"Can I have your autograph?" "No." "Hey, take a picture with me!" "No." "Wait, I know you! You're Barlei-san! Everyone, look! It's Barl—" The crunch of metal cut the teen's fervent declaration short. The hood of his car was smashed, metal crumpled around the black combat boot of its wearer. The front end of the vehicle had been smashed into the ground; the rear tires spun forlornly, dangling helpless in the air. The teenager was stunned. His eyes traced the boot up past the pant leg, bomber jacket, goggles, and into the scowl of an irritated Saiyan. Barlei quirked an eyebrow at him. "Oh, look. An accident. You might wanna bail, kid, before something even worse happens."The ginger headed boy's eyes went wide behind his sunglasses. He scrambled out of his vehicle and ran off. A crowd gathered at the busy street intersection. Most were curious about the accident, but at the sight of him, their eyes lit up and they surged forward. He took a hesitant step backward. He'd only agreed to that film and commercial because he thought Director Cabbage was a guy with influence. Barlei wanted into that World Martial Arts Tournament, but he was a nobody—no one was going to endorse a small fry. Starring in a minor role seemed like a good idea at the time. It had the averse effect he wanted: there was no endorsement to be had—stolen by a woman who didn't need it ( Clove) in his opinion—and, worse still, now he was semi-famous. And a whole lot richer. His plan backfired; he tried to make the best of a crappy situation, venturing into West City to find himself something he was in dire need of— a place to call home. He appreciated the villagers of Kousetsu Village—Grisha, Okora, Lena and her grumpy father—but they alone could not satisfy the emptiness he felt in his gut. Barlei thought a home would do the trick. This was clearly a bad idea. "You've got to be kidding me..." He removed his boot from the car's crumpled hood, planting his hands on his hips as he stared at the encroaching crowd. "I miss when people used to run away from me. Leave me alone, will ya?"They ignored him or couldn't hear his request. The crowd noise only grew as more gathered, pointing and smiling at him. A flash of irritation shot through him. His jaw tensed. Were they mocking him? He put up with his star-struck fans because Clove told him it was normal. But he had about reached the end of his rope. "Oh, that's it!" He raised a clenched fist and shook it at the crowd. "You people have seconds to clear out or else."His threat fell on deaf ears—some of them started to laugh and clap, as if he were putting on an impromptu performance. His anger simmered to a boil. He was an elite: handpicked to spearhead many a campaign, his platoon wiped out entire populations within weeks, and he had even been assigned to guard many Saiyan nobles and their families. Only to be reduced to a mockery in their eyes—some dumb monkey who performed tricks at their behest. Ripped from his former life to be the butt of a joke in one he never asked for. So, then, why not blow it all to hell? He outstretched at arm, extending his palm. Bits of electricity danced around his splayed fingers as a volatile energy began to gather in his palm. It was black as the abyss, dancing wildly; an occasional spark would zap the ground, leaving a smoldering mark. The crowd grew alarmed at the sight of it. A man in thick glasses and a business suit dropped his suitcase and ran. A pair of girls screamed. It created a panic as the throng of onlookers knocked into each other like bowling pins, eager to get away from the rising Saiyan star they crowded around moments ago. The massive uproar in the panicking swarm of fans that the lone Saiyan had caused resulted in a large sum of people attempting to flee the scene, fearing for their well-being in appropriate response to the sight of the black sphere of lethal, burning energy. The crowd's noticeable shift in position had left one woman standing where many fans had once stood. Unlike the vast majority of the population in the immediate vicinity, she did not look afraid. She didn't try to run, hide, or cry for help. Instead, she simply stood amongst the sudden chaos, confidently smiling at the rather unfortunate celebrity. Her unnaturally long ponytail swayed from side to side in the cool morning breeze. Her height seemed to be slightly higher than the average of those around her. Her outfit looked sporty and was bright red in color, yet it was fit for fast-paced combat. Her tanned face produced a smug expression, as if she were a classic female bully at an average high school. Her appearance's most notable feature was probably the seven swords she carried around in scabbards, three being securely strapped to each of her hips, and the seventh was on her back. Needless to say, she looked rather hostile. She stepped forward, and began walking towards the Saiyan responsible for the crowd, trying to gain his attention.
"Barlei, right? I've heard so much about you."
She stopped advancing forward a mere few feet away from the man, staring rather intensely. Without caring about a response, she continued.
"This attention's unwanted, right? Please excuse me for one moment."
Based on what had just happened, it could easily be assumed that the unlikely actor felt nothing more than animosity towards the now slightly dwindling pack of fearful fans. The woman glanced back at them to see their varying reactions, smirking slightly as she turned around to fully face a large section of the throng. Her eyebrows arched downwards sharply as she tapped on the hilts of the swords on her right side, hinting at something. Not even a second later, crimson, swirling energy began to materialize into an orb within her left palm, and before you knew it, people returned to their panicked states once again. People were already beginning to fully flee when she made a simple announcement. "Leave us." Some people complied quickly, and others either didn't comply, or didn't comply quickly enough. The dangerous woman tossed the gathering energy in her hand towards the floor before her, producing a decent explosion that prompted just about everyone around the two fighters to get away from them, if they cared about their own lives. Within a minute, the place had rid itself of enough people for the girl to finally do as she pleased without needing to worry all too much about collateral damage. One thing she might need to worry about however is the authorities showing up sooner or later.
"Anyways..."
The tanned swordswoman turned around again, and extended a hand of friendship towards the Saiyan, as if nothing had just happened. The grin on her face was unsettling, given the situation, and her energy signature remained strong. Was it intimidation?
"Name's Cylie. Nice to finally meet you."

Several hundred down. A few dozen more to go. The crowd dispersed as people sought safety from the impending peril. Some in the crowd seemed to still believe it was all part of an act, paralyzed with indecision. Others drew their CC phones and snapped pictures, uploading the strange incident for the world to behold. Barlei cringed, turning his back on the people. This situation just went from bad to worse. As much as he lamented the undue attention, for once he felt like he had taken control in this life. He had some say in the direction things went. He didn't want to alienate his new fanbase; he wanted some measure of peace and quiet as he tried to figure out this new life of his. Maybe it wouldn't hurt... to consider an apology. Barlei spun back around. "Hey, uh... look, I—" A pretty-looking samurai stared back at him. She bore a hime-style ponytail that swept well past her shoulders, and several katana blades were attached to her narrow hips. Her lips were twisted into a smug grin—the sort of confidence that only came with any real measure of strength. The girl appeared to be just another fan of his, asking for clarification regarding who he was. Great. Another one. But something about this girl struck him as... different. She picked up on non-verbal cues well enough, guessing that he was annoyed by all the unwanted attention. She excused herself for a moment and turned to address those who had still not fled the scene. It was like watching a movie reel of the past few minutes, but he'd been replaced with a young, sleeker, female version—volatile, red energy danced in her palm as she leveled a threat at the remaining onlookers. When that didn't work, she took it a step further. The explosion rocked the ground beneath them, sending a plume of debris mushrooming into the air. Barlei shoved his face into the crook of his elbow, coughing and waving away the thick cloud of dust settling around him. The hell was this girl's problem? The people were frightened enough. All he wanted was to find a nice place to live—this girl was becoming an obstacle towards that. Like any good soldier, he would remove such an obstacle. Barlei frowned at the resulting damage to the street and surrounding intersection. "You made it worse. A lot worse. I'm starting to think you've got a few screws loose."Maybe the insult would be enough to drive her away, but it was unlikely. She spun back around, satisfied at the result of her handiwork. Her smug grin was back in place as she introduced herself as Cylie, extending a hand for him to shake. He frowned, rubbing the back of his head as he stared down at her hand. He was a soldier, not a promoter. Dealing with crazy fan girls was someone else's problem. "Look, uh... Cylie? Listen. I appreciate what you're trying to do for me. But I'm getting some real psycho vibes from you, kid. You probably shouldn't go around blowing stuff up. These Earthlings are like ants. They break easily." He snubbed her hand, waving it off as he stepped around Cylie and walked away. "See you around. Watch my next movie or... somethin'." Cylie's posture suffered as Barlei completely ignored the handshake she had offered him. Not only that, but he simply began to walk away from the entire situation! Her smile had just about evaporated as the Saiyan gave her his parting words, now replaced by a pouty frown. That wasn't fair. That was just... rude. After all, she did just provide him with some relief and time away from a large crowd. She felt that he should be thanking her for doing what she did. It wouldn't end like this. Not until after Cylie found exactly what she was looking for. Within an instant, the swordswoman had dashed in front of Barlei, blocking his current path. She waved her hands around frantically, trying to fully gain the man's attention this time.
"W-Wait! After I help you, you're just gonna leave without at least giving me a chance to say what I wanna say? Besides, I didn't kill anyone, did I? Or at least... I'm pretty sure I didn't."
She puffed her cheeks childishly, and placed her hands on her hips sassily. Anyone with a properly working pair of eyes could tell that she wasn't very happy in that moment, being ignored by the very same man she nearly blew up a whole street for, but within the next moment, she was smiling cheerfully once again, as if nothing had happened. One of her hands had rested comfortably on one of her sword hilts, wrapping its fingers around the tough leather, ready to brandish it at the slightest notice. She began speaking again, and her words flew out of her mouth swiftly, and resulted in multiple run-on sentences being formed.
"Now then, I can tell that we didn't exactly get off on the right foot, sooooo I'll try again. I'm Cylie, one of your fans. But not just any fan. Nooo, I'd like to call myself your Number One fan."
Cylie was being annoying. And it didn't even look as if she was fully aware of it. Her face looked so punchable right about now. The sparkling eyes, wide grin, and cheeky expression all sealed the deal. While she may seemed like she wanted to keep Barlei in a conversation, she certainly wasn't doing such a swell job at keeping him interested. If anything, all she's managed to accomplish is successfully presenting herself as an axe-crazy admirer of the newly made half-celebrity. She seemed to have realized this as soon as she paused her dialogue, her tone immediately switching from that of a joyous, hyperactive child to a more serious and flat one.
"Look, just hear me out. I've been keeping an eye on you for a while, and after seeing you in that commercial... I've just felt frustrated. It just annoys me that a fighter with such potential is going to waste in some studio. You see where I'm going with this?
Barlei was a Saiyan. And Cylie hasn't had to deal with many people of the Saiyan race in her time. But she knew of them. She knew how the typical Saiyan acted, and what they were prone to doing. However, this man was much more than the 'typical Saiyan'. At least, in Cylie's eyes. She'd been looking for some fresh legs for a while now. And here, fresh legs stood directly before her. He seemed like he could be a capable soldier. He seemed like he could follow orders and carry them out properly. He seemed like he wouldn't hesitate to take away the precious life of a human being if he was asked to do so. Just the mere thought of working with Barlei to reach her goals made her feel excited. But she couldn't imagine him throwing away what he already has now to become some average criminal. So... she'd have to take another approach.
"I'm only asking one thing of you, Barlei. I want a good 'ole fashioned fight with you. You alone. What do ya say? Oh, and uh, don't try to walk away again."
She began to draw one of her swords out of its home, the metal glinting under the blinding light of the sun. Cylie was no longer looking at Barlei as a glorified autograph, but rather as an opponent.

Barlei arched an eyebrow, dark eyes slipping toward her waist. It wasn't so that he could admire her figure—though her hip was narrow and shapely—so much as track her movements. Her fingers slipped around the hilt of one of her swords. Steel rasped against the scabbard as she drew it. It caught and gleamed with a hint of the bright afternoon sunlight. Her frantic school girl act and false camaraderie was exposed at her veiled threat and her actions. She would not let him get away from her. His eyes shifted to the surrounding scene. The wail of sirens could be heard in the distance. Bits of debris littered the broken streets. The street pavement had ruptured outward from the epicenter of Cylie's blast—it wasn't lethal, but those who observed it acted as if it was, stirring more pandemonium. He sighed, turning his gaze skyward. "Planet Zetho... no, that can't be right. Planet Hoshat? No. Man, it's been a long time—too many planets, too many dead." He glanced over at her. "Sorry, kid... can't remember the last time someone pulled a sword on me. But I can tell you they're no longer breathing. You wanna fight me? Fine. Just quit whinin' about it." Cylie's emerald green eyes slowly began to narrow in annoyance as Barlei began to recall his former adventures on other planets, and provided his 'Number One Fan' with a simple warning. She was just about ready to roll her eyes casually, but then, her supposed idol accepted her fight invitation, with the conditions being that she stops moaning on about it. Her eyes grew bright and sparkly again, and her frown transformed into a smile rather quickly, as if ordered to do so by a tyrant. Barlei's agreement to the spar was met with a fist pump from the girl, who mumbled a few words of triumph under her breath. She didn't expect him to comply in all honesty. Upon reflection, Cylie felt that his rejection of her proposal would've made this project she was currently carrying out a lot more difficult, but it would definitely be more interesting. Either way, she wasn't about to let the chance that was presented to her go to waste. Nodding madly, she showed the man her gratitude. "Thanks, Barlei. I hope I get to knock a bit of sense into ya."She completed her sentence within the same moment in which she already moved to launch an assault. Her aura exploded in a beautiful shade of fiery crimson around her, as she launched herself through the air. The ground where she once stood flattened in an instant, as though gravity had increased to an untold level, as she raises her free left hand, her fingers curling up in her palm to form a firm fist. Her eyes met the Saiyan's as a look of absolute pride, confidence and conviction passes over her features. Her energy output rushed upwards in this moment, her current level of power matching Barlei's. Her arm was thrusted forward, displacing the very air that dared to stand in its path as it travelled towards its target. The target was Barlei's cheek. It could either strike its target or nothing at this point. Regardless of what it did, Cylie will have hopped backwards, creating a few meters of distance between her and her current opponent. She reached into her left pocket, and withdrew a small glass vial from it. She removed the sponge cap with her teeth, and gulped down the bit of sparkling, clear water it held. She tossed it to the side, and within a few more motions, Cylie had already drawn all six of the swords on her hips, three hilts being tightly gripped between the fingers of each of her hands. She was fully expecting to emerge as the victor of this altercation, and her appearance certainly denoted that. The furrowed brows, the sideways glance, the smirk, her posture and her lack of a fighting pose were all clear signs. "Here we go."

It has the symbol for Kami upon it, and is said to provide a great amount of power to the user. Type: Lost Artifact - Supplementary Zeni Value: 600000 Zeni Cost: 120000 Activation: Bonus Action Effect: Choose one of your skills, and increase its value to 50 until the end of that thread. As an item of great power simply possessing the Sacred Water of Korin generates an increase of 50% to the user's base power level. Limit: One use per thread.

She flew at him with all the fury of a seasoned fighter. Her fist collided, sending him reeling backwards into the hood of the car he'd stomped into the ground moments earlier. He chuckled, picking himself up off the crumpled heap of steel, rubbing at the ache in his jaw. She stunk of pride. Her stench was unmistakable—a fighter who flaunted their skills and took great pride in their abilities. It was the only explanation as to why she would go for a direct assault. A good fighter would assess their foe before deciding on a route of attack; a great soldier understood this. But if she wanted to come at him directly, it saved him the headache of assessing her strategy and formulating a counter-attack. "Not bad. If I weren't a tough bastard, you'd have knocked some teeth loose." He lowered his hand, clenching it into a fist. A rush of satisfaction flooded through Cylie's mind as her clenched fist made clear contact with her foe. It was no more than a minor hit that produced minor results, but it was a start. The beginning of a long road, Cylie thought. The chuckle that trickled into her hearing almost succeeded in getting her to chuckle, but the tanned girl suppressed it. She monitored the man's energy signature carefully as he dragged himself back to his feet, watching as he ignited his jet black aura. Cylie had never seen an aura like that before in her time. It sparked a certain curiosity and interest in her eyes, but she could worry about trivial matters such as those after she was finished mopping the floor with the Saiyan actor. He questioned the empty vial that she had tossed, showing at least a bit of interest in the water that was within it. It could not be any more clear that it wasn't any regular water that she had just consumed. After she had her drink of water, her senses were heightened and sharpened, the world around her seemed to slow for a moment, and her eyesight had improved impressively. Tiny details that she didn't notice before jumped out at her in her vision. She subtly noticed that she now could properly study the texture of the asphalt road they stood on. It wasn't a drug. It wasn't a potion. No, it was something much more than that. It was rather amusing to the girl, listening to how things 'used to be' back in Barlei's time. She thought back to the strife, pain and trauma that she had fought through just to get her hands on this sacred water. And yet, despite how important it seemed, Cylie was still confident that she could take the Saiyan down even without the power-up that she water provided. All of her training in efficiently and effectively controlling her ki really made a difference. She wasn't able to finish and maximize her gains for today, since she had sprung out of her training session as soon as she heard of Barlei's whereabouts, but her current suppressed power somewhat matched the Saiyan's, and she could slam into her full strength in an instant. This fight would be easy. Or so she thought. Barlei sprung at her, his assault sharing a few similarities with Cylie's first attack. He had moved so quickly that even with the drink's blessing, she couldn't react in time. The haymaker solidly slammed into her face. The impact caused her feet to leave the ground as she fell onto the earth's floor, cracking up the ground as she sunk into it after a rough landing. It took all of the strength in her fingers to keep a firm hold of the swords. In a blur, she vanished from her uncomfortable bed in the earth, and reappeared a few feet away from the small Cylie-shaped crater in the ground. She blinked confusingly. What was that? She should've been able to dodge something like that easily with the agility that the water granted her! She shook her head, denouncing the occurrence as pure luck, gritting her teeth in the process. She'd hit back twice as hard, anyways. She dashed forward as her current power level began to surge upwards at an alarming rate, nearly topping before she took a swing at Barlei. More than a few swings, actually. Three quick horizontal strokes, swinging from both the left and right sides were thrown at the man with the ferocity of a wildcat.

Cylie's blades rent the air between them with frightening ease. She slashed wildly at the big Saiyan, blades curving in ferocious arcs he could neither deflect nor avoid. He threw up a hasty guard, wincing in pain as the sharp katanas cut him to ribbons. They sliced through the thick leather of his bomber jacket until it hung from his frame in tatters. Blood welled and spilled in the lacerations, staining the front of his t-shirt a disturbing crimson. Pain flooded his mind, yet he relied on such pain to sharpen his reason in the frantic mess that was battle. He sprung backwards, barely avoiding the last of her wild assault. He stumbled on his landing, almost losing his footing. He cradled an arm against his injured ribs where the point of one of her swords had wounded him. It stung something fierce, much like the rest of the bloodied cuts that now adorned his entire body. This was not how he planned to spend his weekend. Coming to West City was supposed to be a step toward embracing his new life; instead, he was thrust into the midst of a senseless fight. Cylie might have approached him under the pretense of a friendly duel, but the woman fought as if it were life-or-death. He'd be an idiot to let his go on any longer. "Not bad. Damn, that hurt." He let out a raspy chuckle, wincing at the pain in his side. "You don't pull punches, do you? My mistake for going soft on you. Not anymore." He spread his feet apart, gritting his teeth against the pain of his injuries. Palms stretched outward, his aura flared to life, rising higher and higher into the sky. It stirred surrounding debris, his spiritual pressure causing the ground beneath him to crack and fissure. "A prolonged battle doesn't favor me in these conditions. So I'm just gonna put an end to this right here. Whether it's your end or my own, I guess we're about to find out." His jet-black hair whipped wildly in the torrent of his energy. A large black orb of violent, crackling energy appeared in front of him, growing steadily by the second. "Either way, kid... you're something special. So much so, I'll give you a damn autograph if you survive this one!" A loud warrior's cry ripped from this throat as he let loose his attack. It seemed as if Cylie's initial shock from being struck had shone through in the form of her response. She had been set on striking back twice as hard, and she sure did strike back twice as hard. Three unforgiving and ruthless slashes of swords had cut through the fresh air, and by extension, Barlei. She hadn't been holding back in that moment, and it showed. She swung her swords carelessly, completely dashing away any thoughts about her opponent's wellbeing. The only thing that ran through her mind in the heat of the moment was the rush of a battle, where the best of the best emerge on top, stomping on anybody who happens to get in the way. This... was hardly that. The flash of red that had entered into her vision had forced her to halt, as she was sure that she had just drawn blood. She had. She raised her swords in front of her eyes, carefully examining the stain of blood that now adorned the sharp metal. The woman didn't think that she'd have managed to go that far. Then again, she had drawn her lethal weapons against an opponent whom she deduced was inferior to her, under the suggestion of a friendly spar. Maybe she had expected more from this fight. Either way, it was safe to say that this game she had started was now over. At Barlei's admittance of his mistake in judgment, she put her swords back in their place, chuckling awkwardly while apologizing for her behavior. "Ehehe... Sorry."The Saiyan did not look like he was fine with going down easily. Power flowed from out of his palms as his amazing aura showcased his strength. Cylie began to grin as she saw the brilliant sphere of ki form in front of her. This was the extent of the man's power, was it not? If that was the case, then Cylie will probably have to show Barlei just what she is made of. Her own aura ignited as darkened red energy enveloped her body. Her ponytail thrashed around violently in the midst of her aura, and the gale was whipping her crimson jacket about. The Saiyan released the energy from his palms, and Cylie refused to back down. She failed to raise her arms defensively, or dodge the attack in time. Although, she did not plan to do either of those things. Instead, while letting a loud shout escape from her mouth, she leapt at the opposing energy, crashing into it voluntarily. The volatile ki detonated on contact, but it did not stop the girl. Pain exploded in her head as she felt the harsh impact of the burning energy, but she bit down hard on her own teeth, gritting them. It looked as if she had jumped straight through the blast, smoke emanating from her clothes as she barreled into Barlei, throwing one straight punch at his face, fully intent on finishing the fight.

Desperation begot destruction. It infiltrated the ranks of men, turning stalwart warriors into quivering, craven men. Desperation sowed discord among armies. Desperation stripped kings of their dignity, and exalted despotic tyrants. Desperation spurned ingenuity, turning tactical genius into a helpless flailing against an inevitable defeat. It stole the bravery of mighty men, hastening the destruction of all. Any good soldier worth their salt understood this simple truth. Eight centuries had obscured Barlei's long vision—in acting out of desperation, he'd sealed his own defeat. The fist collided with his jaw, sending him reeling backwards. His feet left the ground as he flew through the air, landing hard a few meters away. The pavement buckled beneath his weight, leaving a large crater around his battered body. He laid on his stomach, face pressed into the grime and dirt, unmoving. He wasn't dead—far from it. Barlei let out a long, tired sigh. It was the second time he'd had his ass handed to him, and by a woman no less. He had no problem with women, per say—there had been plenty of women in Vegeta's army, and a few even served in his own platoon. But female warriors were far and few in-between; they were not commonplace when he was a soldier, much as they existed now on Earth. Times were changing. Earth and its culture varied greatly from that on his old home planet. He was having a terrible time adjusting to this new truth. Every time it seemed he just might take a productive step forward, some great obstacle—or some disgustingly cheery teenager—cropped up to slap him down. Something had to give. Something needed to change. Crushing defeat after crushing defeat—this could no longer stand. He had the soul of a warrior, spilling blood on dozens of planets. Earth, nor its denizens, would break him. He grunted, pushing himself up out of the dirt. Bits of grime and dust fell off of him as he stumbled back to his feet. Barlei studied the cuts on his arms and hands, glancing up at Cylie. One of his eyes were shut against the flow of blood stemming from a cut above his left brow. "You satisfied, kid? You gave as good as you got, hell, even better I'd say. Mighty impressive. We'll have to do this dance again sometime... maybe next time, I'll come better prepared." He sighed, lifting his dark gaze to the skies as they took on a pensive quality. "...it was Planet Zethroa, by the way." His dark gaze met hers. "The last time a warrior drew a sword on me and walked away with all his teeth in tact." He slipped his jacket from his shoulders, letting it fall to the ground. Barlei grasped the hem of his torn up shirt, tugging it up and off over his head, revealing a battered body that bore centuries of strife and warfare. He chuckled, balling up the bloodied shirt before tossing it at Cylie where it fell at her feet. "I promised you an autograph. Victory belonged to Cylie. With one final strike, she'd sealed the duel, knocking the Saiyan off his feet, and into the ground. The momentum of the last punch forced Cylie to roll forward on the pavement before she got to her feet, observing her fallen foe from a few meters away. His fatigued sigh reached the girl's ears, and she stepped forward. To her, it sounded like a sigh that dripped with disappointment. She'd be disappointed too, given how she had presented herself to Barlei initially. She had seemed like one of those clingy, eccentric, annoying fan girls that most celebrities have in their respective fan bases, and Cylie herself considered herself one. However, the quick fight that had just ensued had made a claim like that a dubious one. For a session that was supposed to be a spar, she had shown no mercy. Ferocity, lethality, power, tempo, all the things that made a fight with someone as dangerous as Cylie hard to forget. It had all been on full display here today.
She noted almost all of the different injuries she had managed to inflict within the span of a minute, silently admiring her work before her eyes met the actor's. With a smile, she nodded as Barlei expressed his thoughts about her performance here today, even going as far as to proposing another match between them. Her nod had indicated her agreement. She'd definitely need to check back with him again on another day. It was only fair to him she thought, that he get another chance at besting her in one on one combat. There was only one other thing the man had said that earned him a reaction from the girl. The autograph he promised. It didn't come in the form that Cylie had expected, with Barlei offering her the torn shirt he had worn and all, but the view it provided may be better than any autograph she could've gotten. Her eyes lingered on him for a moment before she reached down to collect her prize. Strangely, she buried her nose in the fabric at once, deeply taking in its dirty, bloody scent in her nostrils. She preserved this moment for as long as she could, before heavily sighing. She looked happy.
"Thank you."
She took a quick glance at her surroundings, before making her reply.
"So... I guess we're done here. I'll be seeing you around, Barlei. Hope you learned something today. Now, we should probably both get outta here."
And so, Cylie rocketed off into the sky, worn shirt in hand and burning red aura taking form. She'd be sure to look for him again.
