certainly have left no traces about.
He tossed the tool back to the thin grunt and pulled the cell out of his pocket, dialing Heater. If there was anyone that should know about the situation, it was him. The call rang twice before being picked up, but there was no voice on the other side letting him know he was being listened to. Still, he could sense Heater was there. "It's Shiso, I'm at the gas plant. Looks like someone hit the site, several dead but no bodies. No Grill. He's either dead or hostage."
Silence from the other end. The sort of silence that left a very unpleasant impression. Heater was not happy.
"This wasn't a turf war. There doesn't seem to be any damage to the product, nothing to stop us from getting back. It was a hit, boss," he started to explain his hypothesis when one of the grunts came out onto the catwalk in a hurry.
"Sir, you've got to see this."
Shiso looked unhappy at being interrupted, but knew better than to question one of his guys while he was on an important call. "What is it?" he called back.
"The tapes. They're still here."
Shiso raised both eyebrows in surprise. "I'll call you back," he said into the phone before hanging up. Heater never responded, he only ever listened. It was protocol, it wasn't rude. Shiso hurried into a doorway and up several flights of stairs to the small security office, little more than a closet with monitors.
They were all still active, humming and casting their glow across the room. One of the men covered his mouth in wonder. The other gestured to the feed. "She," he began, almost in surprise, "hit the site a few hours ago."
"She?" Shiso asked. It was unusual, but not impossible, to imagine a woman that was deadly. More to the point, it was a singular pronoun, indicating no accomplices. He stepped in front of the monitors to see for himself.
The first sight he saw of her. It was a vision, to be sure. The camera had perfectly recorded the moment where Grill had opened and subsequently been blown back by the door, the gushing blood of one of their former compatriots. Shiso could almost have grimaced, were he not captivated by the sharp, vicious beauty of the woman that appeared where the man had died. The fight that ensued was over in moments, the guards had never stood a chance. Her rapturous elegance had relieved them of their lives with far more skill than he could have imagined possible. She was, without a doubt, far more powerful than any single individual in the Devil’s Cooks. What did she want from them? Who was she hunting? Why?
The questions burned holes in his head. He left them to linger and dismissed the men. He needed time to think, pouring over the recordings several times more. Everything was as it was, there was no deception; simply raw killing talent. It was clear she had preternatural abilities bordering the supernatural; incredible speed, even manifesting rumored TK, yet it clearly wasn’t a hoax. If she was so capable then, why had the tapes not been touched. How could she be so sloppy? Leaving her face on video would give Heater, Cookfire, and the rest of the Cooks warning enough when they saw her. Maybe that was what she wanted; the thrill of fleeing prey and the excitement of killing those struggling to survive.
She didn’t seem so ruthless. The manner in which she had executed the men had seemed… direct. Without satisfaction. As if it was simply what was natural and to be expected. He turned off the playbacks and pulled the tapes. He’d need to take these directly to Heater himself. Surely, he’d know what to do. His eyes turned to the monitors, now feeding him live recordings throughout the factory. There was so much blood, so much violence in such a brief time span. Two dark camera’s showed him the outside world; one from atop the building and one from above the front door. In the distance, near the corner of the building, on the roof… was there an object there? He tried to remember, but his mind couldn’t focus. He couldn’t make it out, a silhouette itself cast against the specter of the industrial districts’ shadows. Yet, watching it, he felt a familiar chill run down his spine.
There’s no roof access anyways, Shiso reassured himself. He grabbed the tapes and left the security room.

"Hey, you! Are you alive?" A voice rang out, but Zukkah was currently in a drunken sleep, so he was completely still and groaning every so often. The saiyan poked the barbaric looking warrior, but nothing happened. "Quit messing around!" The voice yelled out, then Zukkah quickly leaned up when he felt a pair of hands trying to shake him awake. As the saiyan looked to the man standing beside him, he shot to his feet in almost an instant, then a sheepish smile rose over his face. "It was a rough night." He said, while rubbing the back of his head, as if he had fallen on it not too long ago.
Lottus placed his right hand upon the shoulder of Zukkah and grinned wide. Before the short, spikey haired warrior was able to speak, Zukkah ripped his shoulder away from the hand, then glared toward the saiyan. "Do not touch me. I will rip that arm off if I have to.." Zukkah threatened the saiyan before him, but managed to keep calm, even after being hungover from the night before. His mind was blank, but he felt that something important may have happened during his drunken night. The warrior shook off the odd feeling, then began to step forward to walk away.
As Zukkah made it several feet away, Lottus was confused and had no idea what to think, but the saiyan stopped walking and turned his head just enough to show the eyepatch of the saiyan. "What the hell are you doing out here anyway?" He called out to the thin saiyan, wondering why he was out in the middle of a large forest. Zukkah was beginning to wonder why he was even out there. "Zukkah, what is wrong with you, man? You were perfectly fine last night. You mean, you don't remember anything?" He responded to the saiyan, while folding his arms against his chest.
The words from Lottus caused the saiyan to finally turn and face the warrior, wondering what exactly was going on. "What?! How do you know my name?" He asked in response to Lottus' words. The saiyan was more confused than ever before. Did he really not remember what had happened the night before? Was Zukkah that hungover, or was there something else the saiyan was missing from this all? He had no idea what to think, so he slowly stepped forward and began to look over the thin warrior. Was this a joke and Zukkah being the punchline?
Lottus knew that Zukkah had a hidden rage within, so he backed up and put his hands forward. "Hey man, I mean no harm. We met at the bar with Romanus and a friend of his! How come you do not remember anything?" He asked in a curious tone, hoping the question would hold off Zukkah from bashing his face in. Zukkah instantly stopped dead in his tracks when he heard the name Romanus. He cocked his head a bit, trying to think back to what he remembered last. "Romanus?.. That redheaded saiyan with the mohawk?" He called out to Lottus.
The short haired saiyan began to nod up and down, before letting out any more information. "Nice, man! Yeah, Romanus and yourself were drinking with a friend, then a fight broke out not long after. I jumped in and helped you three kick their ass's! After the bartender was able to get them out, he rewarded us with free drinks for the rest of the night, man!" There was a few minutes of silence, as Zukkah began to ponder on what to do. He was supposed to meet Marjhan in Oolong City. There was a factory near the center of the city with an organization that needed to be dealt with, and Zukkah was more than happy to accept her offer.
As the barbaric saiyan looked to Lottus, a smile began to sweep across his face because the saiyan had a good idea and wanted to see if the warrior was up for a slight mission. "It doesn't matter. Can you fight?" He asked the man as his tail began to sway back and forth, curious to what Lottus would say. The thin man cracked a smirk at what Zukkah had to say, then gave him a nod of approval. "You're asking the man who saved your ass last night!" He said in a jokingly tone of voice. "Hmph! Then follow me." He announced, as he turned to walk down the long dirt trail, that would eventually lead them to Oolong City.
After a bit of talking amongst one another, Zukkah and Lottus made it into the core of the city, but as the two made it to the factory, it seemed that someone had already made a bloodbath at the entrance. The two men stopped and looked at each other, wondering what the hell was going on. "Looks as if someone beat us to the punch.." He called out, as the saiyan stepped over a couple lifeless bodies to enter the factory. Lottus followed the saiyan and kept his guard up because he had a feeling that they would be fighting soon as well.
Zukkah and Lottus stepped into the factory and noticed immediately that Marjhan had made her presence known with how many bodies she had disposed of. "She is here. But where?" He called out to the saiyan beside him, but remained focused on the dead men and women upon the floor. There was so much blood, yet nobody in their sight. At least, that's how it was for the time being and there was nothing Zukkah or Lottus could do, besides continue on through the rather large factory.

Zukkah and his compatriot had arrived shortly before Shiso and the thugs of the Devil's Cooks, and as such Marjhan had no difficulty intercepting them. There was no issue for her to resolve the situation at the factory; there were not enough people to be concerned with, and she considered it little more than a probing attack or intelligence gathering mission. They withdrew to the roof, where Marjhan debrief Zukkah on the occurrences. One of ten dead, nine more to go; they would not be here at the factory. Instead, Marjhan expected to follow the thugs themselves to the rat's lair. And, indeed, they arrived and departed in turn. The trio, Marjhan, Zukkah, and Lottus would meet with another Saiyan named Romanus in a coffee shop adjacent to the skyscraper containing the targets. Marjhan had no need for coffee. Instead, this was simply the easiest place to observe and initiate an assault. The one she'd monitored, a Saiyan thug, had lead them here. When Romanus arrived, they would begin their assault. Certainly, there was nothing nine humans could do to withstand the assault of four Saiyans. She'd begin to teach this world what pure, Saiyan mastery was, and potentially enlighten her newfound compatriots about the duties and honors of their birthright. RomanusWC = 211 / 3971

Out of the Pan into the Fire (Part 1) "I was just a Saiyan thug, but now I take the path of our ancestors, the path of the Saiyan Warrior. Now I become death, ravager of worlds!" Episode Details {Spoiler} Episode: Out of the Pan into the Fire (7 Star Mission). Personal Saga: Scumbag Chronicles. Important PC/NPC's: Marjhan(PC), Zukkah(PC), Romanus(PC). Location: Oolong City
Romanus Intro | The Winery Dogs "Oblivion" {Spoiler}
(Oolong City) Romanus shaded in the illuminated night behind a billboard labeled Oolong Casino overlooking the human urban jungle including the coffee shop shadowy figure could be barley seen as he reached into his trench coat and pulled out a pack of cigarettes and fumbling around pulled one single out and put the pack back from once it came.
"Tch, so a bunch of Saiyans wanna start some noise eh?" He mumbled to himself thinking, He was friends with Zukkah and had been acquainted with Lotus so it was not like all of them were complete strangers. But he was supposed to meet up with three Saiyans which meant there was one he knew nothing about.
He lite his smoke with his index finger burning with red ki then once his it caught he snapped his hand causing his index finger with the small burning torch of red ki to flicker out leaving red sparks of ki flying through the darkness like fire flies dancing through the air night air.
"What the fuck kinda people meet up at a coffee shop at night? This sounds like a set up maybe Zukkah was trusting enough to get himself set up by the Devil's Cooks Gang. Well not me man.." he said taking a drag of his smoke as it glowed before exhaling a cloud of smoke.
The Saiyan peaked behind the dark said of the colorfully illuminated billboard looking down at the coffee shop, of course it being night there were not many people there it was probably getting ready to close up which would make it easier to spot them if they entered.
Romanus had worked for the Avado Clan and survived long enough in the Saiyan criminal organization not to trust people so easily, there seemed to be no honor left even in the scattered remnants of the Saiyans who now lived on Earth.
They had been in Rom's mind corrupted by the human society and he often thought of his ancestors of being honorable warriors of a bygone era in what he was told as a kid, that didn't matter anymore to a Saiyan like Rom who had adapted to use his Saiyan warrior brutality to make a living as a enforcer of the Avado Clan.
Romanus eyed the coffee shop with a grin thinking as she flicked his cigarette to the ground a stomped it out with his boot. Zukkah and Lotus will serve one purpose, if they had been set up the fools would be the bait for Rom to get the drop on them once they all realized he was missing. If it was a trap then the red mohawk Saiyan was sure a fight would break out as the Devil's Cook Gang made their move and if it wasn't a set up he imagined the three Saiyans looking around for him signaling to him that this was legit.
"Yeah, I think I'll just stay right up here tell they show up," he thought to himself imagining the worst case scenario, if it was a trap he would blow the whole damn coffee shop up with a Rom Burner ki blast finding that idea fun.
The Saiyan as he waited to see what would happened had made up his mind that if Zukkah and Lotus were naive enough to trust any Saiyan woman who maybe a double agent for the Devil's Cook Gang then maybe they didn't deserve to live as he daydreamed the scenario playing out.
Some traitorous mystery woman would bring Zukkah and Lotus into the coffee shop right before 10, 20, no 30 Devil's Cook Gang members show up surrounding the coffee shop. Rom imagined the Saiyan woman turncoat thinking she was so clever,
"Oh I'll show her clever," he muttered snickering in the shadows thinking about how he would reveal himself above them on the tall building aiming his right hand like a gun glowing with powerful red ki as he fired killing everybody in a massive explosion that would rock the city block.
(Romanus) "Hell yeah, I'll blow everybody up in one shot! That will teach the Devil's Cook Gang to try to trick me!" He said getting so excited in his daydreaming thoughts that he almost forgot that it was only a possibility as he continued to wait to see of things played out like in his twisted mind or if the tree Saiyans were legitimately wanting to meet.
Time would tell.....

Zukkah may have been a careless saiyan, but he sensed that he could potentially trust Romanus and Marjhan. With the woman briefing the barbaric warrior on what was to happen, Lottus, Marjhan, and Zukkah found themselves in a small coffee shop, located across from a large skyscraper and a casino, that almost seemed to be connected together. That alone was a red flag, but the saiyan paid no attention to his surroundings at the time, Lottus and himself followed the thug inside the coffee shop as instructed. "This place is a dump, but what should I expect when coming to a shithole city like this one." He muttered to himself, as they entered the shop.
Lottus could say the same about this coffee shop, but the saiyan grew up just a few blocks from their exact location. He glanced toward the saiyan, giving him a cold stare before scanning around the small shop, until he spotted the familiar looking female saiyan. "Zukkah, we aren't here to enjoy ourselves. Just stick to the plan and listen to what this woman has to say." He then moved a bit to his left, revealing where Marjhan was sitting. The saiyan stiffened up a bit at the sight of the female, but remained calm and took a few steps forward, while pushing Lottus aside.
"Hey man, what's the big deal? Do you really have to be such an asshole all the time?" He called out to Zukkah and watched as the saiyan leaned down, with his hands upon the table. Zukkah ignored the thin saiyan and stared at the woman for a brief moment, before speaking up to Marjhan. "So, what's the plan? Romanus should be here by now, but there is no sign of him.." He announced to the woman, while continuing to stare Marjhan down.
Zukkah and Lottus both knew very little of this woman or even the Devil's Cooks gang, but he was a warrior of loyalty and honor, so he would do whatever Marjhan and Romanus asked of him. Whoever these thugs were, Zukkah was going to prove to Marjhan and Rom that he is worthy enough to fight alongside them both. Lottus on the other hand knew of the terror the gang and was skeptical about the entire situation, but with four saiyans and nine humans, the task shouldn't be all that hard, or should it?

Marjhan had been observing the place for some time. A cold coffee sat in front of her, but she held herself in her seat with such disinterest towards the disgusting liquid that the cover was obviously false to anyone that spent more than a minute watching her. Fortunately, very few of these sickening Earthlings sustained such mental capacities. She had pondered for a time how such savage creatures would consider to boil and drink whatever disgusting beans made such mud-substance. Marjhan would sooner wade through her own faeces than press her lips to coffee. Zukkah finally arrived and approached her. Before he had the chance to sit, Marjhan noticed the flicker of a cigarette in the distance, a glowing beacon she had been watching for some time. The man behind the thin, burning roll of paper was obviously a Saiyan. She could see a proud and noble atmosphere about him, something which set him apart from the others. She had been here for some time, and she had observed many of those who went in and out. She had spotted a Saiyan among them, as well, but the pathetic lieutenants of this gang had seemed not to take notice of his pedigree. Little wonder they would never rise to greatness. "You're here," she stated flatly, her eyes acknowledging each Saiyans presence in kind. Her face would not deign express kindness, but her eyes conveyed at least respect. She nodded towards a car parked in front of the office structure, then to the casino, and finally to the building itself. "Let us begin. Your friend will be here soon, I assume. Every Saiyan yearns for a good battle to test themselves in, it will not take him much time to join us." She proceeded out the door, followed shortly by the two Saiyans she had spoken to. No doubt they were confused. That confusion would dissipate in a moment. A man stepped out of the car. She recognized him, a Saiyan. He turned and faced her, his face almost seeming to behold a smile. As she thought. Another Saiyan who longed for battle. She would save him for last. "There she is!" the Saiyan shouted, in an almost expected and rehearsed fashion, before swiftly falling back into the building. A number of men, yakuza of sorts dressed in suits with tattoo's creeping from under their collars, took notice of Marjhan and her Saiyan companions. All manners of blaster rifles and pistols were drawn in short order. A massive volley of fire surged towards them and, with a flash of her fan, erupted against an invisible barrier cast between herself, her compatriots, and their foes. A smile crossed her face, one reserved only for the pleasure of battle. She unfurled her tail from its seat wrapped around her waist, taking pride in that which made her different. Which made her stronger than these fools. "Be thankful," she grunted to Zukkah and Lottus, "the strong grow stronger through battle. We go in the front door, eliminate these pretenders, in one direct strike. We will show this city who to bow before." She flicked her wrist, a vibrant band of red light rippling forward like a scimitar from the blades of the tessen, the might of will and mind manifested through ki. The red blade cut through the air and swiftly severed the heads of several thugs in one blow. Their necks burst like geysers, struggling to gush until their bodies meekly collapsed and slowly thrashed. She proceeded towards the front door slowly and with the confidence of an invincible warrior.

Out of the Pan into the Fire (Part 2) "I was just a Saiyan thug, but now I take the path of our ancestors, the path of the Saiyan Warrior. Now I become death, ravager of worlds!"
Romanus Intro | The Winery Dogs "Oblivion"
Romanus observed the scene below close enough to make out Zukkah, Lotus and who he guessed was the mystery woman who wanted to meet with them. "Hmmm, maybe this wasn't a trick," Rom thought to himself getting himself so worked up with him imagining it being a trap that he was almost disappointing he would be able to blow up the coffee shop in one spectacular shot.
The Saiyan thug could see that they were stating to converse in the coffee shop and the red mohawk Saiyan sighed realizing he may have been overly paranoid , but then the Saiyan caught the sounds of other men approaching surrounding the building exactly how he imagined.
"Ah see! It was a trap the whole time," the Saiyan grinned turning shaping his right hand like a gun as he started to charge red ki on his index finger gathering ki for his destructing Rom Burner attack. His shooting hand started to him as he ran in front of the 'Oolong Casino' billboard with his right foot elevated on the ledge looking down.
"Zukkah you damn fool you trust too easily!" He said with a twisted look aiming his right hand like a gun charged with his red ki aura before something held him back from firing, maybe he liked Zukkah more than he thought as a friend, maybe he wanted to get in the mix of battle instead of blindsiding them all with a overpowered ki blast or maybe he wanted to interrogate the woman to get more information?
Whatever the case his shooting hand stopped glowing, "dammit your going to owe me Zukkah for this one!" He growled jumping up high in the air and then coming down hard smashing the roof of a taxi cab parked next to the coffee shop, the Saiyan aimed his right hand as a gun firing off small disciplined bursts of ki to cut down them tattooed gunman noticing that the women was killing them too with her fan blades.
"Well that's interesting, maybe she is on our side," Rom said as his red ki blasts shot through the glass windows and through the walls hitting the enemy targets catching the fully by surprise as it seemed the Saiyans had ambushed the ambushers.

There were so many different questions the saiyan wanted answered, but it seemed that those questions would have to wait for a later time. With Marjhan responding to Zukkah, he pushed away from the table, then gave the female a slight nod. They were there and ready to do as she asked, even Lottus had a slight smirk upon his face, as if he was ready to battle there and then. This caused Zukk to realize just how important this mission was, so he turned and watched as Marjhan began to walk outside. The saiyan warrior looked over to Lottus and gave him a nod, before walking forward to make it outside.
As Zukkah and Lottus made their way outside the small coffee shop, they stopped dead in their tracks as they saw a saiyan exit a vehicle and shout out toward them. Obviously, Marjhan was recognized by the saiyan, but the man rushed into the building behind him. When he shouted, it alerted the enemies nearby. which caused them to begin opening fire upon each of the warriors that stood across the street. Within a split second, Marjah was able to conjure up an invisible barrier that kept them all protected from the bullets being sprayed at them.
With a look of surprise on the face of Zukkah and Lottus, it seemed that Marjhan was much stronger than the both of them realized. As she spoke to Zukkah directly, he listened to each word she had said and couldn't help but to agree with her. The female was right, they had to keep fighting and surviving, in order to grow stronger. The saiyan clenched his fist and gave the woman a sadistic smirk, before responding to what she had ordered. "They don't stand a chance against us." He said to her, then realized that Romanus was standing on top of a broken taxicab.
Lottus looked back and forth, then took a few steps forward to get a better look at their current situation. Just as the saiyan was about to speak up to the group, the sound of ki blast flew right by their heads, aimed directly at the group of enemies in front of them. One by one, the group began to drop to the streets in front of them. Zukkah knew what the main goal was, so he flew forward to get closer to the entrance to the large skyscraper. As he closed the distance, two men jumped in front of the door and began to open fire at the saiyan.
Zukkah weaved out of the way of the incoming bullets, then threw a massive elbow strike to the one on his left, followed by a swift kick toward the jaw of the one of the right. Both dropped to the ground unconscious from the assault. The saiyan landed at the front of the doors and waited for the others to get in gear. Lottus saw that Romanus was able to finish off most of the crew with his fierce crimson ki blast. It was a beautiful display of fireworks, which caused Zukkah to become eager. The warrior needed blood and wanted to keep going, so that he could satisfy his cravings..

Out of the Pan into the Fire (Part 3) "I was just a Saiyan thug, but now I take the path of our ancestors, the path of the Saiyan Warrior. Now I become death, ravager of worlds!"
Romanus Intro | The Winery Dogs "Oblivion"
1 Day Later.......
With Marjhan, Zukkah and Lottus working together the ambushers became the prey as they were cut down in short order in the coffee house, the violence Marjhan's Saiyan group had brought down on Oolong City and the Devil's Cook Gang had put the city on edge. In short order the Oolong City Police has arrived on scene and the Saiyan female leader sporting her fan blades order then to withdraw for now their meeting crashed by the doomed gunman goons of the Devils Cooks Gang. Romanus sat at a table at a hotel in the West part of Oolong City that was owned by sympathetic Saiyan business owners in the city who seemed for whatever reason compelled to them sanctuary while the heat from the Oolong City Police and Devils Cook Gang was red hot, they would be looking for this new force that had been causing trouble in sin city for that Rom was sure of as he waited for Zukkah and Lottus to join him. "Where the fuck is Marjhan, she should be here. Did she decide to bail out on us after all this?" He wondered to himself as he reached for a item under his left breast plate of his Saiyan armor under his trenchcoat with his right arm. He took out a flask full of some cheap whisky and was about to take a swig of some when somebody entered the room. "Really, Do you have oh so little faith in or leader Romanus?" An unfamiliar female voice rang out at him as she turned eying the stranger seeing it was a short woman with green hair and eyes to match as the Saiyan holding his flask full of whisky blinked wondering who she was. "So who the hell are you supposed to be? And how do you know my name!" Rom demanded suspicious of her. "I am one of Marjhan's trusted Saiyan warriors to help carry out her orders in her absence," she said folding her hands at the rather rude Saiyan who sat asking her such questions. "Also you shouldn't be drinking on the job," she added with a look of disapproval. "Listen lady, I will drink if I want to and secondly, why can't our fearless big brained leader finish what she started!" Romanus said standing to his feet demanding answers, he had risked everything and believed in her and now she was gone like that? This was outrageous and his anger grew by the minute. The green haired woman closed her eyes and searched Rom's feelings, "I sense that you fear being abandoned by our leader and it would hurt you...you have much anger like a storm masking your more hidden feeli...." she was cut off as Romanus rushed her in a rage. "Shut up you don't know me lady! And you better cut that out or you will regret it!" He growled point a finger at her as his index finger lite a flame of red ki at the tip of his finger. (NPC: Olive) "I can sense people's feelings Romanus its one of my specialities, so I know you are bluffing, I have answers you need you feel lost at the moment and need questions answered yes?" She said with an cocky smirk as she waved her hand glowing in green ki and extinguished Rom's threatening burning finger like it was nothing as the gangster Saiyan realized she had somehow smothered out his burning finger in an instant as his eyes widened. "How the yell did you do that?" He said looking at his index finger igniting it again, she somehow was able to cancel out his ki for a moment or disrupted its flow Rom what the he could guess. "I will tell you everything if you would just please sit down and wait for Zukkah and Lottus to join us" she said politely jestering him to sit. Whoever this girl was she already knew who Lottus and Zukkah were he was sure Marjhan must of told her about them most likely. (Romanus) "Tch, fine but I expect answers once they get here" Romanus said as he walked and sat back down still somewhat annoyed but also curious about the woman and her explanation for Marjhan's abrupt departure.

After the crew retreated from the Cooks Gang and the Oolong city Police, Zukkah and Lottus found themselves within a Casino west of the bright lights of Oolong city. The warriors were sitting at a blackjack table, trying their best to get lucky and win some Zeni for their next adventure. Possibly even buy a ship to get them off of Planet Earth, or new armor to help them in battle. Either way, the saiyan's were enjoying themselves after the little skirmish with the Cooks Gang and their goons.
The dealer was currently shuffling a deck of cards, while Lottus and Zukkah looked to each other and grinned. "Like, good luck, man! Don't get too drunk tonight, Zukk. We have to meet Romanus in the hotel after this next hand, alright?" He said to him, while the dealer was just standing there watching the two talk, while continuing to shuffle the deck of cards in his hands. Zukkah kept the grin on his face as he heard his comrade speak up of what they were to do next. "Romanus has proven himself to be useful, you on the other hand, meh.." He responded, then picked up his bottle of beer and chugged it down.
The dealer threw down the cards to each of them, plus cards for himself. Blackjack was all about luck and knowing when to hold. Zukkah had never done this type of stuff because of how he was raised, but the saiyan has been enjoying himself ever since meeting Romanus, Lottus, and even Marjhan. There was a bond the saiyans had that kept them together for the time being, but Zukkah wanted to get stronger and that could happen much faster in a group, so that was the main reason he would stick around.
As both Zukkah and Lottus lost their Zeni they bet in blackjack, they knew it was over and time to head back to the hotel for a good night's sleep. Once the two saiyans left the casino and made their way down the street, Zukkah and Lottus had never gotten along, but the thin warrior pushed Zukkah in a playful manner, before speaking up to him. "Heh man, it was nice that we've been getting along better y'know?" He said to the barbaric saiyan with a slight grin upon his lips. Zukkah was unsure what to make of it, so he just shrugged a bit, before saying anything back to Lottus. "Don't get all emotional on me, Lottus. We're here to do a job. A damn good one. There is no need to get close and feel special, you are just another saiyan who can be replaced tomorrow. " He responded to Lottus, before opening the door to the hotel.
Zukkah stepped inside the building without paying any attention to Lottus or what he would have to say in response, but the saiyan easily spotted Romanus across the room, except he was speaking with a green haired woman. He was unsure who the woman was, but Zukkah approached them both anyway. As they reached the table, the saiyan looked to Rom, then the unfamiliar woman. "Already flirting with the locals? Anyway, who is the pretty lady, Rom?" He asked, as he and Lottus both took a seat down at the table.

As Romanus sat down at the chair kicking his feet up and leaning back putting his flask of booze on the table and started to lite a cigarette with a burning red spark from his index finger the green haired Saiyan girl sat down on the other side in a more proper manner setting fully up and resting her hands ringers inter locked forming a two handed ball she daintily rested on the table with a smile at Romanus glad that the thug of a Saiyan could somewhat be politely told what to do, now she wondered underneath her smile if the others Zukkah and Lottus could be persuaded to continue the Oolong City job. It wasn't usually like her leader Marjhan to just go absent, but she left in a hurry as her Saiyan faction operations were not isolated to Oolong City, the ambitious woman plans were much more grand than that. Olive knew she didn't have such eloquent of words as the faction leader's mastermind, but she hoped she could win over the male Saiyans with her own powers, detective skills and feminine charm. She would need those things, as if that didn't work she may have to show them her more Saiyan side she keep hidden often with her more polite demeanor she often likes to portray as a lady. Rom glanced away from Olive as she smiled closing his eyes to lite his cigarette, the girl was cute and her charm made Rom a bit uncomfortable given the circumstances of their leader leaving and Olive strange powers. Suddenly the door swung open and Zukkah and the shorter Lottus appeared as Rom and Olive looked over at them, "Oh right on time" she said getting up to greet the two of the Saiyans while Romanus didn't even bother just taking a hard hit on his cigarette. Zukkah spoke up wondering who the green haired Saiyan girl in an all black wardrobe was exactly, "Already flirting with the locals? Anyway, who is the pretty lady, Rom?" "What!? Stop joking around, why don't you ask her," Rom said looking away blushing and annoyed as he looked out the window and took another puff of his smokes. Olive glances over for a moment at Romanus' with a smirk, she didn't need to use her powers to know he might be blushing most woman could tell when men acted in certain ways meaning they maybe attracted to them. Her green eyes gazed back at Zukkah who was much taller than her petite size and then at Lettu with a warm smile though her eyes gave off a hint she was much dangerous or sinister than what meet the eye by her well mannered behavior. "It's nice to finally meet you two, Marjhan has told me much about you two," she explained hinting that their leader might not be present at the moment. "Please take a seat, I will explain everything, consider me Marjhan's messenger" she said trying to seem humble as possible masking the fact that she was really here to ensure the three Saiyans finish the job with no screw ups. After all Zukkah, Romanus and Lettu were new to Marjhan's Saiyan faction, they had proven somewhat useful, but their full potential, loyalty and relaibility still remained to be determined. She would wait for them to settle in at the table so everything could be explained and their plans can move forward.

As Romanus threw his feet up and lit a cigarette with the tip of his finger, using the red ki to burn brightly enough to burn the smoke just enough to get it started, Zukkah looked to him and was still feeling a bit buzzed, but the cigarette was smelling amazing for some reason. "Come on, Romanus. Let me get one of those." He called out to the saiyan, while looking toward the green haired woman with a serious expression on his face.
Zukkah had no idea who she was or what her intentions were, so he would sit back and listen to every word they would have to say. Whether or not her plan sounded like it would work, Zukkah had this major urge to keep obtaining strength, so he would do what Marjhan, Romanus, and Lottus would feel is best for them in the long run. There was no reason to rush into anything, but something had to be done about the Cook's Gang. They were a ruthless bunch, that seemed to take over almost every casino in Oolong City, but things were going to change because Zukkah had a feeling their mission would be a success.
"Hey, man! I think you should calm down, Zukkah. Listen to what she has to say ma--" He stopped speaking just as Zukkah slowly turned his attention to Lottus with his one eye staring deeply into the soul of the thin warrior. "Fool, do you not see that our lives are at stake here? Do you have a family? Friends? Do you want to see them again? Then shut the fuck up and use your senses and question this woman. For all we know, she could be a spy for the Cook's Gang!" He called out to them all, looking to Romanus, Lottus, then back to the green haired woman.
There was obviously some tension in the room, but Zukkah was just looking out for himself and his fellow comrades because at the end of all this they were all he had left, unless he wanted to go back to his mother and father, who would probably never forgive him for running away like he did. As he stared the female down, the serious expression turned into more of a smirk. "There are three of us and only one of you, so you will tell us the truth and give us all the information we need to take down those fuckers." He said in a firm tone of voice, but kept his dark coal eyes on hers.

Enter Olive the Reader Saiyan Part 2
Zukkah seemed to like the smell of chemicals coming off of the Saiyan thug's smokes as he asked for one. "Huh, you want one? Alright..." Rom said with a smirk reaching into his trench coat and sliding the pack of cigarettes over too Zukkah on the table as Olive green eyes watched the pack of death sticks for a moment with an expression of disgust at those things and not really enjoying the 2nd hand smoke all that much kept a professional composure none the less not complaining about such trivial annoyances when their leader Marjhan was counting on her to keep the Saiyan team together. It seemed Zukkah was getting frustrated as she spoke up angry while Lottus tried and failed to calm him down as Romanus eyebrow raised up surpised to see him get so angry, usually that was Rom's job while Olive sat there calmly with her hands still folded on the table. Olive expression changed to annoyance at even the thought of being assocaited with the Devil's Cooks gang, "I can assure you that I am apart of Marjhan's Saiyan organization see..." She said as something moved under her black dress by her waist and then snaked through the air wiggling around, it was her saiyan tale! (NPC: Olive) "Some of us like to hide our tails, it maybe seen as dishonorable to some of the more proud among our race, but it does help conceal our identity, truth be told we Saiyan's have many enemies who would like to keep us down and disunited." she said as her tail coiled and vanished back up her dress hidden her black loose clothes helping to conceal it. Olive could sense Zukkah's frustration and Lottus' fear of this turning into a unnecessary fight as she choose her words carefully. "The truth is you are getting involved in much more than just a simple job of eliminating the Devil Cooks gang. That is why our leader Marjhan had to leave so abruptly and sent me to help as her replacement. My name is Olive, but some clal me the Saiyan Reader as I can sense people's feelings and intentions. Matter of fact I am often used to expose those in Marjhan's Saiyan movement who maybe infiltrators, spies or disloyal." She explained. "I don't sense disloyalty in you Zukkah, just confusion and anger like Romanus, mixed in with feelings of ambition like any true Saiyan should feel," she said turning too Lottus, and I sense fear in you Lottus that you feel in over your head? I am right aren't I? She said revealing her powers and importance in Marjhan's organization. "You want the real truth? We are going to kill the members of the Devil's Cooks gang as a means to an end and I am here to make sure you three get the job done. All over the Earth those loyal to Marjhan's cause are conducting missions like us to gather enough resources and Saiyan Warriors loyal to the cause revive the Saiyan Army to take over this world. To create a New Planet Vegeta!" She added revealing the true plans of Marjhan's plans. "Marjhan trusted you with this mission, she saw the potential in you and invited you to join in this conquest. I will trust you the question is will you trust me in her place for now? My powers should prove to be very useful for this mission." She said. Romanus eyes widened and jaw dropped as his smoke feel out of his mouth falling to the floor, while he had imagined their leader had big plans he never imagined them being this big, were they really going to take on the whole world, while there was a part of the young Saiyan warrior who thought they were in over there heads, there was another part of him that couldn't help but crave such a challenge. Romanus grinned and then chuckled, "taking on the whole world huh? Well I guess if were gonna go big why not go all in..." He said already way too deep in this to really have a choice anyways, what the hell was he supposed to do? Now he was enemies with the Devil's Cooks Gang who was looking for them around the city and he was sure his former Saiyan gangster employers the Avado Clan would be looking for him as well soon for deserting them. (Romanus) "Well I have nothing to lose and everything to gain all I care about is gaining my Zenkai blood right, I will become the strongest Saiyan warrior and help bring about this so called New Planet Vegeta," Romanus said with a bit of a sarcastic tone. Olive could sense Romanus had a burning desire to fight and his cold expression with a sinister smile that hinted he was seeking more of the combat than high ideals it seemed. She could sense it as well, that was just fine with Olive they would need Saiyan's like Romanus to carry out violent acts that were not for the feint of heart. Olive looked over again at Lotus and Zukkah to see what they would say, Romanus was also interested in what the two of them would do.

[3,572] After leaving Will O’ Wisp and Riku in Duchess Melody’s permanent residence with her personal assistant Portobello to aid the injured martial artists, BoarChores reached out to her about missing delivery personnel that all ended up at a particular warehouse according to the gps trackers, it affected all the duchies who had a momentary stake in this application for c-phone users. While she had every desire to head home, wondering if Cress went back to Truffle village, she still had her duty as Duchess to perform.
Little did she know, the personnel in question were all part of the devil’s cook gang, using the guise of the application to secure their rapport in dissolving the competitive restaurants for their own business ventures, and some of them were being killed off by a particular saiyan by the name of Romanus a couple of days ago; who she had been looking for the very same evening until Koma chased him off from the Red Rooster Gambling Hall. It was an unseen gang war between the saiyans claiming superficial territory with the devil’s cooks, there were bounties on both of these groups, and anyone involved would be added to the growing list.
Upon arrival of the warehouse, there were signs of blood, but no bodies were anywhere to be found, nor were the c-phones that were last traced here. With a sigh, the green haired blade master listened in to the black orb that she was cursed with explaining the death that had occurred here, and that the perpetrators behind it were long gone from the city. It was unfortunate that the samurai that gave chase after Romanus lost track of him, she would have claimed the victory for herself if she only knew Saiyans were cowards in this city, and while they all committed rampant crimes hiding in the shadows of their black network to remain elusive to repercussions enforced by the duchies.
Rather than look for any evidence of where they might have escaped to, she wrote a formal report on her c-phone connected to her modified power level scouter, which would be sent to the duchies and the Grand Dukes. [478] [4,050] Mission Complete.
