The treehouse was outside theme park grounds, Tiger Lily was flying across the sky carrying Lilith Nevermore on her back, piggy back style this time, and the ocean was in full view beyond a treeline in the horizon. At close proximity was a sapling of strength, the very tree that the house was built around, using its strong spiritual infused branches to keep the house structure upright. It was a real house inside, with four bedrooms each with their own bath on the second floor, and a open concept living room with kitchenette, and an entire wooden porch that wrapped around the entire house; which was nearly up to the canopy of trees so it was not entirely visible from view apart from the flowing ki signature from the sapling of might. On the forest ground was a small bird raptor pen in a special large cage, which was being attended to by a white hovering robot, and a vegetable patch directly across from it which was being watered by a different robot on muddy track wheels. “This is basically my third home, it saves zeni to have your own place, instead of staying at the expensive hotels in Pilaf Land. I actually have a spare room in the house, I was going to offer it to my friend Konja, but she mainly stays in the southern islands. Are you interested in taking the room for yourself? I have a special capsule case so I can order furniture for it after we settle in.” Ty landed on the balcony, lowering herself on her knees so that Lilith could safely stand on her own, a key fob embedded on her wrist bracelet unlocked the front wooden door with a stained glass window, and opened it to the circular living room with circular sofa facing the trunk of the tree which ran up through the house, and it was plainly decorated apart from the photographs stuck to the walls. “This is the living room, the bedrooms are upstairs, would you like something to drink Lady Nevermore?” Ty walked over to the kitchenette, there was a mini fridge full of assorted drinks to pick from, most of them were carbonated drinks that Cayle and Achido enjoyed, there was water, juice, and tea which were her own personal favorites. Blank. Empty. Hollow. Those three words could sum up Lilith’s expression and mind at the same time. When Miss Lily had originally offered a piggyback ride, the young noble had taken it as a tasteless joke. It wasn’t. Before she knew it, she found herself hoisted on the taller girl’s back like a child. Or a particularly grumpy backpack. The last thing she recalled after that was the sound of something shattering... Her dignity, most likely. At some point during the humiliating journey the embarrassment overflowed and her brain simply shut down. The other option was facing the reality and she wanted none of that. Only the sight of a rather strange tree managed to snap the shaken lady out of her stupor. She swept her gaze over the odd apartment, hiding her honest curiosity behind the icy mask. It was quite impressive... Especially compared to the mushroom she currently had to call home. The metal servants, however, were met with pure, unadulterated disdain. Tch, machines... She had never understood the fascination. There was nothing they could do that magic didn’t accomplish more efficiently. Her cousin Tekne might have disagreed, but that strange girl had always been the black sheep of the family. Combining magic and technology... Bah, humbug! Upon landing, Lilith quickly distanced herself from the overly friendly girl. She needed some space. And time to compose herself. Of course, she still paid some intention to the chatter. Her eyes widened at the nonchalant mention. “Third... home...?” How could a mere peasantown so much property? Was she actually a noble, no, an unruly princess of sorts? It would’ve explained a lot... The offer for a room of her own tempted her like a succubus whispering into her ear, but she quickly shook her head. “No, I would rather not. I have my own...” She hesitated. “...home.” Just saying the word stabbed somewhere deep, into place she could’ve sworn died or at least froze a long time ago. Tch, no matter. The frigid guest wandered around a little, inspecting the portraits and scoffing at the lacking decoration. How... frugal. Fortunately, the red-headed girl’s timing was impeccable. The witch was feeling rather parched after screaming her lungs out at the park. A fleeting smile visited her otherwise icy features. “Ah, how kind of you to offer. I would like some mandrake tea, please.” ...Well, at least one of them was in for a culture shock or few today. Words: 407 | 407 Natural PL at start: 12,251 Tags: Ty

“Well, if you’re traveling to different regions, you should have more than one place to stay in case you need to stay overnight.” Ty tilted her head as she looked back, “You’re free to use the spare room for today for some rest and relaxation after that monkey boy incident. It will help you determine if it suits your needs. The experience may help you figure out what is best for when you do expand your personal housing.”
The mention of mandrake tea knitted her brows together, she never heard of such tea, and she was a constant tea drinker but it sounded like a root based ingredient from the name alone. Browsing through a silver case with the capsule corp logo, no results were found when she searched for the ingredient, and she closed the case to slide it back into her pocket to look in the refrigerator for an alternative. “I have ginger iced tea with lemon and honey fusion for now. Meanwhile, I can go look for this mandrake, and boil it into tea. How about it?”
Ty walked over to the petite teenage witch with the ice cold ginger tea handing it over for her to take. After she took it, she pulled out her flip c-phone to pull up the gps, and lowered it for Lilith to look at the screen of the world map.
“Where can I find this mandrake root? I can go fetch it while you take a bubble bath or if you choose to take nap.” Ty dug into her pocket to hand over a capsule corp case, “I have the latest catalogue of Capsule corp items you will need to settle in, just use the touch screen inside the case to browse the items, when you’re ready to check out, the items will materialize on the labeled capsules on the opposite side via satellite link, you click the top of each capsule and toss it on the ground. The items will appear in a puff of smoke instantly. You can also order food if you want. The only limit is the number of capsules, there are ten of the small capsules, and two large capsules for bigger items. You will see when you browse through the catalogue.”
With a widening grin she waited for Lilith to point in the direction of the mandrake, hoping she would be able to recognize it if she saw it, and was planning to search for images of it on the internet to be certain of foraging the correct ingredient. [424] [809] Lilith Nevermore

Something about the red-headed girl rubbed the pale lady the wrong way. “I only travel when I must...” Perhaps it was that ignorant bliss that seemingly allowed Tiger Lily to waltz through life with ease. It might have been she blurted out strange things like they were somehow normal, expected even. Or maybe the grumpy girl simply couldn’t stand that infuriatingly carefree attitude... Like, for instance, how she invited a stranger into her home without ever considering the dangers, seemingly believing that everything in the world would simply turn out alright... Hmph. How naive. But far be it from the young noble to say any of that out loud. No, she would much rather seethe silently. Manners first and foremost. The offer of a different blend was met with much the same tone one would use when a waiter asked them if a lesser brand of soda was okay. Lilith let out a defeated sigh, her shoulders slouching with the deflating expectations. “Ugh, ginger tea will suffice, I suppose...” However, when the gracious host actually handed the guest the iced tea, the latter went utterly silent. She shifted her puzzled stare to the drink. Then back to Ty. Back to the drink. Aaaand finally back to Ty. “...This is cold.” Her mutter was a mixture of disappointment and disbelief, like she couldn’t decide which one to feel. Why no, she had never even heard of something as blasphemous as ‘iced tea’. Still, the witch at least gave the drink a tentative sip... Before wrinkling her nose. It was sweet too. Why was it sweet? Proper tea was supposed to be as bitter as her... Tch, never mind. Originally she had intended to drop the matter about mandrake tea entirely, but this sorry excuse for a drink left her no choice. She turned her attention to the strange artifact the girl showed her. Ah, it was one of those... phones, was it? At first she had thought it to be some sort of mind control artifact, based on how keenly people stared at them, but apparently it served other functions too. After studying the map for a moment, Lilith pointed at a light woodland area conveniently nearby. “Mandrake grows in the open, usually in forest clearings, groves and fallow land. You should be able to find some around this area.” She looked up from the map, casting a doubtful glance at Tiger Lily. This girl... wasn’t particularly sharp, was she? As usual, it was up to her to guide the ignorant peasantry. “You can recognize the plant by its rosette growth pattern, thick leaves and brightly colored flower in the center. The best ones are light blue or violet.” She paused for a moment. A nagging thought kept telling her she was forgetting something, but unhelpfully refused to reveal what it might’ve been. Oh well, couldn’t be too important... Upon being handed the metal case, the young noble froze. Her eyes widened in bewilderment. What... was this...? The explanation wasn’t helping either. Touch screen, satellite link, capsules... The words rang hollow, finding no echo in her mind. Clearly the strange girl was explaining some sort of summoning magic, but... The witch couldn’t feel even a spark of spell power from the odd artifact. She was utterly lost. ...Buuut obviously her pride didn’t allow her to admit that. “I... uh... would rather take a bath first...” It was an attempt to buy time to regain her composure. Gah, this girl really rubbed her the wrong way... Words: 584 | 991 Natural PL at start: 12,251 Tags: Ty

Tiger Lily imitated the expressions Lilith was making when she tried the ginger iced tea, it did not suit her taste buds after all, and now she was smiling at the idea that the mandrake tea was even better. The teenage witch pointed at the area in the map where she knew the root grew and nodded in response, closing her flip c-phone, and sliding it in her pocket as she had already scouted that area before.
“Alright! I will be back, feel free to get comfortable, Lady Nevermore.” Ty was off, she was fast, when she closed the door some of the pictures fell off the wall. Most of them were candid photos of Achido, Cayle, Konja, Kiryu, Vidar, Zaru, Celerai, Jade, Nase, Will O’ Wisp, and Carter. The only selfies Ty had was with Cayle, Achido, and Konja. In one particular photo, Ty was kissing Cayle on the cheek, with a blush of surprise on his face.
It was obvious that the teenage half saiyan was amicable, she had an affinity for having several friends that she swore to protect, and she had made plans to enlarge their Baba Yaga fortune telling illustration on her bedroom wall. Ty wanted it to take an entire wall because it was so darn cute.
Upon arrival of the location, the ki signature alerted Ty of the mandrake, it was similar to the sapling of might tree, and when she went to uproot it; a ear piercing scream echoed throughout the forest. A murder of crows perched nearby panicked from the sound, scattering to the skies, and the redhead scrambled to reburry the root.
“Huh, that’s is so weird.” Ty punched a hole next to the root, then used her palm to scoop out the chunk of dirt that was compressed by the force of her fist, and carried it snuggly against her chest. Being unfamiliar with the root, she figured Lilith would know exactly what to do with it, as she took flight to return to the tree house.
Unaware if Lilith was still in the living room or checking out the bedrooms, she shouted loud enough for her to hear through the thin walls of the tree house, and held a wide smile.
“I am back!” She announced upon entering, covered in dirt, as she walked over to place the mandrake root on the table. “It started screaming so I brought it back with dirt-in-all. I never prepared this before, is it like cooking a lobster? Steam it up until it stops screaming? Heh.”
A half saiyan like herself was savage with her hunt, she foraged, and lived off the land most of the time. The dinosaur raptors were specifically slaughtered by her own hands just so she could make herself a chicken sandwich. Her best friend Achido would nearly faint, whenever she decapitated a bird, drained all its blood, and plucked all the feathers. [485] [1,294] Lilith Nevermore

Much to Lilith’s continued annoyance, the bundle of energy also more commonly known as Tiger Lily showed no signs of slowing down. As the door slammed shut, it felt like the whole house trembled. Some pictures even fell down. An irritated twitch tugged the pale teen’s eye. How could anyone put up with that walking whirlwind...? She took one more sip of the sugary liquid mistakenly masquerading as tea before deciding it was undrinkable. Even her politeness had its limits. Leaving it onto the nearest table, she started looking around. Only now it occurred to her that she had never actually asked where the bath was located... How annoying. Looking for any sort of signs, the witch turned her attention onto the pictures. Sir Miyazawa aside, none of the people seemed familiar. Except for one... Her heart nearly stopped when she spotted a certain man among them. It was the violent ape who had attacked her and nearly killed her in that pitiful village for no reason. ...Yes, that is absolutely how it went. Disgust coursed through her veins like venom, poisoning the thoughts. That kiss... was something reserved for harlots... and lovers. Her magic spiked, boiling over in the cauldron of her soul. So this was what the little snake had been hiding from her... Turning away from the disgusting photo, the upset noble marched off. She would take that bath and then take her leave. Perhaps she should burn this whole tree down to the ground. A sadistic smile spread across her features. Yeeesss... Before she could do anything drastic, however, she stumbled upon a bedroom of sorts. Her eyes were immediately drawn to the unmistakable idol on the wall. Was this... a shrine...? It soothed the flames in her soul somewhat. Anyone who worshipped the mighty witch like this couldn’t be completely rotten... Her thoughts were shattered by the shout that shook the house. Right. Tea. She would question the girl about the ape later... The guest returned to the living room, hiding her toxic thoughts behind the frigid exterior. One thing Ty mentioned resonated strangely with Lilith. “Screamed...” The realization hit the witch like a world-class boxer. That’s what she had forgotten! Such a crucial detail too. Gah, an embarrassing amateur mistake... Someone could’ve... Her eyes widened and she whipped around to face the oblivious delivery girl. “Wait, you survived the mandrake’s scream?” Survived it seemingly unharmed to boot. No bleeding from the ears, eyes or other orifices. How strange. A regular human should have perished instantly... For some reason, the thought cut deep. The mere idea of the irritating, insensitive and ill-educated teen dying because of her foolish mistake filled her with... erm... whatever was the opposite of indifference. A strange, unpleasant feeling... Suddenly, the young noble scoffed and snatched the clump of dirt away from the girl. “Hmph, hand it over before you hurt yourself.” She clutched it against her chest with strange fury burning in her eyes. “Handling mandrakes should be left to the experts. You could seriously hurt yourself and... and...” Her expression wavered as she trailed off. No, she couldn’t finish the thought. It just... refused to form itself into proper words. “Tch, never mind. Fool.” She marched off to the tiny excuse for a kitchen and plopped the clump onto the counter. A quiet mutter left her lips, sneaking out beneath her breath before she could even notice. “But... Thank you...”Lilith gathered her composure. The blush creeping onto her cheeks was buried deep beneath the icy mask. She was in desperate need of a new topic and luckily she knew exactly what to talk about. “To stop a mandrake from screaming, you must first freeze it.” She brandished her wand while continuing the commentary. “If you cannot cast ice magic yourself, a spell scroll will do fine.” As she focused and spoke the words, a small snowflake formed onto the tip of the wand. “I call forth the wrath of winter... Frost Hex.” A tiny blue bolt arced across the air and coursed through the leaves. In a flash, the whole plan froze solid. “Now you can cut it up and boil the pieces.”Words: 695 | 1686 Natural PL at start: 12,251 Tags: Ty

The witch’s muttered insults were largely ignored, it was the type of dialogue that was tuned out by the redhead due the side effects of the screaming mandrake, and she only listened in when her tone was clear; while she did her best to read her lips, she was not an expert on it. Tiger Lily was attentive to Lilith’s explanation of handling the mandrake, she used her frost magic to prepare it, and stars of wonder were reflected in her ocean colored eyes in response.
“That is so practical!” Ty clapped in excitement to try something she never had before, “You know a lot about flora and fauna native to the area. I can learn quite a lot if you could spare the time to teach me?”
Tiger Lily knew how to process tea in its natural composition, she picked up a chef’s knife, and began slicing the frozen mandrake to equal sized pieces so its natural components would boil evenly.
“You’re very welcome! I am looking forward to having a cup of tea myself when it’s done. I can take over from here.” Ty continued slicing effortlessly with a precise amount of strength despite it being frozen, “Did you get the chance to look around the house? Sorry about the spare bedroom having a bunch of Pilaf Land posters, I ran out of wall space in my own room, so I figured I could put any extra in the spare room without anyone else who lives here minding it. You can use the bathtub and relax for a while, everything you need is in the room, towels, tallowate soap my mom Calla Lily made from sealion fat, back at my home island. By the time you freshen up the tea should be ready.”
Tiger Lily began to hum as the entire mandrake was sliced into cubes, she placed them all in a pot of cold water to boil, in the meantime she began preparing a distillery workstation on an empty part of the kitchen counter to make the purest form of tea to unlock its full potential. Praise was a rare treat for the wicked witch. Most mortals treated her knowledge as either fairytale nonsense or eldritch lore. Both were equally inaccurate and insulting... Basking in the excitement like a cat in the sun, she allowed herself a smug, little smile. “Ho hum~ Of course. I have studied and mastered a variety of fields.” ...Magical fields that is. The question of teaching was met with a pause, however. “My knowledge may only be taught to witches, but...” She considered it briefly. Hm, annoying attitude aside, the girl might have potential. “I might allow you to be my apprentice, if you are willing to cast away your humanity.” The ominous suggestion was spoken with the kind of nonchalance usually reserved for getting a new haircut. The matter had to be shelved for now though. In Lilith’s opinion, there was something unnerving about the ease with which Tiger Lily wielded the sharp instrument. With that in mind, she decided that bringing up the violent ape man would be rather tactless. Instead, she deflected the question with a casual wave of hand. “Oh, I glanced around... It looks all so very... cozy.” She lied. The bath was already calling her name anyway. “Well, a bath does sound lovely.” She had to swallow her pride for a brief moment, but refused to let it show. “Ah, but which door is the bath?” If she had been half the fortune-teller her great-great-grandmother was, she wouldn’t have to humiliate herself by asking. “And did you say... Self-made soap...? How... quaint.”With the directions hopefully clear, the young noble walked off. “If you peek, I will tear the soul out of your body...” She was still getting used to this kind of house, as evident by her fumbling search for the fabled bathtub. ...No, that was a closet, apparently. Eventually she did find the bathroom. Her eyes widened, glimmering with the rarest treat of them all. Pleasant surprise. It was... clean. She had half-expected... You know, it doesn’t really matter. After figuring out how warm water was summoned into the tub, she carefully slipped out of her clothes... And gave the soap a suspicious glance. Perhaps she would just... conjure her own... The members of the Nevermore family would never get into heaven... Buuuut this came pretty close. Lilith sank into the gently steaming water with a happy sigh. Her icy attitude melted away, leaving behind only soft bliss. This was exactly what she had needed after a long day of dealing with a monkey boy, a gorilla girl and a handsome hero a misguided fool. While soaking, she completely lost track of the time. Words: 441 | 2127 Natural PL at start: 12,251 Tags: Ty

“Cast away my humanity? That is nearly impossible since I am half human.” Tiger Lily admitted with an amused smile, she continued to set up the fine glass blown distillery chemistry set, it was made by her father who was an expert glassblower. The Kalabasa clan were artisans, with Ty’s own specialty being able to extract essential oils, chemical compounds, and procuring ingredients for her mother’s handcrafted products in order to provide a basic living.
When Lilith began muttering again, she failed to hear some of things she said as well as the question of where the bath was, and lastly her threat of tearing her soul out if she peeked due to the side effects of the mandrake which made her stop what she was doing when the ringing stopped inside her ear drum.
“Hmm...I can hear better suddenly.” Ty revealed as she finished the set up, the water was boiling, softening the mandrake, the water turned a natural shade of pink equivalent to boiling certain turnips. The soft mandrake was put in a blender, along with some of the boiled liquid, to render even more out of the ingredient, then it was filtered through cheesecloth into a funnel, and finally into a glass flask. The flash was placed over the burner of the chemistry set, it began distilling the liquid carefully, the pink liquid was processed with the H2O in the air, and into a final flask. The liquid was nearly golden after losing its pinking hue, she figured it was the reverse of ginger when it was exposed to ginger, when it was finally distilled. The redhead opened up a vacuum sealed glass container with a dome lid that was full of light orange cubes, it looked like sugar for the most part, with tiny sesame seed specs, these were sugar cubes made from the fruits the sapling of might produced. Each cube had its own power level, she placed a few inside a glass bowl, next to a glass cup of hot mandrake tea on a glass saucer, and sliced some lemon wedges into a separate dish placing it all into a wooden tray. Tiger Lily carefully brought up the wooden tray up the flight of steps leading to the guest room, she placed it by the wall, and knocked on the bathroom door.
“Tea is ready, I set it just outside the door, whenever you’re done. Hopefully you can drink it while it's still hot. Shout if you need anything”
Of course Tiger Lily possessed manners, she was raised to be a decent person, no matter how mean people were to her. She went into Achido’s room, on accident, she noticed an egg on his bed, and realized she was not in her own room so she closed the door going to the third door from the first door which is the guest room. Tiger Lily got on her laptop computer, pulling out the souvenir photo from the roller coaster test ride, and had it scanned by the camera lens at the top of the screen in bright blue rays as she held it up. The image was then digitally transferred into the computer, then she pressed the keys on the keyboard, to order an enlarged print, she plugged in a Capsule Corp DynoCapsule printing device into one of the sockets. Tiny lasers began to materialize a capsule with her paid order of a 10x10 foot print.
After it completed, she stood up, and picked up the pill sized capsule, clicking it and throwing it against the wall covered in pilaf land posters. The enlargement was transparent, with a slight tint of color, and the posters were still visible through it, as well as the rendering itself.
“Nice.” [624]

For a good while there, Lilith was simply... floating in a world of bliss. Nothing to disturb her moment of rest. ...Except for a sudden knock on the door. Startled by the sound, she flinched, splashed and nearly hit her head. Admittedly she was about to yell something about how people should learn to knock, before her addled mind caught the thought. Right. Never mind then. “I... I was almost done anyway.” No, she didn’t quite believe that herself either. No wonder it came out so hesitantly. In truth, she could’ve stayed here for hours. ...Or at least until the water got cold. Eventually the door creaked ajar. From the crack peered a single crimson eye. It focused on the tray like a tracking laser. The door opened a little further and a pale hand reached out to drag the offering inside. Fortunately no one was around to see her acting like a soaked gremlin. Inside, the gre-erm, the witch took a moment to study the strange orange cubes. Either the heat was making her dizzy, or each cube contained a trace of energy... Since she never made mistakes, she quickly concluded it had to be the latter. Fascinating... She tentatively tried one, savored the taste and washed it down with a sip of tea. It left her just sitting there in light daze. ...Yes, this pleased Lady Nevermore. After enjoying the offerings, the young noble dried herself and got dressed again. She made a mental note to get one of these... tubs. Bathing in a cauldron was traditional, but also uncomfortable. Walking out of the bathroom with the emptied tray in hand, she tracked Ty’s energy to the correct room. Her chiming voice announced her arrival. “Thank you for the ba-” Only to be cut off by shock. “-What in the devil's name is that?” It was the first thing she accidentally blurted out upon seeing the enlarged poster. This had to be the second strangest shrine of worship she had ever seen... Left baffled by the sight, she wasn’t sure if she even wanted to hear an answer. Well, on the topic of answers, there was something still gnawing Lilith’s mind. Shaking the shock out of her head, she hurriedly waved the matter aside. “N-no matter... There is something else I wish to ask...” The problem was wording it properly. “That man... in the pictures whom you were... kissing...” Her gaze turned colder. It almost felt like the temperature dropped a couple of degrees. “Who is he to you?” She had her suspicions, of course, but for the first time in her life she didn’t want to be right... Tiger Lily was admiring the poster, her hands were on her hips, as she stood in the middle of the room and turned around after hearing Lilith come in to thank her for the bath and tea. It did wonders on her complexion, despite being pale, the dark circles under her eyes were gone from the mini spa treatment. The poster on the wall took the witch by surprise, even cursing the devil’s name, and she giggled.
“I don’t think the devil is nearly as cute as we are in this rendition. I had it enlarged, so I can admire all my pilaf land adventures, every time I visit.” Ty added, “Did I make the tea to your taste? It had a rich wooden flavor so I felt the sugar or lemon would enhance the flavor profile.”
In between all the muttering, she narrowed her ocean teal eyes attempting to pinpoint what the witch had to say, she blushed when she mentioned kissing someone. At first Tiger Lily had no idea which picture she was referring to and she confessed.
“I must confess that I have experience kissing more than one...person. So which photo are you referring to? Are there that many of me doing that?” She rubbed the back of her neck nervously, she remembered who she kissed in her lifetime, but she could not remember every photo she had taken.
“Have you kissed anyone you liked Lady Nevermore?”
It was only in fairness that she asked the witch a personal question in return, otherwise the conversation would not be an interesting one, if they both did not reveal additional details to one another. The red head motioned over to her desk rolling the desk chair for her to take a seat in, with the seriousness lingering in the air, they would both need to be comfortably seated for it. Ty sat on her Shu ninja bed, this whole room was childish fandom, but she was still a teenager so of course she was going to enjoy every second of her youth. Ty hugged a ninja star plush pillow and patiently waited for Lilith to explain further with a bit less muttering. [363] [2,631] Lilith Nevermore

Yet again, the red-headed girl found a way to baffle the young witch. The latter had honestly thought that would be impossible at this point. She blinked slowly, trying her hardest to process the answer that defied all her expectations. Fumbling for words, she struggled to say something. Anything. “Uh... T-the tea was fine, thank you...” In hindsight, she should’ve just kept her mouth shut. Nothing sensible ever came out when her concentration was in shambles. Personally, she blamed the airheaded menace for this. That level of stupidity was clearly contagious. Worse yet, with one armor-piercing question Ty completely reversed the situation. Lilith recoiled. “W-what? K-k-k-kissed?!” Between her studies and dealing with sleazebag nobles only interested in their own position, she had never spared a thought to something like that. Kissing was... for people who were very special. That was the extent of her knowledge on the subject. The rest was merely... theory hastily scribbled onto the pages of her diary on lonely nights. “W-w-well, seeing as I am not a shameless harlot, no, I have not.” She tried her best to summon righteous fury into her tone, but the bright blush on her cheeks told a whole different tale. The flustered noble folded her arms and averted her gaze. “Furthermore, I have no one I like.” In imaginary confines of her mind, a tiny imp stirred awake. It snuck over to the parchment where her thoughts were being turned into words. With a playful snicker, it brandished a quill and wrote one teeny-tiny slip of tongue. “A-and even if I did, it is far too early to kiss Sir Miyazawa.” She paused, utterly mortified. Suddenly she became all too aware of how much her cheeks were burning. “...Imean, too early to think about such things.” Smooth. Truly the most graceful recovery imaginable. And the tiny imp laughed... Words: 308 | 2875 Natural PL at start: 12,251 Tags: Ty

“It is that bad, isn’t it? I only ever wanted to kiss one person in my lifetime just like my parents...but my best friend realized he likes me a lot more than a friend so keeps finding opportunities to steal kisses from me despite the fact that I already have a boyfriend.” Tiger Lily pouted, “I am innocent.”
The best friend in question was the blonde teenage boy, named Achido, who was missing inside the mysterious temple, when it was collapsing, he helped Konja get out. Towards the end of the incident, Kiryu held the structure up, long enough for everyone to escape, except there were quite a few people who were left unaccounted for, exploring the temple did more harm than good.
Ty buried her head in the shuriken plush pillow, sighing of her teenage drama, and then tried to think of any solutions after she raised her head, using her finger tips to shuffle the orange strands of her hair over her brow.
“I don’t think punching him will solve the problem either. Maybe if he dates other people or something.” After some self reflection she thought about who else she locked lips with, “I also recently found out my boyfriend has a clone and I kissed him too, if I focused really hard on the different ki signature, I could have avoided that accident.”
When Lilith brought up the fact that it was too soon to kiss Kiryu her face practically lit up, “I think he has feelings for you by acting like some kind of noble now that I had time to reflect on his different attitude towards you. Is that really what you are looking for in a partner, to act that way? You don’t like him as is? He is a kind mage, who looks out for everyone, and just wants to make a difference. Despite all the dangers in the world, he always has a lax nature, it is comforting to know he has no doubt over his magic ability, and I never ever witnessed any fear on his face. The white tiger he has with him? He rescued her from a pirate captain, who kept her against her will wearing a shock collar, she also had a crocodile, but when I broke the collar she turned into a monster crocodile woman...then she was forced to be enslaved again...we weren’t able to save her, there was a force field in the way, and the captain teleported away using high level technology. Kiryu said he traced Captain Jewel for a while so he is getting close to finding out her hideout so she can be punished by the World Government for her crimes.”
A sigh escaped her lips, she was still hopeful they would be able to secure the bounty on the pirate captain to end her enslavement of people, and she shook her head from the thought.
“So do you prefer that he confesses first or do you prefer confessing yourself Lady Nevermore?”

Lilith, struggling with her own embarrassment, offered only an indignant huff at the girl’s pouty excuses. “Hmph.” ...Well, fine, it wasn’t the only thing she would say. Much like a boiling teapot couldn’t hold onto the steam, she was unable to keep her judgemental thoughts to herself. “Please excuse my disbelief, but I have been left with the impression that you could lift a horse. And quite likely eat it too.” She had seen glimpses of the monstrous physical prowess that dwelled within the strange girl. “Thus I find it strange that any man would be able to act so brazenly towards you, repeatedly no less.” Her eyes narrowed and voice filled with all the warmth of a winter storm. “If that man did indeed steal your innocence... Then why does he still draw breath?”However, it soon became clear to the witch that the red-headed menace was much too soft and naive for a permanent solution. Her head drooped. She ran her thin fingers through the long, lavender locks with a frustrated groan. “Uuuugh... You. Are. Hopeless.” As far as she was concerned, there were very few problems which a properly applied death threat didn’t solve. Perhaps the teen truly was a shameless harlot. Kissing every man that came her way... Tch, how indecent. Were all commoners like this? All those thoughts were pushed aside, when Tiger Lily latched onto the one topic Lilith had been desperately avoiding until now. The young noble rushed to deflect the scandalous questions. “I do not like him at all!” Unfortunately, her angry squeak was rather powerless against the veritable tidal wave of words washing over her. Worse yet, she couldn’t even claim that the girl was lying... Because.. If she allowed herself just a brief moment of honesty, then yes, Sir Miyazawa was an extraordinary man. Powerful, talented, fearless and... much too kind. Too good for someone like... The quiet guest snapped out of her thoughts when the curious host poked the proverbial beehive yet again. “...I told you, I do not like him!” She grasped her wand and started idly turning it in her grasp. Anything to distract her from the burning sensation on her cheeks. After a moment of awkward silence, she actually answered the question. In a way. “F-furthermore, a lady does not confess first. That would be utterly backwards. There is an order to these things... I think...” Uncertainty peeked through her tone. The kind of quiet, trembling insecurity inspired by inexperience. She absolutely hated it. And speaking of hate... Sometimes, Lilith also hated her curiosity. Having grown up without sisters, she had never gotten the chance to ask about things like this. And now that she finally had... uh... a peer? Yes, a peer. Her curiosity was rearing its head. Drip, drop, the questions were condensing onto her tongue, begging to be said. She stared at Ty long and hard. Finally, after much hesitation, she dared to ask... “How can you tell if you are... in love?” And simply saying it painted her cheeks bright red. She hurried to clarify. “Hypothetically, of course. Love is for mortals. I just want to know how the symptoms manifest...” She trailed off and returned to fiddling with her wand. The revelation that Lilith would kill someone went over the line of her personal space, made Ty wonder how old the witch was, she heard of people being executed nearly a thousand years ago for defying their ruler. Tiger Lily doubted Lilith was capable of killing anyone, she probably meant it hypothetically, and she had every right to be guarded by something like a kiss which was quite personal with heavy meaning.
“Eh? I could never kill a friend over something like that. A friend should be forgiven for their misdeeds.” Ty blushed, “I get caught off guard because it’s been so long, I am used to being near him, and I am still at a loss of what to do.”
The clue Lilith was looking for was finally blurted out but what were the odds it was the same Cayle? Was it a common name? Or was the photo enough evidence? What about the chance it was a clone? “The first time Achido kissed me, Cayle punched him square in the nose, and rendered him unconscious. It was after curfew by the time my Uncle, who is a doctor, examined him and he was still knocked out in the hospital bed. I rushed to go to his parents house, to inform them of the accident, and that’s when I found Kiryu at a party nearby the very same night.”
She nodded as she recalled the whole experience, “Kiryu taught me some martial arts moves so I can prevent my friends from getting hurt. A couple of months after that he invited me to participate in a tournament to elect inheritors for the Path of Joy. A samurai and a bald shaved martial artist were given the honor. I lost in the first round in a three way match….eh this teenager was making fun of me so I took it out on him losing sight of my second opponent who ended up winning after I was tired out. Heh.”
The more Lilith heard about Kiryu, the more infuriated she was, and she raised her voice to affirm her denial. Tiger Lily threw a Emperor Pilaf doll at her lap, to calm her down, and she giggled.
“I can tell you have strong feelings for Kiryu.” Ty nodded, “You know sometimes when I am angry I get sad after. Maybe when you say you don’t like someone enough times you may end up loving them instead. You did not say you hated him after all, so there is still hope. Hate is too strong of an awful feeling, something like that would consume your soul, and you live everyday to fortify that hate...what a drag. Isn’t that what Piccolo Daimao has been doing for over four hundred years? What’s his deal anyways, he is beyond salvation.”
Tiger Lily reflected for a minute what love meant to her, “Well, I love my family, I would be lost without them since they raised me. I am who I am today because of them. As for Cayle, it was love at first sight, I guess I was perceptive without even trying. I later found out more about my heritage, because of Cayle, after my father had been keeping it secret from me. I had a new outlook on life because of my boyfriend. I decided to quit school and train in martial arts instead so that I could see the world with him and help people. If I had to single out a defining moment as to what love is, then it would be the fact that you want to spend every day of your life with that person, or people. You can also love your friends for being encouraging.”
That meant she loved Achido and Kiryu as good friends, she was that gullible of a person, and she had so much to live for with her sunbeam of influence. [648] [3,781]
