A bare light bulb shone harsh light from a corner of a dusty room. The light didn’t quite reach enough of the seated figure to reveal its face; which lay in shadow. The seated figure did have one distinguishing feature, a swirling bluish white glow emanated from its chest and reflected upon the rows of metal figures waiting before it. There were many of them crammed into the room in anticipation of something. They were formed from bits and pieces of metal, seemingly from whatever was at hand. No two was quite the same as they stood motionless in the silence; until the light from the stranger began to uniformly cause their eyes to glow the same color as the light from the figure’s chest. A high musical voice floated out from the shadows, “It is time. Go forth and come back with what I need.” A grin stretched across the figure's face as his creations clanked out of the room. Soon he would have enough souls to keep the Well constantly topped off... and he would have enough power to grind the people of this drab city under his heel and proclaim him their rightful master.
Through the streets of West City and beyond, members of Capsule Corp advertise for a group of people foolish brave and strong enough to tackle the mystery of why the south district of West City had become a virtual ghost town. Radio ads, flyers, and even posts of Yamcha's List seeking any candidates that thing they have what it takes. Any interested parties were to head to Capsule Corp HQ and seek out Joan Blackford for further details - Upon your arrival you will be ushered by a bubbly blond fellow with a man bun to a small waiting area stocked with snacks, water bottles and a coffee machine.
{Players Click This} Please have your first post include your inventory list and Power Level to set that in stone for the event - For your first post just explain how you heard about the trouble in West City and have it end in the waiting room - After you all have had a chance to post I will move it along. I am going to ask that you keep posts to 1k or less - I want to keep this moving as smoothly as possible. I look forward to seeing your responses!

How does one rule the entirety of the world? How does one reign as supreme emperor?
By putting the denizens of the world on notice, quelling the insurrectionists, and bringing every aberrant and anti-social deviant to heel by the power of his might and the wisdom of his forbearance. It was the sole reason the rumors and information about West City's abandoned south district intrigued him.
Mother always taught him to seek opportunities to establish dominance. Earthlings were weak—they would fold beneath a strong, unyielding force—either by their own will or against it.
And there was no force more unyielding than the Son of Two Empires. He stood with arms folded, lip curled in disgust at the sight before him.
The tiny blonde man seemed terrified of him, buckling beneath the weight of Cress's unrelenting stare. Not just the tiny blonde man—it felt like everyone in the lobby of the Capsule Corp building had stopped dead in their tracks to stare as he stalked into the building.
Some had even dropped what they held altogether and fled.
Could they sense it? The cold, oily feeling of dread as it encroached upon their hearts? Did they sense the demon that slumbered within him? It worked to their benefit he had soothed the 'beast' the previous night—the necks of many ferocious beasts and minor demons that plagued the realm beyond the glittering autonomy of West City had snapped in his hands like twigs.
The bloodlust was sated... for now.
"Joan Blackford."
His tone was soft, mellow even. Man Bun seemed surprised at the authority in Cress's tone, and the intelligence in his eyes.
"Oh, r-right. You're here about the... um..."
His face flushing with embarrassment, Man Bun gestured for Cress to follow him. The tiny man led the way down a series of bustling corridors, each of which ground its way to a halt at the sight of the towering Saiyan. Eventually, they reached a closed door. Cress could see it was some sort of break room.
"You want me to wait here?"
Man Bun nodded.
"Fine."
He raised a fist and banged it against the door. It tore from its hinges, falling forward and slamming to the ground with a thud. Man Bun turned pale as a ghost as Cress casually walked over the door and stepped into the small room.
It felt cramped and confined.
Whoever this Blackford earthling was, they had better get there soon.
He did not like to be kept waiting.

Savina had not been in West City long before she was wrapped up in some new drama. That really seemed to be the norm for her by this point in her little exploratory adventure- not that she complained much, given how it kept things interesting. Still, she might have enjoyed an opportunity to simply sit back and learn about the world she inhabited without needing to worry about some new struggle looming around the corner. On the other hand, those events tended to mean opportunities to fight, and the Saiyan-Android was not one to turn down a good fight. This particular ordeal, however, began not with a fight. Rather, it began when she had explored only a small corner of West City’s southern district- specifically when humans began to collapse where they stood. At first, she assumed that this was some kind of ritual, like a cultural afternoon nap; it was odd that they’d just let themselves fall limp where they stood, but the number of humans doing it simultaneously indicated to her that it was likely not an abnormal scenario. Those thoughts were abolished by the sound of a man’s frantic shouting and his rushing to help an elderly individual who had adopted the ground as a nice place for a rest. Savina watched from afar, judging that his reaction indicated that the occurrence was anything but normal. She was quick to react thereafter and worked to scoop up as many of the humans as she could into her mechanical arms. “ Where should I take them?” she asked of the panicked man, who was quite exasperated to discover that Savina had never seen a hospital before. Nevertheless, he managed to give her some successful instructions and saw to it that the android ferried at least a street’s worth of afflicted individuals to safety. Though she was satisfied that she had been of assistance during the matter, the girl couldn’t shake the feeling that there was something decidedly non-medical going on there. So, she did what any burgeoning young adventurer would do and set out to investigate.
So it was that Savina’s search brought her to the Capsule Corporation headquarters. Gauging from their advertisement, they did not appear to be much closer to an answer than Savina herself- but they had far more resources than she could ante up in pursuit of the truth; to sweeten the deal, the corporation also seemed to suspect some manner of foul play. The android arrived at the waiting room some ten or fifteen minutes after Cress had, continually ushered forward by the man-bun; the waiting man, however, was quite reluctant to see Savina through to the waiting room itself. Upon seeing the state of the door, she understood immediately. Apparently, someone else with a penchant for violence had been recruited into this particular endeavor. Perhaps, if she was lucky, they would agree to have a bout with her, too, after all this was over? Either way-- she stepped lightly into the waiting room, careful to avoid denting the fallen door any further. “ Did… you find the door’s temperament disagreeable?” the girl asked playfully, lifting a smiling countenance up to peer upon Cress. By her sensor’s estimations, he was quite strong- and decidedly not human. In fact, his physiological makeup was not unlike the Baron from before. Perhaps they were friends? Or… she paused, remembering what Atalan had said about rival baronies and intentions to rule the Demon Lands. It was more probable, then, that this individual was an enemy to her strange friend. Better to play it safe and avoid mentioning such things, she reasoned. “ That’s okay-- sometimes I can’t be fussed with doors, either. I’ve seen automatic doors all around the city, so they should really just make every door automatic!” wc: 644 twc: 644 darthlunchbox @null Moth Violet Isaac Grey Power Level: 5960 Equipment: Black Water Mist, Expert Training Gear, AI Asistant, Blaster Pistol, Obi

Vera, unfortunately, was busy doing actual scientific research to join in on this, but with these recent events, Isaac was called upon by Capsule Corp to investigate this strange phenomenon. Not just because they saw him beat up the robbers that attacked Capsule Corp with an EMP device recently, but due to the fact they think that Androids could be immune to this cognitive ailment. It makes sense that an enhanced human would be immune to such technology. However, that is not the whole reason he accepted the job. He heard the rumors about these strange robots going around that may have something to do with it, and he wants to take and study the technology of these robots so he can replicate them. Perhaps with this technology, even Tap won't be a match for him, and he could use it to take Capsule Corp from her in a literal hostile takeover. While tempting as that is he must continue doing it the slow and tactful why as much as his bloodlust wants to do it the violent way. He makes his way to the lobby where other people will arrive to help them investigate the disturbances. He looks around and sees two people there already. One was a strange gentleman wearing some kind of armor and spiky hair. The girl with the pink hair seems a bit too happy to be here. While he can't gauge power levels he, of course, notices that the man's muscles are not for show as he looks to see the broken door leading to this room. He, of course, wondered what the girl could do, seeing both of them in action will provide excellent data for him to understand how to properly fight. The data he got from his fight with Nao was very valuable although it took him a while to properly imitate her fighting style to make it a part of his. So it will be interesting to see them in combat as they might be more powerful then she was and help him figure out more of what he could do. "This exchange program keeps getting more and more interesting," Isaac thought with a smile. "Greetings everyone, my name is Isaac Grey. I am an artificially enhanced human or Android courtesy of Gero Industries. Unfortunately it was due to a horrible accident that I got my upgrade but nevertheless I make do with what I was given. So the fine people of Capsule Corp have sent me as well to join you. Take solace in the fact that you're being helped by one of the brightest young minds of this generation. It will be a pleasure to be working with you," Isaac said.

Dahlia eyed an add that came over her cell phone on her social media, then via text message and even on her favorite video sharing site over the course of the day it seemed to be everywhere as she saw her face reflecting in her phone as she stared at it, "what the heck is this all about the crises going on in South District, everybody seems to be talking about it.." she thought to herself as the adds called for individuals to come help solve the mystery essentially. "So some humans went missing? What does that have to do with gathering dark energy to resurrect me?" The familiar voice of her demon lord master rang out in her mind as she put her cell phone back into her purse sitting outside clothing store with a bag with some new clothes in it. "I dunno, maybe its one of your demon enemies like Headhunter causing trouble." She said as she cracked open a pink and purple colored energy drink sipping on the refreshment. "Plus even if not I want to be a hero, I have been causing to much trouble as Moth Violet," she said reminding him she was only doing these things to free him so all the problems that came with Moth Yokai would go away hopefully upon his resurrection and returning to Demon World. (Dahlia Lumin) "At this rate people are going to think I'm a criminal!" she said in a frustrated panic. "I gotta so something good to help the city!" She said intent on taking up Capsule Corp on their offer. "Hmmm, well not like I can stop you. Then go find out, better than you loafing around buying worthless clothes wasting time," he said as Dahlia's expression became annoyed. "I am not your slave, I have a life too!" She said standing up throwing away the half finished energy beverage looking for a place to transform. She walked behind corner of the store going around all the way to the back tell she was near the loading platform with a parked truck and some dumpsters for trash, "okay lets do this!" She said as her eyes went from purple to crimson red, purple glowing wings grew out of her as she exploded in a burst of violet ki and dark smoke that lingered with an evil oder to the those with a sixth sense for it. Emerging from the lingering smoke was Moth Violet as she sunk into her shadow self, the dark side of one's personality that is in all people only her worsts traits often suppressed where now dominate indicated by the very demonic powers that gave Moth Violet her powers. (Moth Violet) "Tch this could be a waste of time, but I suppose I wont know tell I go" she said more suspicious about the Capsule Corp ads than her normal alter ego Dahlia. She flew off with her bag of clothes not willing to part ways with it even her greed. She would land at Capsule Corporation and meet a blond man with a man bun a he blinked at at her bewildered at what she was, "I am here for the job or are you just going to stare at me tell I get angry," she said glaring at him with her unnatural crimson eyes before he lead her to a waiting room full of snacks and strangers as she glanced around at them, normally Dahlia would have been very shy around strangers but as Moth Violet she glanced now and then trying to size them up while enjoying a few cookies among the snacks. "If nothing else I guess I will find out who has super powers like me in West City besides Beruto and that catgirl I fought..." she thought to herself finding an opportunity to see fighters who may potentially get in her way in the future. It was like almost Moth Violet had forgotten her alter ego's desire to be a hero and instead had others ideas are her alter ego. "Good, be cunning, if they want a hero then be one for them right under their noses," her master said in her conscious as she nibbled on a cookie with her back turned. Suddenly she heard somebody speak as she turned around as he introduced himself, he was a young man handsome with blond hair and spoke in somewhat of a intellectual manner. "What does he mean he is artificially enhanced what the heck does that even mean?" she wondered just giving a simple nod and a forced smile trying to fit in the best she could with the strangers. Arimor Finch was having a bad day. Like a capital B bad day. The first person to answer the call for the Heroes initiative DID NOT seem like much of a hero. The brute had broken the door down to the break room... He just knew Ms. Blackheart was going to blame him somehow. The tea in his cup sloshed as his jittery hands slowly raised it to his lips. Maybe this will calm my nerves a bit... It didn't really so he reached under his desk to his messenger bag and pulled out a little flask. He glanced around quickly before adding a dash of liquid to his tea and returning it to his bag.. He took another sip and felt the extra warmth hit his tongue and stomach. A little better. He drained the rest of the cup in one quick motion to fortify himself and sat considering whether he might have time for another cup. The second... applicant had been better even if she was still scary. At least she had seemed cheerful. Hopefully the first one wouldn't eat her. Arimor had seen Dr. Grey around the building, but had never really spoken with him. He'd never heard that he had an itch to be a hero, but really would that come up in casual conversation? He probably just wants to study the phenomenon... maybe he can find a way to stop it. The last person to answer the call was an odd girl with wings. He hadn't been able to help himself, he had stared at her... she was very direct and in his face about it. he muttered to himself, "I mean how many times do you see a girl with moth wings?"The intercom buzzed on his desk and Joan's low raspy voice emanated from the speaker, "Ari, send in the applicants, whatever we have I don't have time to wait for more." Gulping, Ari patted what stray hair he could back into his bun and stood. You can do this Ari, it will only be scary for a minute... He paused outside of the break room and put on a huge fake smile before stepping in and cheerily saying, "Please, follow me to Ms. Blackheart's office! This way."He led them through the halls, nervously watching them over his shoulder. He finally brought them to a plain wooden door that had a simple metal handle. He hurriedly opened it wide and stepped to the side to hold it open for them as he called in, "Here they are Ms. Blackheart!" After the last of the applicants entered he carefully closed the door and hurried away. It was NOT a run.. defnitley not. Just a very fast walk....
Joan Blackheart's office is dominated by the huge teak desk she sits behind. The desk itself is covered in all sorts of papers, knick-knacks and the gods themselves only know what. Perhaps not even them though Joan seemed to have some idea as she finally looked up, her long blag hair no longer covering her impassive face. She was middle aged with purple cat's eye glasses and quite a short woman; it hardly seemed that she should need that much desk. Her analytical brown eyes swept over the four before her and she gestured for them to take a chair as her low raspy voice rose to greet them, "Welcome to Capsule Corp, take a seat. My Name's Joan Blackheart. Capsule Corp would like to thank you for taking this task of public safety on, yada, yada, yada. Please take a clipboard and fill out the waiver forms, release forms, living will, and your personal info." She reached over and picked up a stack of clipboards and set them on the front end of the desk towards the heroes. She settles back into her seat and picked up a pickle jar to reach under it to grab a remote before turning around to the wall behind her. She clicked the remote and the wall opened to reveal a large screen. "Watch this while you fill out your forms. You big shot types should be able to handle that." Surveillance video of a street began to play, "This was when the even began. As you can see, all of these people are affected at once, it's like something sucks the spirit or energy right out of them." Indeed, the video shows people begin to stagger about, with a few elderly people and children outright collapsing.
"We've evacuated the whole south district of town. The people we have brought out all seem to be recovering, but we need to find out what caused this and stop it at all costs. If this spreads to the whole city..." she stopped, she didn't need to spell out how big of a disaster that would be. She clicked another button, "This is the most recent video. Since we have evacuated the citizens, something has been roaming the streets," the screen showed some grainy surveillance footage of an alley with many pairs of glowing eyes looking out from the shadows and oddly shaped shadows, "They grabbed a few people that tried to evacuate and dragged them somewhere but we don;t have any clear shots of these things yet. We would like you to look for the people they took too if you can. You can start right after you are done filling your forms out. Any questions?" Joan lifted the pickle jar and carefully placed the remote back under it as she waited for questions.

It seems that they think that he might die in this mission. Ludicrous, he is going to be the one that will do most of the work for these simpletons. Nevertheless, he fills out the forms perfectly as he doesn't want to argue with this woman. It's probably more legal necessities out of anything so they won't have to worry about any lawsuits. Although getting hurt on the job and suing Capsule Corp might be an interesting way to take them down, their lawyers are most likely too competent to allow that. After finishing the forms and placing them in a neat stack on the desk he watches the video. The people in it are described as having their soul or spirit sucked out of them. Working for Gero Industries he has learned about another type of Androids that can drain the life force from living beings and use it to power themselves. Could it be that these machines are something similar? If he can get his hands on them perhaps there could be a way to upgrade himself in a sort of hybrid of these two Android types. "Ms. Black heart, if I may speak for a moment? Since from what I gather that these are machines since some people who can sense the life force of living beings and no one has ever noticed the presence of these things, how do you expect us to find them if we can't rely on sensing for their energy? I suppose one thing we could do is leave someone out in the open as bait for these machines to try and drain their spirt, and the others in hiding so that they can ambush them. Since my energy is everlasting I nominate myself to be this bait, it is the most logical course of action." Isaac said.

His eyes snapped to attention as the woman entered the room. She stepped daintily over the damaged door as if she were reluctant to add to its demise. Her eyes immediately landed on his. He huffed in response. His muscular arms folded tightly over his barrel chest. Cold black eyes never left her.Did he find the door disagreeable? What an absurd notion. Why would he waste his time with something so trivial? If this were an example of the foolish questions he would be expected to answer from the others that would join this mission, then he was in for a long day indeed. He pushed his senses toward her and felt... nothing. A cold and empty void resided where her ki should have been. It set him on edge because he could not get a proper read on her, and from the way her eyes swept over his being, it appeared she was doing the same. He was no stranger to these types—androids, as they were called. There was no other explanation for the lack of life energy from her. Cress could not trust a machine, nor would he attempt to. He instinctively lowered his own power level, seeking to remain inconspicuous despite his unmissable size and treatment of the break room door. "Doors are inanimate. They cannot feel pain, nor do they possess feelings. What does it matter to you if I decide to destroy them all?" His tone betrayed none of his irritation. "I should hardly deign to care about your opinion on the matter." She set him on edge, that was for sure. Unfortunately, she wasn't the only one. Another man entered the room, and much like with the woman before him, Cress found he could not sense the man's energy. His frown deepened into a disapproving scowl. Another one? He introduced himself as Isaac Grey, as if they were supposed to care who he was. Cress did not. "You machines are coming out of the wood work. Had I known there would be so many of you, I'd not have bothered to come. Keep your niceties—I am wholly uninterested in working with either of you." What was taking so long? If he had to be trapped in this room another second... And that was when he felt it. Cress's eyes grew wide as he slowly lowered his arms. His nostrils flared wide as he sniffed the room. That ki... he knew that energy. But that could only mean— A third girl entered the room, a pair of giant-sized purple moth wings protruding from her back. She carried the dark energy into the room with her, and though nothing about the measure of strength he could sense within her felt special, he did not like what he was sensing. "You..." He walked past the other two without a word and stood before her, towering over her small frame. "I can sense demon ki within you, yet you're clearly human."His mouth twisted into a small grin. Part of his aura began to leak out, his power level rising as the walls and floor of the small room began to quake from the pressure of his energy. "Every demon I've ever met has tried to kill me and failed. Will you be my next challenger?" His fist clenched at his side. Would she rise to the bait? They would not get the chance to test such a theory. The rather anxious looking Earthling who had led them to the room to begin with had returned and directed for them to follow him once more. "Tch." His aura faded and the room stopped quaking. Cress shot a glance at the moth lady. "Perhaps we can settle this another time."He stalked out of the room after the fidgety man in the lab coat.
He trained his eyes on the screen behind Joan Blackford, watching as men, women, and children alike fainted in heavy droves all around the city. These weren't only those who were standing out in the open—those who were driving or otherwise operation equipment and machinery fell victim to this as well, causing a great deal of damage to the surroundings. It was a strange phenomenon to say the least. Nothing he had ever dealt with before. Nothing he couldn't handle, either. Cress opted not to bother signing anything. What did he care for waivers? He was yet quite unconvinced that there was anything sinister happening that he couldn't handle without great risk. He started to say so until Joan played another video for them. "What are those things?" he wondered aloud, voicing any sort of concern for the first time since his arrival. As Joan explained, the things were grabbing the unconscious people and dragging them away for some sinister purpose. His eyes narrowed. He'd seen this many times before, even if the predator itself was unknown. Prey, once hunted and wounded, were dragged into the dens of predatory animals—both a prize and sustenance all at once. These... things... were claiming Earthlings for some reason. But what?Joan wondered if any of them had any questions. Cress had but one thing on his mind. "Will I be held accountable for any damage that this city sustains? You summon us here and pit us against a foe without a clue as to what these things are capable of. Do not expect me to play nice. Something tells me these things won't." Isaac stepped in, and like the good cub scout he was, signed his form before he volunteered himself to act as bait based on the preposition that as an android, he would be immune to whatever strange effect these things were having on the earthlings. It was a foolish plan. There was no evidence that only organic beings were affected by this phenomenon. Humanoid androids were practically indistinguishable from normal humans. Some of those that were carted away to recover could have just as easily been otherwise. There was much they did not know. "Do what you want. I don't care. I'm going to find these things, and I'm going to crush them all. The rest of you can bother with clean-up and rescue duty—just stay out of my way."He turned and headed for the door. The gynoid stepped to the side to let the newest of their party arrive unhindered, beginning with a young blonde fellow who wasted precisely no time in introducing himself as an ‘artificially enhanced human’. Savina lifted her own metallic hand and peered within its molded palm, wondering if this ‘Isaac’ was enhanced in the same way that she was. Perhaps he was less like her directly, and more like that strong guy she had fought before, Bryce. Bryce’s physiology was remarkably like Savina’s own, albeit with a durable layer of false skin covering his mechanical inner workings. To her excitement, his engineering had proven to be superior, meaning that if this Isaac was similar, she would have someone else strong and exciting to battle with. “ Does that mean you’ve got metal under your skin, like mine?” she inquired of Isaac and extended her hand toward him to allow the observation of her engineered exterior. In fact, save for her face and her ebon hair, the majority of the girl’s body appeared to be made of metal. Her engineering was flexible, durable, and certainly not of Capsule Corp(or it’s subsidiaries)’s design. Savina’s inquiry was replicated again by the newest companion to their unruly little bunch. “ Oh, don’t get me confused for entirely a machine!” she was quick to clarify to Cress thereafter, not wanting to give off the wrong impression. Savina lifted a hand and knocked her knuckles gently against the side of her head. “ There’s a brain in here! Fleshy one, like yours- nervous system, too. The rest of my body -is- mostly mechanica, you’re right, but… I’m capable of growing and improving just the same as anyone else!” Following her vocal self-defense, the girl’s attention was similarly drawn to the composition of the moth-girl’s energies. Further still, the largest of their group seemed to have a mind for asserting his presence over the room. Savina gauged his strength from that little show and smiled. “ You’re strong! I’m looking forward to seeing you fight- maybe we can get a match in after all this is over too?” However, she was prevented from following up on that offer with the man-bun’s return. It was time to meet their would-be employer, apparently!
Upon reaching their hostess’s desk, Savina listened intently to her instructions. She took up a liability waiver in hand and looked it over. It was curious that such a thing would be expected of her to sign- was it not evident that injury was risked when agreeing to undertake such an effort? Furthermore, what was a ‘Living Will’, and why did it matter? Didn’t a Will of any sort require one to be, well, living? She figured that if anything was capable of exerting a will, that was evidence enough that the thing was ‘alive’. This human city was the most impressive set of structures she’d seen since emerging from the research bunker, but humans were by far the most…. Culturally complicated of those species she had encountered. Atalan and his barony was far easier to understand, if not a bit more outwardly cruel- and everything she knew about her creators indicated that their culture was rather straightforward and militaristic at all levels, even if their technology was quite advanced. Humans were the only ones that seemed to care about such frivolous things as ‘legality’ and ‘liability’. She didn’t particularly care either way, and proceeded to scribble her information down on the requested documents. Afterward, Isaac spoke up. “ I was in the affected region when people began to fall over. I did not seem to be affected by whatever agent was causing those symptoms, so… I think your reasoning is mostly sound, but… there’s the matter of you not registering as a life-form for them to be worried about to begin with. I think that maybe--” she was cut short by Cress’s sudden decision to simply leave. Savina didn’t blame him for his eagerness to get started, but it was a bit foolish to rush headlong into danger like that. That did not, however, stop the Saiyan-Android from following quickly after him. If he was going to soil their chance to enact some kind of plan for tackling this threat, she wanted to at least be sure that she was at the frontlines when things started to get a bit hairy! wc: 749 twc: 1393 darthlunchbox @null Moth Violet Isaac Grey

Moth Violet glanced at Cress who immediately called her out her eyes widening a little stunned before she brought herself together with a wary on guard demeanor as he walked up to her. "I can sense demon ki within you, yet you're clearly human." He said as she looked a little shocked that he had sensed her powers, she supposed he could sense ki inculding dark ki the favorite of the Demon Race and the real source of her powers. He followed up boasting about how he had killed every demon he had been in mortal conflict with and if she wanted to take him on as she clinched her fists, "watch this one, he could figure us out he maybe of the demon race himself," her master said in her conscious delaying her response as the small moth girl comically stood defiantly against the large brute of a man. (Moth Violet)
"I don't even know you, let alone want to fight you! I'm here to save the city nothing more..." she said to Cress not liking this guy at all he rubbed her in all the wrong ways as her tightening fists started to glow in purple energy as her nervous made her newfound powers leak out with her being flustered by Cress. They were lead into a room as the young dark magika girl walked with the others as Ari announced their arrival before he closed the door and left Moth Violet glancing back at him watching him quickly close the door before she turned her attention back to Ms. Blackheart and the others introducing herself and welcoming them all. She offered them to take a seat and so Moth Violet sat down crossing her legs as she wondering what this was all about as she gave everybody clipboards and wanted them to fill out paperwork. "What is all this?" She thought looking through the pages of documents it was obvious this was just as dangerous as she imagined it might be even still it was a little scary writing your will at only 16 years old. Then came the video as the moth girl's crimson eyes focused in on it as she continued to speak. "So that's what happened and it seems whatever those things are they had the ability to drain energy out of their victims somehow," She thought pondering what Ms. Blackheart was explaining to them about the West City menace they would be facing. "Spread to the whole city?" she muttered bringing her right hand up to her pink lips she began biting on it a bit nervously realizing her parents and friends could be in danger. Those thoughts went away for the moment as the woman showed footage of figures with glowing eyes in the shadows revealing at least partially what they were in for fighting it seemed. Then she said they could start right after they filled out there forms as Moth Violet looked a bit bewildered, "so there is no plan or even any idea if those people are currently still alive?" she said looking at Ms. Blackheart with suspicious eyes, her gut feeling felt like they being thrown into a situation as canon fodder as she looked around at the others for some sort of guidance, at least some of them had some plans on handling this or what she feared worse if if these guys would just scattered and do their own things, she didn't like the idea of facing those things alone. Luckily one of them did speak up it was the blond guy again and his plan at least calmed her nerves a bit as he seemed to have a plan her eyes were glued on him as somebody who actually seemed like he knew what the hell he was doing compared to her being a novice really just gaining her dark magika powers. Iscaac also revealed some interesting information about himself stating he had everlasting energy so she got the notion he really was some sort of cyborg. "Everlasting energy is that even possible?" She wondered for a moment as her master spoke in her mind once again. "There are many curiosities in the Universe, now you see why you must get stronger and train to be ready for such unknowns," he said lecturing his henchmen a bit before going silent Moth Violet keeping a poker face not giving any signs that her master was communicating with her. Of course Cress spoke up to asking about if he would get in trouble causing damage to the city as Moth Violet narrowed her eyes growing more on edge about that guy he had already damaged a door in the place, what else would he do once they were out on the streets? The girl Savina seemed to agree with Isaac's plan and Moth Violet wanting to put her two cents in with the his plan spoke up, "I also agree with his plan, we should work together as a team to stop these things I will help in anyway I can," she said giving the blond machine man her support for his plan as well. Moth Violet could only hope that the more unhinged Cress would go along with it as well getting some comfort in the fact they were at least trying to organize themselves into some semblance of a team. The group followed the large Saiyan hybrid from the office. Any of them that was particularly observant would have noticed a little bun of hair barely visible at the reception desk as they walked past it. Down the streets towards the South District the intrepid heroes traveled; the traffic grew thinner and less frequent before it finally disappeared altogether a few blocks out. There are yellow tape lines from the police cordoning off the area. The streets are almost totally silent, a disturbing atmosphere for a little past mid-day in such a big city. As you proceed into the abandoned district, your footsteps echo loudly between the buildings. It isn't long after you enter the area that as a group you start feeling something tugging at your energy.
In a dark room, a figure is hunched over a metallic form, ratcheting something down when the soft glow from his chest starts to brighten. A whisper dances out into the room, "They have sent someone to face me... good. Their ki is quite potent." He reached down and made a few last adjustments to the metallic figure laying before him before the light in his chest blazed again and the large robot's eyes lit up the same bluish white color. "Greetings, Master. What is my designation?""I shall call you Steven. Rise and help me complete your companion."The robot rose and turned with the figure towards a figure laying on another table.
Isaac walks slowly out into a small park, looking about clinically while the rest of our heroes watch from a nearby alleyway. They didn't have long to wait as across the park there came a cacophony of clanking sounds preceding the appearance of a swarm of robots spilling into the open space and charging towards the apparently alone Isaac Grey. It was time to put their power to action or watch their companion be overran by a wave of metal. {READ ME} Starting now, all player are losing 1 ki per turn. Infinite core Bros/Sisters, you are now gaining 1 less ki per turn for now. Please notate this appropriately

He stalked down the middle of the three-lane thoroughfare. His eyes drifted through the empty streets. Many of the shops seemed abandoned, as well as the cars. Purses and shopping bags lay haphazardly on the ground, their content spilling onto the asphalt, as well as dropped cell phones and a few stray shoes that had inconspicuously fallen off of their owners' feet.
Ghost town didn't begin to cover it. He paid no mind to his companions, though the android woman followed a bit too close behind for his comfort. Cress let out a grunt and spun around, briefly pausing in a manner that held up the entire group. "Will you back off?" He barked, his strong tenor echoing through the quiet streets. "I don't need a babysitter. And if you're thinking you're going to slaughter more of these fiends than me, guess again. I'm going to kill them ALL—so KNOCK it off." Of course, his words probably failed to phase her.
There was an aloofness about Savina he didn't quite understand, and her nature spoke to someone experienced in these situations. This was brand new territory for Cress, and as for the others? Isaac walked along with purpose, intent on carrying out his foolish plan while the girl infused with demon energy—whose name he still didn't know—brought up the rear. Out of fear or cowardice? He was quite eager to see what all she could do. Soon the business and shopping district faded to public areas.
A wide park area filled their vision as Cress waited in the alley, arms folded with a scowl etched onto his scarred face. He went along with their plan without a word otherwise, despite his promise to do his own thing. While his pride would not allow him to accept help from the others, his cunning mind would not allow him to rush headlong into a blind situation—even if he were convinced no threat could topple him. He was an emperor, after all.
"This is pointless," he grumbled, shooting a glare at his companions. He raised a hand and gestured toward Isaac who casually strolled into the midst of the empty park, as if he had not a single care in the word. "We shouldn't be cowering like rats. We should be—" His words cut off abruptly as a swarm of robots rushed into the park area, heading straight for Isaac. He let out a grunt, refusing to be embarrassed by the fact that his own short-sighted nature had failed him. "I'll say it again. Stay out of MY way!"
Cress charged onto the field like a gladiator rushing into glorious battle. His heart pounded in his chest, beating with the thrill of the fight. His armor gleamed in the bright sunlight as his caped billowed out behind him, snapping in the sudden wind. Every bit the regal warrior he claimed to be. He did not head for Isaac, however—that fool could fend for himself. He charged toward the nearest robots and prepared for battle! "You're real target's right in front of you. Just TRY and take me down!"

He didn't just ask to join this out of the goodness of his heart oh no, he not wanted the first to see these devices up close but to take them apart. Sure there was a chance he would still be affected as well most likely, but he can't prove himself right unless he goes out himself. And it seems the other Android confirms that Androids are unaffected, but might not recognize him as the type of target they are after. This is also logical, which is why unless these robots are of poorly made AI they wouldn't recognize him as a former normal human. At the end of the day at least he is going to have some fun. He began to walk across the abandoned streets of the south district with his hands in his coat pockets. Innocently whistling as he began to walk to the park. He then began to hear the sound of clanking and turned to see the army of machines coming towards him. It seems they are messing with his Infinite Core but due to the genius of Doctor Gero, and a few his own upgrades, the amount they are draining is minuscule and he chuckles at their feeble attempt. The fact that they are all completely mechanical shows they were made by someone. "Whoever made you were either in a hurry or didn't have the resources to make use of your full potential. If they had made you built stealthier such as a more sleek design that allows you to be quieter then perhaps you could have given me trouble if you all got the drop on me. The very fact that you all don't seem to completely understand what I am shows that he obviously made your AI's limited, most likely on purpose so that you wouldn't betray your master. I look forward to expecting what will be left of you," Isaac said with a devilish smile. He then prepared himself for the upcoming battle as the robotic swarm edged closer towards him as he stood his ground.

Savina stepped sprightly along beside Cress, definitely unphased by his gruff nature. She didn’t blame him for wanting to deal with the threat entirely on his own- she would have enjoyed fighting against such odds just the same, but the group of them had been hired as precisely that: a group. The glory was not there for any one single person to claim; besides, the android had a feeling that there would be more than enough opponents for each of them to properly enjoy. “ I’m not here to babysit, I promise! I just didn’t want to get left behind, y’know? Seems like there’s a lot of fun to be had here, and I wanna have at least a little bit of it for myself!” she replied aloud, grinning harmlessly up at the much larger hybrid. She had no direct intention of actually ‘helping’ the headstrong fellow, but very much wanted to carve out her own little section of the battlefield to play around in. Plus, at the end of the day, she had been designed specifically to fulfill tasks as something of an irregular unit- meaning that aside from having fun, Savina’s mind was set on ensuring that their mission was completed. From the sounds of Cress’s outbursts, she wagered that he was more interested in fighting everything that came their way than actually solving the problem they had been tasked with. If only things were so simple! She watched alongside Cress as Isaac moved to enact his own plan, and smiled when the larger Saiyan suggested that it was some kind of craven idea to go about this business strategically. Reveling in battle or not, that sort of attitude was sure to get him killed long before he had a chance to topple truly great opponents-- or so Savina reasoned internally, anyways. When she saw the mass of robots surge into that plaza and head for Isaac, the girl’s attention snapped immediately back to Cress to observe what his reaction would be. As expected, he barreled headlong into the swarm of synthetic beings and demanded that they focus their attention on him and only him. I wonder if he realizes that he’s not the strongest one here? she mused internally, then gathered energy within her feet to lift her into the air. Savina rose and rose until she could see the bulk of the robots charging toward their intended targets; for now, she would simply wait and see how they reacted. There would be time to join the fray soon enough! Initiative: Eg|po7eh1d100wc: 432 twc: 1825 darthlunchbox @null Moth Violet Isaac Grey 1d100

Moth Violet went with the group following the group, Moth Violet did notice the man's bun but only for a split second as her heart started to noticeably beat faster as her nerves were put on edge realizing this could get as lethal as the demon Headhunter incident in which she was only able to pull through with the help of Beruto. The only comforting thing was that it seemed the other fighters knew what they were doing with Isaac's plan to lure the enemy to them. When the reached the yellow tape Moth Violet simply kept with the group trying to keep her fears under control as she clinched down on her fists so hard and with such angst her fists where glowing in her natural ki without the girl even knowing it. "Whats that feeling?" She said blinking as she felt her life force feeling strange as if it was being tugged on, "does anybody else sense something strange?" she asked the others as Isaac walked into the park to act as bait Moth Violet could only watch, not only was the blond cyborg man smart but he seemed braver than anybody she knew, she was sure she would have never acted like bait against those freak metal monsters it seemed too dangerous even with her dark magika powers. Her fears were proven true when a swarm of the metal freaks went at Isaac making Moth Violet tense up again looking at the others waiting for them to make a move. The loud mouthed Cress yelled about how pointless this was as Moth Violet looked at the large man bewildered she almost wanted to ask him if he had any better ideas but kept her mouth shut not wanting to anger him any more than the seemingly crazy man was already. He then said for them to stay out of his way which Moth Violet could agree to if he wanted to go get himself killed for all she cared. Then Savina spoke about not wanting to babysit and was looking for a fun challenge that made Moth Violet's eyebrow arch up, was she just as crazy as the big man, it seemed possibly so as she seemed eager for combat as well. (Moth Violet) "Tch, well if these two are so eager let them go first and I will follow behind," She thought to herself waiting to see what would happen next, if she could she would follow behind them being a bit more cautious not having any experience with hoards of dangerous machines.
