Anger consumed Yasu. Chiu had ended up beaten to a pulp and as he set her down rage filled his whole body. She was not dead, probably, but close to it. He could only hear her shallow breathing as though she had a straw pushed down her throat. It really upset him! He cried tears as Gabu's sick tongue lashed at his torso yet it in response to it used every ounce of magic he had to bolster his muscles. It stung, however, caused him no pain. Yasu then focused his mind as it swung back to hit him a second time and when it did he took the damage while throwing the last energy blast he could at the frog.
When Gabu opened his mouth to tell him he had given him a good run he screamed, "It's not over stupid!" just as he intended his final move to hit the mean toad.
