One only had to utter one word to get Tobias interested in a quest, and the word was “treasure.” It had only taken that simple utterance to have Tobias jog across the village to find Old Man Flurry, and ask for his assistance. All he needed was the use of the old man’s boat, but Mr. Flurry had reminded him about the shark bandits, which made Tobias commission the help of… Tobias stood at the stern of the small, fishing boat, gazing back at land with his arms crossed before his chest as he wondered if it was a good idea to bring so many Saiyans along. Were the bandits really that bad? First, it had started with Grisha, then Barlei because he was suddenly Grisha’s mentor, and then next Okora decided to come along just because. She probably just wanted to get out of the house. She hadn’t had the chance to see much of the world around her and that was understandable, but the greedy soul that crossed its own arms within Tobias saw them as competition. As long as they kept their monkey paws off the treasure, then they weren’t going to have any problems. They better not complain about being hungry, Tobias thought. They didn’t have much food on the boat besides some sandwiches. Unbeknownst to Tobias, Grisha was already seated upon the side of the boat, munching on a sub sandwich that was three-feet long and loaded with meat, vegetables, and the melted cheese that held everything together. Lena had made all the Saiyans sandwiches using the local meat and crops. The boat was tilted on its right, still managing to putter through the water despite the giant’s weight making it imbalanced. Crumbs and pieces of meat and veg tumbled from his mouth into the water where fish puckered their lips to inhale the pieces. With an excited grin, Grisha exclaimed through a cheek-full of food, “FISH!” A dark shadow then formed a circle beneath him. Grisha’s brows rose curiously until rocketing out of the water, wagging into the air jumped a massive silver fish. The smaller fish had been gathered into its mouth and the edge of its lips knocked the sandwich out of the startled Grisha’s hands, sending it flipping into the air before it clamped down on it. The giant’s back met the deck with a thud that added more bobbing. As water sprinkled down over the boat, Tobias hurried from the stern to the bow, exclaiming, “What the heck happened? Are you guys trynna’ capsize the boat?” When he saw Grisha on his back, he wasn’t surprised. “This isn’t a playground!” When Grisha sat up, the corner of his mouth was cocked in aggression and his irises had disappeared in a gleam of fury. “Fish eat sandwich…Lena make Grisha sandwich…” the Saiyan growled. He rose to his feet and his hands clenched so tightly into fists that the muscles in them creaked. “GRISHA WANT SANDWICH BACK!” The Saiyan raised a foot and stepped onto the wall of the boat. Tobias ran over and grabbed a hold of his waist, trying to prevent him from leaping into the water after the fish. “YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHERE THAT FISH HAS GONE OFF TO! THE SANDWICH IS GONE! LET IT GO!” “GRISHA WANT SANDWICH! GRISHA HUNGRY!” “Well, you shouldn’t have been eating it over the side of the boat!” Tobias reasoned. He then glared at the two other Saiyans. “Help me!” WC: 578 Tagging: @null Okora Clove Jade

The older man's scrawny arms could scarcely fit around the giant's waist. Their commotion caused the small boat to rock and pitch dangerously to one side, allowing salt water to spill over the brim and into the boat.
Barlei sighed.
The shenanigans never ceased with these two. He had better intervene before someone got hurt or the boat capsized altogether, and by someone, he meant the little guy.
"Calm down, tough guys, before you tip the whole goddamn boat over." He rose from his reclining position on the boat's deck and stripped off his shirt and boots, leaving his jeans intact. Barlei strolled over to the two men, giving Grisha a friendly whack on the shoulder. "Don't you worry—no bastard fish steals food from a disciple of mine and gets away with it."
He leaped over the side of the boat with all the grace of a clumsy fool and dove into the ocean. The briny sea water was freezing, but with his trusty goggles he could see clearly beneath the water's surface. There was no sign of the fish, but he did find the soggy sandwich floating in the saltwater ether.
Barlei emerged from the water and dragged himself over the side of the boat. He held up the drenched sandwich for Grisha to bear witness. "No fish and a wet sandwich. This just isn't your morning, big guy."
He handed Grisha the wet sandwich before shaking himself like a mutt, tossing water everywhere.
"Let's get serious for sec. I got some pretty good intel about the place we're headed: it's hidden away and not very easy to find so I believe it might be a similar, high security bunker to the one I was held in myself before I was rescued. And you know what that means, don't ya?"
He met the eyes of his brethren, saying nothing more. They would understand what he meant, but he explained it for the sake of the non-Saiyans that were present.
"There might be trouble."

Okora smiled faintly as Grisha lost his sandwich to a fish. She didn't care what sort of sense of humor anyone possessed: To her, that was hilarious. She continued watching as Barlei managed to retrieve the sandwich from the water and she let out a sigh. Grisha's lunch was ruined. "Don't worry Grisha. I'll try and cook you something once we get back." She said with a large smile as she thought of how much she had learned since she had been thawed out. She had learned quite a bit about how the people on this world acted, and more importantly, she had been learning how to cook. The first few dishes hadn't turned out well and she had been forced to extinguish a few small fires. But as more and more time went by, her cooking had improved quite a bit. The food on this planet was nothing like Planet Vegeta's culinary dishes: The food here was simply amazing. She had been doing her best to help out as best she could around Tobias's home and the village in general. She had done her best to help clean the house daily so the task of cleaning didn't become insurmountable and she had cooked breakfast a few times. Nobody had died from eating her cooking so she counted that as a good thing. Helping out around the village had made her popular with many people. For the first time in quite a while, Okora was happy with who she was and people always seemed happy to see her.
In all honesty, it was a welcome change.
She had already decided that if she were to find the treasure that they were searching for, the majority of her share would go towards Tobias and the rest of the villagers. At the moment she was happy just to be around people who weren't afraid of her, the food that she been introduced to and the life she was living was more than enough reward for her.

While the sun was clouded, the sun was high, there was a point where the clouds were violet hues due to the frigid temperatures of the islands near the south pole, it was excellent lighting for Film Photographer Cabbage. A horse beastman, with a talent to make any film, or photograph the best it was. While he was dressed in a suit and thick sweater, Clove was wearing a designer bikini, basking in the natural light with another model with red eyes, most demons had red or gold eyes, including the Tea Princess’ former disciples who had demon blood in their veins. It allowed the pair to resist the frigid air, as their exposed skin reflected the various colors of the sky while they were posing and being photographed. “That’s a wrap, I have over a thousand photos, so I am going to upload them via satellite below deck.” The horse announced, going down the massive yacht Clove owned, after hiring him to endorse one of her favorite designer’s clothes with a model she also hired to pose with her. The model proceeded to take the helm as he was also hired for the job of taking them back to her personal island after the shoot was over. Along the way, Clove noticed a familiar signature nearby, she instructed the hired helmsman to navigate towards an area she pointed at, the woman could also fly there, but she did not feel like doing so. By the time her yacht reached the fishing boat with Barlei and a few others she never recognized, she managed to watch the shuffle, a fish ate a big Saiyan’s sandwich, while a young woman giggled, and Barlei swam after the sandwich. The whole ordeal was amusing to say the least but best of all she was able to meet a co-star after a long while. “So, is this what you’re doing instead of answering your fans, Barlei-san? Taking an icy dip in the sea for a soggy sandwich.” Clove spoke up, “Tell me, what does a fan girl have to do, to get your autograph? I heard from Director Cabbage that you have a fan base after filming the Kakarot movie and commercial we did together. A mysterious saiyan is now on the limelight, you should be proud of yourself for gaining so much fame, yet you choose to ignore all his calls. It’s a shame really.”Clove raised her sunglasses off her face, placing them at the top of her head, as she looked towards the others. As she leaned over the bulwark of her boat, she waved at them all demurely, and smiled. “Hello there, my name is Clove Tea, it is nice to know Barlei-san has friends after all. Who might you all be?”To the saiyans onboard, they may not have known who Clove was unless they watched tv, apart from her name, the kamon imprinted on the side of the yacht was that of the Tea Clan, which was symbolic to Oolong City, a descendant of Oolong, in the Western Lands. Clove was somewhat famous in the southern islands, she had a reputation as an island owner of popular drink stand known as Frozen Tōrō Tea & Ice, and was famous in other regions. However, she did not expect everyone to recognize her, she never asked anyone to and Barlei knew it.

Well, Jade has been thinking about visiting the Southern Islands for quite some time and the opportunity finally showed itself. But, it was.. with Clove. She had no problem with the Tea Princess, no. But being by her side sent very vivid memories flowing through her head. How could she forget that embarrassment? Although technically.. she couldn't exactly blame Clove for that. So, she decided to forget about it. That happened a long time anyway and people might've forgotten about that.. she hoped.
Unfortunately, Jade couldn't stay in her bikini as she couldn't endure the frigid temperatures like Clove could because she wasn't a demon or of any species that could stay in this type of temperature. She was mostly human, anyway. While Clove was taking pictures, the feline had just woken up from a short nap. It was only a short nap though, which meant that she was already dressed. But, she was wearing a rather thick white sweater over her clothing, a pair of gloves, sunglasses, and some boots to top it off.
To think that two sisters would be so different. It was funny to think about, to be honest. "Thanks again for letting me accompany you, Clove-san." She thanked the long-haired woman. Jade was getting a bit hungry though and although she was sure that Clove had something to eat on this yacht, she decided not to ask.. for now, at least. At this point, the helmsman would head towards the boat filled with Saiyans. Jade couldn't help but giggle when one of the Saiyans, who Clove referred to as Barlei, dived into the cold water, shirtless, to grab the now wet sandwich.
Clove seemed to know this specific Saiyan very well, but on the other hand, it's the first time Jade has ever met these people. "Hello. My name is Jade and I'm a.. friend of Clove-san." She said, before removing the sunglasses from her eyes, as she gave them all a soft smile.

“Language!” Tobias yelled after Barlei as the Saiyan dove into the sea. He had just been trying to stop Grisha from doing something so reckless. What made Barlei think he could do it? When Barlei returned with the sandwich, Tobias wore a slack, incredulous look. “Well I’ll be darned. You actually found the thing.” What Tobias hadn’t expected was for Barlei to actually hand it to Grisha, and then for Grisha to take it! It was so disgusting that his skin started to crawl. The soggy bread was dripping all over the deck and slices of meat were tumbling free. He watched only for a moment, Grisha open his mouth as though to bite into it. On an impulse of disgust, Tobias’s hand swung out and slapped the sandwich, shattering its weakened form into wet fragments that plopped back into the water for the fish to enjoy. Grisha’s jaw dropped as the remains of the sandwich slipped from his hands to the floor. He speechlessly looked at Tobias. “Don’t eat that. We all saw where it’s been. And see, Okora said she’ll make you something when we head back.” Every muscle in Grisha’s face hardened over as he scowled harshly at Tobias in rage. Tobias paled and took a step back from the giant. “There are more sandwiches. Maybe Barlei or Okora will share with you!?” His reasoning didn’t seem to be working. Tobias turned and attempted to make a dash away from Grisha. Grisha snagged him by his shoulder and effortlessly hefted him over his head as though ready to throw him overboard. Tobias had his hands pressed together in prayer when he noticed Grisha had stopped. He blinked his eyes and looked down to see Grisha fixated on something. When he looked to his right, he saw an expensive-looking yacht drifting toward their poor man’s fishing boat. On the boat were either rich folk or models. What were they doing out here? The scantily clad woman knew a bum like Barlei, which just about answered the question. The woman who later identified herself as Clove Tea talked about how Barlei had participated in some movie. “Barlei? A movie star?” Tobias repeated in disbelief. “That freeloader?” Tobias then noticed he was still being held aloft and looked down at Grisha who was staring without shame at Clove’s voluptuous body. Never had he seen a woman in so little clothes. All the women in Kousetsu Village wore layers upon layers of clothing to keep warm. Even when he saw Lena indoors where it was warm, her…well…her chest was not nearly as big as the woman’s he was observing. Tobias reached down and clapped a hand over Grisha’s eyes and whispered between clenched teeth, Grisha, stop staring! It’s rude! The giant lowered Tobias back to the deck. The older man’s face was red in embarrassment. He couldn’t believe how blatant Grisha was. For a normal man, it would have taken some steel balls, but Grisha was no normal man. He was a simpleton. Grisha looked back at Clove, and then raised his hands to his chest, cupping an imaginary bosom. “So big…why Lena no big?” Grisha asked. Miles away back in Kousetsu Village, Lena was cutting a leek when all a sudden she felt the urge to sneeze. Tobias’s face was glowing like a red lightbulb and he sprang at Grisha’s hands, grasping them, and hanging from them in his pathetic attempt to lower them. “Will you stop that!” Grisha was laughing like an immature kid as he playfully raised and lowered Tobias. When he heard a second introduction, the Saiyan’s entertained expression fell in awe when he saw a girl…with cat ears. Or was it a cat that looked like a girl? Grisha dropped Tobias and rushed over to the rail of the boat. “Kitty!” Grisha dunked a hand into the ocean, snatching up one of the fish that had been pecking at the sandwich matter. He held the fish out to Jade and called, “Pss! Pss! Pss! Nyao, nyao!” WC: 670 Total: 2,828 Tagging: @null Okora Clove Jade

Okora sympathized with Grisha's loss. A light smile graced her features; she found the entire interaction amusing. She promised him she would prepare him a meal once they got back to Kousetsu Village after their journey. Barlei grinned. It was good to see Okora come out of her shell more and more with each passing day. She had suffered quite a traumatic experience akin to his own, but at least when both of them were soldiers in King Vegeta's army, his service had been a choice. Okora had been forced to fight. The Saiyan woman was still a mystery he hoped to solve. She wouldn't be the grandest mystery this day. A huge yacht overtook their small boat. It was dozens of feet long, casting a tall shadow over their shaggy vessel. Barlei arched an eyebrow, arms folded as he stared up at the yacht. These waters were sparsely populated; a fancy-looking boat like that one felt out of place in a frigid locale like this. Whoever it was, he was more than happy to inform them to take a hike. He stepped to the side of the boat, preparing to do just that. Until he saw the woman leaning over the protective railing of the helm. The lyrical lilt of her demure tone reached his ears as the woman waved her greeting at him. Barlei's eyes widened, jaw dropping slack as he peered closely at her. "No way..." His eyes weren't deceiving him. He hadn't seen Clove Tea in weeks, ever since the pair of them shot that commercial for the World Martial Arts Tournament. Here she was, in the flesh—quite literally. He knew she was an attractive demon lady, but her bikini left little to the imagination. He turned away, blushing furiously. "How the hell did she find me? Thought I ditched her..." Clove granted him no mercy, immediately questioning his actions after the pair of them parted from the last job they worked together. She cited that he had been ignoring all of his fan base ever since he went viral from her commercial; he'd even been ignoring all subsequent calls from Director Cabbage who no doubt wanted to put him in another film or advertisement. His blush deepened when she claimed to be a fan girl who also wanted his autograph. Barlei wasn't accustomed to all of the attention. Frankly, it scared him. He'd been a nobody his entire life—just a nameless spear to be aimed at his king's enemies. He was fine with that. All this fame was more than he could handle. "I wasn't—" He frowned, staring down at the choppy waters, rubbing the back of his head. It was clear he had been caught. "I didn't mean to ditch you guys. I'm... sorry, or whatever."She introduced herself to the others, citing her own surprise that he had friends of his own. He frowned at her. It was true he came across as a lone wolf who hated the company of others, but she didn't have to point it out. "What? You think I don't have any friends? Well, you're wrong. I have plenty friends—everyone in this boat, for starters." He turned to the others. "This is Clove, or as I've come to know her, a huge thorn in my backside." He glanced back up at Clove. "I acted my heart out for this lady, and who gets the entry to the world tournament? The lady with the fancy tea." He huffed. "I can't say I'm not happy to see you. We might actually need your help with something." He hadn't noticed before, but someone else was traveling on Clove's yacht. She looked young with long pink hair, cat ears, and a sensuous tail. She was a friend of Clove's, greeting everyone on the boat below. Barlei could sense a bit of her power. She was strong—about as strong as he was. "What the hell, Clove? Is everyone you know stronger than me?" He could hear Tiger Lily in his mind; she would chide him for his poor manners. "Uh... hi, Jade. Nice to meet you. You look strong, so we can use you too." It wasn't that he didn't trust his own abilities, nor the abilities of Grisha and Okora. Even old man Tobias had some fight in him. But they were headed into a dangerous situation. The more, the merrier, in his estimation. A commotion snapped him from his reverie. Grisha, only moments from chucking Tobias into the water, had noticed Clove and Jade calling out to them. He seemed rather taken by Clove's appearance, as would anyone be. She was one smoking hot demon lady, in Barlei's estimation, but Tobias was right—Grisha was still a bit too rough around the edges. Grisha's reaction to Jade was even more abnormal. He snatched a fish from the water and sought to coax the girl over into their boat, perhaps to play with her. This little diversion was getting out of hand. "Whoa, big guy! Hold up." Barlei joined Grisha's near the side of the boat. "Look—there's a little thing called manners. These Earthlings are sticklers for it. I don't care if you wanna drool on one and chuck fish at the other, but save it for after we're done, alright? Sheesh." He snuck another little glance at Clove himself. How exactly had she managed to hide a body like that when they worked together? "Besides, their timing couldn't be any more perfect. I think they can give us a hand." There was an unlikely gathering of people there. Maybe, just maybe, it would be enough. "Listen up, people. Fun as this little reunion is, we've got work to do. There's a whole bunker full of Saiyans being treated like test subjects somewhere on that island." He raised a hand, pointing off to the mass of land looming in the distance. "Once we get there, everyone needs to be on guard. In my experience, Tuffles aren't very tough, but they're sneaky bastards. If any of us gets separated, it'll be bad news for all of us. There are no reinforcements—we're their only hope." It felt good to take charge, as if he'd temporarily assumed the role of platoon leader again. Except this was a bunch of misfits, not a highly trained and efficient unit. "Let's go get these bastards and rescue some people while we're at it."
The rocky shore of the beach was littered with broken seashells. Course, brown sand stretched as far as the eye could see. It was warm and squishy beneath his bare feet as Barlei led the group away from the shore. A tall, dense jungle loomed ahead of them—it was filled with all manner of noises, some of which sounded big, angry, or hungry. The air took on a humid quality as well, far warmer than the icy shores near Kousetsu Village. Was this the right place? It was quiet—too quiet. It could be a trap. "Alright, people. Let's keep our eyes peeled out here—"Something whizzed past his head. A battle cry raised as a multitude of men garbed in silver uniforms, high-tech visors, and energy rifles rushed out of the tree line at them. They fired their weapons indiscriminately, sending a volley of energy bullets hurtling at the new arrivals. Barlei dove for the sand, landing hard on his belly as more whizzed over his head. An attack? Had they known he was coming? Impossible! Unless his contact had betrayed him. "Everybody, scatter! If we stay in a group, we're toast! Kick these guys' asses and make for the bunker, and we will regroup there!" He hoped they could hear him over the din of noise. His training kicked into high gear as he launched himself at the nearest soldier with a growl, slamming his fist into the side of the soldier's helmet. The Tuffle soldier crumpled like paper to the ground at Barlei's feet. A smirk tugged at his lips. "These guys aren't so tough."[1,340 of 1,675] words [4,167 of 14,000] words total

“Hello there, my name is Clove Tea, it is nice to know Barlei-san has friends after all. Who might you all be?”
Okora smiled and was about to introduce herself to the newcomers when she noticed that Grisha was staring at the women's lack of layers. Okora's face turned bright red as she slowly turned to look at Grisha and steam slowly began to escape from her ears until she managed to calm down after a few moments. "Grisha..." She said in a somewhat sweet voice filled with cold steel. "It might be a good idea to STOP STARING at the nice new people. If you don't stop staring at them all the sandwiches we currently have for our trip might accidentally end up being thrown overboard." She looked over at Tobias and Barlei and then back at Grisha. "It's a pleasure to meet you. My name is Okora." She turned to look back at Barlei and raised an eyebrow. "I didn't know that you were a movie star by the way." She said with a faint smile.
"Listen up, people. Fun as this little reunion is, we've got work to do. There's a whole bunker full of Saiyans being treated like test subjects somewhere on that island."
Okora looked up sharply at Barlei's words about the Saiyans being used as test subjects. She narrowed her eyes after a moment. She wasn't against rescuing their fellow Saiyans but she was worried about encountering them truth be told. She was worried that she would be killed on sight if any of them had been sent after her after her escape from Planet Vegeta. More specifically, she was terrified of encountering one Saiyan in particular. If they found her during the rescue attempt it would be a good idea for her to run all the way back to the village and never look back.
A long time ago
Okora looked up miserably as Tabaga laughed and extended her hand down towards her to help her up. Okora ignored the offered hand and rose to her feet on her own. She counted Tabaga as a friend but when they sparred, the other Saiyan held nothing back. Okora didn't even like sparring with her but whoever had the controller for the device on her tail was the one who made the rules.
"You still can't lay a hand on me!" Tabaga said with a laugh. Okora sighed heavily. "No. I can't and honestly I'd rather save my strength for when I'm forced to fight the enemies of Planet Vegeta." She lied. She would rather not fight at all to be honest but she didn't have a choice and she knew it. Tabaga smiled and clapped her on the shoulder. "That's the spirit!" The other Saiyan said with a large smile. She was either ignoring the borderline treasonous words or had not caught them.
"Let's go one more time. If you can can hit me, I'll buy you dinner." Okora sighed heavily and dropped into a fighting stance.
Let the fighting commence...
Okora was so caught up in her memories she didn't notice that they were approaching the island where the Saiyans were being held captive. She snapped back to reality as Barlei hit the beach and men in silver armor and visors and energy rifles began pouring out of the jungle and began firing at them. Okora froze for a single moment before launching herself at the beach and rushing towards the armored men. She was using non-lethal strikes and energy blasts directed at the rifles to try and minimize the casualties among the enemy troops. Word count: 610 Tagging: Grisha@null@clove@jade

Despite Jade having been severely injured from the West City Women’s World Martial Arts Tournament, the pinkette made a swift recovery, but ultimately had been taking a break from fighting in order to travel. It seemed a yacht ride to the South Pole was not a bad way to explore the world, being half human prevented her from adjusting to the climate, so she was taking a nap in her quarters instead, until she decided to come up on deck after detecting significant ki signatures. The minutes that took place followed by her introduction was a series of questions from the largest saiyan in the group. It seemed he had not seen many women in his lifetime, he was curious why Clove looked different from someone he referred to as Lena, and when he saw Jade he figured she was a cat despite having a woman’s body. “Ara ara, flowers come in different shapes, sizes, and colors. Do not compare them for they are all naturally beautiful like all females.” Clove grinned, “If you’re curious where I got my body well, my mother was quite the demoness, and Jade is a feline but not a wild or domesticated animal. We are both part beastman as well and should be treated with respect like most earthlings. Cat calling Jade is rude and disrespectful.”It was up to Okora to reveal the big saiyan’s name when she scolded him and then politely introduced her own name. Clove smiled and offered a wave in response, until she was amused by the pair of saiyans on the fishing boat correcting Grisha’s behavior at the same time, it seemed he needed to be advised in having proper manners by his close friends. Barlei passed along a sorry excuse for an apology, if he was paying attention to her expression at all, she lowered her gaze completely unfazed, and her brow arched at the mention of acquiring her help. First of all, they were both co-stars, this sounded more like they were moving on towards friendship, which was a huge step in a different direction from just business as usual. “What’s that?” Clove teased, “You will give me your autograph if I help you bust a tuffle bunker, Barlei-san? Sure.”
Of course the situation was a serious one, if she was faced with adversity, but someone with her power was unafraid in this type of situation; primarily because Jade was also present and was just as strong as her last partner Will O’ Wisp. Another reason she was dauntless would be that she did not have to hold back, she did not have a chance to change into her battle armor, so she transformed instead.
The aura that surrounded her form was set on fire, she was descendant from a serpent demon and a pig demon, and crimson red butterflies began to surround her hair, which was loosed up from the pony tail. The appearance of Clove was entirely different from before, not even Jade knew she had been transformed this entire time, the giant red wings from her giant form was beginning to make sense now that she took on her demoness appearance. Upon arrival, Clove leaped out of her yacht, hovering above the sand with her bare feet on fire, she was wearing a designer cheongsam style dress from the eastern lands, with long bell sleeves and obi belt sashes. Several bullets were fired, the butterflies fluttered to catch each one aimed at Clove, she wielded a red nodachi and focused her ki to launch several ki blades, which were fired like crimson crescent moons at their attackers. “You got my back, Jade-chan?” Clove called out, “Let’s move in.”[612] [5,389/14,000] Okora Grisha @null Jade

The boob lady talked about flowers and told him not to compare them to females because they were all beautiful (Grisha’s understanding). She then told him he was being rude and disrespectful. Grisha blinked and dropped the fish back into the water. A red hue warmed his cheeks as he straightened and bowed his head like a scolded kid before apologizing, “Sorry…” Grisha heard his name next and he turned his head to regard Okora. Her voice was gentle but did not conceal the dagger well. The Saiyan became tense when she raised her voice. First, Tobias, then, Boob Lady, and now, her. When she threatened the sandwiches, his mouth fell open and he turned to completely face her. A sheepish grin cracked on Grisha’s face as he brought his hands together, interlacing his fingers. He held his clutched hands up in a plea and apologized, “No; Grisha sorry. No look.” The fourth scolding came from Barlei. Grisha strained to maintain his grin. His right brow twitched as Barlei made several metaphors that went over his head. Regardless what he said, from Barlei’s tone, Grisha knew he was being scolded, and hopefully, a final time. He scratched the back of his head and simply said, “Sorry.” Grisha’s grin then dropped into a bull dog-like frown when he noticed—as discreet as it was—Barlei ogle Clove. His dark brows crashed together as he wondered why Barlei had told him not to look at her, and then he went and did it! He had just been yelled at for doing that! He didn’t dwell on it long before his brother rallied everyone’s undivided attention. He announced the mission, and Grisha listened harder than anyone else. What the heck was a bunker? Tobias felt like Lena. He just watched Grisha and could decipher from his intense contemplative expression that he had no idea what Barlei had gotten them all into. “What?! I thought this was a treasure hunt. Nobody said anything about a rescue!” Tobias exclaimed. Grisha perked and looked at Tobias. “Treasure?” Tobias narrowed his eyes at Grisha. Did he not know that this was supposed to be a treasure hunt the entire time? “Grisha…why are you even here?” Grisha happily grinned and replied, “Sandwiches!” Tobias winced as though someone had raked their claws across his brain. Stupid; stupid; stupid! He took a moment to calm his nerves before he popped a blood vessel. He still defended. “We might have come here for different reasons but no one said anything about an island and…whatever Tuffles are!” “Tuffle…Truffle…Food?” Grisha wondered aloud. “And you want us to fight them? Since when did we sign up for a war?” Tobias’s protests didn’t seem to sway the others from dropping anchor at the island. The older man watched with crossed arms and a frown, Barlei gather his forces. Before Grisha could go, Tobias lightly slapped his arm with the back of his hand. The giant peered down at him. “You’re gonna have to go without me on this one. I’ll just get in the way, but me and Mr. Flurry will watch the boat while you’re gone. There may or may not be treasure on the island, but if you see anything shiny, bring it here, got it?” Tobias ordered. “Shiny…Grisha like shiny,” he said with a grin before he turned and vaulted over the side of the boat into the shallow water. Tobias rushed to the boat side, grasped the rail, and yelled at him, “What does that mean? You better not keep anything from me. I’ll check!” Grisha gave a thumb up back to Tobias. “You better not get yourself killed either. Lena will never forgive me!” Grisha whirled to stare wide-eyed at Tobias. “Grisha die?” Tobias’s face flashed red as he irritably screamed, “You’re going to war! Have you not been listening?” Both Tobias and Grisha fell silent as they watched Clove transform into a fiery-haired goddess—at least that was what Tobias thought. He had never seen anything like it. She had definitely been pretty enough to be one. Both of them were staring at that point as she hovered above the sea water on slippers of flame. Pew! Fizz! Tobias’s and Grisha’s eyes shifted to a smoking hole that appeared in the side of the boat. When Tobias realized what it had been, his face paled as a frightened gasp left his lips. The man took cover behind the boat’s wall and peered through the bullet hole at Grisha who was just standing there. What the hell was he doing? Tobias carefully peeked back over the wall and called, “Grisha!” The giant’s dark-grey orbs had a thousand-yard stare as he watched soldiers in silver uniforms emerge from the jungle. Bright energy rounds were whizzing and frying the air and water at his feet. Some shots caused small geysers to rise at the Saiyan’s feet accompanied by steam. In that moment, Grisha didn’t hear anything. He saw them storming the beach as though time had slowed down. He focused on their uniforms, scrutinizing closely every detail. He had seen something like that before. But where? Why were they familiar? An overwhelming emotion took hold of him. It was a rage unlike anything he had ever felt. The blades of Grisha’s dark hair splayed like the hackles of a beast as his tail unraveled from his waist and started to anxiously whip. His every muscle went rigid. His hands quaked with the adrenaline he felt surging through his veins. It was so terrible that he found himself struggling to breathe. He hated them. He wanted them to die. Die. Kill them all. Tears welled in Grisha’s eyes. His thoughts horrified him. Why would he think such things? Who were they? What was this bloodlust? It wasn’t him! He started to tremble. In that moment, Tobias climbed onto the wall of the boat and sprang from it at Grisha. He latched onto the Saiyan’s shoulders, and it was only because he had caught Grisha off-guard that he was able to bring the behemoth to the ground. They collapsed in the water, and as soon as Grisha had fallen he started to scream in panic. Tobias wrapped his arms about Grisha’s head and leaned back, using all of his strength to keep it out of the water. “Damn your fits!” Tobias roared. Grisha clawed, kicked, and flailed on his side. His tail slapped and whipped the water as tears were streaming from his shrunk and hysterical eyes as he continued to wail. I think you will like this. I designed this stun rod specifically for Saiyans when they act out of line. For you though, I think I’ll need it to be on its highest setting.A residual memory happened before Grisha’s eyes like a vivid dream. A stun rod struck his stomach, and the giant started to convulse. Tobias was stuck. He and Grisha were trapped in the open. Everyone was engrossed in fighting and Tobias was trying not to get shot, or have Grisha get shot, but his episode triggered out of nowhere (or so he thought). It was horrible timing. “Damn your fits!”Okora quickly whirled around after hearing Tobias shout out in what sounded like rage. What she saw both confused and brought her to a slight panic. Grisha was having some sort of attack. He seemed to be panicking almost and Tobias was on his back. While this was happening a pair of the solders emerging from the jungle took aim at the flailing Grisha and another took aim at Tobias but was having trouble getting a clear shot. Okora looked back at Tobias and the solders. They were too far away for her to close the distance between the two of them before they fired but she was still relatively close to Grisha and Tobias. "Grisha! Tobias" She shouted in fear and utter panic as the solders began to pull the trigger and Okora launched herself not at the solders but at the struggling Saiyan and the human on his back. A moment later, she felt a series of energy blasts slam directly into her back as she covered Grisha and Tobias as best as she could. Her eyes widened in pain as she felt sharp pains run through her body. She looked down at Grisha and Tobias and smiled sadly as more and more blasts struck her back and she began to slump towards the ground. "G-Grisha...please...don't let...them win...Tobias, don't...don't be mad at...Grisha. It's...It's okay...he's scared..." She whispered hoarsely as she hit the ground. I don't want to die...I don't want to die...I don't want them to die. They took me in...I don't want Grisha to die. I don't want Barlei to die...I don't want Tobias to die...I don't want Lena to be sad...Tabaga...I wonder what happened to you...I wonder if you are out there somewhere...I wonder...if I lived a good life...Word Count: 322 Tagging Grisha @null Jade Melody

Jade hasn't had many opportunities to interact with Saiyans, so she didn't know how they acted around others. Well, yes, Koma was a Saiyan, but.. he was different. At least, in her opinion. The Saiyan who they referred to as Grisha was trying to.. get her attention with a fish? What? Although technically, Jade.. was a cat and of the feline species, it was just.. weird. She was a woman. A human being.. more of a hybrid. The feline shrieked and took a few steps back, hiding behind Clove. Not that she was afraid or anything of that sort.
She was just.. a little bit surprised that someone would do that. But, Clove took care of the situation. She saw where the towering Saiyan was looking at first, which made her raise a brow in confusion. The comment that Grisha made about Clove's.. mammaries.. was rather disturbing and made her feel somewhat awkward. But, both problems were dealt with, thankfully. At this point, the Saiyan, who Jade could only describe as primitive, would apologize and things would go back to, well.. normal. "Wow, these are Clove's friends? Man, I.. Juniper and Clove are.. so.. different. The outgoing type." She said, in a low tone of voice. Barlei acknowledged the feline and complimented her about the power she possessed. To be honest, Jade was.. slacking off on training. She hasn't trained for, well.. almost a year. It was odd. The girl that was enthusiastic in fighting and becoming stronger to see how high she could go became.. this? Even Clove seemed to have grown a lot stronger than when they last fought and Jade, on the other hand, hasn't improved much. "Huh? Oh, I guess I have to fight then. Hm, it's been a while." Indeed, it has.
Maybe she might ask Clove for some assistance with getting back in fighting shape, or something. Who knows? Although that would probably give her some flashbacks, it would be worth it. It's not like Jade hasn't gotten over it.. right? As the group exchanged their final words, Clove began to transform into what Jade could only assume to be her giant or demon form. It reminded her of Hachiko, which brought back memories of the Devil's Cookbook Gang.
Upon arriving at the island, Jade began to reminisce on the times where she used to fight people with guns and also the fact that she always got injured. "Yeah. I got your back. To be honest, I haven't been training recently, so.. I might be vulnerable." She admitted, before flaring up her jade green aura, releasing the power she was suppressing.

The sound of a ticking clock began to slow down, as Clove’s black scleara and red irises assessed the situation, the gun fire from the Tuffles triggered the massive Saiyan on the boat, the old man jumped on his back to calm him, and the saiyan woman who called herself Okora took the hail of energy blasts from the soldiers to protect them both. Seconds later all three of them fell overboard into the sea. Barlei was nowhere in her peripheral vision, the heavy metal doors to the underground bunker were closed shut, and the soldiers continued to fire at them. Jade turned the bullets to dust as her green aura flared up to nearly half the demoness’ power level, there was a few seconds left for her to make the next crucial plan of assault, and she knew very well how Tuffles think after encountering just a team of three at an illegal tournament.
Tuffles were highly intelligent, their plan of action was at least twenty steps ahead, with technology that could take down a person of her caliber. Technology that was highly advanced for earth, while half the saiyans in Clove’s team were indisposed, Barlei missing from the action, she had to make due with Jade taking out the Tuffles on the beach. Perhaps her co-star was taken to the bunker, the metal alloy of the door was unmistakable as spirit ore, a special ore that could resist ki blasts after it absorbed the ki from tree roots of saplings of might for years. Clove could not read the ki signatures of how many enemies she were to face with as long as those doors were shut, Barlei was possibly shut inside as a captive, making the odds worse for the Tea Princess.
With the red six foot nodachi blade she sliced up the hands off from the Tuffles on the beach, coating the white sand in blood in her wake, she flew past them over their heads to wedge the blade of her sword between the doors to force them open with all her might, and they flew wide open. A bright white light nearly blinded her, she detected the ki signatures of everyone inside the bunker briefly, and now that number was zero. When she looked over to the Tuffles she severed the hands off, they were wearing a special bracelet, that completely phased out their bodies until they disappeared from her natural senses to detect ki.
Will O’ Wisp had told Clove a past experience of a Pirate Tuffle named Captain Jewel of Opar after they lost to team Citrus in the illegal tournament, the captain used technology to teleport herself from being captured which rendered her ki signature untraceable, and the android among them managed to capture her visage for that bounty. It must have been the same technology the tuffles used to teleport everyone out the bunker, as she turned to look around before entering, she could hear a faint countdown by an AI inside which said 7 then 6, it must have been a self destruct sequence, this race of people were known to be flashy.
“Watch out! It’s about to explode! Jade-san!” Clove took flight, assuming the pinkette would do the same, and watched the fishing boat get blasted away from the pressure like a stone skipping across the water. The yacht which was three times bigger than the fishing ship, it was anchored well at the bottom of the sea, the Tea Princess grabbed the hull of her luxury boat to prevent it from meeting the same fate, and the black tinted windows burst into tiny black cubes of safety glass.
Once the blast subsided, Clove dove deep into the water, a massive bubble surrounded her adding hot air to increase its size like a hot balloon preventing her from getting wet nor her demonic flames from being extinguished. Grisha, Okora, and the old fisherman were absorbed into the bubble of air. The four of them returned to the surface and were now on the deck of her yacht.
“We lost Barlei-san, those Tuffles teleported off the island, and the bunker exploded.” Clove pulled a first aid-kit from the bridge, she opened it, and pulled out a stim pack, “Okara-san, your injuries, take this.”
As she waited for saiyan woman to take the medicine, she looked over to Grisha who was suffering from some kind of internal injury in that mountain of muscles, and she checked on the condition of Tobias who was bruised in certain places.
“Ojiisan, are you alright? Did you really think you were going to be able to tame this brute? You took quite the fall out into the sea, I was certain you would drown, do you still need CPR?” Clove chuckled as the last statement was a joke to lighten the mood. Sand. Everywhere. Right up his rear end, too. He could taste the grit in his mouth and feel it stinging his eyes. His hair was stiff, matted with grime. The cool wash of saltwater lapping at his feet and ankles where they lay partly submerged. Sound, for the most part, was muffled due to the ridiculous explosion that enveloped him the moment he attempted to breach the bunker. He felt like a hot potato that had slipped its skewer and fallen into the roasting fire. A low grunt escaped him, followed by a loud swear as he pushed himself up to his hands and knees, gasping for breath. This mission was a disaster—an absolute shit show. He thought with his ragtag group of warriors that breaching the bunker, disabling the incumbent forces, and rescuing his people would be a piece of cake, especially since they wouldn't see the assault coming. Eight hundred years was a long time—he'd lost some of his warrior's instinct. Barlei used to be able to smell a trap coming from light years away, yet in his desperation to rescue those who were trapped, he led his... friends... right into a Tuffle ambush. Where the hell had that explosion come from? Was everyone else okay? What about the bunker, or more importantly, the people still inside of it? So many questions, and he had no answers. It wasn't in his nature to give up. Screw up or not, he had people to look after. Barlei struggled to his feet, letting out a breath. He blinked against the bright sunlight, his eyes beginning to adjust as his hearing returned. They appeared to be on a sandbar, out in the midst of the ocean. No sign of a bunker nor even the rising tale-tell column of smoke and debris. It was as if they had been transported somewhere else altogether. He heard a soft noise to his left. Something—or someone—was laying in the sand. He stumbled his way over the sand, following the noise. Was there a survivor? That meant he wasn't the only one. Was it someone who was injured? Or was it yet another trap? Trap or not, he wasn't going to just abandon someone. Not again—not like all those centuries ago. He spied a small girl with crimson hair lying half buried in the sand. A soft whimpering noise came from her, and at the sight of Barlei, tears welled in her fuchsia colored eyes. Another figure lay unconscious beside her, yet he didn't take time to study the woman. They were injured and needed help. He had no way of contacting the others. How was he supposed to save these two, or better yet, himself? The idea struck him out of nowhere—a long buried memory struggled to the forefront of his mind. In times past, when soldiers got separated from his platoon, they were often found using the signal transmitted from their scouters. Since his time on Earth and learning all about ki and how it functioned, there were those who could decrease or increase their power level at will. If he increased his high enough, maybe Grisha or one of the others could sense him. It was his best shot. Barlei slid his feet shoulder-length apart, upper body hunched as his fists clenched at his side. The ground shook and trembled around him as the pressure of his inner spirit rose higher and higher, higher than he'd dared to push it since his rescue from the Tuffle bunker. His black aura flared to life around him, rising high into the air like a column of searing flame. "C'mon! Somebody find me! Don't leave me in this place to die!" It'd be just his luck if this was the way he met his untimely end. Gods be damned and the bastards that marooned him there. [646] words [2,321] word total [8,789] mission total

Honestly, the feline thought that she would be going on a relaxing cruise on Clove's yacht, but instead, she found herself fighting these.. people. Tuffles, were they? They looked human to her. The first thing that came to mind before charging at these technologically advanced foes was to create a barrier. She coated herself in a protective layer of jade green ki, hoping that it would not let her sustain any serious injuries. This.. became more of a habit. The tuffles began to fire at the group, but Jade managed to deal with that problem well. Her reflexes will always remain sharp, but her aura made everything easier. The bullets that were fired at Jade turned into dust, as it tried to penetrate through Jade's aura.
Not long after, she would dash towards the group of Tuffles, disarming them of their weapons and hitting them in the back of their heads. Not to severely injure or kill them, but just to knock them out for.. more than an hour. Unlike the Saiyans, Jade didn't have a reason to kill these people. But.. when decided to slice off the Tuffles arm, Jade simply looked away. She remembered Juniper having a different personality when she changed into Hachiko. Is the same for Clove? Would she injure someone that bad in her human form? After she took care of them, she would then be met with an outburst from Clove. "What?!" The bunker was about to explode. Jade would immediately take flight, her aura bursting to life as she barely got out of the explosion radius.
Jade was out of words. She could only watch as the blast subsided. Everyone would make their way over to the yacht. Well, except for one. Clove believed that Barlei was teleported off the island with the Tuffle bunker. That could be anywhere. But, Jade, although she didn't know this man, decided to try and find him. He was a friend of Clove after all. "Hey Clove, excuse me for a bit." Not wasting even a second, her jade green aura came to life once more, as she shot up in the sky, trying to sense any nearby ki signatures. But, there was none. Everything. Everyone. They were all gone. A frown became visible on her face, as she let out a heavy sigh. "That's.. unfortunate." As she began to descend, she would feel a sudden spike in power. It was a bit faint but strong enough for her to sense it.
It felt.. familiar. She didn't know if the others sensed it, but this was her cue. "Could that be.." Without informing the others, she flew off into the distance as fast as she possibly could in the direction of the ki that was rising. As she got closer, she could feel two other ki signatures, which seemed to be fading the more she got closer. A black aura became visible on an island, which seemed to be the source of all the power. Jade quickly flew over to Saiyan, who was accompanied by two injured individuals. "Oh, Barlei! You're safe! Are you injured? Let me heal you, if you've sustained any injuries." She said. Even if he refused or not, she would peer over to the unconscious little girl. "Oh no! Is she ok?" By the looks of it, she wasn't.
"H-Hey, stay with us, you'll be fine. Just give me a few moments." She would coat her palms with her jade green ki, before resting them both on the child. Jade had the power to heal herself and others, much like Clove's sister, Juniper. The crimson-haired girl would begin to feel signs of her energy returning to her body, enough for her to move. "I.. I used too much energy during an encounter with some people, so I'm afraid I would be able to fully heal you. But, you should be able to move and have about half of your strength back." She said, with a slight smile visible on her features.
She would then walk over to the woman, who was also in bad shape and performed the same procedure. "There you go." Now, the question was.. who were these people? Were they saiyans like the others she met on the boat?
