Appearance: Krauss is a demon standing at 6'2, he is not that tall by demon standards, but he still towers over most people in mortal realms.
His pale skin makes him stand out even more and his red eyes add to that. He alway wears a black robe that swirls around his form like shadows. It opens up near his arms, and instantly patches itself when damaged. Aside from that he wear a metal-looking gauntlet and a metal-looking mask. But if someone were to investigate they are not metal at all, they are instead condensed shadows.
Personality:
Wild but controlled. Krauss loves to toy with his enemies and sometimes even those who would call him his friends. But when things get serious all that drops from his demeanor and he switches to just using everything he can find to get someone to mess up even a little; taking his sweet time to actually get close while simultaneously creating an ever growing opening for himself to use. When he feels he can get someone to do something he wants he is very willing to act different in order to get it and sometimes it gets him into situations he doesn't like, but in the end he feels that the payoff is worth it. But if he doesn't; prepare to be discarded like yesterdays paper.
History:
Alexander has no history. At least non he knows of. He knows he's a demon and that is where his knowledge ends, he doesn't know anything of any relations, doesn't know his parents or if he even has them. For all he knows he has been birthed from the shadows that make up the human race; yes, humanity. Not Saiyans, not Namekians, only humans. From early on he has learned to hate them, and as much as he likes to toy with everything alive, he bears a hatred for them as he thinks they are the reason for his weaknesses.
His days are filled with toying with people, making them feel fear. There is no real reason behind it, but more often than not he has been asked either directly or indirectly to mess with someone personally, or to mess with an entire company. And he sees it as nothing but a way to have something to do, and to torture some humans in the process. There have been moments where he has found that he was up against something not human, be it an android or something else, he would find ways to prevail, to make it feel fear.
There have been those rare individuals however who felt nothing of the sort. But in those cases there was still the fact that he possessed more than enough power to physically harm anyone, though his preference still lie at mental harm.
RP Sample:
''-were we doing here again?''
''The alarm was tripped, just make sure it was a false alarm or something and we'll be back eating doughnuts all night long.'' The voice over the walky talky said. ''But on the off chance you do find something worthy of note, keep me out of it. I ain't paid enough to keep this place safe.''
''..yeah, not to mention this place is creepy as hell in the dark.'' The guard who found himself on the grounds of the offices whispered. His flashlight shone through the cubicles but didn't reveal much besides a great amount of dust on the floor, and also stray wrappers of all kinds of candy. ''I'm not seeing anything noteworthy up here.'' The guard spoke into his communication device. ''Are you seeing anything worth the time on the cameras?'' He expectantly asked, as he realized quickly that the alarm 26 stories up wouldn't have gone off as a false alarm when the ones on lower floors hadn't gone off at all.
''I see plenty of fun things to play with..'' The voice on the other end spoke back, but seemed to have changed quite a bit halting the guard on the other end.
''What?''
''Can't wait to come down there and play.'' It spoke once more, but then, as quick as it appeared it seemed to have gone again and the other voice took over again. ''-all in all I ain't seeing anything worth our time up here. I suggest you come back for now. Coffee's brewing.'' And with a click the line went dead. Obviously he wasn't expecting there to be any answer.
Looking at the device in his hand he wondered exactly what the hell he just heard. He wasn't just making things up, was he? But eventually he decided to ignore it because that guy up there was probably watching a movie of some sorts and the audio bled through for a bit, either that or the thunder in the air messed with their channels for a moment. It had been quite hot during the day, so that could have been a viable option.
Either way, the simple guard decided to take the stairs up while looking around for anything suspicious during his walk up to his buddy. The idea of coffee made him ignore the odd, moving shadows on the walls of the stairwell as he walked, as the light from his flashlight illuminated every single step, as well as the path in front of him. Now, this guard had always been proud of not getting scared at all, so when he reached the top and there was a strike of thunder that had the same sound as a knife hitting a back he only paused for a moment, not wanting to say he was scared even if only for a mere moment. He stood still for a moment with his eyes closed, which he quickly opened when he felt something brushing past his shoulder.
''Are you sure you're not seeing anything up there?'' He asked.
''Oh no, he's not seeing anything anymore.'' The same, dark voice as before rang out as screams were heard in the background.
Taking a moment before reacting, the guard started by throwing the walky talky to the ground as he began running to where his buddy would be. It wasn't far, in fact, he could already see it and the way that his buddy was.. sitting normally while snacking and reading a comic..
''How did you- when did you-'' He got out in between breathing that had been more heavy than he would like to admit. To say that this weird voice hadn't made an impact on him would be a lie, and it almost seemed like this phenomenon was toying with him. But at the same time, as his buddy turned in his chair and put down the comic to look at him while chewing on his peanut butter, he had been the only one to hear it. And the voice couldn't have been his either as he had his mouth full of the one thing that made talking difficult.
Swallowing the peanut butter he tilted his head in confusion. ''How did I what?'' He asked. ''I've been here the entire time, watching you play around with your flashlight and making weird voices.'' The monitoring guard said as his thumb pointed at one of the cameras behind him. His buddy instinctively lookied at it and noticed the outline of a body on one of them, causing him to step back a bit as he pointed at the screen.
''Th-th-there! Look!'' He said, but once the words left his mouth the camera skipped a frame and there was nothing anymore, and that happened to be when the other guard looked at it. ''I swear there was just-''
''I know there was.'' The other guard said, turning back as there was a red glint in his eyes for a brief moment before vanishing, and the guard then held his forehead with his hand. ''Boy, no more coffee for me this late at night.'' He said as if it was a mere headache, though his buddy had seen something very different if only for a split second. ''I'll stick with soda.''
By now the other 'never scared' guard was looking like a mental patient and stepped closer to the other. ''You.. what just happened?'' He asked, his hands moving to touch at the face of his buddy, who was visibly confused at this all and swatted his hands away.
''The hell man?'' He said, seemingly over his headache and everything that came with it. ''We're just here to do a job, stop freaking me out.'' He then took a brief moment and finally turned back to his monitors. ''Look, we gotta finish this thing, but I also think you should go home for the night, I think you need rest.'' As he said that, the monitor he wasn't watching and his buddy was flashed black for a moment and all that popped out was a pair of red eyes, before the screen went back to showing a view of the empty cubicles. ''Overworked or something.'' He sighed as he then turned once more in his chair. ''Look, I know you've got a lot on your plate, but that's no reason to kill yourself working. I'm sure the misses would like you home a bit more as well, and you're obviously not at ease here, so go home. I'll finish up here.'''
He turned back to the screens and his comic, waving his friend off quite weakly as he took another bite of his snack. ''I.. guess you're right..'' The guard said, losing sanity with every second. ''But I can't.'' He shook his head, stepped forward and pointed at the camera he had just seen malfunction. ''I'm convinced something is here, man.''
A sigh was heard. ''Yeah, okay, maybe there is. But I'm more than enough on my own. I can take care of it, whatever it is.''
''Sure, you're a big deal and all, but don't you think it's odd?'' The guard spoke. ''Odd that only this floor had an alarm go off? I mean.. it might even be too much for you!'' He said it like it was something h eknew for a fact, but somehow felt himself still unable to accept it. ''I mean.. I don't know man.. maybe you're right and I just need to go home, sleep this off like a bad dream.'' The moment that was said one of the monitors flashed a black screen for a moment, and when the screen came back and both guards were paying attention to it they would see the outline of a figure with red eyes and a pale face, though only a small part of said face was visible.
''Dream..?'' The red eyes got even closer to the camera. ''No no no, my deary. Not a dream. This is all real.. very real.'' The guards looked at each other and opened their mouths to speak or scream, but their sounds were then all overpowered by the alarm going off one floor below them.
The guard who had been ready to go home looked at his buddy, visibly shaken through all this. ''That was close! Y-you should go check it out.'' He said, obviously scared.
''That alarm is supposed to be a silent one.'' He said in an attempt to change the subject. The next course of action was simple though; since that guard had some formal training in the martial arts under his belt and was able to use ki, he was supposed to go check it out. The only issue was was that whatever he felt was so frightening, almost like constantly opening up a creaking door in an abandoned mansion at night. It obviously started to get to him as he felt the energy signature move. ''W-why did it make sound?''
''I don't know but I'm out of here!'' With that guard now broken despite being so proud of not being scared of anything, he ran out of the small office they were both in with the monitors going dark one by one, forcing the other guard to step out too. He wiped some crumbs from his shirt and stepped in front of the fleeing, and scared guard.
A hand was put on his shoulder, and a calming shot of energy was sent through in the hopes of calming the guy down enough to get him to actually do something about this energy that was closing in on them. In truth the one with the energy manipulation skills was quite envious of the one who couldn't sense the impending darkness. To be ignorant could be a good thing, sometimes. ''Snap out of it!'' The guard said as he squeezed the shoulder. ''I need you, we can do this if we work together!'' He added, looking at the nearby stairwell as if he was expecting something.
The other guard took notice of this, and followed suit by looking at the staircase briefly, before looking back as he slowly calmed down, yet felt uneasy still. ''Can't you.. sense this kind of shit?'' The panic in his voice was slowly coming back, and in the moments passing he didn't get an answer he kept looking at the staircase and back, growing more frantic with every second.
''I.. can sense this, yes.'' The other guard replied, still looking at the staircase, fear now growing in his eyes as the darkness grew closer. It was like a mobile black hole moving through the floors shrouded in darkness. ''Be happy you can't.'' He added in a whisper. ''..it might be the last thing you feel.'' Since all he felt was darkness being surrounded by more darkness he could do nothing but stay close to his friend who had no idea of this thing.
''Oh hell, if it even has you scared I'm useless!'' The man said, prying himself away from his buddy and stumbling backwards a few feet, putting more space between him and the staircase. ''I'm not going to die a useless death!'' He said as he turned around to run away, and got as far as the elevator behind them both as he noticed a sword sticking through his abdomen.
''No.. not useless.'' Krauss said as he finally revealed himself, emerging from the darkness surrounding the area and revealing his pale skin, red eyes and black cloak. He rattled with every step he took; the sword did that as it was attached to chains on his arm. The guard was able to turn around for a mere moment and looked at the demon.
''Well fuck.''
The other guard watched his friend fall to the ground with the rattling of chains, and then turned back to the demon who had closed the distance and was now looking straight into his eyes.
''I am going to have such fun with you..'' He said, willing his sword to come back to him as it dispersed for a moment and then quickly reappeared. ''..such fun.''
