Renkon had been looking out over the bay since he had spoken to the others, and the plans were laid down for what would happen in the next few days. It was nice to have a plan set instead of simply wandering. He stood again upon a rocky outcropping, his arms crossed behind his back as he watched the tides. All the time he had spent when the war was over, letting his arm heal in a sling while he helped on various fishing crews. The oceans had once been so full of life, but the war had seen a change to that. Fighting the Tuffle Machines over the water had poisoned sections of it, causing fish to be smaller, weaker, more sickly... Or in some places to simply die off outright. It had made life hard, cold, and dangerous, but food was always needed. The land animals had been decimated in the war as well, so it was a fend for your own type situation while King Vegeta had tried to bring some form of order.
It had not worked as fast as many people had expected it to. How many of those damned things had he battled in the waning days of the war? How many of his friends had he seen slain by the Tuffles? He respected them for their skill, their ability to exploit the smallest opening... But he hated them for the same thing. He was covered in scars from the war, two had nearly taken his life, but his fury, his raw will to live, had allowed him to pull through the surgeries and hope that was done for him. How much blood had been spilled upon those red sands? It didn't matter now. His eyes cleared as he shook his head, looking back out over the ocean, heading closer to the bay now, watching the ships that moved around between the islands, between the points that made up the human colonies and everything else in the world. It was almost fragile with how beautiful it was. It was like a vision of what could have been.
Part of him wondered if the community he had been part of had been able to spring back despite all six of them being lost. If they did, and if the planet did recover, would it have looked like this? Would these people be markers of what the Saiyans could do on their own homeworld if given enough time? He wanted to think so, as it was the best possible option really. They had sprung back, the oceans and world had slowly recovered, the people would remain warriors, as they always had, but they had a new way to focus it, heading into space and dealing with things out there. It was a dirty job, but if King Vegeta was smart, he would use that time to work on the world, to spread his people out a little bit, and make sure that the race could endure. Use a strike squad to take out a world and claim it as their own... Set up a colony like what was seen here. It wasn't much really, but it could help in the long run. Planet Vegeta could have become one of the brightest worlds in the galaxy. The wealth of technology, the power of the Saiyans, their ability to adapt to even the harshest of landscapes and thrive. They could have been the greatest force in the Galaxy... But yet, only a handful seemed to be here... Plus the words of the former Lieutenant, that the Saiyans had become the laughing stock of the universe. He was curious as to what that meant, but at this point, it didn't matter. He would find out on his own in time it seemed.
He had been watching this when something odd started to appear. People on some kind of machines, and riding the backs of odd looking water animals. Such an odd collection of things. At first, it seemed like nothing more than young adults having fun... At least until they circled around the first boat. Renkon couldn't help but frown now. This was something he recognized almost instantly, bandits of their own kind. While King Vegeta had attempted to gain control once the war was over, there was plenty of in fighting, banditry, and settling of ancient grudges. People tearing across the lands pillaging resources and acting little better than the foes that they had once done battle with. He watched the group as they did the shake down, his eyes focused on them and his frown deepening. If he could fly, he would just have flown over there, simply dealt with it once and for all... But at this time, this wasn't his world, this wasn't his people...
'Yet...' Seemed to whisper across his mind, and the frown stopped. His arms uncrossed from his back and he took a deep breath. "Too far to make it in a single jump, and I can't jump off water... Yet..." He said, turning towards the road and walking down it. These bandits would probably be at this a while, they have to break even at least, make their little raid with it. Shaking down a single fishermen was not going to be enough for what they want. No, greed compelled more creatures than it didn't. They would pay for that greed with their lives. With a smirk, he walked down the road, heading for the docks. It would take some time to get there, but he was sure it wouldn't matter in the long run. The fishermen would have little to fear of these fools when he was done with them. While he couldn't fly, he could still use his energy, still focus his power, and he was still in the upper class for power. His near death experiences had pushed him to nearly elite status, but not quite to that maker... Combined with the loss of power from the spell used on him, he needed to find a way to return to his old self.

Pecan Island. One of a great number of Southern Islands. One that just so happened to be on Konja's itinerary today. It was after another early shift, and she had decided to try island hopping this time. Though most Earthers meant that in a figurative sense. Not so much literally hopping from one island to another, but usually taking a boat and sailing between them. Certainly a scenic route, if you enjoyed open water, and watching landmasses slowly rise from behind the horizon. But the farmer, militia scout, and cashier did not think too much of that great volume of water called the ocean. Sure, you could dive and catch some truly gigantic fish. And yes, the sea breeze was amazing. But each island had its own sights, cultures, and nature to offer. And so, after finishing her shift, she rode off to the spot on Ensalada Island that faced Pecan, put her chopper in a capsule, and took off. She was still boasting "rookie numbers" when it came to flight speed, as Tara once quoted the locals. But at least she was improving. The trip over ocean and a few other incidental islands was short, and she found herself landing at Pecan Island's ferry port. The tourists were slow today. Not a lot to speak of. But there was an ebb and flow that the local tourist industry understood. Most days, few came. Usually locals from surrounding islands with some time on their hands for the afternoon. Not a lot, but a respectable number enough to survive. Like a fast. Some days, however, tourists would flood in. Usually on weekends, and usually by moneyed people journeying from South City or other developed areas, who tended to stay longer. Today was not one of those days. Konja pressed the actuator on her capsule, and the customised Wolf Fang chopper appeared in a puff of smoke, ready to ride as the moment she had gotten off earlier. With a quick mount and kick to the starter, she was riding down the coastal road, wind blasting through her dark hair. It was different from flying. The gravity of feeling the road beneath one's tires was something she had found as a unique pleasure on its own. A well-oiled machine built to traverse deserts and other dangerous environments without issue. There was no doubt in her mind that joining that contest some time ago was the right thing to do. Hopefully, she would find something interesting to see here today... As she came upon the bay, the yam farmer sensed an approaching ki force. Well, more like she was the one approaching them, if the direction was anything to go by. At this rate, this familiar energy was probably walking... The chopper rose above the top of the hill, and just as the bay that split a village in half came into view, so too did a familiar wild hair and set of battered traditional armour. Renkon: the warrior who saw the end of the war. Who found himself serving an alien empire that paid warrior races like the Saiyans to exterminate the populations of whole planets, all so they could claim and sell them. It wasn't particularly something she found tasteful. There was no honour in slaying foes who could not fight back - or in his case, used strange magick to do so. But he did it to earn for his village. That much, she understood. And if it meant the survival of your kin, honour would have to take a back seat. Konja pulled up next to him and removed her helmet. She didn't really need one, of course, but the laws here demanded such, and she simply did not want the hassle of having to deal with authorities flagging her down for not wearing a helmet... "Hail, Renkon. Where are you headed? Maybe I can give you a lift." She pointed her thumb at the seating space behind her. "It's not like the steeds on the homeworld, but it is still fast and dependable on rugged ground."[677/1692] Renkon

He had been so absorbed by his own thoughts and ideas, that he had nearly missed the odd machine moving down the road. When the helmet was removed, it was Konja. He smiled a bit at her when she spoke to him offering him a lift on her mechanical beast of burden. "I am headed down to the docks. There are some people who seem to be pulling bandit duty, and I would rather not have that kind of thing be allowed. I watched for a bit, and there doesn't seem to be any police force to handle it so... I might as well get involved until then." He said, shrugging his shoulders. He looked at the machine once more, trying to ponder it's purpose. Such a thing was different to him in many ways, but... Well, maybe it was faster than walking. He didn't see her arrive on it after all... So maybe?
With a shrug, he climbed onto the back of it, sitting down as she was on it and wondering how this was going to turn out. "I don't like bandits. At least not in this context. We dealt with so much on Planet Vegeta. Small gangs of people roaming around the world to pillage. Trying to claim the precious few resources left on the world while King Vegeta was trying to solidify his hold on the world. Had to kill a few, but it was a rare thing. A very rare thing. A show of force was often all that was needed in most cases." He said, shaking his head a bit and smirking some. "Let us see what this mechanical monster of yours can do." He said, pointing down the road. "And what is with that odd helmet? Does it supply you air as you move? Is it that fast? It doesn't go into space does it?" He asked, peering at the woman for a moment.
It didn't look like it would go to space... But this world was odd as it stood. He shook his head, not bothering to try to understand it and looking at her. "You said you were part of the war effort, right?" He asked, trying to make conversation for when she started the thing and they took off. When it did start up, and she did drive, he would lean back, eyes wide at the balance of the thing and how it did indeed start to drive.

Renkon explained what he was doing. Down at the docks, bandits were harassing the island natives. Such a despicable thing. That wasn't to say Konja couldn't be ruthless, or even brutal when dealing with her opponents. In some truly dire situations back during the war, she had resorted to tearing dead Tuffle soldiers out of their power armour suits and cooked their flesh to stay alive. But those were enemies fallen by her hand. And it would be a waste to leave a perfectly serviceable body. But bandits? Those were scum who preyed on the weak. Those who could not fight for themselves. "Then I'll quicken the pace." Once Renkon was securely in place, she revved the engine and gunned down the road. What had earlier been a leisurely pace for sightseeing was now a rush past the speed limit, the surroundings going by in a blur. If there weren't any police around, or even any witnesses, then they had best make the most of this time. The docks weren't too far away, but the coastal road was considerably winding. It would take a relatively short while to get there... but enough to have a little conversation to pass the time. "I share that sentiment. My village was near the border with Queen Koriandr's nation. Relations were rough before the war, and not surprisingly, we'd have bandits from both sides of the border. The foreigners probably wanted to show their Queen was greater. Not sure how they could do that if they kept picking on small villages. Our militia had a lot of practise fending them off." She was taught to respect the strong. Seek to fight the strong, in order to sate one's instinctive desire for battle. To leave the weak to fend for themselves. They were no threat to the strong, after all. Unless they went out of their way to cause trouble. Of course, she found out that the Tuffles had a very different kind of strength. One might even argue that rather than merely respect them, she had grown fearful of their technology, even if they themselves were so soft... But bandits exploited the weak, just like the ones that raided the Tuberosum River valley. Picking on the elderly, the sick, the young... There was no honour, no satisfaction, in that. "Sounds like even after the war, some things never change..." As they sped down the road, Konja let the Wolf Fang chopper speak for itself, be it the roar of its engine, or the wind in their faces. "It might be able to catch a stampeding roab at this rate!" The speedometer was still something she was learning to understand. Mainly equating the numbers with how fast the surroundings went. Based on her childhood hunting memories, what she said might have been accurate. "If I were to be honest about the helmet, though, it is a formality. Earthers, particularly the average human, are about as fragile as an unarmoured Tuffle. They need helmets and padding to ride these machines - bikes - safely. So there are laws for humans to wear helmets while riding. Normally the police don't pester Saiyans with that law, but..."She took a moment to pause and strain her glutes. Her phantom tail twitched in response. Yes, the sensation was still there. A doctor had told her that it should go away after a few years, but until then, it was a painful reminder of what she had lost... "The Tuffles took my tail. So now, the police can't tell the difference. Having to explain myself whenever I get flagged down takes too much time, so I just make sure they never have to." Shameful, yes... but she never was good at talking to strangers. "My village militia was activated to support the King's Army when the fighting broke out. We served as scouts, skirmishers, ambushers..." Her mood lightened. Those were good times to reminisce. "The Army kept the thunderclaw's share of the fighting for themselves, but we were glad to finally test ourselves against an organised foe, rather than the usual bandits. I felt so alive, in those days..."[687/2787] Renkon

The machine, this bike, went faster as she said she would quicken the pace. He leaned a bit closer to her, unsure of this thing as they took off at higher rate of speed. This was going to make life a lot easier, he needed to get one of these when he could. He chuckled a bit, wondering if he would learn to drive the bike first, or figure out how to fly again before that could happen. She was moving at a good rate of speed, so it wasn't going to be long before they arrived at all, and she spoke about her time in her village, doing battle against bandits, and it made him nod. It was something that he knew all too well as well. Fighting against those who were causing problems and dealing with the actions of fools. He shook his head a bit more and then taking a slow breath. "You are from my time indeed. Queen Koriandr was to the north of us. Her bandits usually left us alone because of our fishing village, but some times her rogue groups would get too close and we would have to beat them down as well." He said, nodding to her as they drove quickly. "It took only a year and a half after the war for that practice to be ended. The Saiyans united under the banner of King Vegeta, letting us pool everything and work to the betterment of the race. It wasn't long before Cold and his empire arrive to take us into space, giving us all a common outlet and ability to make money and bring in resources. King Vegeta had a plan to repair the world, make it full of life again... Never heard all of it, far above what I could understand. Not a royal myself." He chuckled a bit again, just a common grunt he was. When she spoke about the helmet being mostly a formality, he nodded his head. It made sense, the humans here seemed... Fragile, like what she said about an unarmored Tuffle. How many of them had he torn out of their armor and introduced to the ground? Put them into graves. He recalled one of his favorite finishers, smiling a bit more. When she explained about her tail being taken, he frowned a bit. "I heard a lot of Tuffles used to take them as war trophies, cutting them off a living one was seen as a better trophy. And they called us barbarians and warmongers." He shook his head, placing a hand upon her back. "I will make a sacrifice in your honor, and hope the ancient spirits bless you with your tail being able to regrow." He said, his voice softer despite the wind. He understood the loss, maybe not directly, but he did get it. A number of people in his village, non-combat villagers, had been pilfered this way as well. It was not something he wished on anyone at all. As her tone shifted, he nodded his head once more. "I can see that as well. We were deep strike forces. My crew and I would take high into the air, above their technology and held our breath. We would rush from the high altitude and then slam into a base. Blasting in all directions and ripping apart their machines, armor, weapons, and forces. Once they had started to muster, he took off, back into the air and away faster than they could reorganize to fight back. Some times we would press longer as well, battle with them until their forces scattered." He responded, chuckling a bit. "Maybe after this, after the bandits are dealt with, we can spar a bit, let you cut loose for a moment and we can relive those days?" He offered, he knew he wasn't as strong as she was, but it didn't matter, he could always give her a good brawl if nothing else, and he was strong enough to at least hold his own in most battles, his power was enough to put him in the higher classes back on Planet Vegeta. At least it was. 693/3480 Konja of Clan Korm

As the chopper traversed the winding coastal road on the way to the village - and those despicable shark bandits shaking down its fisher folk - Konja's focus narrowed. It could handle harder terrain, yes. And with the road hugging the contours of the cliff face, one could say the hard terrain was indeed responsible for this challenge. At speeds pushing past the limit, it was very possible for someone without enough experience to just punch through the guard rail and fly off into the bay. But the chopper had become an extension of herself now. And Konja of Clan Korm was very much used to breaking puny Earther speed limits on foot when she joined her father in hunting for meat. Renkon affirmed her as being from the same period as he. Those days before the war when the Saiyans were fragmented into many... polly-tease, as Cayle once said. Nations of varying sizes and strengths. Then King Vegeta declared war on the Tuffles, and somehow, everyone just came together. It was only natural, for a warrior race like them. Konja herself hungered for battle and threw herself into the opportunity to prove her Clan worthy. "It sounds like the King really thought ahead about what would come after we won." He was playing what the Earthers would call 4D Chess. Whatever that was, exactly. Perhaps it had something to do with what they called four-sight. But as to how exactly seeing four was important to winning a strategy game that also had the number four in it... Either way, it was no surprise Cayle took House Vegeta's cape for himself. Just like King Vegeta before him, the King of Ensalada also had a sharp mind to complement the power he worked hard for. "Even with all the devastation of the war, his plan must have brought a glimmer of hope."[/color] Even in that brief year before her capture, she had seen her share of what Tuffle technology could do. An entire city, razed to nothing by inexplicable fire from an odd star. Before, she had wondered if the blinking red light the planes dropped on the city was an amulet, an offering to strange and wrathful star gods only the Tuffles knew of. But after spending six years under their captivity, she understood that they held no such sacred creeds. No gods, no ancestral spirits, no higher powers to turn to. The universe, they believed, was theirs to explore, study, and dissect... She could only conclude they had somehow enslaved this star in the same way they did to her and many others. Renkon's words were poignant in that way. A sacrifice to the spirits that they might bless her tail with regrowth. Did she really deserve such a blessing? Her eyes watered underneath her helmet. "Thank you. I don't know how they would view your offering though... It wasn't even a soldier who took it, just... their doctors. It's shameful. So shameful..." It was why she never bothered to make such an offering herself. How could she? She lost her tail not to a warrior, not even to a bandit, but a squishy thinker! Those same thinkers left far more scars on her body and soul than that whole year she fought their soldiers. How could the spirits forgive such a dishonourable loss? That was one more reason she worked hard. Perhaps in that way, she could regain her honour. Still, it helped to listen to Renkon's war stories. Not necessarily out of some desire for vengeance, although it was certainly enjoyable to hear just how they won. And it seemed the hard working warriors managed to win with style. With their honour intact. What she would give to see the victories through Renkon's eyes! But barring that, she would settle for listening, and sharing her own, when her honour was still intact. As she tried to think of a good one to share, the veteran made another offer, to spar with her. It wasn't that she didn't spar with the others on the island, but there was always something exciting about finding a new style to test herself against. Surely, Renkon had that style, along with his experience. "Yes, I would very much appreciate that opportunity. A spar it is!" Finally, a suitable reminiscence came to mind. "There was this one time, we ambushed a column of... tanks, I think they were called. The large armoured cars with the giant gun turrets." A smile crept back to her face as the village went from a vista seen from the side, to a slowly looming destination ahead. "They had all the heavy weapons and armour. They even had escort from two of these... great machine beasts with fire claws and fast guns that would shower you with ki bullets if they pointed at you long enough. But we were faster. Moved quickly and lightly. In unison. Swiped them one after the other."Konja chuckled. "Captain Lerry had told us to soften them up for his team. I think we had a bit too much fun, though, because they were more than just softened up by the time we finished!"[859/4339] Renkon

Renkon listened to the woman, feeling the way the bike shifted and moved down the road, the way she spoke about the after effects of the war, and the feeling of hope, the glimmers of hope that had been offered. Renkon remembered the speeches, the calls out for glory and the rebuilding the world. It was like campfire tales used to keep people feeling strong against the fears. When she spoke about the loss of her tail, the shameful feeling of it all, he did the only thing he could think of. He reached up and placed a hand carefully upon her shoulder, waiting for the bike to straighten out for a moment before he gave her shoulder a soft squeeze.
"What the doctors did was shameful, not what was done by you. The spirits and the ancients understand this. It is not your fault you were attacked in a dishonorable way. It is not your feet the blame will be placed at. It is the fault of the scientists who dealt this pain to you." He said, attempting to be comforting and understanding. "After the spar, if you wish it, I can guide you in making the offering, and make one as well at your side. The honor the ancients in a traditional way, and simply move forward with our lives." He said, nodding softly, though a moment later he realized that she couldn't see said nod, he chuckled a bit. This device they rode on, this bike, was an interesting thing for it's speed and how it maneuvered down the road. Is this what the Tuffles did with some of their speed machines?
Listening to the story she told, he couldn't help but smile a bit wider. "The fire of a warrior burns in your heart. You attacked in a way that did indeed soften them up. You just left the Captain with a mop up job, not a real battle. Those tanks were often a problem. We learned other ways to deal with them around where I was." He chuckled once more. "We would weave mats together so and bury ourselves in the middle of a dirt road, simply waiting for their armored machines to drive over us. A signal was given and we would burst from the bottom, slamming into the thin armor and bursting through the machine itself. The Tuffles would be surprised and we simply tore through the innards of the machines, leaving it a charred husk of what it once was. We stood in the wreckage and waited, letting the commanders call in back up and holding off until the repair crews arrived, bursting out and dealing damage to those before fading into the rocky lands and hiding from their sheer numbers."
It wasn't the most honorable stratagem according to some, but they were alive still from it all. "Hit and run tactics worked well later on in the war. At least until they switched from the rolling machines to the walking ones. Those ones I care less for. I saw something akin to it on this world not long ago, up north. It was crude, but housed a single being within it, making them stronger, faster, and able to shoot energy. That is something that makes me annoyed. Seeing that on the battlefield can be worrisome if someone who doesn't have the spirit for battle walk around in this suit of metal only to be a risk to those around him. We had to change a lot of battle tactics when those started showing up more, but we could be a lot more direct as well." He said, looking beyond her and seeing the waterway that cut the village in half. They were not far now, and he could see the hooligans causing issues as well. Jet skis and shark riders all causing terror to the people of the land. They targeted civilian targets in a way that was without any real honor to be found, far different than dealing with a village in the Oozaru form.
He shook his head softly. "Interesting how they are using the tamed animals to strike with as well. Not something I would expect from beings like this. I don't know much about the people of this world, but I am learning a bit more each day. Taming the wildlife and using it to hunt or deal with your foes is a novel idea. Never did anything like that back home." He shifted on the back of the bike, feeling how his blood was already starting to warm up, ready to do a full assault on those who are causing so many issues... Raider groups like back in the old days, taking what they want because they are too weak to tend to themselves properly anymore.

It was hard to argue with that line of thought. Konja was just following orders. She didn't even make any serious mistakes. It was just the situation at hand. That night came back to her. Not as vivid as the visceral sight of a medical ward triggering an episode, but the memory was vivid nonetheless. Like a roll of film playing in the space behind her eyes as they neared the village gate: Captain Lerry told her to scout ahead based on an intelligence report of an unknown Tuffle facility. If it was confirmed to be a threat, she was to attempt to eliminate it. Konja never had the chance to do the latter. After sneaking into the base and discovering a large number of war machines. They were about the size of an adult, and stood on two legs, hefting a tall shield on one arm, and an assortment of weapons on the other, depending on their colour. Single crimson lights darted left and right in the space on their faces where one would find eyes. She crawled back through the vent shaft, and just as she emerged on the other side, they were already there, waiting for her. She was as careful as she could have been. And yet, they still found her. Even trying to fight her way through failed, because of how many they were... and how strangely well-coordinated. It could only have been something beyond her control. Maybe the Tuffles had some... mechanism in this base that made her sneaking methods useless. She did everything to the best of her ability. Nothing different than how she normally performed. "Maybe you're right..." At least, it couldn't hurt to try an offering. The spirits weren't normal people. Yamoshi certainly was not. They were watching, always. Social timidity was not something that would hinder their presence. And since they were always watching, they would see the truth. Perhaps, even more clearly than Konja herself. Renkon made sense. It was not about her perception of shame, but about honouring their watchful guidance. The request in return for a sacrifice was secondary. "Then please, teach me how to make this particular offering, that we may do so together."Renkon's praise brought elation, after her briefly wondering if they had fun at the expense of the army's performance. He then explained how his own team worked to take down tanks, in detail. That method sounded less direct. Yes, underhanded, but no less disciplined. One could only imagine how much willpower it took for Saiyans to suppress their instinct to just go in and face the enemy directly, for long enough that they would roll into perfect position. That was honourable in its own unusual way. Or it might have just been Konja's perspective as a scout. Maybe she would ask the spirits about that too. Renkon went on to explain the effectiveness of high mobility tactics in the later stages of the war. Briefly touching on the rise of the walking machines, even comparing them to something similar he'd found on Earth, up north. Perhaps the hive machines that ambushed her were only the first generation of such monstrosities. "Yes, the people of this world do have a comparable grasp of machinery. There are a number of... machine men, now I'd call them. Beyond just housing a rider as a walking tank, there are machines here who look, act, speak, and even live like men of flesh and blood."Her thoughts went back to Vidar (PROJECT: RAGNAROK), and that interception they pulled on some Tuffle pirates... "As one who has... problems... with advanced technology, I find them... surprisingly comfortable to speak with." It really was strange. Perhaps it wasn't that technology itself was dangerous. She worked on a cash register, and rode on a bike. Someone said that a hoe and plough were technology too. Technology was anything a sentient used beyond just their bodies. All the same, understanding this truth did not make it much easier to not break at the sight of an emergency ward, with all of its surgical implements and white sheeted gurneys... Renkon made an observation about how the bandits used the sharks as part of their... work... Yes, it was certainly not something many Saiyans would consider. When hunting, an animal would only slow them down. Anything remotely useful was also wild beyond taming. At least, she had yet to hear of tamed white fangs or thunderclaws. "Perhaps it is a way to compensate for their fragility..."The bike slowed down to a more reasonable speed as it passed the unguarded village gate, down the main street. Simple houses not too different from those of the valley on Planet Plant, perhaps only different in their use of wood over brick and stone. The paint looked more vibrant too. Populated by people who emitted a decidedly non-combatant aura, like she could snap each of them like a twig if she dared something so dishonourable. They do not have our noses, and so they use dogs to find their quarry." She pointed at a boy walking his dog. "... or as companionship. Those animals can be quite affectionate. I imagine those bandits use sharks because they cannot swim as fast as us, or destroy boats the way we can."Konja abruptly turned as they neared the boardwalk and the chopper skidded to a stop. The yam farmer stepped off and locked her helmet to the seat, turning to face her veteran companion. "So... how do we do this? Maybe we can take half each, and in that way, learn how our villages dealt with bandits? Or do you have another idea?"[941/6081] Renkon
