Something was happening. The demon charged at him at incredible speed; managing to barrel roll out of the whipping of his swift energy attacks. In turn, those attacks spread out across the chasm, exploding in a violent domino chain of dome-shaped detonations. One after another, the domes grew to immense sizes, engulfing dozens of the demon's underlings, ripping their bodies to pieces and leaving nothing but ashes in their wake. Many of the demons, who managed to dodge the heat and the crushing pressure, were sent hurtling through the air, spinning wildly, head over heels, like rag dolls. They were thrown about by the force of the detonations, bounced across the floor, against the cliff walls, and against each other.
The force of the explosions shredded feet off the cliff face on all sides, chunks of stone hurtling through the air, crumbling to dust before vanishing.
DANGER, DANGER, DANGER.
His HUD was sounding an internal alarm. His eyes widened as he saw the attack forming, growing, swelling in size. It grew almost to the size of a small moon; except, that was no moon.
DANGER ASSESSMENT...CALCULATING... THREAT LEVEL? ... CALCULATING... DANGER ASSESSMENT... PLANETARY LEVEL. THREAT LEVEL...HIGH... CASUALTY PROBABILITY...CALCULATING... CASUALTY PROBABILITY...
The entire planet's population. The number kept growing, rising and rising until it reached the billions. This attack would not just glass the desert, it could potentially lead to the destruction of the entire planet.
The attack was being powered up. He had to take the very little time he had left to find a way to deal with it; how many ways could he come up with dealing with this? Could he stop it? Could he exert enough power to stop this attack in its tracks?
CALCULATING PROBABILITY... 19%...
That was better than 0% but it wasn't good enough. There had to be another way...Perhaps if he redirected it...
He raised both arms. He slammed both feet into the ground, his heels digging into the floor as he anchored himself.
CALCULATING PROBABILITY OF SUCCESS... PROBABILITY OF SUCCESS... 35%...
Still better than 19%.
Power began to collect, to surge throughout his body. Electricity racing up and down his legs, around his body. The pebbles on the ground around his feet rising into the air around him.
The massive attack was casting its shadow across the area. The minions were either staring in shock, some were fleeing with their boss currently distracted, and others were cheering, egging their leader to 'crush the tin man.'
"Do you really think you're strong enough to stop me!?" The demon's arrogant cackling filled the air, rolling out from deep within his chest as he watched the android amassing power in a, in his mind, desperate attempt, to stop the inevitable.
"Stop you? No, this attack of yours is quite strong," The cyborg spoke honestly, "However, that is not my current objective," He muttered, more to himself than the demon.
"What are you up to?" The demon snarled, glaring down at the cyborg, watching as he pulled power, the air around Vidar was flaring with flames.
CALCULATING PROBABILITY OF SUCCESS... PROBABILITY OF SUCCESS... 50%...
He couldn't stop the attack. It was getting closer. But he could divert it. Hopefully. With a roar akin to a dragon, the energy he collected was fired outward. But not directly at the incoming attack. It struck it at a particular angle; the attack colliding into it at just the right angle at just the right moment. And he detonated it. The force of the detonation changed the trajectory of the attack; the massive sphere now flying up toward the sky; the demon's mouth slack as he watched his most powerful attack change direction, fly high into the sky and then detonate above them. The force sending shockwaves that cracked and shook the earth for miles. Miles away, cities shook and objects fell off tables; the farther away the city was, the lighter the effect.
"I will destroy you!" The demon spat out and charged towards him once again; the cyborg pulling himself out of the ground, which he had been buried up to his knees in by the force of the attack. Vidar attempted to leap out of the way just in time to avoid a powerful punch, but the demon was fast. The blow struck him on the cheek, slamming him back against the ground; the force of the impact buried him an inch into the earth and it cracked the ground, gouged it rather deeply.

Once Grisha had safely reached a point in the sky where he could observe, his brows rose and eyes widened when the red demon summoned a mini moon of energy. Vidar appeared prepared to take it and the giant watched with fascination as the cyborg planted his feet and diverted the attack. Stupidly, Grisha followed the rising sphere with his eyes not even anticipating the explosion that would happen next. The detonation surprised the Saiyan. He crossed his arms before his face and the shockwave threw him from his Mokuzai. The pressure and force carried Grisha away like a strong tide and slammed him into the ground above the ravine. He was completely buried beneath stone and dust by the time the waves ceased fluctuating. A stone on top of the rock pile tumbled free before Grisha sat upwards. More stones spilled, and he wildly shook his head as an orange plume rose off his thick hair. There was a sour frown on his face as he thought about how many times he had been blown up in one day. He didn’t like the energy attacks, mainly because he couldn’t use them himself, but also because they were so destructive. Grisha stood from the pile and glanced around for his flying log, wondering if it had been caught up in the blast too. Not too far away, he saw the piece of wood protruding from the ground like a beam. He jogged over to it, wrapped his arms around it, and with one strong pull he popped it free. Releasing it, the log floated into the air and drifted close to Grisha in appreciation. The giant gave it a pat before he told it sternly, “Help Metal Man.” He turned and raced toward the edge of the cliff. Grisha sprang into the air, and the Mokuzai darted beneath him. They soared over the ravine, scanning the ground for any demons, but specifically, the big red one Vidar had been fighting. The army appeared to have been scattered by the multiple bombardments and the affects of the planet-busting blast. Grisha watched the red demon assault the android, and he scowled. He and his Mokuzai started to rapidly dive at an angle. The log eventually flew faster, darting out from beneath Grisha’s feet. It moved swifter than an arrow. Having no ki signature, the trunk successfully caught the demon commander off guard. The log slammed into the side of the devil’s face, causing his head to turn from the impact. His orange, glowing eyes were large in shock. He had to use the muscles in his neck to stop his head from twisting 360 degrees. A few seconds after, Grisha landed. His titanic fist struck the side of the demon’s head so hard, his body left the ground, flipping in mid-air like a rag doll. The ground had ruptured and upheaved beneath Grisha’s weight, creating orange stalagmites around him. He grabbed the red commander’s leg while he was still spinning and turned, swinging him around like an ax to slam his body into the cliff wall. It was almost comical the way the demon’s arms and legs were splayed cartoonishly. The Saiyan hadn’t relinquished his grip on him before he changed directions, twisting around and slamming him back first into the wall. “GET OUT!” Grisha yelled as though he were performing some unorthodox exorcism. The demon commander’s teeth were borne. The G-force from Grisha’s swing had made it impossible for him to move. It had felt like his body was being pulled so taut that it could snap. Purple blood erupted from his mouth when he struck the wall. He felt his body then dragged across the wall in an upward direction. The friction of the uneven and jagged rock dragging across his face made him growl angrily. Up and over, and then he saw the ground rush toward his face. SLAM!The ground imploded beneath him. “GET OUT! GET OUT!” Grisha shouted over and over like an exorcising chant. Violet dripped from the red commander’s face as his back bowed. The giant was lifting him, and unlike before, he wasn’t at the mercy of his swings. The red demon bent forward at the hips and held out his hands in Grisha’s face. “DAMN YOU!” he hissed. The black and red, crackling sphere of energy expanded from his hands. It slammed into Grisha, forcing his hand to release its grip on him. The giant’s arms wrapped around the growing orb. Growling, he planted his feet and his tail curled behind him. The red commander’s eyes swelled in shock when he saw his orb struggling to grow. Grisha took a shaky step forward. The muscles in his arms, back, and thighs were swollen with the strength he was using to suppress the attack. His arms compressed the energy, causing the orb to shrink until he held it between his hands like a volleyball. The red commander felt his legs give out. He collapsed upon his bottom, watching Grisha’s hands crush the orb until it sizzled out on a grey stream of smoke like a flame. “Wh-what do you want?” the demon commander finally asked. His army was practically destroyed. He was the only one alive who could have stood somewhat of a chance. “Who sent you to do this?” Grisha clapped his hands together, ridding them of smoke, and then glanced over at Vidar. He knew what they were supposed to do, but he wasn’t confident in all the talking. He barely spoke common language. WC: 922 | 10,828 Tag: Vidar (PROJECT: RAGNAROK)

The potency of that energy attack had been so great that Vidar had been shoved, back and down, his body forced deeper into the earth, almost up to his knees. It was only by sheer luck, and good construction, that he didn't buckle under the weight of his own power as he felt the two attacks collide. He felt the way his own attack detonated. He felt the pressure. He felt the heat and the force and the shockwaves. The demon, in turn, felt it too. He stared, mouth agape, eyes like saucers, as the mini moon attack that he had charged up, with a large amount of his power, was not stopped or detonated, but redirected.
How had he managed to do that? No one has ever managed to stop him before, not his attacks, and certainly not that one. This not only filled with the demon with a swelling of confusion but also rage. His eyes became slits radiating rage, his lips curled back into a twisted snarl.
He could not lose. Not now. Not ever. He charged, screaming and roaring his rage toward the blonde metal man, who had barely managed to pull himself out of the earth, when the demon appeared in front of him and socked him, hard, across the face. He felt a sick sense of pleasure as he saw the tin man slam into the earth, embed himself into it, as if he were trying to wrap himself up in a blanket of rock and topsoil. He had been about to attack again when he felt it, that flying log slammed into his face with such force that his head almost twisted a full 360 degrees, and if it weren't for his powerful neck muscles, he would have been very much a dead demon.
These two are really getting on his nerves.
"You muscle bound son of a - " The demon didn't even finish his sentence before he was struck, viciously, and then slammed about like some kind of a rag doll, slammed against the walls and the ground, all while Grisha screamed at him, roaring like some wild beast, for him to get out. When he was finally released, when he finally was no longer being slammed about from here to there, the demon was worse for wear and he was swaying on his feet, glaring through squinted eyes, looking very much as if he'd been run over several times.
Vidar, by that point, had pulled himself up out of the ground. He popped his neck, his joints, with loud audible POP crack POP sounds that emitted and echoed throughout the area as he rubbed his shoulders. It was a good thing that he had no pain receptors in his arms. He turned his yellow and black eyes toward the demon.
"We were sent by our master to remove you from the body you are currently inhabiting." Vidar openly confessed, a bit too honestly answering the demon's question. "We were given instruction to drive you out of that body, and we will do just that. However, we were not given much in terms of instruction on the removal of a demon from a honest, so this may be quite uncomfortable for you." He continued, a certain cold disconnect in his eyes, a detachment that was clearly visible, as he looked down at the demon with the same distant uncaring expression as a scientist looking down upon a cellular specimen in a petri dish.
"Your master? Who the hell is that?" The demon snarled, taking a half step back, as he looked around. His army, if he could call what was left of his minions an army, were far enough away, scattered all over the ruined battlefield, that he did not have to worry about them seeing him backing up from his two enemies.
"The Fist of the South Star... I am sure you are aware of who that is... He sent us here. Now, if you would be so kind as to leave that body; otherwise, my big friend here is going to try to remove you by force again," He motioned over to Grisha as the demon peered over at him, growling.

The corner of the red demon commander’s mouth quirked upward in confusion at Vidar’s declaration. He hadn’t been possessing anyone, but it had only taken him a moment to realize who he was referring to. He threw up his hands when Grisha punched the palm of his fist and flared his nostrils with a menacing expression. “Wait; wait; wait; you got the wrong demon!” he frantically exclaimed. The last thing he wanted was to be slammed all over the place again by the stupid one. “You are referring to my Lord Jaaku.” A confident and sharp-toothed grin expanded on the commander’s face. “You may have decimated my army, but Jaaku-sama needs no army. You would have stood more of a chance if your South Star Master had come with you.” Feeling bold and protected by the power of his lord, the commander rose to his feet, slapped his hands upon his hips, puffed out his chest, and boisterously laughed, “BAH HA HA HA! You idiots should go crawling back to your master! My army has softened you, and with the stupid one unable to fly or use energy, you’re better off finding a gateway to Hell and going there yourselves!” Grisha arched a brow at the Stupid One reference and slowly started glancing over his shoulder as though expecting the one the demon was referring to be there. The commander frowned at Grisha as a tear drop slid down the back of his head. He continued his tirade, “Lord Jaaku needs no army. Even in the body of a wimpy human, my lord will crush you and revive us! You are wasting your time!” Grisha snorted and scowled over at Vidar before he pointed accusatively at the commander. “Stupid red man talk too much!” A knot of veins flashed on the demon’s forehead before he exploded, “You’re the Stupid One!” Grisha’s eyes widened as though the realization suddenly slapped him in the face. He pointed at himself in disbelief. “Grisha stupid?” His eyes then side-glanced Vidar as though wondering if he agreed with the demon. As though enraged by Grisha’s ignorance, the commander clenched his fists and screamed, “YES! YOU’RE STUPID! IT DOESN’T TAKE A GENIUS TO DEDUCE THAT!” Grisha’s bottom lip turned upward in rage and he made a motion to grab the commander until a foreign voice resounded overhead in laughter. Grisha glanced upward to see a teenager. He wore the green gi of the Wolf School. His black hair was bladed and stood upward, his eyes were blood-red, and a pentagram was glowing crimson on his forehead. The voice that cackled from the fighter’s body had a depth that didn’t match, and it hummed with a supernatural power. The possessed teen dragged a thumb across his eyes, wiping away bloodied tears. “How entertaining. Commander Hason, you never reported that your army was wiped out by two clowns.” Commander Hason’s over-confident tone immediately faltered at the sight of the teenager. “U-uh, Lord Jaaku, we were just talking about you.” Jaaku rested his hands upon his hips and smiled. “I overheard. I enjoyed watching the whole thing.” Grisha was giving the teenager a strange stare. The voice that was coming out of him was unusual. Teenagers didn’t sound like that. Meanwhile, Commander Hason wondered if Lord Jaaku had been suppressing his ki signature to watch the entire fight. The demon started to sweat, wondering if he overheard his threats of betrayal earlier. He hadn’t even tried to save the army. If Jaaku had joined him, then the android and the buffoon wouldn’t be standing. “These two weaklings were sent by the South Star to exorcise you.” Jaaku confidently guffawed and said, “Really? How unfortunate I won’t be able to grant them that training. This body has enough youth to sustain me for years. When I age into my prime, I will be able to destroy this planet with a sneeze. Although…” He grasped his chin thoughtfully and looked down at Vidar. “A stronger body would be nicer.” “The blond one is just a machine my lord,” Hason informed. “Darn.” Hason then looked to Grisha. “The big one is a moron.” Grisha stomped his foot and growled, “NO MORON!” Jaaku closed his eyes in defeat and sighed in exasperation: “Sheesh, why is finding a good body so difficult?” “NO MORE TALK!” Grisha yelled before he leapt into the air toward Jaaku. The teenaged demon lord thrust out his hand in Grisha’s direction, and a blast of ki sent the giant flying backwards into the ravine wall in the form of a blur. A fissure cut into the canyon, tracing Grisha’s line of travel. Hason gawked in shock at his lord’s strength in just an adolescent’s body. Jaaku bent his arm and rolled it at the shoulder in a stretch as he arrogantly stated, “It’ll take a few minutes for him to come back if he’s still alive. That just leaves me and you (Vidar).” He smiled wickedly, “Two versus one doesn’t seem fair. Hason, you can sit this one out.” “Thank you my-” Jaaku thrust his hand in Hason’s direction, and in a sudden flash the red demon commander exploded, sprinkling his remains about the vicinity. The demon lord’s lips parted maliciously as he gazed upon Vidar. “Now, let’s see how well you were built.” WC: 885 | 12,413 Tag: Vidar (PROJECT: RAGNAROK)

The look on the demon's face, the twitch of his lips, and how he stared at the two of them were not exactly the reaction that Vidar had been expecting. In fact, he had been expecting the demon to react completely differently; he was being told that they were sent to deal with him, to exorcise him, by the Fist of the South Star. How did Vidar expect him to react? Well, with more recognition of the situation he found himself in. But, from the look of utter bewilderment that crossed his features as soon as he explained why the two of them were there, it was clear that he did not understand what was happening.
That was all before he dropped the little bomb on the two of them. He was not the demon that they had been searching for. He was a demon but he was not the demon, which was a rather large, and very important, distinction. They were looking for someone by the name of Lord Jaaku? So this demon that they've been dealing with this entire time was an underling of the demon they were sent to hunt down?
That was somewhat bothersome. If only their master had given them more precise information; perhaps the demon's name or their precise location. Well, right now, there wasn't much he could do about it but finish his mission as the master commanded.
"If you are not the demon we are searching for, then we have no more business with you."
And the demon continued to speak, digging himself deeper into the hole with the mammoth angry one, Grisha. He called him stupid, repeatedly, something which confused the big wall of muscle quite openly until the realization hit him that he was being insulted.
When Grisha turned to look at the blonde cyborg, he peered over at him with his strange yellow and black eyes and looked him straight in the eyes as he replied to his question, "I have yet to see any reason to call you stupid."
He then turned his eyes back to the demon in question.
"If you are not the one we are looking for, then call the one you call Lord Jaaku." And as if by grand providence, there Lord Jaaku was, appearing above them all, visibly shocking the demon they had been fighting all that time.
Jaaku did have the body of a young man. His uniform betrayed the school he was a part of. His odd voice did not match his body.
"Technically speaking, I am a cyborg." The blonde corrected as he was not fully an android, as he was once human and was upgraded through repeated experimentation. "The mistake is quite easy to make. However, I am currently using this body so you cannot have it."
This was getting to be a very strange encounter. They had already decimated an army of demons, Grisha bested its leader, and now it turned out the leader of that army was just a subordinate for another.
"Odd how you say we are weaklings when a few seconds ago, you were my big friend's rag doll...Your face impacted there... and there...and there..." Vidar peered over at the various spots where the demon's face made contact with the ground, his eyes turning to look back at him with a blank expression, stating everything in a matter of fact tone.
Everything that happened after that was somewhat of a blur, as it all happened in rapid fire succession; Grisha lost his patience and attacked the real demon, Jaaku, the demon in turn blasted Grisha with such force that the big man was slammed into the earth and buried into it, vanishing from sight, and then Jaaku decimated his own underling with an attack so vicious that it scattered what little remained of him as an expressionist painting across the ground.
ANALYZING... THREAT LEVEL... HIGH. ACTIVATE BOOSTERS...? Y/N....Y ACTIVATING BOOSTERS...
His power flared around him. White hot flames surging around his body and licking at the air around him as he turned his eyes away from where Grisha had disappeared to and up to the demon that had swatted the big man away. His eyes narrowed. A look of growing annoyance on his face and yet it remained somewhat expressionless at the same time. His fists clenching as electricity raced up and down his limbs.
"You will find that I am built far stronger than you think." The demon's smirk only grew wider at Vidar's response as he raised his arm, aiming at Vidar's direction, preparing to unleash a similar technique onto him that he had done to Grisha.
He would find, however, that Vidar was fast. He zipped out of the way, kicking off the ground with such force that the earth shattered beneath his feet and he shot into the air. His speed gave off the impression that he simply disappeared then reappeared elsewhere, this time in the air, flying toward Jaaku, then he disappeared again, and reappeared, elsewhere in the air. He was still flying toward the demon but constantly vanishing and reappearing, closing the cap as he zigzagged through the air, not only to try and avoid that potent energy attack, but keep the demon guessing as to where he was going to appear. Unlike Grisha who bum rushed the demon in a blind fury, Vidar charged him in a zigzag pattern, never giving him the chance to guess just where he would appear next.
He did not appear in front of the demon. Rather, he appeared above the demon, as he aimed down towards him and unleashing a barrage of tightly compacted energy blasts, the Joker technique that had decimated a large portion of the desert landscape at some point or another.
He had done things somewhat differently, rather than charging blindly, he went at him using something tactical to avoid being blasted away. But the demon was faster than he had anticipated, the attack tearing through empty space as the demon appeared immediately in front of him after it had been fired and that same technique that hit Grisha, slammed into Vidar and sent him hurtling through the air and slamming into the earth as a large crater spread out quite wide and deep with the android being buried deep in the center of it.
"Is this the best the Fist of the South Star could do, really?" The cruel demon chuckled dryly.

With a thunderous explosion, Grisha emerged from the side of a cliff face, rolling across the dirt. His legs passed over his head, the momentum carrying him for the last few tumbles until he sprawled out on his back. His body slid across the sandy ground. His teeth and eyes were clenched in pain. The attack had knocked the wind out of him. When he cracked open a single eye to gaze at the exit hole the demon’s attack had forced him through, the reality that he had been blasted through a cliff was settling in. The cliff could have been the only thing that broke his momentum. If it hadn’t been there, he wasn’t sure how far he would have travelled. Grisha carefully rolled onto his side as though his body ached too much to properly move. He had been blown up, barraged, and pummeled. Like tenderized meat, his tough body was starting to break down. His muscles were trembling and hands shaking. He needed to beat the demon before it beat him. As though the evil were reading his thoughts, a blur appeared before Grisha’s eyes forming into the boy from earlier. There was a long and excited smile on his face as though he were enjoying himself. His red eyes and furrowed brows still bore the malice of the creature possessing him. “I thought you would have come back by now. Did I hit you too hard?” Lord Jaaku mocked. Grisha’s nose wrinkled, and he growled at the demon like a large beast. There was a violent gleam in his dark eyes as he stared down the teenager. What had he done to the metal one? He hadn’t gotten a chance to see what may have happened before they were separated. “Oh, that’s right. If I recall, Hason said you can’t fly or use energy attacks.” Lord Jaaku flopped onto his back in mid-air. His arms crossed over his stomach as he kicked his feet in laughter. “How did someone so useless give Hason such a hard time? You’re nothing but a dumb ape!” “Metal man!” Grisha suddenly hailed. Lord Jaaku instantly ceased laughing. His red eyes were wide and large in surprise. Had the machine recovered that quickly? He hadn’t even detected his approach. He quickly scanned the sky above him with his eyes and then craned his head back, peering into the dark tunnel he had created at Grisha’s expense. Seeing no one, Lord Jaaku rocked forward into the air in time to see a massive fist hooking around toward his face. His heart skipped, and he leaned back as Grisha’s fist passed before him. The force surrounding his speeding fist caused the boy’s shocked face to ripple. What he hadn’t expected was for Grisha to follow the punch through. The giant turned full circle and his tail whipped around catching the demon by surprise as it struck the side of his jaw. Lord Jaaku spiraled before he threw out his arms and legs to halt his spinning in mid-air. His lips were wrinkled with offense while he glared at the laughing Saiyan. “Stupid! Made look!” Grisha jeered with a large, amused grin. Lord Jaaku’s face instantly flashed red as Grisha smugly added, “Grisha no fall for dumb joke. Star Head SO dumb!” WC: 548 | 14,036 Tag: Vidar (PROJECT: RAGNAROK)
