Night in the city. Usually, this would be the highlight of people's day due to work ending and parties starting, but for the hopeful martial artist Nase, it was the bane of his existence. It getting dark meant that Nase would have to find somewhere to sleep and eat for the night, which always was an issue for Nase to deal with. While he was here the first time, he found a cheap motel to stay in so he wouldn't be out in the cold for the whole time to get mugged or anything, but this time he was feeling weary of going there again. Rats and unknown stains on bedsheets weren't things that Nase normally enjoyed, so Nase began to rethink his choices before going back and wasting his money again. At the moment, he was standing seemingly by himself in an alleyway weighing next to a closed restaurant's garbage bin and trying to avoid being seen by people... as he usually did. He really didn't enjoy human interaction that much when it was unwarranted. Or interaction with any race for that matter.
Looking up into the night sky, Nase thought about how strange it was that he kept meeting all these new strange and interesting people, despite not really looking for them anyway. It didn't always end safely for him anyway, so he was fine not always engaging new people. Like that 'General Red' that he met relatively early during his first trip here. Her strength in the short fight they had still had an impact on him. Stepping back from the wall he was standing next to, he sighed and put his hands in his pockets as he looked down.
("Guess I'll have to go back to there anyway... unless I can find somewhere else tha-")
Not even able to finish his thought, Nase froze up suddenly as he heard movement behind him in the pitch-black alleyway. Only daring to turn his head slightly after realizing this, Nase still stood there, unmoving, until he turned his head back again. Gritting his teeth, Nase looked in the surrounding area erratically, a sweat drop slowly forming on the side of his face.
"Hell, they know already."
Widening his stance slightly and clenching his right hand tightly, Nase took a slow step forward. He exhaled slowly as he lowered his torso in preparation.
"...Come on already."
Suddenly, a concealed figure jumped up from the side behind Nase and lunged towards his left arm. Reacting in an instant, the ambushed 21-year-old swung his arms towards the attacker and latched onto their clothes rigidly. With one hefty movement, he swung their body like a ragdoll onto the dirty ground to the side with a loud thump. After doing this, someone landed behind him and Nase stood straight up again, reacting to the noise. Now fully in a 'fight or flight' scenario, he went for a straight punch towards the person's head, but instead hit against something that he registered was the side of a rifle. Immediately after returning his fist to his side, he realized he should have kept his guard up as the side of the weapon he was just parried with violently met with the side of his face.
"Ah!"
Falling onto his behind, Nase made sure not to be caught down for too long against these opponents and rolled backwards onto his feet to face his assaulter. Unfortunately, he was watching out for the wrong person. Hearing the clunk of metal directly behind him, he saw a crouched person behind him look up and through their scouter visor and mask smirk at him maliciously. Turning with a look of anger and confusion, Nase didn't even get to act before the two pill-shaped devices activated. Quickly, they opened up and sudden bolts of electricity shot up ahead and began shocking Nase with a high amount of energy, causing him to convulse and scream out in pain. After multiple seconds had passed, their grenade-like capsules finally stopped firing, leaving Nase to fall down off of his feet and onto his knees slowly.
Not being able to raise his head, Nase had to use his now fading peripherals to see the surprisingly large amount of people who came out of hiding once he had fallen. From what he heard and saw, there were at least 10 people all around him, and it took only three of them to take him down. Pathetic.
"Huh, is that enough?"
Slamming his hand against the cement underneath him, Nase noticed that one of the sets of feet that he saw slightly jumped back a bit. Huh, at least, he knew which one said that.
"Not... yet..."
Raising his head to the group, though his hair covered his eyes so he still couldn't see, he raised his other arm slowly and clenched his fist, causing a flickering ki blade to form over it. While there was a short pause as the ambush group stepped back, it was swiftly cut short by a large boot landing next to his head.
"A ki blade? That wasn't listed in the description."
The large figure sounded very nonchalant compared with the task this group was doing, and continued on as Nase tried to raise his arm. One of the people in the group began to warn the speaker, but they didn't even flinch as the blade went to pierce their leg, but disappeared right before it hit.
Ah, don't worry about him. He's almost out anyway."
Quickly being dragged upwards by his shoulder, Nase blinked hard as the figure lifted him to eye level and smirked.
"Heh."
Then, he was dropped onto his back forcefully and the person who lifted him up in the first place raised their leg up into the air and grinned once again, which was really all he could make out after the head damage he had already taken. Not hearing anything after that, Nase had to watch as the foot of his attacker quickly got closer and closer to his face, until... Black.

Straining to open his eyes, the injured cyborg slowly began to regain consciousness once again. Seeing a place that he definitely wasn't in before, Nase immediately tried to get up from his sitting position, but found himself unable to do so. Looking down, he saw a large group of what seemed to be mechanized chains and locks all around his arms, torso, legs and even his neck. It seems that whoever did this, wanted to make sure he couldn't leave. Though Nase was sure that he could break out if he could power-up, he unfortunately still felt too weak to do so. Damn... He really let himself get beat like that... Well, it didn't matter that much to him as long as he could get out as soon as possible. Turning his head, he noticed that the place he was in a sort of looked like an empty train.
Wait a second. Is... is he moving?
"I wouldn't suggest moving around for now."
Shocked by the voice, Nase turned around to see Someone standing a few spaces away in a white and black uniform who was reading a digital tablet in one of their hands. Staring at them with a mix of confusion and anger, they stopped scrolling down the page they were on and met his gaze blankly. The man turned as well and Nase saw an acronym pasted on their top that he didn't recognize. 'T.S.E.'
"Resisting your bonds will only cause even more damage to yourself as you are now. Also, there are precautions made to ensure that even if you do escape that device, your safe arrival to the next location is assured."
Nase lowered his head sourly, clearly showing his distaste with his scenario. Glancing once again to the TSE operative (whatever that is), Nase spoke in a very exhausted tone towards him.
"Why are you guys after me anyways? You look too... prepared to be a gang. Also, all this tech stuff around makes me think that you aren't lying about those 'precautions' of yours."
Lowering the screen from their face, their glasses shining from the light, the operative spoke again, once again with the politeness and deadpan voice of an accountant.
"We have no reason to lie to you, Mr. Nase; And we have no affiliations with any primitive clans you have been facing recently, especially those barbaric ones run by monkeys."
Raising an eyebrow at the 'clarification', Nase let the scientist-looking person continue with his exposition, albeit with less of a serious expression on his face.
"We are just in the process of dealing with your sudden reappearance into our datalogs and how you can assist us with a new project you have, whether willingly or not, involved yourself with."
Now Nase was just fully confused. What on earth could he have done to get himself in trouble with these people that he didn't even know. Worst off, one with this kind of firepower and control? It made him more and more confused as he realized that the attack he had experienced to get here might just be the lightest of his issues. Going to speak again, Nase was caught short by the damage that he had previously experienced returning to him. Doubled over in pain, Nase's lowered body began to feel the slight jostling of the floor underneath him as he became more in contact with it than before. They were moving. The T.S.E. scientist took note of this and began to type something into the clipboard-like device in their hands.
"Is the pain from your capture returnin-"
"How do you know my name? And who even are you people? You kidnapped me after sending an entire group to grab me and then you want to talk to me as if you don't know what happened to me?"
Becoming more irate as he spoke, Nase's eyes glowed as he turned his head fully to the man as he adjusted his glasses.
"If you have no reason to lie to me, then why not give me some answers."
The man blinked quietly at first before sighing to the side and facing the tan humanoid once again. Looking down on him literally, and if you asked Nase, figuratively, the scientist spoke to the young adult again with a sense of... familiarity? He didn't feel that the guy was being cold, but he got a sense of 'it's nothing personal' coming from him as their eyes once again met.
"The reason we know your name is due to your family's past with us. They may not have told you about it, but your parents were members of our group as well, though they were not that remarkable in their respective fields."
Ouch. Though Nase didn't know what he was really talking about, he still felt like that remark was something he should be offended by.
"While they knew of our division's admittedly strict rules and guidelines, they attempted to escape their respective fields and fled the enclave as traitors. Eventually, word spread of this treasonous act and a search was made for them to be tried for attempted desertion of their group. As it would seem, it was found that they had fled the Southern Isles entirely, so the search was indefinitely postponed until further notice..."
Stepping an uncomfortable amount of close to the restrained teen in front of him, the man looked Nase directly in his face, taking him back a bit.
"That was until you were discovered in Central Lands weeks ago."
Thinking back on what he could have been doing back then, the man stood back a bit and spoke again before Nase could ask any more questions.
"You had asked previously about the name of our faction, yes?"
Lowering his head to view the acronym again, he slightly fidgeted with the chains as the man took this as a 'go-ahead'.
"Since we are not a group that plans on attacking you and we do want your honest cooperation, I believe it is fine to give you our name, at the very least. My sector of the faction is known as the Tuffle Science Executive's Intelligence Division, also known as the T.S.E, which your father shared as well. We are a form of a secret faction of other Tuffles who have continued to live within the group that survived our landing here. As well as the obvious science, the T.S.E also has a militant division referred to as I.S.L.E.T that you have... unfortunately experienced the effect of twice now. According to our records, you were noted for 'uncharacteristic strength' and an 'easily-irritable attitude' so they went in already expecting a battle."
Sitting up straight, the now bruised teen shook his head and thought to himself about what he had just learned. Other Tuffles? He as a kid had never really asked about his parents' past, but he did have a small idea of his father having a past in technology due to many of his interests involving it. But he had no idea they were a part of a secret society! Removing those thoughts temporarily from his head, he focused on the fact that he was still trapped and grumbled in a melancholy tone to the scientist.
"So what? Am I going to be tried in their stead, they aren't here anymore anyway."
Immediately, a look of shock and regret washed over the scientist's face as he heard this, and Nase lowered his head again gritting his teeth tightly. Though just as weak as before, a flickering aura of green started forming around Nase's body while he was speaking to the man.
"I-I'm sorry to hear tha-"
"I'm right, aren't I? Is that why 'ISLET' almost killed me before?"
Shaken up by this, the man waved his hands frantically and quickly stuttered over trying to say something.
"No, no, we aren't trying you for anything!"
Looking up from the ground, Nase squinted his eyes at the man untrustingly, seeing as he already didn't feel too keen on someone associated with the group that just tazed him and kicked his face in. The man though, continued on trying to explain the situation to him.
"ISLET knows to differentiate between deserters and their children. We haven't sent for you because of your family. Also... I'm sorry to hear that happened to them. I wasn't knowledgeable about their work while they were here. Do you happen to know what happened? Last we heard, they were sighted in the northern lands near the Namekian territory"
What was this guy now? A therapist? Nase normally would have clammed up immediately if anyone asked him about his parents, especially since he was asking where... But since this person seems to have had a connection with them, albeit a weak one, he felt sort of inclined to do so.
"Well... you aren't too far off there with the location, actually... They actually passed around a month ago, when I first started my travel. I came back almost an hour after I left and by then... the house was destroyed with them inside. My mother was dead when I reached and my dad died shortly after..."
Pausing to take a shaky and strained breath, Nase closed his eyes and let his hair go over his eyes as he spoke again dejectedly.
"I... I should have been there sooner. I could have helped them. Or at least tried. If I did, my mom might have lived and my dad wouldn't have to..."
Cutting himself off, Nase froze due to a mix of grief and not wanting to give out too much information on what caused his robotic transformation so quickly. While he didn't look up to see it, the man in the room was thinking hard on what to say. As a scientist who was part of an initiative fully unknown save for a small group that knew them for their... more unpleasant biological studies, he hadn't needed to be compassionate or sympathetic in a long time. Unable to properly convey empathy, the man finally spoke up.
"You... shouldn't blame yourself for their passing. If this truly was at the beginning of your travel then you alone would not be enough to stop something able to destroy a building. In any regard, if you have survived this long after that attack without too great an incident, that should reveal that their death was not made in vain, but instead, something that should incite a feeling of survival and determination within you."
A pregnant silence followed the man's speech until the defeated Nase rose his head once again and blinked his heavy-lidded eyes and tilted his head.
"So what you're saying is, that I should try and live on for my parents' sake, instead of being all dark and gloomy about it."
"Well, not entirely for them alone. You must have your own ambitions, yes? I am just saying you should go further through your life, and keep their memory with you as you go on."
Shaking his head again, Nase smiled in a bittersweet smile and turned his head to the man.
"Heh... That doesn't sound so bad actually. If I wasn't literally kidnapped right now after getting beat into the ground, I would actually be enjoying it here after that."
As he said this, both of them smiled to each other calmly, but were thrown off by the ground underneath them shaking suddenly and stopping just as fast a second after. Flinching from the abrupt movement, the chained man cringed as he was slightly pushed by the force.
"Wh-what was that?!"
"It seems we have stopped."
"Where are we anyways?"
Before the man could answer, a heavy step landed behind them as a far off door in the room opened. Freezing up from this, the wide-eyed Nase slowly glanced over to the sound that even caused the TSE scientist to gasp and step back. Seeing two large silhouetted figures standing almost too tall for the doorway, he realized that he was not fully out of the mess he found himself in.
"Why, you don't know yet? It seems like you two didn't have a long enough talk. Too bad for you~."
The talking giant flashed a bright smile as they advanced, and the silent one followed suit while Nase remembered hearing the titan's voice recently. The height as well made him realize who he was interacting with.
"Ah, you're finally aware of the situation here, right?"
As they came into the light, Nase confirmed his suspicion almost immediately. This person was the same that stepped on him earlier that night and knocked him out in that alleyway. Wait, was it even the same day? He couldn't even be sure of that because of her. Visibly sneering as she spoke to him, Nase made it a point to struggle against his chains as she stepped closer, not to try and break out, but just to send a message. The 7 foot Amazonian had a visible symbol on her clothing that Nase could make out to be another name, just like the one of the man's shirt, except this one in particular, had the letters I.S.L.E.T. written on it. Great.
"Aw, the poor traitor's son didn't like his escort? Maybe we can go ask someone to help you with your seatbelt here."
Looking over to the awed scientist disappointedly, he turned back just in time to swing himself away from the soldier disdainfully. Doing this, he pushed his legs around onto the seat he was on, almost hitting her in the process. Seeing this, the woman began to glare down at Nase and a visible vein on her forehead beginning to throb as she gritted her teeth in annoyance. Message delivered, I guess. Resisting the urge to turn Nase into a doughnut, the woman turned her head to her compatriot behind her and spoke to her in her usual cocky tone.
"Oi, Major, I guess we'll have to deal with him the old fashioned way, wouldn't you say~?"
"It would seem so."
Stepping out from behind the original soldier, a familiarly revealed figure appeared ahead of him.
"Y- you two really don't need to do this... He was c-completely compliant befo-"
While the scientist quietly stammered on, a hand appeared in front of him, shutting him up quickly. The original woman smirked as he stopped quickly and lowered her hand.
"Protocol is unnecessary right now, Doctor Killjoy. Besides..." "That's not my name."
She turned to Nase again, who didn't even hear her as he saw a large flurry of red flash in front of him as a golden shield rushed closer and closer to his face.
"Gene-"
And just like that, Nase was once again unconscious due to an ISLET attack, this time was much faster, however. After the now re-knocked out Nase slumped over, the woman who first came in used a key in the steel cube on his chest, immediately releasing him from the metal that was curved around his body, causing him to fall back into his seat once again. Gaining some enjoyment from seeing him drop, the woman spoke again to her accomplice cheerfully.
"That should be enough for the trip inside, don't you think?"
At this rate, the T.S.E. scientist felt the need to say something.
"H-hey, that wasn't necessary I said. Besides, he already was restrained, what was the point of this?"
Stepping towards the man, the soldier leaned down to his height, showing off her towering form to intimidate the scientist, which worked without a doubt, much to the scientist's chagrin.
"Whaaat~? You want to defend him or something? Don't tell me you are going rogue too now? Did his traitorous talk convince you to go against us or something?"
"It's not that! We can at least give him some decency, can we not?! In any case, he was not a deserter, his parents were, and even then, they... perished relatively recently, so we shouldn't bring them up anyway."
"Oh, talking back are we now? I am two years your senior, you know. We can have you reported if we find you suspicious, can't we Tanga-"
"Enough."
Finally, 'General Red' spoke up again after being mostly silent since she arrived.
"Necta, that's enough for now. We know that the 'experiment' isn't being tried for any sort of treason. However, he is still listed as a possible threat and as such, we need to conceal the location of our major bases by any means necessary. In this case, unconsciousness was the safest bet."
"That is fair, but why such barbaric methods? We have an assortment of weaponized tranquillizer darts at the ready I am sure."
The forehead vein appearing again, the confrontational soldier began to lash out once again.
"Did you just refer to the Major Tangerine as barbaric? You shall definitely be court-martialed if this ever comes ou-"
"Once again, Necta, it is alright. I shall elaborate to him."
Obviously still angry, but more respectful of Tanga's rank than enraged, Necta allowed Tanga to step ahead of her as she put an arm in between them.
"In all honesty, we do not know if our anaesthetics are capable to affect him now, even our strongest kinds, at this moment. The reality of this is that he has been physically enhanced to means we have not fully tested yet, and to ensure he does not become rogue or assault our men is to use these, so-called barbaric means."
In awe at the seriousness evoked by the general's presence, the scientist bowed, though uncustomary to his rank, and immediately apologized for his previous act.
"I apologize if my wording offended you in any way, Major Tangerine. I understand now clearly."
"Then all is well then."
After this was said, Tanga signalled to her subordinate and Necta quickly lifted up Nase's body and made way to carry him outside. Tanga then followed suit, but then stopped as she reached the door.
"Oh, and you do not have to refer to me as Major alone. I was a scientist in the T.S.E. as you are now, you know."
"Y-yes, Doctor."
Breathing out deeply to herself, Tanga then left the room that the scientist was in, leaving only him and the device that restrained Nase inside.
"Good luck on your research."
As she left, the scientist turned on his device again and reread the notes he saw on it.
"The same to you..."

Nase was now 0 for 2 now with getting knocked out by giant women, and he wasn't very pleased with this situation at all. Waking up this time, Nase wondered if all of this kidnapping would cause some serious brain damage later on in life as he finally regained feeling in his arms. Was that... fluff? Opening his eyes slightly, Nase saw the place he was in seemed to be a large hangar-like room that looked very streamlined and minimalist, almost all of it being jarringly silver and white. Staying still as to pretend to still be unconscious, Nase noticed that the 'fluff' he was feeling was in fact that one soldier that was with the group that originally stole him from off the streets. "(I wonder if I attacked her right now I could get away...)"Stealthily squinting his eyes open a bit, he saw that 'General Red' was next to his limp body, and just ahead were two people who were in military-grade armour wielding some large type of weapon that Nase wasn't proficient in guns enough to even know what to call them. "(Guess that plan is a bust. I'll just have to wait it out until I can think of something else.)"Pausing for a moment, the two 'attending' to the teen stopped at the gateway the armed guards were in front of and waited as they spoke. "First Lieutenant Necta, you do not have jurisdiction over this area and therefore not allowed entry at this moment. Major Tangerine, you may go ahead with the prototype.""Doctor.""Eh? I'm still not allowed?!"Giving Necta a look of wanting to get along with this, the guard that spoke watched as the Lieutenant rolled her eyes and then lifted Nase up and off of her by the clothes on his shoulder. "Ugh, fine. He's heavy, anyways. Probably did something to my back, too."Carelessly handing him to Tanga, the dejected soldier walked off as her superior held Nase over her shoulder like a long rug. "I'll leave you to your work then. Good luck, Doctor Major."After she had left, the guards turned back to the redhead ahead of them and stepped out of her way as she placed one of Nase's arms around her surprisingly broad shoulders and carried him into the room. As Nase was carried through, he could hear the voice of one of them grumbling to themself. "Why does she always act like we owe her the right every time she comes here.""(Huh, I guess not everyone here likes her. I know I'd have issues with her.)"Being dragged into the hallway like a drunkard, Nase noticed that his legs barely reached the ground as the Major continued to carry him down the greyscale passage. After a longer moment of walking across the metal floor, the red-maned woman stopped suddenly and turned her eyes at Nase, who noticed her closer eye was glowing through his own half shut eyelids. "My augmentations allow for genetic and health-based scanning allowing for scanning without even having to move, along with that, I am able to see and feel your hand flinch when it fell on my chest. I know you are awake."Flinching again at this revelation, Nase jumped back off of her and landed on his feet. At first, he was confused at why it was so easy, but then he realized that she let go of him on purpose as she turned to face him. Strange, but he wasn't about to let this go to waste. "Sorry about this, but I've got to get out of here."In a second, a hooked blade shot out of the side of his arm and Nase lunged towards his captor with a wide swinging motion. Unfortunately, it wasn't wide enough, as the straight part of the sickle based weapon was suddenly grabbed and held, keeping the male Tuffle in bent in place. With one thorough motion, she made quick work of his hidden weapon by ripping it out of his arm, causing Nase to grip his left wrist in pain. He didn't even know that he could feel pain from it! Dropping down to the ground, the twenty-one-year-old fought the urge to scream as he held the arm emotionally. Tanga stood ahead of him with a hand on her hip, in between him and the path of the guards. In a sort of hushed tone, Tanga looked down at Nase (a running gag now, really) and gave Nase an ultimatum as he was now in her shadow. "We are still yet to finish what you were brought here for. I knew I would have got to one of you. You have a choice to make, however, since I'm sure your curious about what will happen."Removing her hand from her side, she looked past him towards a metallic door, which Nase followed her eye line to. "Either we enter that room ahead without making any noise and we can deal with why you are here... or you can try to escape and be either taken down by me or those two ahead. And believe me, though you were a viable threat when we first battled, I have become much stronger as you may have already noticed."Smiling as she mentioned her strength, she opened her hand and showed the weapon she had just removed from Nase's person, emphasizing her point. This smile enlargened greatly as she saw Nase lower his head, still holding his wrist as the function that caused his blade to come out closed slowly. Standing up now, Nase glared up at the giantess and put his hands to his sides, tightly gripping his fists in the process. "Fine. Let's go then.""Hah. Perfect."Walking to the door, Nase saw that Tanga kept watching him the whole way as if she still didn't trust him to not run away. Tsking as he did so, he opened the door ahead of them before she could reach and walked in. ("If you're going to assault me for escaping, you could at least be a little subtle about it.")Entering the room, Nase looked around and the first thing he saw was that on one side of the room there was a large machine with an extremely high-tech looking control panel ahead of it. It looked... familiar in some way. Seemingly ignoring it though, Tanga entered the room and walked over to a table at the other side and sat down behind it. There was another chair in front of the one she sat in, that Nase slowly walked over to and stood next to it. Tanga raised an eyebrow at this and with a sigh, he sat down in the chair facing the goliath-sized woman that kept him there. "So this... what is this, a job interview? Not a great look for a company's introduction to the hopeful."Smirking at the sassy remark, Tanga shook her head and retaliated smugly while putting her arms on the table. "Job interviews don't normally entail restricted travel into a secret bunker either. But that is the besides the point right now. You, whether you would want to admit it or not, were physically enhanced by a machine that was invented by our scientists here. And that's why we are here now."Could she be talking about the machine that his dad activated before his travel started that gave him his robotic parts? He still wasn't comfortable talking about it (or even sure that if he did, he'd be able to say much about it since it was such a blur), but she already seemed to know enough about it that it didn't really matter. While he was thinking to himself, Tanga sat back in her chair and smiled knowingly as she saw Nase deep in thought. "Not even going to deny it, hah? Wondeful, that makes this much easier.""...Fine, you're right. But I'm not going to tell you where it is, or go there myself either. I have... bad memories with that place."Hearing this, the female of the two bionic aliens raised a hand to stop Nase and went to correct his suspicion. "We do not need to worry about where it is right now. The TSE has decidedly lost interest in searching for the stolen prototype, but we do have something to do with you, however."Oh. That was a shock to the young adult, one that visibly showed on his face. What could this giant secret society want with him? "W-what would that entail?"As Tanga was about to speak, a group of people entered the room, all of them wearing the uniform of the TSE that Nase saw worn on that one guy in the train he was friendly with. Their uniforms, however, all had the addition of large flowing lab coats that were stereotypical of scientists of their calibre. As she saw them, Tanga rose a hand to them and acknowledged two of them by name. "Ah, Cherry, Pit. You can start the preparations with the others in the meantime.""Wait, meantime? What meantime? You still haven't told me what I'm doing here."Hearing this, Tanga put down her arms on the table and held up her tilted head with balled fists. "YOU, are here because the mechanisms that you had interacted with was made for the mission of creating war machines. And since you had interacted with one of the prototypes, ISLET has decided that you shall be the new subject for the newest version. There are many scientists here that are here in to ensure its success, and I am here as both leader of this action... and to make sure you do not escape."The look that she gave after saying that was enough to make the teen shudder. He really did not want to stay after this, but he didn't know if it was possible at this point anymore. Even if he managed to get past her, those guards in the front surely would be able to take him down afterwards, seeing as that one warrior had to listen to them and they were heavily armed. Meaning, he was trapped. "What if I wanted to refuse. Being turned into a shadow organization's weapon doesn't sound very appealing to me right now.""Well, then we'd have to refuse your refusal. As it appears, you do not have a choice in this matter. It is either you help us with this experiment, or we treat this as an act of treason, not unlike your parents' deserting of our group."Damn. Guess there's no way out. Looking over to the scientists that Tanga acknowledged and noted that the design of the computer that they used was very similar to the one his late father used to transform his body into what it was now, making Nase realize that the large pod-like machine to the side was something he was going to have to enter like last time. Not something he'd like to experience twice. Standing up from his seat, Nase looked to the side "Wait. I have a question for you guys..."Waiting for him to continue, Tanga fixed her posture and put her hands down on the table she was at. "I remember that there was writing on the original, but it was scratched out and aged, so I couldn't read. What did it say?""Not that it would mean anything to you as is, but the name for this project is from the name of another project of ours: the Neo Machine Mutant project."Mutant? That didn't sound good. Looking in confusion, Tanga's face didn't give him any clues on what any of that meant, so he was just left to his imagination with that. Now that he heard that disconcerting news, he walked towards the center of the room and looked slightly inside the machine and noticed some sort of bladed apparatus sticking out of the top. Creepy..."Are those spikes going to hurt?""Only if you resist it.""You are extremely calm for the scenario you have brought me in, so far.""It's my job, so I've become... desensitized to this, as it were. I am not tasked with reacting to the process of the test, and even then, I wouldn't recoil much to be fair. I've done much worse than hat has been shown here today.""H... how long have you been here?""Classified."Tsking to himself, Nase turned away and looked around in the bunker-like room he had to stay in and continued for something to happen. He didn't want to completely abandon the idea of running away from this, but he was sure that he couldn't just try to run away through the door, he already went through why that wouldn't work. Wait, the door that the scientists came from, that might be safe! "Preparations have been completed, Tanga.""Perfect. We can continue as planned then."Damn it! Looking up again, Nase saw as Tanga stood up from her chair and peered down at the worried cyborg. It seemed that she could look see straight through him, as without even saying anything, she went and cracked her knuckles while looking down on him. Ahhh, now what? "You aren't planning on leaving, are you? We can't have you running away now after we have done all of this effort in preparation for you."Freezing in place, Nase couldn't even speak as she walked towards him, only stopping when she was just a foot away. Then, leaning to reach eye-level, she met the distance easily and smirked menacingly at her captive. "So, let's get on with it then, yes?"

Slowly walking towards the machine, Nase paused as he looked at the improved transfiguration machine. Its large size was very intimidating, but it was only half as much as what he knew it was going to do to him. And what he didn't know could only make things worse.
"So... I really have to do this, don't I? What is even going to happen when I come out of this?"
"It's results are dependent on if your body's acceptance of the aciurgy, but we also added in the removal of many of your original enhancements as to not overwhelm your body unintentionally."
Well, that's a positive... I guess. Looking back at the man who was presumably Pit, Nase looked forward again and sighed loudly. Lowering his head in defeat, Nase held onto his chest from inside his jacket, not stepping forward at all. While paused, Nase heard the man speak again to him, warning the young adult about the process.
"You are going to have to remove your jacket and most likely your undershirt as well to avoid the risk of destroying them. You may keep the pants on, however, if you wish."
Letting out a loud 'tsk' noise as he turned his head indignantly, Nase paused for a moment before uncrossing his arms. Gritting his teeth, Nase began to take off his finger gloves and went to remove his jacket as well. As he did so, however, he lowered his head and discretely took out an item with a faint and eerie blue glow to it. It was the piece of evil mushroom! Holding it in his hand for a second, he thought to himself for a second before begrudgingly moving it to his mouth.
"(Gah, I hate mushrooms...)"
Trying not to gag as he chewed, Nase closed his eyes and breathed out heavily after he ate part of the energy mushroom.
"Is... Is he alright?"
"Pausing for this long is unnecessary at best, you know."
Clenching a fist, Nase conceded to the general's statement and continued removing his clothes until even his undershirt was placed onto the steel floor. Getting over the mix of shivering from the mushroom and the fact that he was now shirtless in front of multiple people, Nase shut his eyes forcefully and stepped into the large pod-like machine, quickly turning back to the group of scientists and noticeably wrapping his arms around his torso, both covering his chest and awkwardly prodding at his tattoo as he peered back at the group.
"S-so... What now?"
"Now, we will have to start the preparation section. It would be best if you were calmed down from this point forward. Excessive movement would not be advisable once this starts."
"Besides, you're going to be in there for a while. Covering your chest now isn't going to save anything from view if you realize."
While her bluntness made everyone around her uncomfortable, Nase noticed that it was probably best to listen to her at this point. He was just relieved that none of them seemed to notice that he sneaked his 'little snack' in. Letting his arms fall slack, Nase sighed again and looked over to the group that was preparing him for... whatever was going to happen to him. Multiple button presses later, the few scientists that were manning the control board looked up again and monitored the machine Nase was standing in, making him more and more worried for his own safety once again. Before he could speak, however, he heard a quick opening noise that sounded like his vents but much louder, and a familiar sound of liquid filling the container he was standing in. Suddenly, a transparent material came from the sides of the pod entrance and quickly slammed shut in front of him, only seconds before a breathing mask came down.
"Huh?!"
Pressing his hands against the new wall that had formed, it seemed that it was made of some transparent material like glass or something.
"This is just a protective wall to contain the fluid. The prototype should have had something like this strengthened glass, yes?"
"I guess, but this seems much different. Besides, here, instead of someone I trust doing it, it's the people who kidnapped me to do this."
Looking back, he saw that the liquid had reached his ankles now, and as the cold stuck to his pants, he turned back to the scientists, speaking directly behind the breathing mask.
"This colour... it's not the same as last time. This is a different chemical from just the nerve depressant, isn't it? "
Looking more impressed than shocked that he realized the change, the large Major leaned back onto her back leg and crossed her arms with a smug grin.
"I see that you truly are a fellow Tuffle. Yes, it is a different solution than our prototypes version, but do not worry. This one is just meant to test for your physical strength, and once it reaches about waist level and higher we can continue with this process."
Another strange response from them, making sure that Nase wasn't fully aware of what was going on. At least this time, they got some of his question answered. A test for his strength? He guessed it was to see what his body could take so the surgery would be only what he could reasonably handle. That made sense to him logically, but he felt that there was some ulterior motive that he was unaware of. It was probably Tanga's smug smile as she watched his body begin to be soaked more and more by the translucent liquid. Thinking this over, Nase realized two things as the cold liquid continued to rise over his body. 1: After this second usage, Nase would never be able to look at recuperation chamber the same again and 2: he need to get out of this pod as safely and quickly as possible. Feeling the mutant mushroom hit the bottom of his stomach while he put on the breathing mask, Nase slowly raised his arm, making a w-shape with his arms, preparing to go through with his plan.
"What... is he?"
"Pit, stand back."
Putting her arm in front of the vocal scientist, the other two stepped back quickly as Nase released a deep breath from his now submerged lungs and he tensed his arms and torso to the point that vein began popping out of his neck. Shortly following the extreme stress he put his body in, a violent green aura appeared around his body, causing him to radiate brightly, gradually building the amount of kili he was releasing from his body. Per usual, his detailed and seemingly magic dragon tattoo began to glow as if it was a power gauge, and this time, it was noticeably full. As this continued, the liquid began to bubble energetically, but other than that, it didn't seem that fazed. Strange, but Nase didn't have time to notice that.
Swaying sideways, Nase quickly released an open palm strike against the see-through curve that kept both him and the suspicious chemical he was floating inside. Except, it didn't break. It didn't even crack! After his hand left his target, he realized that what he hit couldn't have been glass; Not even tempered glass could withstand all of that pressure. Then, Nase began to feel weird as he tried to understand what happened. Fortunately, this time, Tanga felt like talking again.
"Though I had complimented your observational skills, you were much too willing to believe that your containment pod was simply done with a weak material such as glass. And also, the effect you may be experiencing is another effect of the chemical, other than its painkiller effect."
Smirking an evil smile, Tanga took a step forward as Nase gritted his teeth.
"Its second usage is a bit of a side effect, where it starts to absorb the ki of the person inside, acting especially well once the person inside tries to use or releases their ki around them."
Eyes going wide from shock, Nase realized what was happening to him and tried to retract his energy back into him. Unfortunately, however, he felt that he couldn't even do that either. Though he tried to return to zero once again, he couldn't really manage it. It was like he was drained by the very liquid itself. But strangely enough, this wasn't his first time doing this. Not even this week, for some reason. It was just like the strange restrictive technique that he was subjected to during his spar with Waka. And just like that time, he was just as determined to get through this without being fully defenceless.
"It's too late for you to struggle against the sapping effect, unfortunately, but don't worry. It is only so that you do not end up becoming feral or unstable after the transformation has finished."
"(Feral? What on earth are they planning?)"
Watching as Nase's struggling slowed down more and more, Tanga turned around to the scientists again and walked back to her original position.
"It is very unfortunate that we would have to meet this way, however. Instead of having you forced into this project, you could have joined naturally if I had time once we first met, but this mission is of high importance to us, so we have to go through with this."
Hearing this, Nase decided to try and appeal to her sense of empathy as the other scientists began to do something that Nase couldn't see.
"Wait, if you don't want to have to do this, why are you doing it?"
It was hard to speak through the mask but it seemed that his words did reach her through all of that. Sighing as she refolded her arms, Tanga looked to the ground as she spoke, seemingly upset by what he had said.
"You know that that's not how it works. It's not like I can pick and choose what missions I am assigned, and even then, if I didn't do it, someone else would in my place. There isn't really any way around it."
With this, Nase's eyes opened up larger once again in shock, but then let his face go slack as he realized that he may have finally run out of options. While Nase had expected some sort of evil positioning or whatever coming from her, but her face showed that she was upset as well, but just not as much, seeing as he was the one being affected by this.
"The machine is almost 100%, Major."
"Alright. Then we should get on with it then."
Now getting the OK from their boss, the T.S.E. researchers went back to monitoring a screen until a flash of light came from it.
"Tanga, it's finished."
"Alright then. We can start the-"
Mid-sentence, a puzzled look washed over the large general's face. Staying silent for a moment, she quickly spoke again as she didn't finish her command.
"Ah, apologies. Continue with the mission."
Obviously distracted by what she thought of, she once again paced the distance between the control desk and the pod is was affecting, this time much slower as she approached the floating figure. Nase's body was now fully submerged and hovering in the pod due to the fluid he was placed into, not even attempting to move his body anymore.
"..."
"...What is it?"
"You previously were speaking on how when you were first turned by the prototype, it was by someone you 'trust.' Our records mention that your father had perished multiple moments after your mother and in a different location. Was he perhaps the one who activated the machine?"
Tanga's voice seemed calmer than her usual intimidating tone of speech, which was very surprising to the young adult she was addressing. It may have been due to the fact of the topic being an extremely dark one, or so that the other scientists didn't hear their conversation, but Nase was glad to have met this change. Feeling horrible once again he remembered the day he left as he thought this over, Nase strained to push these feelings back to respond to her.
"It... was. He had died quickly afterwards as well, so I didn't truly know what had happened to me. Once he activated it, I saw he had passed, but I was too far under the effects of the healing drug by that time to do anything."
He lowered his head as the large redhead looked at him with a look that, while it didn't truly convey empathy in the normal sense, it had a strangely visible look of sympathy coming from her face. Nase, having seen this, began to look down to the bottom of his capsule and realized how he had become both naked in the sense he was shirtless, and how he was willingly giving up information of his life to a group that he had a large amount of distrust for, though he didn't truly their mission as this large a group. Thinking over this, Nase quickly looked up at the similarly cybernetic Tuffle with a look in his eyes of both realization and ferocity.
"Your records? You know what happened to my family? Wh-"
As his voice began to rise and his face came closer to the glass, a swift and efficient needle came from the pod and injected something into his now arched back, stopping him suddenly. Not from pain, however; That was already dealt with by the numbing chemical, but what was inside the needle was enough to stop him.

The fiery Major sighed as she watched the young warrior's consciousness slip away, looking at herself in the reflection momentarily before turning to her subordinates and talking to them with her usual menacing tone, them being already used to it.
"How long until the transformation process has been completed?"
"It will take around two hours and half until it will finish its transmutation."
"Ah, this will take a long time then..."
"Is everything satisfactory to the mission?"
"It will be... It's just the fact that I have not done an experiment on someone other than Saiyans or myself. This... is strangely new to me."
Placing her hand against her chin, she thought to herself for a while, speaking only a second after.
"This should be very interesting."

It had been a very long time since Nase had finally gone into the Neo Machine Mutant machine. The machine's high-pitched pinging echoed through the mainly silent room, almost becoming unnoticeable to those inside due to familiarity. The dirty metal floor which had been paced over multiple times now had a large open space in it as the main person there had already gone unconscious a long time ago. Now that the room was only populated by TSE workers, it had fallen almost completely silent as they continued on their work. This near-perfect silence was broken by the voice of the young male scientist that Tanga usually worked with.
"The transformation will be finished in 5 minutes, Tanga."
"Ah, thank you Pit, we should be able to finish this mission in a moment, then."
"He doesn't seem to look any different at the moment."
"That was mentioned by the inventors, actually. Apparently, the machine can't fully finish the procedure without the full time having been completed. And this process also continues once he is released into the open air. The visual transformation should be finished at that point."
Listening to this insight from a superior, they both turned to the third scientist with them, who was one of the inventors themself. Realizing they were being stared at, the researcher looked back at them and raised a shrugging expression back to them.
"I'm not sure, I'm just the junior researcher here."
Shaking her head, Tangerine put down a stack of papers from her hand and slowly walked towards the command table that was being used, half out of boredom, and half out of intrigue. She hadn't been given any research or science-based tasks at all for a long time and because of her recent revival from her cryostasis had happened a whole twenty years ago, she wanted to see what technological advancements had been made in her absence.
Well, it did look interesting. The technology, much more advanced than anything you could find outside of a government facility, had a full way to monitor Nase's body, mind and even his elusive ki signature by just having him inside the pod while it was on. Simultaneously, as the tireless needles and rearranging machinery worked on his body, the brigadier-general looked away from the desk for a moment before seeing a strange light coming from the corner of her eye.
"Eh?"
Shifting her body to look at it, she noticed that it as coming from the machine, a light that seemed... almost not real, seeing as no one else reacted to it, nor did it seem to cast shadow onto anything. Strange. Looking back to her subordinates, she wanted to say something, but went against this as she believed that it wasn't important as the were close enough to just finishing the process by now. That may have been a mistake on her side, however.
"Um, General? Did the inventors talk about a power level increase showing near the end?"
"WHAT?!"
Looking back at the transformation pod, she activated her optical scanner while looking at it and noticed that it's power level scanner did start increasing once it was aimed correctly. His power level was increasing! Taken aback by this, her genius mind took time to try and think about what was happening when she looked back at the bright light that originally caught her eye, and noticed its strange placement. It was at his stomach, as if it was where something he had eaten had reached since the time he went into the capsule. Did he... take something before the transformation?
Thinking hard on whether or not to do something, she heard Cherry calling her attention again.
"Tanga, there's something strange happening now. The pod is saying it that it can't continue due to an issue, what should we do?"
"Stay calm, it may be just a typical abnormality for us to work out. It should be fine."
As she said that, however, her statement was quickly disproven. The power level she was scanning had been charged to the point that a visible aura was being formed around his body. He was still in the energy-sapping liquid, so he shouldn't have been able to do something like that without an extreme amount of force, that he shouldn't have been able to use. What was this man doing?! Tanga at this point was ready to prepare an attack when she saw something that caused the bio-weapon to freeze. A single, open, yellow eye.
Fear-inducing imagery aside, Tanga was aware that Nase was awake, and no matter what that meant, she knew she would have to be on guard. She was not told what to expect what would happen once the process had finished, but it hadn't even finished yet! After a second long standoff, the yellow glow that appeared from his eyes was slowly being overtaken by a red light that seemed to be coming from his body.
"Is that another form of ki forming?"
This was the last thing that Tanga was able to say before the large explosion occurred. As a ton of smoke and bits of broken metal was launched into the air around them, Tanga did her best to push the smog out of her face as while she was able to defend herself perfectly, she had no knowledge of the wellbeing of her juniors. Luckily, once the dark smoke had dissipated, she could see that the three that were there with her had all ducked under the table beforehand. Looking back to the epicentre of the explosion, Tanga noticed that, even through the smoke that was still flowing out, she could tell that something had changed with the boy that was previously being experimented on. She noticed that part of his fingers had become visible through the haze, and with just that much, it was obvious something had happened.
His fingers were pale, and seemed to have some sort of red markings to them that stretched up over his whole body. Her assessment must have been correct, as his body was nowhere near this colour, nor able to produce this much energy after the power drain. As the smoke fully dissipated, she saw the figure that had made such a mess in the first place, and her eyes widened from the awe it put upon her. It wasn't just his hand that had drastically changed in colour once he came from the open air, but his entire body had transformed as well. The muscular form of Nase had changed drastically from its time in the machine, now changed from a vibrant brown to an eerie white, only separated by irregular streaks of red and black that ran along his body. Even his hair had bleached white by it!
Waiting a moment to see what he would do, Tanga stood up from her low position, but still kept the form of her battle-ready stance. She would end up waiting a while longer as what used to be called Nase began looking at its body, obviously fascinated with his new appearance. While he was doing this, Tanga looked behind him and saw the shattered remains of the capsule that he was previously inside. It was undoubtedly broken, but the fact that the extremely high tech device had been turned into scrap by one move made Tanga wonder how much of Nase had been transformed by this... and how much of this was his own ability. Turning back to the mutant, Tangerine saw something that she was the least prepared for after seeing the damage that was caused. A smirk.
"What's... going on?"
First starting as a slight chuckle, Nase had devolved into manic laughter that kept becoming louder and louder as time progressed. Not understanding what to do, she kept her position, still acting overly cautious due to the uncertainty. Her scanner's meter was still going up at this time, still trying to work out his max ki output before he attempted it. but, by this point, the laughter stopped. Now with a permanent sneer on his, the mutant Nase looked directly at the Brigadier, showing off his glowing eyes and newfound red mark going across one of them.
"I am growing tired of waiting. If you are planning on attacking us, then hurry on with it."
That may have been not the best idea, Tanga realized. If Nase was somehow turned into some rule-following monster, he wasn't going to do anything until she specifically said anything, and now, all of that energy would be targeted at her. But she had already geared herself up to battle already, right? And either way, it had been a good while since the two fought, and she had to leave anyways to avoid police noticing her. This time, there were no such issues. Raising an arm in a strange, obvious manner, the mutant Nase obviously heard what she said and was readying himself to do so.
"Hmph, very well."
Activating a hormone in her body thanks to her own enhancements, Tanga's muscle mass and overall size increased by 20% as she pointed a clenched fist towards her target.
"As you wish."
