[Epilogue]
"Two long years, huh?" The Namekian said, looking out of The Momentum Tower's window. It'd been a while since he'd seen some of his friends and fellow Martial Artists.
He was inside of his office, with his chair slid up next to the large window overlooking South City. "Two years of Peace, and Quiet."
In his hand, Bass appeared to be holding a flyer for the one hundred and fifty first world martial arts tournament, a revival of a yearly tradition once upon a time. It was going to be held right on one of the neighboring islands, so close in fact, that he wondered why he hadn't taken a moment to visit during all of his days here.
But he was different now than he was two years back. While always efficient, two years ago he exercised his abilities to make shortcuts in Earth's society. He flew with ki across lands in hours, teleported instantly across the world. No one else had that ability, and so it was no wonder he'd gotten an advantage in getting things done rapidly and efficiently. He chose to play it their way, doing as Earthlings do on Earth. He took his car to work everyday, he flew on a commercial airline when he needed to travel somewhere.
But he wouldn't be Bass if he hadn't set some time aside for some good old training- but there was nothing old about this little routine of his. As always, his relentless stubbornness to push the seal on what he and his body were capable of had done exactly that, but not without associated risks. The Namekian understood even before acquiring it, that his power could be a negative thing for Earth. He was aware enough that Power Levels had signatures and potency. If he let out his full power, he'd be a beacon to any would be assailant charting the edges of space.
So he simply didn't, gaining mastery over his ability to suppress himself. It was equal parts a conscious effort at one point, but he seemed to by not training as frequently after the fact have his ki generation calm down so he didn't feel like he was going to overflow. Still, it was ready to go at a moments notice.
As always, he'd watch over the Earth.
But first, he had a Burrito to grab.
See you later!
