Jack ignored the children as they banged on the vehicle and shouted angrily at Judy while he watched Grisha's eyebrows rise and knit together in a twitch as the Saiyan struggled to comprehend the story that Jack was telling. The hybrid jumped a little when the Saiyan roared in irritation from the explanation, Jack then chuckled to himself when he heard the Saiyan's confusion and shook his head slightly. "It's fine! Sorry to confuse you, but Tuffles are not mushroom aliens. They look like humans, but their skin turns yellow when they get older and they typically lack the physical strength and Ki control that Saiyans usually possess. Instead, they rely on machines, devices, guns, grenades, and swords as a means of combat. One of these devices were large water tanks that could contain a body like mine or yours within a sleep-like state. Since Saiyans typically had names that sounded like vegetables, the Tuffles called these tanks 'Pickle Jars'." He explained briefly to Grisha before pausing when Grisha got a call from Judy and he watched as Grisha hung up with her before returning his attention to the hybrid once more. "The Saiyans and the Tuffles were once the two native races on Planet Plant. Over time, the Tuffle leadership became prejudiced and fearful of the Saiyan race, and resorted to waging war with the Saiyans and took it upon themselves to experiment, torture, and study Saiyans to give themselves an edge in the war. Fortunately, the Saiyans would eventually win the war and their descendants would make a life for themselves on this planet." Jack finished explaining to Grisha calmly with the hope that the Saiyan would have a better grasp of the information now. WC: 287 | 7502 Tag: Grisha

Tuffles weren’t mushrooms, so not like truffles. Grisha frowned as he concentrated on what Jack was further clarifying to him. They looked like humans and turned yellow. That was weird. He smirked when Jack said they were physically weaker than Saiyans, but it was short-lived when he mentioned the lack of ki control. Unfortunately, Grisha could relate. He knew what it was like to be incapable of using ki. No matter how hard he tried, it was as if he just wasn’t physically capable. “Pickle jars…” Grisha repeated thoughtfully. “I am Saiyan. My name Grisha. Grisha no sound like vegetable.” He then grinned in amusement. “Vegetable name. That sounds stupid.” Jack confirmed the story Barlei and Okora once shared about Saiyans being from another planet. Lena had told Grisha that he was from off-planet, but he didn’t remember anything about it. “My family find me in ice not in pickle jar. I find baby sister Okora in ice too. She remembers past. I do not. Lena say my brain broke because of ice. That is why I no remember and I no can do some things. I wish I know more, but brothers and sisters no remember me.” Grisha inhaled a breath and exhaled it through his nostrils. He didn’t like talking about the depressing subject and the breath he had taken was his way of moving the topic along. “Grisha help Jack find pickle jars. Maybe learn more about Truffles.” WC: 241 | 7,743 Tag: Jack Pota

Jack smiled nervously as Grisha gathered his thoughts on the notion that vegetable names were stupid in Grisha's opinion. "I agree it does sound unorthodox, but I think you might also find it amusing to know that Tuffles are named after fruit." He awkwardly elaborated to the Saiyan before hearing what Grisha had to say about his sister and himself being found in ice. "Ice, huh? That sounds like you were found up north..." Jack assumed quietly as he crossed his arms across his chest while he began to wonder if there was a crash site there that had Tuffle documentation that could bring to light more on the events that ran parallel to his own past. There was still so much that he didn't know and was not privy to whatsoever, even his knowledge of Saiyans was still a work in progress at the moment. "Hm? Yes, that won't be at all difficult because they always have an exhaustive amount of logs and documentation at their facilities and ships that are kept on local back-ups. Pickle Jars won't be hard to come by either, I assume." Jack added to his conversation with Grisha before turning his attention back to Judy after careful consideration and walked in the direction of the mob of children. "C'mon, we have a damsel in distress to save. I doubt you'll hear the end of it otherwise..." Jack said and motioned the Saiyan over to offer assistance in quelling the anger of the children. "I think that'll be enough for reconsideration children, let me talk to her." He said before motioning Judy to roll down the window. WC: 272 | 8015 Tag: Grisha
