Appearance: Toma is a very tall and muscular man at 8ft tall and weighing 350 Lbs respectively. His physique is built for the peak of power and strength, due to rigorous training and regular manual labor to give him the appearance of a body builder turned warrior. Some of his notable features besides his hulking physique would be his sharp angled jawline, and a matsu tattoo on his left pectoral that cascades into his chiseled upper abdominals. He is medium-fair skinned with waist-length black hair that he keeps parted evenly away from both sides of his face and is tied at the nape of his neck into a long ponytail. Toma also has some prominent sideburns that creep past his jawline and towards his face, while his eyebrows are medium sized that is kept groomed. His eyes are also a golden hazel color that resembles honey, but they immediately turn into a very aggressive yellow when he becomes angered and enraged. Toma still has his brown Saiyan tail from his birth, and he is able to wrap it completely around his waist if he has to. Also, the color all of his Ki manifestations exhibit are emerald green in color opposed to the typical white color that most have.
Toma's usual attire consists of traditional Japanese attire such as robes and accented ceremonial armor pieces with a hole in the back for him to push his tail through. When he is dressing more "conservatively", the duke often will wear a black Kosode or Happi with short sleeves along with his usual black Hakama and traditional black boots. On occasions he is alone in his living quarters, spear fishing, or preparing to take a dip in the occasional hot spring or other body of water, Toma will forgo all of his articles of clothing except for a white fundoshi that he always wears as an undergarment in place of boxers or briefs. In the event of a fight or a good spar, Toma will opt to go topless, whether it means slipping out of his haori and letting it drop to his waist or just strip off a shirt to show off his hard work to his challenger. There are also some occasions in which, to his mild displeasure, he will wear a very formal black suit and tie over a white dress shirt to meetings with the other dukes and duchesses; even though it is a little tight on his arms and chest.
Personality: For someone of a very intimidating height and build that dwarfs most people he comes into contact with, Toma is a very friendly and boisterous man that could easily be labelled as a gentle giant. He is truly in his element when he is in the company of others, especially when good food and fighting is involved. He is very proud of his Saiyan heritage and is more than to fight anyone that challenges him or trains along with him; followed by him graciously insisting that they eat their fill with him, even more so if they are a strong sparring partner or opponent and strongly suggest that they become friends. He also prefers to be very hands on for his position as a Pig Demon Duke, and participates in the same manual labor that his villagers do to support the village for business and trade. Although most would consider it simple a chore to do, Toma sees manual labor as a bonus opportunity for more diverse training to keep his regimen interesting and exciting.
However, the true reason he seeks out any opportunity to expend his physical energy is because he actually has really bad anger management issues deep down; the cause of which is because of the Berserker Gene that has been passed down to him from generation to generation, and is due to become the next Legendary Super Saiyan. Through discipline and meditation since he was toddler, Toma has learned to keep his inherited power and short fuse under control so far, but he is still capable of snapping and going on a rage-fueled rampage. Fortunately, he can be calmed back down by either applying pressure to a specific pressure point, like pinching an earlobe, gripping or pulling his tail with enough pressure, or giving him an affectionate hug.
Toma's love for food is so vast that not only is he able to eat enough food for an army in one sitting, but he's also a very proud owner of several five-star restaurants in Oolong City that cater to tourists and elites alike. Hospitality is very important to him and he truly does want all visitors to Surf 'n Turf Village and his restaurants to feel like they are being pampered, in hopes that they will keep coming back for more.
In fights Toma takes part in, he'd much rather have fun fighting and hold himself back if he deems it necessary. Of coarse, the stronger the opponent the more fun he'll have and even compliment them on their skill! When he does fight for real though, he's a heavy hitter that is sure not to hold back. If he does find his opponent attractive, he'll be very open about his feelings, but he'll also take advantage of the situation if he's given an opening.
Toma can be rather flirtatious with both genders to be honest, even though his interest leans more towards strong males that can hold their own. However, he is hesitant to get into any long-term romantic relationships with a partner because he's finally reached the stage in his life that he'll never age a single day more, while he would have to watch them grow old and die. If he were to find someone else that is incapable of aging like he is, he wouldn't hesitate to go all the way with the relationship, especially if they put him in his place every now and then.
History: Since the creation the world, Gods and Spirits have existed amongst mortals whether they were corporeal or not. Although many of the Spirits have been forgotten over the millennia, some still persisted in the minds and hearts of the mortals who considered them to be venerable protectors and guardians of nature and the land. One of these Spirits that was tasked with keeping a watchful eye over the region around and west of Korin's Tower happened to be the very proud and stoic Tiger Spirit, who controlled the movement of clouds in the Westlands to deliver showers of rain to fertilize the land and deliver lightning from the sky that would make the earth tremble from his might.
For countless ages, the Tiger Spirit carried out his tasks and heeded the plights of the mortals that paid him homage. He especially was fond of a village west of Korin's Tower that had a river running through it with very fertile land and was near the Western Coast as well. They were simple people living simple lives symbiotically with nature as farmers, fishermen, and occasionally hunters that were all trained as warriors from practices that were passed down from generations. There was a particular family of Saiyans in the village that passed down their combat skills and techniques from generation to generation, but also demonstrated restraint instead of recklessly showing off their strength like a clan of barbarians. This level of discipline piqued the tiger's interest as he started to spend more of his time around the village without a corporeal body to be seen.
An era of peace and prosperity continued and the village eventually became to be known as Surf 'n Turf Village, and solidified its standing in the Westlands when a villager by the name of Matsu Fudo became the first Duke of the village and established trade and culinary enterprise with the region, including half a dozen diners in Oolong City. However, this peace would soon be interrupted by a force that not even the strongest villagers could combat themselves. We now come to Age 1054, during the annual Sakura Festival, when the Tiger Spirit takes notice of a gigantic black cloud heading towards the peaceful village from the Southern Demonlands. He then jumped into action, colliding his now gray thunder cloud with the black mass to stop it out of its tracks just outside of the village's entrance.
The collision was successful, but the black cloud then physically manifested itself as a giant Nine Tailed Fox Demon, and the Tiger Spirit was then forced to physically manifest himself as well before they both engaged in combat. The tiger made full use of his thunder clouds, lightning, and physical attacks against the fox with a loud roar, but the battle carried on for quite a while until both were covered with bleeding open wounds from being almost evenly matched. Unfortunately, the fox had the upper hand and was about to deal the final blow to end the Tiger Spirit's existence and claim the village for it's own to enslave the villagers to his bidding. Just mere seconds before the hit landed, a silver shaft of light flew out of nowhere and the energy impaled the Nine Tailed Fox Demon in his right eye, staggering the fox and causing him to scream in pain from the arrow that was impaled in the socket as blood ran freely from the wound. The Tiger Spirit quickly whipped his head around to see with his hazel eyes that it was Matsu's one-month pregnant sister, Kagome Fudo, was standing in-front of the front gate of the village dressed in her festive Yukata with a bow in her left hand. The Tiger Spirit then understood that it was Kagome who had fired the silver tipped arrow at the fox demon. He then turned his attention back to his enemy and let out a loud roar as a spear of lightning impaled the fox right through the heart. The Nine Tailed Fox Demon then let out a chocked whimper from the force of the attack, and he was thrown onto his back and died as his form quickly started to crumble into dark gray ash.
All the villagers back in the village cheered and celebrated the Tiger Spirit's victory over the demon, but Kagome quickly ran to the tiger's side right as he collapsed on the ground and was becoming very close to succumbing to his wounds while his white fur was strained and soaked red with his blood that also poured from his mouth and deep wounds as well. Kagome immediately knelt down to the tiger and set down her bow; she desperately wanted to console him and heal his wounds, but it was impossible to give him the medical attention in time. She was just about to despair and grieve over the passing of the spirit, but she suddenly got an idea that might just be enough to save him.
"You've guarded and protected us countless times, and you've even sacrificed yourself just to save us from that wicked demon. Please, let me save you this once in return; you have my blessing to use my unborn child as a vessel so that you may live among us and be given a second chance yourself." Kagome said to the Tiger Spirit as he weakly glanced at the young woman with child, and he could sense that this was so ordinary child. No, this child held potential for great power that could one day possibly surpass a true God. Yes, this unborn son was destined to become a great warrior, and he found himself eager to see how far the boy's potential would go. The tiger smiled briefly before he stood back up on all fours with a whine of excruciating pain, but he was determined to endure as he got closer to her and pressed his nose against where her stomach was. The spirit then immediately passed through the fabric and was absorbed head-first into her stomach until his entire body was absorbed into her womb, where he was transformed into energy and fused permanently with the growing fetus inside her, as his new corporeal body. Kagome then stood up after picking up her bow and headed back to the village to celebrate, already feeling the spirit was fully restored and eternally grateful for the second chance she had given him willingly.
After he was born, Toma would have no memory of his life as the Tiger Spirit, and Kagome thought it best to keep most of the details of his past life a secret until he reached adulthood. Ever since his childhood however, Toma was full of energy and always eager to do some sort of physical activity, train, or even spar. Even at a young age, he was well-known for his power and increasing physical strength as he continued to push himself further each day and quickly became the strongest fighter in the village with strict regimens of discipline and meditation to keep his Ki under some level of control, even going as far as learning how to merge his Ki into physical attacks. It certainly was no surprise that he quickly became a big eater at an early age and held a love for food that would make any Saiyan proud, but his family was still cautiously optimistic since he was absolutely a Legendary Super Saiyan like his ancestor Broly. His family also was gracious enough to give him the decision whether or not to cut off his tail, and he chose to keep it as a symbol of his Saiyan Pride.
When he became a teenager, he became his uncle's Vassal and participated in a lot of work alongside him in addition to going to Oolong City on occasion to work in their restaurant business and start upscaling and expanding. By the time he reached his early 20s, bits and pieces of his memories as the Tiger Spirit started to come back to him in dreams and his mother explained as much as she could to him, now that he was ready to reconnect with his past divinity. Once he reached his mid 20s, Toma was officially inducted as the new Duke of Surf 'n Turf village and was in possession of several five-star restaurants in Oolong City along with making the village very wealthy and prosperous. However, as he continued to get older and fully remember his past life before he was Toma Fudo, he started to notice the friends he grew up with were getting a lot older than he was, and it was as if his own biological clock just stopped shortly after he became Duke. It was then that he came to the sad realization that he had now become ageless because his own divinity had finally caught up to him, cursing him with no longer being able to age a single day more. He then made the decision with himself that he would not get into a serious relationship with another mortal, and instead would wait and see if there was another deity out there in or outside of a mortal body that he could share the rest of his days with, and possibly be a very good husband to his partner. It has been a century now, since his mortal birth, and he is now the proud owner of almost every five-star restaurant in Oolong City and a mentor to his villagers. He now finds himself these days seeking new challenges, and he would very much like to take up a student of his own one day, should the opportunity present itself.
RP Sample: Toma was currently trudging knee deep in the river wearing nothing but a white Fundoshi with a large spear in hand. Why was this giant so scantly clad you ask? Well, he didn't want to get his clothes wet from the water, and it was a lot easier to wade in the water this way; even if he was giving his other villagers a nice view inadvertently. He was in search of a giant fish that had been plaguing the waterways for a while now and had taken out Sakuya's water wheel that was so crucial in milling the rice from the rice patties to use with food dishes and ferment for their stores of Sake. Without the water wheel, their staple for feeding the village and exporting for profit was greatly stifled until the situation was able to be remedied; which was why he was wading in the water, to catch the fiendish culprit and make a hearty feast out of them.
The duke stilled his movement and closed his eyes while he waited to hear the telltale signs of ripples in the water, to which he shot his eyes open and impaled the King Fish in the side with his spear. The ensuing struggle lasted for 5 minutes before the monster went limp for him to remove the spear and carry the giant fish on his shoulders with a prideful smile. He carried the fish all the way to the house of their butcher, and set it down in-front of the house for them to descale and fillet for that afternoon. They came the agreement that they would make a great Sushi feast out of the meat, so Toma immediately headed over to Sakuya's mill and worked on construction of a new water wheel; which he was able to complete in an hour to her excitement. Now inspired with newfound resolve, Sakuya immediately began work on milling rice and preparing her best Sake yet. In the meantime, Toma headed back to his mansion to get changed back into his Kosode and Hakama before starting on his own chores he had to finish before everyone in the village came to eat their new feast at the mansion and offer words of praise to their fearless leader.
