Greyish clouds were scattered the sky, forest animals had gone into shelter and the sun refused to the come out. In this specific forest, a young tanned woman dressed in a casual red tracksuit trudged through vegetation. A stupidly long dark brown ponytail was kept in place by a white ribbon that had it's ends standing straight up. Three swords hung at her sides almost ceremonially, securely remaining in their solid black scabbards. An extra sword was strapped on her back, appearing longer and more valuable than the other six that she had on her hips. They did not seem to restrict her movement at all, despite their number. Her evergreen eyes observed the world around her as she fondly recalled the fresh smell of pinewood mixed with the fetid smell of the earth she currently walked on. There were those massive roots protruding from the ground that she continuously nearly tripped on. The constant noise being produced by the animals that reside here were also something to appreciate. Sure, they all tended to flee from their positions when they saw her approaching, but so what? The forest was still a place of ancient souls, a place of the creatures who dwell with those very same sweet sounds. Somehow, this felt more home than home, perhaps one day Cylie will learn why.
She wasn't just here because she wanted to be in the forest, but rather, she was trailing a massive power level that stalked through the greenery. In this very same forest, a fierce, but quick fight had broken out between two powerful people no more than a week ago. It had been over nothing more than a small amount of zeni, which Cylie had allegedly stolen. As quick and brief as the altercation was, it was easily one of the toughest challenges that the female thief had ever faced. There had only been a few times in her short life in which she had fought with someone just as strong, if not stronger than her. There were a few instances in the brawl where Cylie wasn't completely sure if she could win, and for someone like her, that was a few too many. She'd never even felt a power level as large as that before, and she travelled a lot. As insignificant as it may have been, that small fight had let Cylie know that there was definitely a few fighters in this world who were potentially capable of killing her in a one on one shoot fight.
Cylie followed the power level she sensed, intending to circle around it, and end on in front of it. She wished to do all of this while being undetected, and as such, her power level was lowered as far as it could go, and her movements were stealthy. Obviously, she wasn't going to able to circle around someone moving at a slightly faster pace than she was, but she had a little 'trick' up her sleeve. She had used this same trick a week ago during that same fight, in order to escape. It was teleportation. Not even Cylie herself knew how she managed to do it, but it did not stop her from taking advantage of the ability. She whipped out yet another glass vial, the same one she always seems to carry around. After uncapping it, she drank the water inside it, then placed the vial back in her pocket. A surge of energy coursed through her, but the sudden spike in power level died down as quickly as it came. Within a moment, she disappeared. Cylie reappeared in a rather tall tree that her target was walking beneath, and she prepared to hop down to meet the person. At that moment, her stomach began to growl harshly. She placed a hand on her exposed midriff, frowning. She hadn't actually eaten anything since the day began. Oh well, maybe her target might be willing to share a bite to eat. She promptly leapt out of the tree, landing with her feet on the ground below. She now stood in front of the person she wanted to meet.
"Hi there, uh, what's your name again?"
