It was a beautiful day on Papaya Island, the waves were crashing against the docks, and the seagulls were migrating south. Many people were walking and had somewhere to be. Will though was standing there and looking over the horizon. Getting a feel of everything around him as the sea breeze flaps his cape. A perfect place for him to practice.
While Will enjoys having now and then, but resting was what made him sleep for thirteen years and missed a chance to defend a town from a crazy boxer. Of course he is not going to take it too far and forgo sleep for the rest of his life even if he is immortal, that would just drive him insane. So he has been practicing sensing for Ki signatures around him even while asleep, so that a sudden incoming large life signature close by would wake him up. So far in his practice sessions nothing was able to wake him up yet so that's probably a good sign that nothing bad has happened yet. Or at least he hasn't heard any news like that.
It wouldn't hurt to begin practicing now, so Will begins sitting in a crouch position as if he were meditating. While doing so he begins to sense everything around him and keeps doing so, holding on to that sense while he is asleep. If someone or something with a large power level were to come nearby he would wake up and then investigate said presence. For now many people walk by or stop to look at Will as he is doing this. Taking pictures of the weird cat man or trying to see if they can wake him up.

Cayle was on Papaya Island after having finished an odd job. A delivery of Taco King food to the Mayor of Papaya Island as a part of negotiations to allow the company to get licenses to operate a taco truck or potentially in the future, restaurant, on the island. That was then and this was now the task over- Cayle Pota, son of Pota Potaset was fishing on the beach in silence as the people were taking pictures of this strange meditating cat. They chattered, and fawned over the catman, and their noise made him have issues fishing with his bare handed only fishing line within his hand and hook on the fishing line, spiritual energy being channeled through the fishing line as he fished in an attempt to practice his spiritual energy control and also to make bigger fish come. Will then felt someone use their Ki on some kind of line. It seems that there was another powerful individual nearby, fishing it seems. Their aura appears to feel friendly. Perhaps Will can meet after he is done. He does seem to have potential and he is trying to get students. Then Will awoke as he looked up to see the fish. He leaped up in the air and hit it was staff and in a flurry of blows sending the giant tuna right next to the stranger who was fishing. Everyone stopped taking pictures and looked in awe as they saw what they thought was just a cute cat man in strange clothing was some kind of Martial Artist. Will then walked over to where the boy was fishing. "Hello there, I am Will O. Wisp, a master of the Turtle School, I couldn't help but notice you can use Ki. As it so happens I am looking for new students. You seem like you are filled with potential, that is unless you already have a master that you follow and if so I apologize. What do you say?" Will asks. He waits for this stranger's answer and for them to introduce themselves.

The cat did look like it was cosplaying one of those martial artists from the papaya island archives or the entire genre of cheesy martial arts movies, from wuxia to street punk, that Carlos Alfonso De La Reyes and the rest of the Taco King family had introduced to him after they saw the martial arts feats that Cayle, Konja, Jack and the rest of the Saiyan refugees were capable of. The dark brown haired Saiyan as such wasn't exactly impressed by the outfit, and narrowed his icy blue eyes.
Yes, the counterattack of the Tuna rather than simply rolling out of the way or running showed some martial prowess. But Cayle was still quite aware that even the most basic of true martial artists on this planet could do such a thing. The cat looked like it was a kid, or more aptly a kitten, in a halloween costume which they had bought from the Kakarot movie, and alien in a strange land or no, this did not escape Cayle Pota, son of Pota Potaset, himself son of Potaset Potaset.
“Uh... that's rather forward. Anyone who uses spiritual energy has to be a martial artist then in your eyes? I wouldn't call myself that, necessarily.” he wrapped his tail around his waist and the Saiyan stood up from the spot he had been sitting at on the beach. “But I'm looking to relax so why not. If you can beat me in a fight, I'll consider it. But only if you can beat me, Will-Oh-Whisp.” the last was said as if he was testing the words on for size, in the case this was a new ally or enemy, a real martial arts practitioner on the scale of he and the other Saiyans who had begun to form the base foundation of his new royal guard or warrior caste.

Of course, I have more to teach then how to better use said power as well as the Turtle School philosophy." Will explained. It seems that Cayle offered Will a challenge if he beats him he shall consider it. While it is unlikely to know whether Will has a chance currently since he hasn't seen him in action yet, this could be a prime opportunity to get a new student. Even if he fails he can always find another one. "Very well, we shall battle here, although we may need to each hold back a bit so as not to hurt the bystanders watching, that is unless of course, you have stage fright than we find somewhere more private where we would be able to go more all out. You all might need to stand back about a few feet to give us more room, things are about to get a little heated and I don't want any of you caught in the cross-fire," Will said. The people who are watching this all unfold then back off as he said to watch the two fight, then Will began to stretch his legs, arms, and the rest of his body before he begins. And then enters a fighting pose, waiting for Cayle to do the same. The air around the dock begins to become tenser. Indeed, Cayle gave a chop to the brain plate of the struggling tuna before pushing spiritual energy around himself and flying through the air to the sandbar in the middle of the bay some half a mile away from the beach which they were previously on.
The Saiyan former farm boy wrapped his tail around his waist as he prepared for the fight, stretching and wondering exactly what martial skill this cat actually had, given he was talking to a full blooded Saiyan about inbuilt ability to manipulate spiritual energy and to use it.
As he waited, the Saiyan stripped out of his jacket, leaving just a white t-shirt and jeans, along with his combat boots.

Of course, Will knew that he was just testing to see if this man would responsible enough to know that as well. It definitely would fit right in the Turtle School. He then got onto his flying nimbus and touched down on the islet. He then noticed that the man seemed to be wearing some kind of furry belt that looks like a monkey's tail across his waist that wasn't there before. How curious, but Will shouldn't focus on that. He then focused his senses around the area. Using all of his heightened animalistic senses: hearing and smell. To detect what his movements would be. Along with his instinct to dodge any attacks the kid would through his way. It feels as if this battle is going to be extremely difficult for him. So he may need to go all out for this one after all the boy still seems very confident even after seeing some of Will's skills in action previously. Hopefully, he'll do better than when he faced that demon bandit. That was a low blow to his pride when he had to surrender that Gi and staff to them as payment, but maybe one day Will can return the favor, although by the time Will becomes stronger than them that bandit probably already sold off that Gi and staff, luckily Will found another staff of the same type but still puts a sour taste in his mouth that he had to give in to that ruffian's demands. He just hopes that this kid is not expecting a prize of any kind if he manages to win. He then flares up a white aura around him as his power begins to grow. Although if this kid is unable to sense Ki then this gesture would go unnoticed.

The cat must have been smoking some special plant if he really assumed that a Saiyan, a creature naturally more powerful than your average dedicated martial artist without any training- and naturally capable of things such as sensing, at least naturally capable of sensing ki in the era which Cayle was from, before captured Tuffle technology became a crutch which caused that particular sensory organ to stunt on the majority of the Saiyan species to the point it was a nearly atrophied muscle. The dark brown haired, icy blue eyed Saiyan took up a defensive stance and began to control his breathing, instantly pushing at his spiritual energy and in the process causing it to grow. Will then stood in awe as he watched Cayle powers up. Will he is certainly stronger then Will is currently, the gap between them isn't too wide. Yes, Will has a chance to beat him, not a large chance, or a small chance, more so a medium-sized one. He just needs to make every move count. Of course, he notices that Cayle's body is coursing with electricity from the power he is outputting. If he attacks his opponent directly with physical attacks he may be hurt by the opponent's electric potential, but he shall take the risk and go for it. He then flares and aura around him as he runs toward Cayle at great speed, while doing so he ends up zig-zagging around the island to confuse his opponent so that they won't know where he is hitting from. Using a combination of his natural dexterity, honed body, and using Ki to augment himself. He then comes in from the side to deliver a powerful kick to Cayle's right hip. The cat certainly was full of himself to think that power level was all that mattered in a fight. Cayle's body had been tortured, tested on, and prodded for much of his life and he had lived through hardship throughout his life. The Saiyan was not the type to play gently when sparring, and he was serious when it came to fights, not the jovial and laughing stereotype of some Saiyan warriors. No, the former farm boy had little patience for that kind of thing and as such when the cat began to hop around and try to distract him he simply focused his breath and his senses before preparing. When the kick for his hip came, the Saiyan spun around in the sand and threw a flurry of punches where he suspected his opponent to be, as well as an elbow. Before he was finished, the Saiyan slapped his hands together and focused his spiritual energy, aiming to hammer the cat into the ground like a nail into pliable wood. It shocked him quite a bit with the fur standing on its end. Not to mention kicking his opponent felt like he just kicked a mountain. However, he then was met with a flurry of blows, which Will reacted by quickly swaying left and right dodging each and everyone one of Cayle's punches. Then Will looks up to see Cayle about to perform a very powerful double axe handle on Will. As he was about to get out of the way he was struck and planted in the ground like a nail as Cayle was hoping. Will then gets out and runs back to make some distance between him and Cayle. He did not expect this dude to hurt him that much from one single attack. He begins to rub his head feeling the wound that he was just given by Cayle. "What the heck was that you could kill someone with an attack like that, this is just a friendly bout like a spar, it's not like this isn't a fight to the death or anything," Will said. Will watched as his opponent took his Kamehameha like it was nothing. How he is this sturdy and how is he doing so much damage despite being not that stronger than Will. There's got to be something else about him he's certainly not human. And that tail like a belt on his waist, could it be an actual tail. He has heard of monkey tailed humans with tremendous power, but he hasn't met one in person. It was then that Cayle began to doubt Will's status and mock Will for earlier. "Okay first off don't believe everything some movie says, second, I am a Martial Artist everything I had said before is true. But there's more to you than just great power. You're no ordinary individual, you're not even a human. Which is precisely why I must prove myself to you and convince you to be taught under me. I can't let that potential go to waste," Will said. As he came towards Will to deliver another onslaught, this time Will was on the guard. Blocking as much as he can, preventing many strikes from getting through his defenses. However, one managed to slip through and hit him. Leading to his opponent to deliver a combo afterward and knock a few feet away. Will weakly gets up and brushes himself off. He feels like he is about to pass out at any moment, but he's not going to go give quite yet. He then pulls a First Aid Kit and starts applying it to himself to heal most of the injuries he was given. He then begins to charge another Kamehameha and unleashes it towards Cayle hoping it will do more than the last one.

Once again Cayle just slammed his Kamehameha into the ground. Did that even hurt him at all? This guy's a monster, how come Will hasn't heard more about him before. Will was then bewildered by Cayle's statement that he was born on another planet. Oh so he's an alien and yet Will being a space alien is hard to believe. Try as much as he could, Will was then brought against an onslaught of different strikes. Punched, kicked, jabbed, all hit and Will was left a broken battered mess on the ground. Despite all of this, he was still breathing albeit barely. He leans his head up off the ground so he can speak to Cayle. "I am a master, or at the very least I was. My strength isn't what it used to be and I've been trying to get my former strength back, and yes it may sound like a lame excuse but it's true. Although it seems I have more to learn from you young Saiyan, you probably have a better chance of beating Demon King Piccolo more than anyone I know. You could become...the greatest hero this planet has ever know. I just wish that I was able to prove myself to you so that I could've helped guide you on that path," Will said. And with that, the old master fainted, his body and his pride broken. Truly was a humiliating defeat for him. Even worse then when he fought that red demon thief cause at least he managed to damage that imp. This guy, he is unsure if he could have beaten him at his full strength. It wasn't even a battle.
