EP to Zeni Conversion Error

Hey everyone! As you might've seen on discord, I realized that the "current" ratio of converting EP to Zeni completely screws up the intended item progression system-- essentially allowing someone to have a full mythic build with far less effort than otherwise intended. We've corrected the system to what we feel is a more accurate ratio of 1 EP = 25 Zeni.

Now, because this was our mistake, we're not going to take away any of the shiny toys that you might have bought-- but we are going to offer up two options to everyone who's utilized the 1:100 conversion rate.

As of this thread, you may:

1. Refund any items you bought with Zeni earned through EP conversions and then refund that same Zeni to re-spend your EP as you see fit.

OR

2. Keep zeni/items you currently have from the old EP conversions and instead enter an "EP Debt" equal to 3 times the amount of EP you converted to Zeni. This would mean that if you spent 1000 EP on Zeni, your next 3000 EP would be consumed by the "debt" and treated as though it had been converted to Zeni under the new ratios. 


As an apology for the hassle that this has made, we're offering 500 EP to every character currently approved as of the date of this announcement(September 19, 2019.) Link to this thread in your logs to indicate where the bonus EP has come from.

Can we wait until after we are done with our current thread with the item we bought with that Zeni to rebuy with the refund EP + the EP we gained from the thread?

As always, anything you had when going into a thread will remain until the end of that thread. So if you choose to refund your item back into EP, do the math now, but it will not vanish mid-thread.

If you choose to keep your item, then again, do your "Debt" math now, and you can use the EP you're about to gain to start paying off your debts once you get it.

Either way, nothing changes in the threads you are currently in.
