Alaric wandered around Shu's Village, sipping on a cola waiting for the call to meet at the elevator and end his field trip. The crowd was starting to thin a bit as people were wondering up to visit the rest of Pilaf Land. He wished he could join them, while it was fun enough down here he felt he had pretty much exhausted the possibilities that it had to offer. The bubbling excitement he had felt on arrival had settled down into a dull boredom. He took another drink and the sound of a straw hitting empty air emerged from the cup as the last sip of the ice cold Dr Briefs Cola danced over his tongue. He let out a satisfied sigh and tossed the cola cup at the nearest garbage can, continuing to walk aimlessly looking for something diverting for the last 45 minutes. He was suddenly almost jerked from his feet as a cold metal hand grabbed his shoulder and yanked at him. Instinctively, Al stepped back into the grab and took hold of the hand as he twisted forward and twisted his torso, throwing his assailant to the paved walkway with a loud CLANG! He took a cautious step back and raised his hands in a ready position. He could see now it was a Shinbot - but why in the world had it grabbed him? He was opening his mouth to ask what was going on when he saw the empty cola cup crumpled in one of its hands. The shinbot turned its head around 180 degrees and said, "You are now under park arrest for littering and assaulting a security bot. Please comply and come quietly." "Whu... what? Come on, you grabbed me it was an accident, there's no need for any arresting..."The bot began to right itself, standing up and turning its body around to face him as the head stayed motionless with its dead eyes watching him the whole time, "Perpetrator refused offer of peaceful arrest. Initiating apprehension protocol. Initiating call for backup." Panic began to come to life in Alaric's gut... how had he got himself into this situation? A light popped out of the top of the shinbot's head, and started flashing blue and read as its mouth opened and began blaring a siren. It began moving towards him, hands extended to take hold of him... Alaric took a step back and sputtered out, "H-Hey, is this really necessary?"The shinbot began advancing faster and something in Alaric... snapped. "You think you can push me around? You're about to find out how wrong you are!" He stopped retreating and snapped a kick up into the shinbot's chest, pushing it backwards a couple of steps. It was all the time he needed. He gathered his ki together and focused it in his fist. He looked up to the shinbot, his brown eyes shifting into a rich golden color as his ki suffused them and growled, "Apprehend this you stepped up tin can!" and sent a punch rocketing forward, leaving a glowing trace of dark golden ki as his fist almost seemed to howl through the air and struck the hapless shinbot in the chest, shooting a hole through and bursting into the other side. He withdrew his fist as the sounds died from the alarm and the shinbot crumpled down. Elation began to give away to worry again as his adrenaline began to recede. At the sound of a grumbling voice, he froze and slowly turned around to face... a towering beast woman. She was truly imposing to behold, well over a foot taller than himself. She began her condescending speech about employee numbers as she hid her badge... She's really going to try to fight me? I mean she's big, but is she trained? Fortunately for Alaric, Waka was only arguably trained, at best. Add a gruelling work day on top of that, and she was far from up to par with her usual performance. Yet, right now, she didn’t care one bit… she wanted to let off some steam; whether that came from being beaten or beating someone else. It was petty, barbaric, even – but she never said she was above such things. She was just a thug! And, precisely because of that, the immediate taunt didn’t ruffle her fur one bit… well, most of it didn’t, anyway. ”Hairy…?” murmured the fox, checking the tuft of ginger that sat over her ears – she got this cut just a while ago. W-Was it too adventurous? Ah, she didn’t grow that fast, though… no, maybe he meant her tail? She didn’t groom it much lately… a-anyway! Her vanity could wait! As Alaric took his stance, Waka cracked her neck; trying to play cool – and feeling far too cranky to take her own martial arts seriously this time around. Still, she had to at least try when she opened like this… while he was getting ready for the first move, she would close her eyes and enter a horse stance; closing her fists gently. She didn’t quite calm herself this time, and her power was tempered by her exhaustion already… but, still, she had to concentrate. Slowly, the pink ki began to glitter in the air around her, and she tensed – before slowly releasing her core strength, and letting that release flow out through her palms and shoulders… Though it crackled for a moment, her power wasn’t explosive like many other ki artists; instead increasing like rising water rather than a sudden and decisive bolt of lightning. And gradually, she pulled the energy in… and in turn, the already imposing fox grew. Seven feet, eight feet, nine feet – ten, eleven – But, she was interrupted by a hollow clonk – the glass ceiling of the underwater complex greeted her head, leaving the poor girl pushed up against it for a moment before she hastily halted her growth. She’d rather be bigger, but… twelve feet would do! Awkwardly bracing an arm against the glass, she tried to hunker down a little bit… it’d probably be bad if she broke that. Like – really bad. Probably could get fired… and then some. Maybe this was a bad idea? Oh well! Thankfully, Waka’s usual clothes grew with her – though her little employee cap wasn’t so lucky, now having to just sit on the tip of one of her ears. Alaric's jaw dropped as his opponent began to swell... and then grow before his eyes. He had heard of people doing things like this, but had thought it might be a bit of exaggeration. His head slowly tilted farther and farther up as the now truly immense beast woman bonked her head on the top of the dome. The hollow ringing bonk of the head hitting glass started to pull him out of his shocked state and he moved back into his fighting stance, narrowing his eyes at his even larger opponent. He's fought larger opponents before - his mom had brought in some of the more thuggish Wolf School members for him to spar against... but they still hadn't prepared him for a size difference this large. He reached his sense out to try to determine exactly how it was done... but couldn't quite catch it all. Still, it gave him some ideas. He gathered reached out and gathered a bit more power from around him and he aura swirled out from his chest and surrounded his body in a dark golden light. He smirked at her comment and blustered out, "Yeah, you aren't a tub of lard any longer; more like a whole shipping container full or something. Show me what you got, I'll do my best to not crush anyone when I knock you down to size. If she was being honest, Waka was quite enjoying the taunting – it was nice to meet someone honest today, and she’d rather such blunt insults compared to the fancy language used by her supervisors to put her in her place. She could punch out any thug; she couldn’t punch out a docked paycheck. Of course, she all the more satisfied upon seeing him tense up when he took in her full size… that was always the fun part. But! It definitely didn’t guarantee a win, especially while she was so tuckered out. He, too, called upon his ki to even the odds; albeit in a far more traditional fashion. Golden – that was Saiyan stuff, right? Or, was it android? Err, Turtle School? She didn’t know. But, on that note – it was a good reminder for her to have lunch. ”Aren’t you contient- conscious – no, concie… considerate! If you wanna do me another favour, you can buy me dinner, huh?” gloated the fox, in spite of her failed attempt at broadening her vocabulary. Pink ki began to crackle once more, but this time around her forearms and hands; buzzing in a familiar way… that traditional Majin technique, now in a manner that was somehow even more crass. Launching forward with a low stomp; the iconic Bājí technique; Waka closed the distance surprisingly quick – the trick was to barely raise your foot at all, and to force your core strength up and down with it rather than managing any momentum. At this size, it wasn’t quite so fast; but it also left the glass below shuddering from the weight… thank goodness it didn’t crack (yet). With it, the fox swung low with both hands; trying to clasp Alaric with them – or, if he didn’t avoid either, squash him between them. He had to give it to the fox woman... she was certainly confident in her abilities. She started to move as pink ki began to wreath her limbs in a crackling cacophony of power that brazenly announced itself to the whole area, considering the giant size of her limbs. Pink ki? What kind of person or school uses pink ki? Is that a beast man thing? She began to move in a deceptively fast motion to stomp him down with her giant feet; Al tapped into his ki and began to move... just a bit too late. He felt himself being shoved to the side with a ton of power. The edge of the gigantic foot caught him in the ribs, ironically careening him out of the way of her follow-up grasping lunge with those huge meat hooks she called hands. He sprang up to his feet and launched right back at the big woman, growling in his throat as he threw a wild jumping kick at the back of her leg to try to slow her down some. He had acted too hastily, he could tell even as he launched his angry kick at the huge leg it wasn't going to impact her enough. He made a decision as he landed... a wolf should always show it was a wolf. He didn't know all the ways of the Fang yet... but he could sure howl like a wolf. He rolled and turned to face the immense woman, gathering his ki into his right fist. He called out, "Nice try, tons of fun. Now let's see if you can take a punch or just dish them out!" Alaric charged at the woman, wishing he could reach her big dumb face, but settling for her gut as he launched into the air... and let loose with his charged punch. A golden burst of kii trailed behind the fist like the trail of a comet as it made a sound eerily reminiscent of a wolf's howl. It should have been a glancing blow – but even that smash from Waka’s knee stole more than just the wind from Alaric’s lungs. The pink ki stung at the would-be Majin’s victim, before returning to her and congregating in her hands; forming an odd shape… not an energy blast, or any such threats; but… a pain au chocolat, sitting in her palm like a trophy. Well, at least for a second – then, it vanished, with just one swallow. But, not without a farewell – ”It’s good! Straightfoward, but sensational; and appropriate for the season… a lazy zig-zagging stripe of chocolate on top would be too much, but having it nicely cooled enough to be solid makes it stand out from the filling. A vein of caramel, too, lets the chocolate filling shine as a separate taste to the outside; and the dusting of cinnamon holds both layers together. It’s a pure taste, that reminds you of all the best parts of chocolate… maybe it’s overused, but it’s never overrated!”She got away with her review as Alaric’s first blow to her leg practically bounced right off – against such a big target and with such endurance underneath her ki, it just wasn’t enough. Sure, she felt it, but the flavour was more important! However, Waka couldn’t spend any more time snacking… that lightning fast punch came fast enough to leave the wind howling. And it would have definitely left Waka howling if it weren’t for the extra steadiness her Giant Form offered, but she was still outright staggered by it; the ground shuddering as she had to hastily stumble to regain her standing. Wincing and giving a tiny groan, the girl tried to act tough and play it off… h-hopefully her foe wouldn’t see through her bluff, as she was barely clinging onto her Giant Form. Those golden eyes, though… geez, Nase had almost fried her earlier – this wasn’t some brother of his, right? T-This might not go so well… ”Tch. T-That was fancy, y’know. Shouldn’t you be off in a dojo rath'r than bumm'ng 'round here?” grumbled the fox, deciding it wise to play a little nice, just in case she had been digging her own grave earlier – he definitely looked like a kid, but… between Saiyans and Demons, you never knew. ”But – you haven’t scuff'd me yet. So, I think I’ll settle for sec'nds… bett'r than pay'ng for lunch, see?”That wretched pink ki sparked around Waka’s arms again, but this time she wasn’t quite so restrained – well, as much as you could call a giant fox swinging her arms around ‘restrained’, but compared to this twelve-foot rugby tackle, it might well be. Throwing her weight around in a world of glass probably wasn’t the wisest move, but thankfully the floor was sturdier than the ceiling, even as the huge fox crashed down on it; trying to reach around her target for a second round of crushing ki-stealing. In the process, though, plenty of shinobi paraphernalia was sent flying – or outright squashed. Alaric felt a sense of gratification as his strike managed to make the massive guard stagger back a few steps... but it seemed like she was keeping it together. Delayed senses seemed to catch up as he set himself up to face her anew... had she made chocolate pudding somehow by hitting him? What the hell was that all about? The pain of the pink ki crackling around him came to the forefront of his attention. He tried to push it out with his own power... and failed. The ki was almost sticky and viscous despite the crackling dance about his body. He tried to use his own ki to twist and lock it in and he managed to ground it... but felt like he had tied up some of his own personal power to do so. He had never heard of anything like it before either, which was worrying. It seemed there was a lot out in the world his mom had kept him sheltered from... he was going to have to fix that. Al shrugged off the guard lady's question, "I'd rather be in a dojo... I'm here on a field trip with... never mind that. Se...seconds? How did you do that with the pudding? Are you eating my ki somehow?" He raged internally that he had said that much, it would be easier to track him down if he got away now. He tried to put that out of his mind as the giant began flailing her arms around at him again. He leapt over the first swipe, tucking his legs up and flipping down to land on his feet. He began to dance around, dodging ninja themed debris, feeling pretty good about himself until it felt like a car hit him, smashing him down to the floor. He felt a bit faint for a second even as his body seemed to go on autopilot, pushing him away from where he had crashed into the concrete, leaving a few cracks and a bit of blood to greet the massive fist of the giant as it crashed where he had lain. He pushed himself back up to his feet and spit the coppery taste of blood from his mouth, wincing a bit as the crackling pink ki danced along his right side. He concentrated again, twisting his ki over the invading energy. It came quicker this time, his ki almost seeming to do as he wished it to. He again felt the draining of his power... but that was a worry for another time. It was time to take the fight back to this huge guard. He growled out, "You think you're gonna get away with eating my energy? Think again!"He zig zagged as he ran forward, trying to dodge the last of the shenobi shrapnel. He felt almost like a terrier harassing an elephant... but decided not to give in to dismal thoughts as he closed in and spun, throwing a vicious elbow to her left knee. After following through with that attack, he gathered his ki together for a last ditch effort to put this big lady in her place. His ki flared to life around him and concentrated on his right arm as he drew it back. Alaric’s response to the Majin ki was a very wise one – if Waka had been paying attention, she would probably have learnt something from the show. Grounding the nasty stuff rather than just trying to blow it away was much more efficient… but, the effects were there nonetheless. The second draining blow was easier to handle with his practiced reaction – but once again, he was still suffering its obnoxious effects. And, speaking of obnoxious, Waka was no less satisfied; though this time the treat vanished in one gulp rather than being given such a review. Instead, Alaric would get some sort of answer to his complaints. ”Nev'r messed with a Majin b'fore? Or, rather, a trad'tional – err, well – it’s a speci'lty, or someth'ng…” replied the fox, clearly trying to offer a good answer but failing at the first hurdle. She didn’t exactly train in it, so… maybe it was better to just say it was magic at this point, no matter how much she usually insisted it wasn’t. ”I’m enough Majin to pull it off, 'nyway. Didn’t you learn that in school, huh? Once I’m done with you, I’ll tell your teach that you’ve been snooz'ng in class too much!”For a moment, Waka paused, clearly dissatisfied. ”No, no… that was bad…” mumbled the girl – however, Alaric’s new battle cry forced her on the defensive physically rather than emotionally. The elbow was all too easy to strike with, and managed to make the fox’s stance crumple; which left her utterly exposed to the next golden bullet. The ki-charged uppercut may not have been quite as well-placed as the last, but this time the effect was far more impressive and no doubt the follow-through was all too satisfying – with the massive hit to the giant’s chin as she was bent low, she recoiled, only for that snarling golden ki to detonate… and, with a howl that became a roar, the huge and heavy fox was thrown off the ground. It was just a metre or so, but more than enough to proclaim the sheer force behind the blow. And Waka was clearly sore after it, too; as her powers finally crumpled in on themselves. Pink ki sparked and flickered in the air as she stumbled backwards, before falling straight over and squarely onto her rump with a massive thump. The impact threw up tiles and dust from the floor, briefly distracting from her theatrics – and once they cleared, the full damage was obvious… Waka’s giant form was gone for good, leaving just an oversized fox rather than a queen-sized one. ”Dammit… yeah, okay. It’s good for show, but being a big targ't’s no good…” admitted the girl, dragging herself back to her feet – yet, despite all the damage, she still didn’t seem that much worse for wear. ”Right. I won’t settle for bein' a punch'ng bag any longer, so you bett'r speed up a bit.”She was kinda regretting this fight right about now. She didn’t mind a good scuffle, but… this was not turning out in her favour. H-He looked like just a kid! And, he was just on a field trip, too, s-so… ugh. Maybe this was karma for hassling such a tiny punk. Conjuring up the worst of her once more, Waka rolled her shoulders; trying to get used to her smaller size again. She wouldn’t be too hasty, instead taking the pause in the action to calm herself and recoup her ki – using Giant Form always took so much out of her. And, as a bonus, that power she’d stolen from Alaric had proven quite delectable… it hard to tell if it was her ki signature that had risen or his that had fallen, but even in her smaller size she still commanded quite a presence. She let it all the energy slowly trickle in, and then thought through her next move… She was gonna hit him, right? Absolutely. Though it lacked the weight and force that her giant form offered, her opening shoulder charge was still threatening – Alaric might not be being hit by a building-sized fox this time, but a girl who had to duck under almost every doorway was still going to be something you didn’t want to be smashed with. Alas, though – even without the ponderous size of before, her moves were still sloppy. Alaric ought to still be able to dodge or parry them without too much trouble, in spite of her weight and ferocity.
