Yasu had no clue what he was doing in the Western Land. He found his trusty steed, the Ostrich Chicken "Shaozi" dragged him the wrong direction. He could not tell if it was due to hunger or not but this was the land his mother had come from even though her ancestry was unknown. Supposedly, it was a terrible place in her words. He got to see brief glimpses of that after the bird rushed him through the South Eastern Preserve and nearly dropped him in Little Vegeta. The place was crawling with tough, sunglass wearing Saiyans ready to beat small fry such as him to a pulp. He did not stay long and paid a small protection fee to leave.
After this, the bird dragged him north and would you not know, the place was filled with lush trees and undergrowth as he found himself head into the Korin Preserve a place with a tall white tower demarking the house of some type of cat. Martina, who was following at the time on a slow moving carpet from a distance back, approached as the young man stopped to remove his track coat and sat on Shaozi whilst the bird gulped down river water from a stream. He relaxed there with the upper half of his magic robes exposed, he left them hidden under street clothes to not attract other fighters who might place him as a martial artist. Their green fibers and white trimming along the shoulders stood out, yet what seemed more obvious was the symbol on his back a red ghost with a black outline holding a white meat bun in its hands. Next to it another matching ghost with a grey-edged scythe prepping to cut the other one down. It was the family symbol though one only recently sewn into the robe by Martina's fast hands.
The pull of someone behind him grabbed at his clothes made him twist his head and stared down at the dark skinned lass but noticed her death glare within her brown yes. "Yasu, you cannot wear the family symbol lightly sir. The Dead Meat Curse could draw all the wrong types of people and souls out for vengeance against the family."
Yasu felt himself drop into the folds of her purple and gold carpet as she pulled him down to her level and let him land sprawled out on her lap. "Sir, our family curse is dangerous."
"No joking... I feel it landed me into trouble already." He retorted. Finely trimmed nails slashed across his face and Martina hissed him. The lass's purple locks bent over his face and she immediately kissed him in a bold fashion. Yasu pushed her away then listened to her say, "I cannot lose you. You are the only connection to the Rou family left."
"No, I am not that way with you. If I am this way with anyone it will be Chiu." He told her standing up on the carpet.
"Chiu! That girl is almost half dead from what I understand, and besides, she cannot save you from this spell only I can! If you marry a proper princess such as me it could lift the woes you face. She does not possess a drop of Rou blood or connections, and-and she's laying in a tent!" Martina insisted loudly while pressing her hand to her chest.
"I don't even know if what you say is true or not, at least about the full extent of the curse." Yasu responded. "I don't know my family tree and you only have info on some of it, so I have come here to see the magic talking cat, witches, or whatever else lives here because they could have stolen it that knowledge."
Westerners were scum who prayed to a god who now did not help them. They built a fancy city and township and ruled over an empire no better than the demons of this world. If he was a prince he should rightfully rule somewhere and be one helping to reestablish the Central World Government or at least justify Martina' so-called Chow Mein Empire in the east whether or not Martina helped him run it. All he wanted from out here was the place of some old witch that the cat could have heard of based on old legends Martina heard. The thing was he could have gone all the same to Lilith Nevermore for that too but there was no guarantee she would help him nor have that info. A face seen twice on bad terms was just an issue ready to boil. He would need to visit her with Tiger Lily to smooth his transgressions over.
