Will waited for Kinryu to arrive, he healed up after the spar finally but it was time for a much needed talk to him about what happened during the spar and why they shouldn't have done what they have done. And most importantly to tell Kinryu to go find another instructor cause Will does not deserve to be his master or a teacher currently. What they did was dishonorable and Kinryu got hurt badly because of Will's "strategy". He figured it'd be better to tell him on the island where he sparred with his friend Cilan. It would hopefully soften the blow of what he is going to be telling him.
For now he waited for Kinryu to show up. He was crouched in a meditation position on a wake at the beach side. Waves crashing down at the shore. Tropical birds singing within the canopies of the jungle behind Will. The sea breeze gently blowing across his fur.
A good time as any for self reflection while he waits for Kinryu. Is it the pressure, the stress, the various weirdness he had to deal with getting to him. After all he was recently told that he is now a type of Youkai known as a Bakeneko by a witch that lives on an island with just an otter for company and that's not the strangest thing that has happened in his life lately. Or maybe he is just looking for excuses for his behavior for where there are none. Perhaps he'll go somewhere for a vacation like Pilaf Land or something for a while before he can continue his training to see if he can collect himself and feel any better from all of this.

Post by Kinryu "The Shinryu" Kyto on Aug 24, 2021 22:31:51 GMT -8
Kinyru Kyto was eager to find his way riding upon his blue kinto-un, Tsunami to the island he had first met Master Will O-Wisp’s to train with him again since he had returned home to the Southern Islands to recuperate these past several months from that last bout with Grenn and Princess Clove Tea. Kinryu was silently hoping sincerely that Grenn was not stuck with any regrets from that match. Kinryu knew well that he had thrown many insults at him during that bout, but he hopes that Grenn realizes that was merely part of his fighting strategy to test him. Because Kinryu had learned long ago that in a fight there are three key things that must be damaged in order to defeat a true warrior. Their strength, speed, and determination, if you can destroy one of these three things the other two will crumble shortly after that. As Kinryu Kyto got closer to the island his sense of ki not only helped him find Master Will O-Wisp’s actual location, but Kinryu also noticed a slightly disturbing feeling come from him. Kinryu leaped up into the air immediately to fly over to see Master Will O-Wisp was resting in a state of meditation. “Hello, Master Will.” “I have to admit I was surprised you chose to come back here.” As Kinryu looked around the Island memories of him sparring often with Celerai came back to him. Smiling as he silently remembered shocking that other Saiyan with his Static Pulse technique. Kinryu hoping to one day see how strong his friend is now. “Why is that?” Word Count: 268 Tag: Will O. It seemed thanks to his own Kinto-un Kinryu was here faster then he expected as he sensed him rapidly approaching. He was hoping he would have more time to mentally prepare. As soon as Kinryu enthusiastically leaped onto shore Will got out of his meditation state. "And good to see you on such short notice," Will said. Will then got up and stretched his arms and legs out much like one would see a cat do before he began to stand straight up. Kinryu is curious about why this island was picked specifically to be where they would told to come to. "If you were hoping for a spar that is not the case, I wanted a private and quiet place for us to talk so we won't be distracted by anything." Will said. Although deep down he is afraid of saying this in front of the other Martial Artists of the Turtle School, while he let Barkley know about his faults he needs to overcome Barkley said it's best that they let the others still think he is wise and infallible for now until he gain grow to meet those expectations. It felt dirty lying to them but if they learned what Will did after he spent that time teaching them and what not they might lose all trust in him and quit Martial Arts. And he sees potential in each of them. And especially he sees potential in Kinryu. Will then looked towards Kinryu, he stood up on the rock he was meditating on so that he was able to meet Kinryu's height. "This is about the spar, that strategy we did, ganging up on Grenn was dishonorable and should have never been attempted and should never be attempted again. If anything you should have handled him on your own while I took care of Clove but instead we ganged up on the weaker one. I was desperate to win even if it was a spar and because of that you were badly injured which is why...I am thinking you should look for a different teacher." Will said. It was hard for him to say that, cause unlike Celerai who he has no idea of the whereabouts of Kinryu has been in contact with him more. It felt good to be a master again if it only a pipe dream. Though he knows deep down this is the best course of action. Word Count: 405 Total Word Count: 691 Tag: Kinryu "The Shinryu" Kyto
