Name: Hasadora Edo Alias: Oberon, King of the Ironwood Species: Hybrid: ½ Human, ½ Demon [Serpent Deity] Age: 155 (Appears 18) Gender: Male Faction: None Lineage: Titania [Mother] and Alderon Edo [Father]
Appearance:
Physical Information Height: 5ft 6in. Weight: 135lbs. Hair: Long, straight Hair Color: Dark Brown Eye Color: Hazel Complexion: Pale, smooth
Appearance:
He bears the easy smile of a coiled serpent. Slick and charming, one never sees the end coming until he's already struck and bitten. His eyes are a soft hazel hue flecked in gold, suffused with an inhuman essence. His nose is sharp, capable of picking up the slightest of scents.
Oberon's youthful face is smooth and unblemished, framed in long, dark hair that sways and ebbs, flowing freely about his dainty shoulders. He is slight of build, bearing a small stature and narrow frame that is deceptively hardy due to his hybrid physiology.
His clothing is shamanic in nature: a long, flowing cloak several times his size, red harem pants worn baggy and loose as well as armored gauntlets and boots that assist in channeling his ki energy and manifesting his magical ability.
Personality:
Oberon is a charming individual who uses flattery in order to win the trust and respect of others. His smile is alluring, and his cultured mannerism is that of one who views any and all he meets as close friends.
This is but a means to an end: to discern the hearts of others, only to manipulate them in the end. It is with his honeyed words and false promises he wins the loyalty of others, brokering deals and proposing oaths he'd no sooner keep.
As a practitioner of all types of magic, centuries of trial and error has opened his mind to the entangling strings that make up the unseen forces of the surrounding universe. He is a seeker of all manner of things arcane and spiritual, insatiable in his appetite for all things of a magical nature—forbidden or not.
Oberon fears that which is inevitable: death. Death means the end before he has scratched the surface of his search for arcane power, and he pursues this knowledge, manipulating and deceiving as a means to justify the desired end result.

History: He never knew his father. His mother, a serpent deity who had long existed on Earth, often told him that his father was a powerful Earthling sorcerer who regularly dabbled in dark magics in pursuit of an otherworldly cure to his ailing body. Alderon Edo summoned her, where they struck a deal: he would provide her with an heir, and in return, she would cure his illness.
The shaman sorcerer kept his end of the bargain—a short nine months later, Titania found her belly swelling with the promised child. It was far too late for Alderon: his disease had taken his body, making his frail and weak. He did not live to see his son birthed into the world.
Haramusa Edo, despite his unique physiology, was born a frail and sickly child who suffered from the same degenerative diseased that brought the end of his father. Titania, believing her desire for an heir was best secured elsewhere, abandoned the child in the Ironwood Forest and left him to his dire fate.
Oberon did not die.
He grew quickly, aging to adolescence in a matter of months. Despite the disease in his body, his partial deity kept him healed just enough to survive the disease, but much like his father, he became obsessed with discerning the arcane knowledge long hidden within the world.
The Ironwood, a dark and magical forest brimming with all manner of strange creatures, taught him to survive and made him strong. He eked out an existence whilst learning to harness the powerful magic within him. There were times when his illness caught up to him, each passing day drawing him closer and closer to death's door.
A century and a half of life in the Ironwood taught him that nothing in life would be given to him. If he sought to survive and grow in power, Oberon knew he would need to venture out of the enchanted forest sequestered at the edge of the continent, traveling and exploring the world.
He would find that which he sought—a means to cheat death while capturing as many magical artifacts and arcane tokens as he could manage.
Nothing would keep him from his desire: a peek beyond the curtain of their reality to survey that which lay beyond.
RP Sample: It was always dark within the Ironwood. The dense copse of towering trees formed a tangled canopy of thick, gnarled limbs and ink-black leaves that absorbed every drop of sunlight that touched them.
This left the forest cool during the warmest seasons, and due to the many currents that flowed to and from the Great Pool—a large lake filled with magical lichen and glowing moss, as well as many a strange aquatic creature teeming with latent magic—the magical forest remained humid, a natural defense against the chill of wintry months.
The King of the Ironwood sat upon a moss-covered rock at the water's edge. He traced his lithe fingers through the cool waters, watching the ripples expand from the epicenter of his delicate touch. The concentric circles grew and expanded, overlapping and rebounding off one another until they faded into the obscurity of placid waters.
It was a gentle smile that touched his lips, and youthful eyes that studied the droplets of water clinging to the tips of his tapered fingers. His thoughts were on the coming journey, when he would venture out of the only home he knew in search of the many magical treasures hidden within this world.
Magic preserved and corrupted; it bolstered and eroded; it opened up a world of possibility and, if one were not careful, ushered down the path of destruction. But it would not destroy him.
Something shifted behind him. It blended into the shadows of the forest, its smooth skin rippling as it reflected its surroundings with chameleonic ease. A massive, ancient presence—his guardian spirit, Tepes.
"Soon, my dear friend." Oberon's soft smile brightened, eyes alight with possibility. "We shall seek and embrace all this world has to offer. May the gods pity the fools who obstruct our paths."
He raised a hand, snapping his fingers. A purple flame swirled around him, and in an instant, he was gone. Vanished—as if the Ironwood itself had devoured him.
