Appearance: From his highly stylized World Government uniform, it's no guess to say that Shou loves to keep up with his fashion trends. Even in his off-time, he always makes sure to stay ahead of the latest fashion trends, ensuring that all the attention he gets would continuously manage to stroke that ever so high ego of his. The rest of his body gets just as much love as his prim and proper clothing as well; not a single strand of his is ever out of place unless he's just finished with an intense fight, and his teeth shine so bright you might even risk getting blinded from looking at them. As a highly trained warrior that prefers to be aggressive with his fighting, it's also no surprise that he sports such an athletic body, blessed by genetics to be born with an intimidating height of 6'2. He possesses cold cerulean eyes and stark raven hair.
Personality: It is quite obvious from even a first glance that Shou is incredibly confident in himself from the way he walks, and to the way he carries himself in general. Often, the confidence borders into arrogance as he believes himself an amazingly gifted individual, and while he may be certainly correct from a statistical point of view, this arrogance sometimes gets him into messes that he has to get himself out of. Though lately, he's been recognizing how his tendency to underestimate others only leads to trouble, and while he'll always love himself and think highly of his actions, he's starting to admit he can be wrong and at least has the intelligence to start to take a step back from things and analyzing for the purpose of achieving his victory...just so he can gloat about it later. It's no surprise then that in fights he's winning, he has a very nasty habit of taunting and egging on his opponents, though he isn't the type of person to draw battles out purposely.
He is an extremely cunning individual, one that lacks any type of honor and is willing to lie freely. Rather than be on the wrong side of the law, Shou recognizes what type of power he possesses and could obtain in the future working with the world government, and to that end uses the resources of the government for his own goals of obtaining absolute power over the world and vanquish any threats that might come to both his reign and the safety of the planet he desires to conquer. There's almost no one he isn't willing to stab in the back if it means furthering his own goals, and most people are just chess pieces for him to move around until he achieves that "checkmate". While most Martial Artists usually have some type of code in battle they're willing to follow, Shou personally finds such ideas silly, and his general motto of "Do whatever it takes to win." applies in no other area more than in a fight. Whether its throwing dirt in someone's eyes, hitting them below the belt, holding hostages, or faking a surrender to get an opening, he has zero qualms about achieving victory in the most efficient way possible, which unfortunately for those who find themselves bound to an honor code, usually involves him taking advantage of it. However, despite making it a point to finish fights as quickly and efficiently as possible, he does enjoy the adrenaline rush he gets from fighting people...like any real warrior would.
Despite how his arrogance and cunning nature can make him seem less than human, Shou can make his trusted friends like anyone, preferring them to possess an incredibly high intellect similar to his own than anything else. While he maintains a tough exterior, Shou is far from stoic, and can crack jokes(usually at the expense of someone else through some form of sarcasm) like anyone else. Surprisingly enough, he also has a perverse nature that he only barely manages to hide for the sake of keeping up nature, and in his off-time from working towards world domination, he's often spending some time with a random fling of the day. He also has somewhat of a soft spot when it comes to socializing with children; it isn't enough to stop him from beating the stuffing out of one if it came down to it, but he's far more patient with one and willing to take one under his wing than anyone else. His goals for world domination aren't necessarily solely just to stroke his ego and have all the power in the world, either. While that's a healthy portion of it, Shou genuinely believes that with the entire world united instead of separated into different factions and him in charge, it would be a far more effective future for everyone living on it.
History: An arrogant, cunning person like Shou is often thought to have an interesting childhood with various twists and turns. Truth be told, there really isn't much of a 'reason' for why Shou's personality is the way it is, mostly. He was simply born like this. Often times in life, the most basic, simplistic answer is the correct one. Still, if there was one facet of his personality he inherited from his experiences and upbringing, it has to be his sense of justice...however twisted and over the edge it is. Inspired by the tales of his father's heroics before he retired as a World Government worker, from a young age Shou already found his drive to surpass his father's achievements tenfold over, inheriting his disdain for those that cruelly pick on the weak and defenseless. While those values were heroic enough, it was seeing just how fractured and divided the world really was from his time in school, to watching the news for it to really settle in that perhaps the World Government needed to rule with an iron fist.
He spent practically all of his youth living on the base with his parents, learning how things worked from a distance and getting the idea of how his duties would be dealt with when he actually became a government agent. Besides the occasional dates with women, Shou never really bonded with anyone from his school, considering them all to be nothing more than people he could use, or just generally so far below his intelligence that they weren't even worth breathing in his direction let alone holding a conversation. Instead, as he grew up Shou built a camaraderie with soldiers that were often much older than him, tempering his personality as someone who was wiser beyond his years.
And, as confident in his abilities as he was, he saw no reason why he couldn't be that fist. Of course, he wasn't insane enough to think he was ready to unify the entire world and rule over it all on his own just yet. To that end, he sought to hone his abilities tirelessly, going through the same rigorous training and beyond his father did, joining the very same organization he was once apart of. While he's most certainly a fresh face on the scene, Shou is ready to make his name in the world ten times over.
RP Sample: Polishing his blade to clean off the blood and grime that stained it, Shou looks down upon the fallen group of bandits in front of him with nothing more than complete and utter disdain. "Garbage like you couldn't even last five seconds against me. What was the point of wasting your lives attacking people if you aren't even good at it?" Ultimately, they were nothing more than a minor annoyance in his real goal for the day, but the fact that they had the audacity to waste his time by existing was nonetheless a nuisance. A lob of saliva ejects from his mouth, colliding against the face of one of those foolish enough to try and face him, mixing in with the crimson liquids that adorned his face. This thug's final seconds in his miserable, good for nothing life was one of sheer terror and unyielding fear as he watched his comrades be cut down one by one without any signs of Shou stopping. The look in his eyes was as plain as day, after all. "They should be thankful I prefer to get rid of people quickly unless they've proven to be a particularly thorny pain in my side..." He huffs, keeping his blade drawn as he heads further down the beaten path that lied ahead of him. In the distance? A grand castle, one that often looked like something you'd see in a fairy tale. But, it wouldn't be so grand for much longer.
Taiga. A fat bastard of a mob boss that specialized in human trafficking, who quite frankly brought down the mortal level of the universe they lived in with each and every breath he took. Even with as much evidence as the local authorities had, none of them bothered to arrest him because of either fear, incompetence, corruptness, or some unholy combination of the three. Perhaps after he was done here he would go and "reshuffle" this village's pathetic excuse for a police force, but for now? Shou was far more concerned with cutting him down before his toxic influence could spread. The mob boss possessed the fortune of being able to sneak under the radar for the World Government all this time, but karma eventually caught up to everyone. As fate would have it, he would be the one to dish out the vengeance of karma for all the lives Taiga managed to rob away all too early.
Shou was justice.
He was the truth.
There was absolutely nothing in this world that would change that.
He quickly arrives in front of the castle doors, two guards brandishing their blades...before ruthlessly being cut down, a waterfall of crimson erupting from their necks as Shou slashes their throats open with a single stroke of his blade. They die quickly, painlessly, and most importantly, pointlessly. "To think, he's so comfortable with his current life, committing these atrocities that he doesn't even bother having much security anymore. What an idiot..." The door is kicked down violently and swiftly, leading to the discovery of more bandits just as weak as all the others he murdered. Even as fast as he was mowing through the scum of the world though, he couldn't help but crack a small smile solely because of the adrenaline coursing through his body. The only thing that came close to the rush of adrenaline from a fight was being with a beautiful woman.
"Does this dumbass have a death wish or somethin'!? Let's kick his ass!" He knew damn well that not a single one of them could lay even a scratch on his body, but it was always fun to bask in the ignorance of the lesser right before he cut them down in a matter of moments. As he prepared himself for the ruthless curbstomp he was about to deliver, the ground quakes slightly as massive footsteps make their presence known. "Out of the way, idiots!" Standing at a ridiculous ten feet, Shou could only guess he was looking at the head honcho for this group of fools. "So, this is the guy I heard has been causin' trouble all day, huh?! Doesn't look too impressive. I think the reason this dumbass is smilin' is because he's trying to hide the fact that he's about to pee his pants! Get out of my presence and DIE!" The hulking brute charges forward, wielding a massive hammer almost as large as he was and swinging downwards with all of his might. "There hasn't been a single man in the world who's lasted more than ten seconds against me! I've never lost a fight in my li-" His boasting was cut off short by Shou casually blocking the hammer strike with merely the tip of his katana, the small grin on his face quickly growing to a sadistic smile.
"So much energy wasted with each and every step you took. I was hoping you'd be at least good enough for a warm-up from such an intimidating presence, but when I saw you had the martial knowledge of a two year old from the way you swung your weapon, I guess I just lost all hope of that. Begone." The tip of his blade pierces violently against the hammer, shattering it into millions of pieces as it lodges itself right in the heart of that idiotic brute, killing him instantly. Of course, when his lackeys saw all of this happening, most of them moved to run away and escape their inevitable fate...
But it was useless.
He was going to be the all powerful blade of justice. What chance did they think they possessed escaping from his vengeance?
In a blink of an eye, Shou manages to cut down every last one of them, his body count in this single day alone being well over the double digits. "If any of you were just your average criminals, I suppose I wouldn't have made it a point to murder each and every one of you. But, supporting a man with a list of crime as heinous as Taiga's quickly puts you on my list of people that need to be deleted from the universe. Not that any of you can hear this considering how dead all of you are, ahaha." He sheathes his blade, walking deeper into the confines of the mansion. At this point, he knew that there was only a single man left he needed to deal with, and that was the cause of all this mess in the first place.
"Hey! What type of commotion are you IDIOTS having out there? I want my damn food already! It's ten minutes OVERDUE!" A well of disgust grows within Sho. This man who'd stolen the lives of so many people was nothing more than a buffoon with the temper of a child. Without a moment's of hesitation, he kicks down the door leading to Taiga's room, staring at the mob boss while covered in the blood of the very same security that was hired to protect him. "W-What the h-hell!? World Government...h-how...SOMEONE! HELP!" Taiga draws a gun, firing wildly at Shou and watching in horror as each and every one of those bullets bounced harmlessly off the swordman's form, who only seemed to be advancing forward, step by step.
"I'LL GIVE YOU ANYTHING! A MILLION ZENI! TEN MILLION! STAY AWAY FROM ME!" The last bullet Taiga fires is caught between Shou's two fingers, a sadistic grin on the officer's face. "I'll have to admit, Taiga, you're a guy that knows how to cover his tracks. It took me quite some time to track you down. And, I'm on my off-time, really. Just took a week of vacation, all for you. I'm not sure if I'll get in trouble for this or not, so I guess that's why I made sure to kill every single witness I came across." The look of fear on that fat bastard's eyes was intoxicating, really. "Delete." The bullet is flicked forward, lodging itself on the side of Taiga's neck, but unlike many of the bandits he came across before, it wasn't instantaneous death. "You see, Taiga, I often make a point to kill my enemies as quickly as possible, but for a piece of work like you, I'm willing to bend my rules a little and give you a few more precious seconds of life. Of course..." He watches with amusement as the mob boss chokes on his own blood, slowly, and quite painfully, too. "From the look on your face, you probably would've preferred it if I ended things instantly. Ah well, it can't be helped."
As Taiga's life extinguishes right before his eyes, Shou takes the time to clean himself off using all the amenities the castle could afford him; a high-tech washing machine, the showers, and everything else in between. Was it a bit heinous to use someone's house he just murdered like it was his own? Absolutely. Did he care? Obviously not. "I'll definitely have to seize some of these assets for myself, ahaha..." Of course, now all that was left was assuming Taiga's identity- which, was easier than one would think considering how secretive he was meant almost no one besides the thugs here knew how he looked- and completely obliterate his organization from the inside. Despite the gallons of blood he spilled here today, Shou could only think about the good he just did for the world. [WC: 1559]
