Class Features:
Destroyer - The first time you use a non-Finisher-type Special Technique in a thread, it costs 0 ki and gains an additional +10 attack modifier. After the first time a Special Technique is used in the current thread, it gains +4 damage for the remainder of the thread.
Final Word - You gain 1 additional use of every Finisher-type Special Technique that you know, per thread.
Condense - Your Focus Energy Basic Technique now has an irreducible cost of 5 ki. Each use of Focus Energy per thread increases the damage of your Special Techniques by +1; this effect stacks per use of Focus Energy.
Seat of Power - The first time you use a Finisher-type Special Technique in a thread, it costs 0 Ki and gains an additional +10 Attack. If your Finisher-type Special Technique successfully hits its target on its first use, you may use that technique 1 additional time in that thread.
Overcharge - Whenever you sacrifice a Standard Action for a Bonus Action and use Focus Energy with that Bonus Action, the damage of the next Special Technique is DOUBLED.
Appearance:
Standing at just under four feet tall, there are a lot of people who underestimate the diminutive monster - but they rarely do so twice!! Her crown of bony horns, thick tail, spiny shell and clawed, lizard-like feet are all dead giveaways that she is far from a standard human, but really compared to a lot of the freaks running around the world it isn't that worthy of comment. Unlike many of her fellow monsters, Taras at least bothers with clothes! She particularly favours fine dresses and shiny jewelry - the shinier the better in her book - though this isn't usually enough to off-set the somewhat savage nature of her species.
Try as she might to cultivate her long mane of flowing golden locks and distract from the pointiness of her ears with shiny pearls, there's no hiding the sharp teeth and ferocious aspect she was born with. Nor does the little crown she wears look all that convincing. She really is royalty though! At least, in her mind...
Personality:
Arrogant, vain and prideful - Taras is every inch the traditional Queen ... only without any of the decorum, etiquette or dignity.
Taras thoroughly believes that SHE has the right to rule, and that the fact that the world does not bow and scrape at her feet is perhaps the greatest injustice that has ever existed. If there's one thing she hates more than being disrespected, it is hard work! And her rather pitiful state means that she has to work extremely hard for most of the time, which is just literally the worst and most heinous things that could ever have happened in the history of the universe.
Taras' superiority is not based on anything so brutish as physical power, so transitory as wealth or so variable as intellect - no, for Taras, her innate superiority comes from the fact that she is of royal blood! Her father told her so, and it must be true, therefore she deserves to rule the world, not some stupid dog people!
For all her terrible qualities, Taras is not without her redeeming qualities too... even if one would be rather hard-pressed to say that she is anything close to being a good person.
She is, for example, unfailingly loyal to those she considers her friends and allies. Whilst she is difficult to deal with, those rare few souls who can put up with her will find someone who will go to extreme lengths in order to help them reach their goals and live their best lives. Those who recognise her royalty and treat her with the respect she feels she is due will find their indulgence rewarded by someone who can be surprisingly thoughtful, nurturing and empathetic for those she considers part of her 'inner circle'.
Taras is also not actually a psychopath. Whilst violence is, of course, something she is happy to dish out in great measure she does not revel in cruelty, death or destruction for no reason. She doesn't particularly enjoy hurting people; it would really be much better if everyone she encountered could just acknowledge her superiority and then they could all get on with their lives!
She is also smarter and more cunning than she looks - which is, admittedly, not very difficult. She is not very well educated, she doesn't know the ins and outs of world governance, law, finance or science - but she doesn't need to. She's royalty! She has people to worry about all those things for her. What she does have a gift for is understanding people, and looking at the world through the lens of the predator. She may not agree with might-makes-right (after all, she is not the mightiest being in the universe - yet) but she does understand those who think that way very well, and she understands how to look for forms of leverage in order to place herself higher and higher up the food chain.
History:
Taras was raised by her father, Goji-sama, an immense monster of similar (albeit much older and more masculine) aesthetic to herself. He was always cagey about what happened with her mother and where, exactly, she came from. What he was not cagey about was the reason why they had to live in the caverns underneath the southern deserts; why they had been driven underground and why they would stay here forever: The World Government had instigated a coup against their rightful rule thousands of years earlier and they had been forced to shelter here ever since.
This was, of course, complete nonsense. The truth was that Goji-sama was a bitter and hateful old man who had unexpectedly found himself in the possession of a fertilised egg of one of his people. The particular kind of monster that they are is exceedingly rare, insanely long-lived, and able to regenerate from practically any wound given enough time (though time is the important word there). As a result of their generally-sour disposition, the tendency of powerful beings like King Piccolo to enslave them, and their disinterest in the 'mayflies' that are humanity, most of their people had entered voluntary hibernation long ago. He was also a grand and arrogant man, though, and wished to portray himself with a wounded nobility rather than admit that he had been forced to flee like a worm. His attempt to save his own face was, ultimately, his undoing.
Taras was possessed of more energy and indignation than most of her kind. Or, perhaps, Goji-sama had once been as fiery as she was but time had dulled his fervor. Either way, the continual yapping of the youngster grated on Goji-sama in a way that nothing else had managed to for centuries. She simply would not give up on the idea of returning to the world of humans and imposing her will upon them.
When she turned 15, he could take it no more, and went into hibernation himself. This was a shock to Taras' system, as she didn't even know that such a thing was possible. All at once, the 'King' was dead. She was no longer a Princess, but a fully-fledged Queen, the Last of the Dragons, and she could no longer be restrained by anyone.
Naturally, she immediately left home with her few meagre belongings and found herself in the rough and tumble Southern Lands. Within the first week she had been mugged, beaten up, and left for dead by some of the more callous denizens of the desert.
A lesser person might have taken this as a sign that she should retreat and reconsider her options, but not Taras! She refused to be bowed by the humiliation she was forced to endure and instead threw herself into battle time and again against those who had thought they could slay her. Horrified by their own inability to slay this child, and her gradually increasing levels of strength and skill, she eventually declared herself their Queen and recruited them into her cause.
That was some seven years ago. It has been a long, slow, gradual process of learning and discovery, but she has spent over one third of her life under the harsh desert sun now. It is time that she journeys further into the world and forges The Wild Dragon Gang into a force that can put her on the throne where she belongs!

It was hard to believe that a place like this could exist!
Taras’ tail lashed behind her as she stepped through the city streets. There were just so many people here! A mass of humanity completely unlike anything else that she had seen in all her years. She had no idea who this ‘Duke Satan’ was supposed to be (presumably, in her mind, someone who would immediately prostrate himself before a true Queen returned to the world!) but he certainly knew how to gather a lot of people together!
“Ah, my Queen, perhaps we should come back after dark?!”
Katsu, a snivelling man not much taller than she, was the only member of the gang who had felt comfortable coming all the way into town. Something about bounties or similar? Pshaw! There was no authority in this world or any other which could put a bounty on her royal head!
“NONSENSE!” She bellowed, hands on her hips, “I didn’t come all this way just to skulk around like some common thief!”
“But… we are… common thieves…”
Poor Katsu. He was a loyal man, but he didn’t have much in the way of guts. Maybe he’d grow into rule when she gave him a royal title. For now, though, they had far more important things to worry about – like ice cream.
“This looks like a good place!” She said, pointing dramatically to the parlour, “We’ll have some lunch here and get to know the locals!”
Three hours and a dozen sundaes later…
The parlour was in disarray. The bizarre young woman had been a complete nightmare to deal with and her chaperone(?) had proven completely incapable of even starting to rein her in. Odette really didn’t know what to say. The wreckage of so many desserts looked more like something she would expect to see in a warzone than in her poor ice cream shop.
“Miss, Miss, please, Miss?”
Taras’ head sloooowly turned to face her, and Odette was struck by the sudden feeling that – even though this girl was only taller than her because she was standing on top of the table – she was very, very small.
“…. Y-you’re, disturbing, the other patrons…”
One stubby finger was jabbed, suddenly, into her face and the waitress jumped back with a squeak.
“First off!” The girl shouted, “You will address me as QUEEN or YOUR MAJESTY, none of this MISS nonsense!”
The force of girl’s shouting had Odette retreating, serving plate held up as a kind of impromptu shield, lest she start hurling glasses around again, as she had done when she’d said she couldn’t have any more if she didn’t have any money.
“Secondly! YOU should be HONOURED to be DISTURBED by ME! The great QUEEN TARAS! Now begone, and do not return without MORE CHOCOLATE ICED CREAMS!!”
And at last, it was at that point that the cops pulled up outside. Two full squad cars led by grumpy old Officer Bone. The squat, grey-furred dog-man raised a megaphone to his lips.
“You in there! That’s enough dairy-based larceny! Come out with your hands up!”
“Queen, Taras, Your Majesty.” Katsu babbled, “Please, PLEASE, they’ve got a LOT of guns, I really don’t think we should DO this, maybe we can go out the back?!”
Taras let her eyes drift from the terrified man, to the traumatised waitress, and finally, out to the increasingly-dangerous-looking officers who did, indeed, seem to have a lot of guns. She raised one claw to her lips, and frowned delicately.
“… Perhaps, you might be right. But not because we’re scared! We just… wouldn’t want to make a mess in this wonderful establishment!”
And with that, she broke into a dead run, through the back wall, Katsu scrambling to keep up in her wake.
