Deep in a below-ground base of the TSE, a particularly irritated man was being led through the facility as if on tour, much to many nearby bystanders' fascination. Though Nase was already not used to being in the spotlight, being in this place made him hate it. Things seldom changed, it seemed. Watching as the scientists and guards around him all watched him back, the test subject simply lowered his head and kept moving.
"I guess it didn't make sense to hope to be overlooked..."
Quietly mumbling to himself as he sighed, the cyborg kept walking. Or was it android now? Anyhow, his diminuitive guide eventually stopped moving, causing him to too.
"...What's it now?"
Without turning around, Commander Weetsop addressed her newest 'recruit' with the tone of voice one would use towards an employee who had been neglecting their work.
"We should be fine here. You have not been able to show your ability to us yet, correct?"
"Gah... You talk like I can control that. You guys really like doing things without explaining, you know? What do you even want me to do now?"
The stoic woman silently walked over to an extremely high-tech-looking machine, ignoring his question.
"This is how we regularly perform when we have newer recruits, but it shouldn't last long enough to cause you issue. Especially with who you have met so far.... And who you'll meet now."
"Meet? First 'Red' and you... Now I have to deal with more of you?? Can you even explain one thing about this place?"
After a couple of seconds of typing in something, the Saiyan exterminator spoke again.
"Mmm. I could, but it would agitate you more if I didn't."
Groaning in annoyance, the newly upgraded Machine Mutant turned away from Weetsop while crossing his arms in his jacket. After his outburst from his recent transformation, Nase was given back his clothes, and in exchange for that (and the offer of new power), he agreed to follow her. While his objectives may have been clouded by his sudden power surge and transformation, even now he still had mistrust for ISLET. It seemed mutual in that way, at least.
"For a place that up and kidnapped me, you all sure do love making me wait. That and trying to knock me out all the time too. If you guys just learned how to say things, maybe you wouldn't have to resort to fighting me over every situation. You aren't making a good look for your secret facility or whatever if you keep trying to smash my head in!"
As the man kept speaking, he unknowingly would get tenser as time passed, causing his ki to rise similarly to how an enraged Saiyan's would. Steadily releasing more ki as he spoke, he had enough of a visible aura that almost his whole body was coated in his newly scarlet energy. While he wouldn't notice it at first, Weetsop did as she pivoted to face her associate with a speed that he couldn't register. Before he knew it, her hand was firmly on his wrist while she stared him down.
"That's enough. They aren't late, I just decided to bring you here early. I don't suppose you would rather stay in the dark testing room for longer than you had to?"
Instantly freezing up from the tight grip stuck on him, the surprised mutant's power level would quickly drop, causing the colonel to let go of him.
"You wouldn't want to damage this building anyway, for your own safety, that is."
Not knowing what to say after that, the proto-Machine Mutant would silently look at what the colonel was standing at. He couldn't understand any of what he was looking at, and yet, his hands suddenly began to move. Pressing what he didn't know to be more than random buttons, somehow, a hologram of what looked like an underground base would appear in front of him. Most notably he saw a marker pointing at what looked to be... 4,000 meters deep?
"What on earth..?"
"A map. So you do have some capability with our tech... maybe it is hereditary."
Seeing as her gaze passed him and looked into the hallway, Nase turned to see what she was looking at. Apparently, it was a who.
"Ah, here she is. This person will be in your care now that you have become a larger part of our enclave. Do try to teach them something."
The more questions Nase wanted to ask, the more cryptic Weetsop got, it seemed. Watching as the colonel walked away, Nase's attention was called back to the woman approaching them. Stopping himself from noting how short everyone here seemed to be, Nase would instead note the appearance of this stranger. She looked almost like the same group of people that kidnapped him. Instantly being put on guard by the assassin-type person, he would step back instinctively. Just what kind of person was this woman?
