Bryce had been turned off again, somehow. He knew who to blame for that the second he found himself back in the world of the living. His systems seemed to be working right though, and aside from some dust on his body there seemed to be no injuries. It was almost like he was being maintained by someone, though he had no idea who. He'd set out previously to get acquainted with peopole and to stop being a loner, but all that got him was a deactivation.
But the time to assess all that was not really the primary goal there, it was getting his bearings and making sure everything was working the way it should. Which it seemed like it did as he moved his way out of where he found himself, somewhere in a storage uunti or something. He didn't know, it was dark.
The second his eyes adjusted to it all and every system he ran had poperly started he was able to discern just what was around him, which he previously thought to be just boxes. It was all red ribbon stuff, almost like someone knew what he was and what he belonged with. Or maybe it was just a lucky guess, someone seeing a robot and thinking it had to be either red ribbon or capsule corp. Or maybe it was just someone storing valuables to sell off later and he was going to be sold as some lifelike mannequin.
But enough about that.
Vandross soon found himself outside of the building, finding it to be not in a city near the bustling streets of where he was earlier. No, he found himself in a lush, green location with lots of trees and wildlife that stretched for.. well, long. As Bryce took to the air he couldn't even see the end of it, but what he did see was a giant circle with nothing in it in the center. The wildlife seemed to avoid it and so did the plant life, there were a few rocks as well as slight elevations in the earth in the form of small hiding places, like it was made as a place to fight.
Who made it, he didn't know. And for the moment he also didn't care. For now it was just a good place to practice his skill, get the rust off of him, so to say.

When Alaka told herself to go west, she may have taken it way too far. You see, her first goal once she left her home in Jingle Village was to reach the city to the west of it and see if she can start her journey there by challenging one of their dojos or heading into the gym and try her hand in a Muay Thai spar. What she did NOT expect was to fall asleep on the train she took! Her father always told her to not fall asleep in places outside of home, and now she found out why: She was NOT in West City, she was in the WESTERN LANDS! "WHY!? HOW!?" Alaka panicked as soon as she left the station, the annoyed teller did it's best to explain to the pink bubblegum that she had not only fallen asleep in her train, but she had ALSO taken the wrong train! Apparently, there's more than one place called West(ern)! Annoyed, lost, and now having to wait before the next train that brought her back arrived, Alaka was pretty lost in a place she didn't even know was a thing. Who the heck named a location the Western Lands?
She was frustrated and felt like snapping twigs apart to cool herself down, but alas, she was forced out of the station and into the outside of the building, right in the middle of a road leading further ahead to what seemed to be a city, but of course, way too far away for her to bother walking that long. With an annoyed groan, the gi-wearing pink demon took a look into her travel bag to see if she had brought something to help her anger cool down, and she did! Candies! She pulled out a pair of wrapped candies, unwrapped them, tossed the wrappings aside and nommed down the candies, letting out a satisfied sigh as she let it dissolve in her body. She loved candies, and it was her go-to whenever she felt angry and frustrated.
After waiting around for a few minutes thinking of her next step, Alaka eventually decided to skip the city for today and head into the nearby forests, why? Well, she WAS here to train and learn, and whatever wild beasts roamed the forests would be a good way for her to train AND get something tasty to eat, all at once! And so, with a set goal in mind, the easily-distracted demon made her way into the thick forests of the Western Lands, eager to see what was in store for her inside.
...
And before long, she ended up coming across something odd, as she was walking she could notice how the nearby wildlife began to avoid her, something that didn't really bother her, but as she paid just a little bit more attention, she noticed they all seemed to be moving away from both her AND the direction she was going to, as if they were scared of it for some reason. She had no idea why, but it made her really, really curious. What if there was some big, mean, bulky monster waiting and chasing whatever came in it's way? It sounded way, way too fun! She felt thrilled just thinking about it, thinking about how she was going to go through with it, and eventually...
She stopped as she finally reached the area the animals were running away from, an area with a giant circle with nothing in the center, the kind of place that seemed optimal for martial artists to fight in. In fact, it reminded her of the circled arena that she used to spar with the other townsfolk in Jingle Village. Still, she had NO idea what it was doing here...But wait, what was that? Her eyes narrowed and she focused her sight, taking note of someone else not too far from where she stood. It looked to be a male...Was he the beast!?
Alaka dropped her travel bag onto the ground and stared for a moment, she was fearful yet curious about approaching this person, what if they made the circle in hopes of fighting? What if they just were criminals or something like that?! With one deep breath, Alaka began to approach said person, slightly on guard in case something was attempted...

Dio's shirtless form lay sprawled out over a thick branch, his gi shirt balled under his head for a pillow. He let out a loud yawn, disturbed from his rest by the sounds of approaching footsteps. He lay just outside an odd clearing, a place that had seemed to call to him as he train in the surrounding wilderness. He suspected it to be some long lost forgotten cult's training grounds, abandoned after the group collapsed or was driven out by the demon hordes. Either way, they had constructed a fine sparring ring and after an afternoon of shadow-boxing with himself, Dio had taken to waiting patiently for someone else to hear the call of the ring. Whether through strange magicks or just a warrior's instinct, Dio had been brought here for seemingly no reason, but the Old Master had taught Dio that few things in life are truly coincidences. Much less so when those coincidences happen more than once to random people. No, he had been brought to this place for a reason and he surely find out that reason soon. The first to approach was a rather sturdy looking lad, the kind of person that mad Dio's ears perk up. He could feel nothing coming from this person, perhaps another robotic-man or someone so powerful it didn't even register on Dio's internal scale. He pulled himself to a squat, perched on the branch with his tail flicking behind. They too had come to this place, for a fight perhaps? Dio tensed his muscles to jump but just before he did, another revealed themselves to the clearing. A smaller, pinker thing that wore an outfit not unlike Dio's and he took her to be a fellow martial artist. When she dropped into her fighting stance, he couldn't gelp but appreciate her form and his need for a good fight only swelled. "Did you follow the winds too?" Dio called out, leaping from the tree. He soared through the air and landed in the ring between the two, his ki infused muscles propelling him further than any normal mortal body was capable of, and stood up to his full height of nearly seven feet tall with a large grin on his face, "The world works in mysterious ways, wouldn't you say?" Still shirtless, Dio began to stretch in the center of the ring, "So.. Who wants to go first?" ----- WC: 399

''Winds?'' Bryce repeated, and while he did feel quite the pleasant breeze over his skin it was definitely not what brought him there. He didn't know what brought him there, but from the sound of what was just said to him he assumed that this guy was either really sensitive to wind, a madman, or some kind of magic user. Which in his book was the same as being mad, really. ''I followed.. I don't know what I followed..'' He said, defeated but also glad that he wasn't the only one there.
He smiled when he started feeling the ki behind this rather large man, though he didn't know yet what it was. Human, saiyan, demon, or whatever Zam and Nal were. One thing he could assume was that it wasn't a robot seeing as he could not only feel the energy from it but also sense how high, or low, it was. Nevertheless this development was welcome.
Finally, after a moment he shook his head, taking note of the power behind the tall man. Even Bryce had to look up a bit to look this one in the eyes, not something he came across often. But whatever was behind him instantly pulled his focus from the man. For behind him was another being, some being that reminded him of Zam or Nal, and as childish he could remember those being they both held some sort of playfulness to them, seeing most as friend before even considering the possibility of foe.
But then, as his attention was drawn back to the large man in the center of them he chuckled. ''I assume you wanna spar?'' Bryce wasn't too sure, but it would be a good way to make sure his systems were up to snuff even if his senses told him right now that these two wouldn't even be able to make a dent. ''I guess I'm happy to oblige.. if your friend agrees as well, that is.'' He added as he looked behind the tall man while said man was already stretching and seemingly getting ready for combat.
''My name is Bryce. Pleased to meet you.'' He said with a smile. ''And you are..?'' ========================= TWC: 765

Alaka's eyes were focused on the man that was ahead of her. She tried to sense his ki for any guidance in wether or not he was to be trusted, but...It was empty, nothing, she couldn't sense anything coming from him. Why? Why couldn't she sense him? She ought to try to ask him, but as she opened her mouth to speak up...Her eyes trailed as another Ki signature was felt nearby. That of ANOTHER man, but this one was...tall, very tall, so much so that even as she sensed his ki, when she turned to look at where he was ending up on, she had to look up.
As she got closer, she could notice the two stopping to interact. She wasn't interested in what they were talking about, but...Noticing how calm the two were made her begin to lower her guard, maybe they weren't too bad after all. The smaller man with no Ki Signature didn't seem agressive, but she did notice how the other man, who was wearing a martial artist's gi similar to her own, was already prepared for a brawl.
"Eeh? Friend?" She finally got close enough to the three to be within clear earshot of them, and when she did, the first thing she heard was a spar, and that she was friends with the tall man. She wasn't! "I'm not his friend!...Though he does seem kind of strong..." Really, without the other man's readable Ki, the taller man seemed to her to be the strnoger of the two. "Uhh...Wait, we're all gonna spar? We should at least introduce ourselves properly!" And so, with a small spin on her boots, she pointed at her and smiled at the two males ahead of her. "I'm Alaka, from Jingle Village." She spoke out to the fighter and the one with unreadable Ki. She took note of the latter's name as had shared. Bryce, hmm, that's a really tough-sounding name! Maybe he IS just as tough as the other martial artist. And so she waited for a bit, she wanted the last of the trio to introduce himself before they could even think of doing anything else. To her, these kinds of meetings between fighters should be followed with a series of introductions and acknowledgemnt of one another's skill, just like how her father had taught her back when she was learning. And so getting through with names and proper interaction was KEY for a proper spar! Talking about the spar, she was feeling very, very excited to get it going, actually. The larger man had a noticeable Ki presence that indicated at least strength around her level, but Bryce? He was something else, she couldn't read him, and that made her very, very, veeeery curious to test out what he can do in a fight.
"Okay! Now introduce yourself, large man!" Alaka called out to said person, her hands moving to grasp and then tighten her black belt with an audible snap, a signal of readiness for what was about to unfold in not too long. ---------------------------------- OAuhEp5F1d100

Dio paused his stretching, grinning ear-to-ear, "I'm Dio Oba! Of the Urr-Urr Tribe!" he place fist to palm and bowed once to Bryce, then again to Alaka, "It is a pleasure to share this day with you, Bryce and Alaka." The Old Master had taught him manners as much as much as fighting, and he would beam with pride to see his pupil using what he had taught him.
Dio made his way to Alaka's side, taking a position just to the side of her, "You should stretch first, you know." he casually remarked as he resumed his own stretching, leaning this way and that and grunting all the while, "You wouldn't want to have a cramp mid-fight."
When he finished his stretching, he called out to Bryce: "You want us both at once, or one at a time there?
After which he leaned down, way way down, to then whisper something to Alaka: "You go high, I go low, yeah?
Dio stomped his lead foot on the ground, then arched it so that it raise slight above the ground, with his knees bent and his only the tips of his toes in contact with the ring. He leaned onto his back foot for support and brought both fists level with his cheecks, the backs of his hands facing towards Bryce like an old-timey boxer, but with both middle second-knuckles slightly raised. These knuckles acted as pinpoint impact zones that could strike pressure points and soft targets like the eyes with pinpoint accuracy. As he took his full stance, he no longer fully leaned on his back foot but intead began to bounce slightly, hopping side to side in small spurts to keep himself light on his feet.
He gave a few quick shadow-boxing jabs, bobbing and weaving side to side as he did, just to limber up a bit more before their spar commenced. He jabs were quick and precise, but had the fierceness of a predator when his fist snapped. He watched Bryce all the while, determined to get something, anything, from this man before their bout but try as he might, Dio could feel no energy other than Alaka at his side. He cracked a smile and called out to Bryce one more time;
'Alright, let's do this! I'm rarin' to go! Whenever you ready, yeah?"

''The Urr-urr tribe..?'' Bryce spoke slowly so that maybe it could ring a bell with him just like that other one mentioning Jingle village did. But for as long as he had been there, awake or not, Urr-urr did not ring a bell in the slightest. Maybe it was new, or maybe the mandroid just hadn't heard of it before. The world was a massive place, after all. His eyes shifted to Alaka for a moment as she introduced herself a moment before, she sounded about as chipper as he remembered Zam being up until the point you would do something to annoy them. And with Zam that didn't need much, for her to be annoyed with Bryce all it took was to win in a fight. He hoped it wasn't the same with Alaka.. But his interest lay with this Dio guy, the tallest one between the three of them and the one most eager to fight, it seemed. Seconds after introducing himself he pushed for a battle, even going as far as suggesting a free for all battle. Now, Bryce was all for free for all, but no matter what his systems did he felt that with his experience he couldn't really lose against these guys, so maybe taking the two of them on at once would be good for him, get his body back up and running, as well as providing some training for Dio and Alaka. He had to stifle a laugh when he was told to stretch, shaking his head for a moment. ''No, I think I'll be fine without stretching just this once.'' Whether it was pure arrogance from his side or not, he couldn't remember any fight he had to physically prepare for. Besides, when really thrown into a fight with someone you couldn't stretch beforehand. Bryce had to stifle a second laugh when he imagined Dio stretching while simply walking. Boy that would be stupid. No, no physical preparations, only mental ones. And with that he meant that his systems would do this for him, calculating a set of plans for if things went wrong and just.. setting up the entire bout for him. Still, to mimic Dio so that he wouldn't be alone he dropped ino the stance he had learned all those years ago; his left foot set forward and locking into place, and his hands raising to his chest, palms outward as his fingers pointed up. Going for a surprise attack then crossed his mind, but he figured that wouldn't really help his goal here. ''Ready when you guys are.'' ============================ TWC: 1,196 Defensive Phase Bryce is hit 0 time(s) for 0 damage!

Surge of emotion - You may activate this as a bonus action to add the 'ultra-destructive' signature technique modifier to any special or finishing techniques used this turn. You may activate this up to three (3) times per thread.
Techniques
Morph [2/2] -0 ki 50% chance for the opponent to lose a bonus action, +5 to any one stat.
Clash [1/1] -13 ki + cost of attack When you activate Clash, you perform one attack of your choosing in response to a single unresolved attack targeting you. Reduce the damage of the target attack by the amount of damage that your own attack would deal. You must still make an Accuracy Roll, and if your attack's total damage would exceed your opponent's, they must respond to your attack as if you had performed it normally- with an additional damage modifier equal to the damage roll(s) of your opponent’s attack. If this would reduce an attack's damage to 0, you also resist any effects it would have caused.
Enhanced focus energy ∞ - 3 ki Increase your Accuracy with Energy Attacks on this turn by +15. Your Energy Attacks have an additional +15% chance to inflict Status Effects this turn.
Enhanced rapid movement ∞ - 8 ki You gain +25 Defense against unresolved attacks targeting you this turn. This is reduced to +10 Defense when used against a Special Technique of the “Finisher” type. Using Rapid Movement versus a Critical Hit now prevents that attack from automatically hitting, requiring it to meet or beat your Defense value as if it were not a critical hit; Critical Hits affected by this still deal additional damage and are affected by any effects that specify Critical Hits.
Energy constructs [0/1] - 8 ki Energy Construct is activated as a Bonus Action and grants 4 Energy Constructs. As an At-Will Action, you may spend a single construct for an effect listed below. You may use at-wills from this technique more than once in a given turn.
--Give +10 to a single Accuracy roll on your turn. One per attack. --Gain +2 bonus damage for a single attack you make. Two per attack max. --Add an additional +15% chance to inflict a status effect for a single attack or item on your turn that has one already. The max chance to inflict with any effect is 95%. One per attack. --As a reaction you gain +10 Defense against all attacks. One per turn. --As a reaction you gain 4 DR against all attacks during turn. One per turn.
Feint [2/2] -8 ki You avoid 1 attack targeting you on this turn; this does not work against Critical Hits.
Judgement blast -11 ki Damage: 4d6+4 Effect: Charging - Focus Energy grants this technique an additional +10 Accuracy; this does not apply multiple times from consecutive uses of Focus Energy. Effect: Blinding - This technique has a 30% chance to inflict Blind on hit.
Revenger charge [0/3] [0/3] -0 ki You gain a stack of Ambient Ki each time you or an opponent misses with a Basic or Special Energy Technique. Additionally, a stack is gained each time you take 10 or more damage from a Basic or Special Energy Technique. Three stacks of Ambient Ki can be spent as an At-Will action to increase your Accuracy with a single Energy attack by +30. This effect stacks with Focus Energy and may be used to trigger the Charging Special Technique effect.
Items
R.A.D - Rapid Adaptive Defensive When in a fight, any non-basic technique being used in successive turns will lose 20 accuracy. This is lost however, if the opponent ceases to use this move in any given turn. As an item of great power this boosts your PL by 30%.
Auxiliary core Increase your Base Power Level by 10%. Twice per battle, you may perform a Special Technique without paying its Ki Cost. After both uses of this item have been used in a single thread, it no longer has any effect for the remainder of that thread. [2/2]
Bio suit You heal 3 HP at the end of each turn.
Champion's gi At the beginning of your turn, you may choose 1 of the following Effects: You gain +10 Defense this turn(applied before incoming attack resolution), you gain +15 Accuracy with all Basic Techniques this turn, or you gain +15 Accuracy with a single Special Technique used this turn. 1 bonus per turn At-will
Obi Decrease the cost of all your Techniques by 2 ki.
Traits Class feature Solid foundation - rapid movement You begin play with 1 Enhanced Basic Technique; you may learn a second Enhanced Basic Technique upon reaching Potential Mastery level 5.
Class feature Combo attack Each time one of your attacks hit, increase the Accuracy of attacks used on subsequent turns by +5, stacking to a maximum of +20. This bonus is reduced to +0 on the turn following an attack failing to hit its target.
Class feature Flexible technician Once per turn, as an At-Will Action, you may change a Special Technique’s type- from Single, Barrage, or Area into another type; this alters that technique’s cost and damage to match its “new” type.
Class feature Practice makes perfect You may spend 4 MP to upgrade your Special Techniques. An Upgraded Special Technique gains +10 Accuracy and +4 Damage.
Class feature Genius Technician You may learn one additional Legendary Technique without it taking up any Technique Slots, though it takes twice as long to learn.
Class trait Flawless counter On a turn in which you use a Defensive Technique in response to an incoming attack, increase your accuracy with attacks made on that turn by +20.
Class trait Dynamic entry You may perform 1 Attack on your first combat turn of a thread.
Racial Infinite core type You regain 2 Ki at the end of every turn and cannot be afflicted with Exhausted from hitting 0 Ki.
Surge Whenever you use your Focus Energy Basic Technique, you regain 35 Ki and increase your Current Power Level by 25% for 2 turns; this is considered a use of Power Up for the purposes of Power Up’s ki restoration limit.
Efficiency Your Basic Techniques cost 1 less ki, your Utility and Defense Techniques cost 3 less ki, and your Special Techniques cost 5 less ki. The minimum cost for any Technique(whose base cost is not already 0) is 1 ki.
Warning shot You may perform 1 ranged attack on your first turn of combat. It deals no damage, but reduces its target’s Defense by an amount equal to the damage it would have dealt for 3 turns if it “hits”.
Endure Increases your HP by +25.

"Urr...What? Is that somekind of food?" Alaka tilted her head for a moment as Dio spoke out. Who would name their tribe after food? Then again, maybe they really liked that? Well, whatever the case, Alaka responded to Dio's gesture in kind, bowing back at him, then to Bryce. A respectful bow before the fight begun. And so Alaka began to hop in place, rolling her arms, neck, doing a bit of a warm up before the fight really got down. She took a glance at Dio as he spoke up about stretching, then turning to Bryce's response. "Yeah, don't need to stretch!" Alaka called out naivetily, sure, stretching was important, but, uh, Alaka didn't NEED to stretch. Her limbs didn't really have...bones. At least her father told her. Two on one, huh? Alaka had begun to think about how to tackle this kind of fights. Honestly, she doesn't have any experience with fighting as a team, since her father was her main partner during her training. Still, this was beginning to feel like a really, really good opportunity for her to gain some experience when it came to team fighting! Who knows when it could come in handy? After all, a warrior is truly never alone. With one affirmative nod to Dio's attack plan, Alaka then turned towards her soon-to-be opponent with a growing, competitive smirk on her face. "Okay, good luck to all of us!" She called out before soon adopting her stance. Her hands rose up in fists, her left leading forward, her right by the side of her head. Her front, left leg rising a bit, standing on the tip of her boots, while the other remained planted, firm. A classic, yet ever so effective, Muay Thai stance. And so she was ready, prepared, awaiting for a little bit, to check on who was taking the lead on this fight. She had little idea of what to do when it came to a team fight, so for now, she waited to see how Bryce would approach the situation before she fought back with her own power. [352] [352/1590]

Dio could only shrug with a smile at the denial from both parties, "Alright, but if ya' leg cramps, don't blame Dio."His eyes snapped back to Bryce, watching as he moved into his stance. His movements were so smooth, and Dio could scarcely believe a body could move so elegently and precisely. Even after all parties had taken a ready stance, Dio could feel nothing coming from this man. He was still an entire mystery. It worried him a bit that he couldn't feel any life energy coming from this man, but a peek out of the corner of his eye at Alaka's confident and grounded stance brought his own confidence swelling back. With a deep breath, time seemed to stop for moment. The world quieted and color swirled away. Only his opponent remained in his mind's eye. Bryce was watched carefully, looking for any small fault or rhythym. Each of Dio's heartbeats brought the world back more and more into focus until the sound and color returned but still Dio's eyes remained locked onto Bryce. "I'm ready." Dio replied as all his muscles flushed with ki. ----- WC: 188

The fact that neither of them had attacked while Bryce was making arrangements, so to say, was a clear indicator of their honor. Though sadly, that had nothing to do with how smart they were. Bryce suddenly dropped his stance as he looked at Dio, before briefly glancing over at Alaka. Both were in fighting stances but their power, though lower than his own, could not be pinpointed, maybe they were hiding something. Or maybe they were hiding nothing and Bryce would end this before it began due to not being able to hold back. Now, he did have the same sense of honor that they both did, or he assumed they did, but he wasn't really able to adjust his own power until he felt what exactly these two were capable of. What.. were their tactics? The mandroid smiled at Dio when he said something about cramps, something Bryce hadn't felt in quite some time now. But, no matter how strong his body was and his muscles were, his punches and kicks had always left something to the imagination, not really living up to the other things he could do, courtesy of being an android, he supposed. He looked at Alaka and then briefly at Dio as his hands slowly turned into fists. ''Two on one. Admirable. Let's see how you last!'' With those last words he darted forward, zigging and zagging, left to right in an attempt to catch both the other fighters off guard. And then, when he reached Alaka he would snap out of her view, and appear before Dio armed with an attempt to punch him straight in the face. After that, if it hit or not, he would give the man a smile before vanishing and appearing before Alaka once more, his fist thrown at her face with intent to hit.. And whether or not it did he would throw her the same smile he did Dio as he darted back, creating distance between them all. ''Can't say I haven't missed this!'' He laughed. ============================= TWC: 1,536 Defensive Phase Bryce is hit 0 time(s) for 0 damage!

It was time to get this going! Alaka took a glance to the side at Dio as he prepared himself for battle, with her then glaring back at her rival, already feeling that fighting spirit that all warriors have surge within her. Eventually, Bryce went in. Fast. Way too fast. By the time she realized where he was, his fist had already gone to attack the face of her partner! "Dio DUCK!" She yelled out to him before eventually focusing as Bryce began to move quickly towards her! She braced herself to defend. When he finally appeared and shot his fist out, her eyes narrowed and, in one swift movement, she weaved her upperbody out of the way of that fist, feeling it brust the tentacle-hair that she had. Close! Way too close for her liking. Her eyes tracked the mandroid as he backed off from the duo, but no, Alaka wasn't letting him go. "You aren't getting away from me!" With a sudden surge of Ki, a pinkish aura surrounded her for a moment before, with a quick rush towards the mandroid, she tried to close the distance and, once near, send her fists in a flurry of jabs towards his face, before attempting to follow it up with an upwards roundhouse kick aimed towards his chin. Her form was good, her attacks fast, it was clear that, despite how low her power level was compared to the android, she DID know how to fight. Now, wether her attacks landed or not, she braced herself for a counterattack, returning to her stance as she did so. Post by Dio Oba on Feb 9, 2021 17:52:24 GMT -8
Dio stood firm with a wide smile on his face as the battle began. His grin only widened as Bryce dropped in position and charged towards him. "Dio DUCK!" He heard Alaka's call and turned to responded to her, "No, Dio Urr-UGH" His sentence stopped as he stumbled backwards a few feet, a tiny drip of blood falling from his nose, his smile replaced by a frown. "That's rude, I was trying to talk to my new friend." The fur on his tail and ears wriggled in the gust of wind cased by Alaka's aura flaring up and his smile immediately returned, "Tha's the way, friend!"A low growl emenated from deep in Dio's chest as he took a power stance, his own white ki aura rising up around him like flames. With a shout, "HAAAAAAAAAAHH!!! Dio shot forward behind Alaka, following her lead. As soon as her combination attack ended, he replaced her as Bryce's assaulter. Though incapable of true flight, he could use his ki to carry him forward in short burst, and Dio used this moment to send a brutal kick directly at Bryce's stomach. Flowing like water, Dio rotated mid-air, hands dropping to the ground and stopping his momentum completely. With another twist of his body, Dio used his remaining interia to bring his legs back around into an attempt to sweep Bryce's out from under him. ------ WC: 231

I obviously took him by surprise that Alaka was able to dodge his attacking seeing as how different their levels were, maybe Bryce was rusty still. But he didn't let the stop him as his hit against Dio had landed, though the both of them quickly set in motion a plan to return the damage. Well.. 'plan', you couldn't really call it a plan as it was just them flying at him in a straight line. Alaka first, Dio second. And as such he was able to anticipate them, the first flurry was dodged as if he was a bird flying through a narrow space. He looked like a liquid almost, as he weaved through the fists thrown by the girl. And after that, the kick was thrown and aimed at his chin from the side. His fist sprang up and he was able to place it upon the ankle in order to stave it off, as he twisted around, turning his back to Alaka and jutting out his elbow in an attempt to slam her back into place. But turning his back to her meant one very simple thing; he couldn't see what Dio was going to do. He felt the energy coming closer but that was it for direction. The kick that was aimed for his stomach did connect, but due to his turned around state it glanced off of his back and sent him forward a few steps, allowing him to dodge any follow up attacks. Now he turned around, still quite shocked that Dio hit him and eventually smiled. It was training, after all, he needed to see what they were capable of and Dio had shown just that, and whether it was a lucky shot or not, the power behind it would not lie. It hit him, but not hard and he was able to take it as if it was almost nothing. ''Guess you've earned yourself a small reward.'' Bryce said finally, his systems taking aim, his hands readying into fists as he cracked his neck. ''You are clearly the more experienced one between the two.'' He added as if he was an actual threat, which, according to the unwritten laws of training he was not. Finally, with his systems only half turned on, meaning he targeted Dio and not Alaka with them, he darted forward and attempted to slam his knee into the gut of Dio, a smile on his face whether it hit or not. ================================== TWC: 1,949 Defensive Phase Bryce is hit 1 time(s) for 9 damage! 5 DR - 9 dmg = 4 dmg

Not being able to sense power levels was prooobably helping Alaka, as she wasn't really too sure just HOW powerful Bryce actually was. And well, to her that just ment that she probably had the advantage in this fight!...Right? Well whatever the case, Alaka certainly wasn't backing down from this fight! Her lifetime of training had prepared her to face anything, no matter who her opponent was! And so, as Bryce's elbow came towards her, she swiftly moved her upperbody out of the way, then she quickly leaped backwards, out of range from any further attacks, even if they never came at all. She grimaced a little, she could FEEL the raw power that Bryce had as that elbow cut the air, but...Nah, she shouldn't be worried at all. After gathering some ground, she hunched over in a more offensive stance, glaring at her opponent, lifting a brow for a moment. "Eeeh? He's the more experienced one?" She pouted childishly, whaaat? There was no way the tribal-boy had more experience than she did! Sure, this might be her very first fight outside of her home town...And sure he may be faster and stronger...and SURE he may have more fight-intellect, BUT THAT'S ALL SUBJECTIVE! Alaka was clearly ticked off by that, so much so she actually didn't attack and instead stomped a boot down and began to charge her ki! "Haaa..." Seems like she was trying to get up to speed with them! And once charged up, she began to rear back, focusing her energy right on her hands! "Take THIS!" She called out, the pinkish energy in her hands flying out in a short barrage of ki-blasts in Bryce's general direction!
