Clove Tea was going for a walk to go shopping for clothes, along the way she decided to take a rest on a brick wall to enjoy the view of the metropolis, until a Capsule Corp salesman approached her after he recognized her as the Champion of the Women’s West City World Martial Arts tournament. Congratulating her for winning and effectively offering her to test drive their fastest model. After looking at the gorgeously printed catalogue book spread of the vehicle in question, she held an interest in the latest model of hovercraft vehicle Capsule Corp had to offer, she had forgotten about what she set out to do the more the salesman explained.
There was a special closed facility, with a track, that magnetized the car to the track to prevent it from going off road. It was no different from a closed circuit bumper car experience and after getting used to the speed of the car a second track was available without the magnetic road. Despite being able to fly, she found it relaxing to have a vehicle take her places, and if everything the salesperson said was true it sounded like a thrilling ride.
The tea princess followed the salesman to the first track, inside a massive metal building located in the warehouse district of West City, the metal doors had the Capsule Corp symbol painted on, upon arrival a human female in a capsule corp racing fire suit gave her a clipboard with papers to sign consenting that she was here to test drive on her own will and understood the dangers of operating a vehicle. Clove signed all the documents, taking the time to read the forms a few times, and then returned it to the woman. A bag containing a brand new fire suit was offered to her, Clove declined it explaining it would wrinkle her clothes if she wore it, and she also declined the helmet because she did not want to ruin her long luscious brunette hair.
“If there is any incident, I can use my ability to fly, and avoid the danger if necessary. According to the documents I am not held accountable for any damages to the vehicle or the premises. I hope that everything functions accordingly, nonetheless.”

There was something about West City that made Fenrir excited. Perhaps because it was nothing like what he was used to? Even Oolong, whilst a metropolis of decent size, didn't have buildings like those in West City. The ones in Oolong were smaller, or at least not as tall. They were also built in an architectural style that anyone in West City would call either ancient or niche; something practiced by a particularly small group of architects, mostly for restaurants or small businesses that draw in the eye using the exquisite architecture, for example. The architecture in West City was more "modern" one could say. There were office buildings that were shaped like massive domes, half bubbles that loomed tall over the street. Others were, oddly enough, shaped like massive lollipops with a large round section of building set atop a tall spire of a structure that appeared to reach high up towards the sky as if reaching for the clouds themselves, reaching for the gods above, rather arrogantly too.
The people, at least, were kind enough. Was he known here? He was, apparently. As soon as he stepped into West City and began to walk down the sidewalk, his hands stuffed in his pockets, he was immediately approached by a group of young women who giggled as they stood in front of him.
"Can I help you lot with anything?" He asked politely to the group of young women; they couldn't be older than seventeen years old he theorized.
"Excuse me, but is this you?" One of the girls, a mousy looking young woman with big round glasses that were sliding down her nose even as she spoke, held up a poster. He was on the poster, dressed in a butler uniform, holding up two trays of food, one in each hand, a bit grin on his face. It was a photo that he didn't recall posing for but he did recognize the uniform. That was when he was working at the Peach Pit Butler Cafe. Apparently the advertisements had made their way all the way to West City?
"Yes, that would be me." He looked at the photo, stroking his chin in thought.
"Do you mind if we get your autograph?" The girl pushed her glasses up her nose, looking up at the man expectantly.
"I don't see why not." He nodded as the girls squealed and rummaged through their bag for a pen.
Off to the side, someone had caught sight of the group, and peered over. It was a man who was looking for talent and he spotted a familiar face. He walked across the street and over to the group of young women and Fenrir, as he finished signing his name onto the photograph, and the girls squealed with joy.
"Excuse me, sir." The man attempted to gain his attention.
"Eh? Do you want an autograph too?" Fenrir peered over at the man; he was nothing to look at, he was shorter than Fenrir - then again a lot of people were shorter than Fenrir - at about five foot five inches tall, nothing too remarkable. He had a pair of square glasses and somewhat of a paunch. He wore a suit.
"No, I mean, eh, no I'm good. I was wondering if I could get your help with something." The man peered up at the light haired wolf.
"Hm, I guess I don't mind. I'm not particularly busy at the moment. What do you need help with then?"
"Follow me," The man motioned to Fenrir and follow him he did. As they walked, the man talked back to Fenrir, saying his name was Zan and he needed test drivers for a new car that their company was working on. And what better test driver than the face of HATCHET? Oh, so he knew about the advertisement campaign, Fenrir questioned, to which the man nodded and explained he's a long time HATCHET customer. And to see one of the spokespeople for the brand was kind of exciting for him.
"You've been in several advertisements, and your face is instantly recognizable across several areas, at least for people who partake in those products, and trust me, I know plenty of HATCHET users."
They walked across the city towards a large building and entered. The man led him across the lobby, past several doors, down several halls, and soon they were arriving at a facility with an enclosed track,"So what's this?" Fenrir looked around the area, though he did spot someone that felt familiar to him.
"This is where you'll be testing our vehicle. Oh, it appears one of my colleagues found another person to test the car. Good, we need multiple testers to drive the car, make sure its up to snuff." Zan led Fenrir over to Clove. "Well, I brought another potential driver." He motioned to Fenrir and smiled, rather proud. "All he's got to do now is sign a few documents and he'll be good to go."
"Small problem," Fenrir raised a hand, catching the man's attention as he turned to look at the man.
"Yes, what is it?" He questioned.
"I don't know how to drive, exactly," He confessed.

Clove turned at the familiar voice of Fenrir, who helped her develop a special dessert at Daruma Tea & Coffee, and while he taught her how to make a chocolate mocha sweet it seemed she could return the favor by teaching him how to drive. With a smile, she adjusted her yellow brimmed black hat, and gave a slight head bow.
“Good Afternoon, Ferir-san,” Clove spoke up, “I see you’re still in West City and have an interest in the latest Capsule Corp hovercraft. Allow me to be your driving instructor. It would be my pleasure to be the one to teach you. Follow me.”
The tea princess had a certain stride in her step, the white pleated shorts fluttered along with the white ruffled v-neck collar of her black knit midriff shirt, and her long hair swayed until she came to a stop of the massive closed circuit track. A white car remained parked on the track next to a black car, neither had tires, and the craft was on a set of landing gear pontoons. Crimson eyes looked at Fenrir over from head to toe for a second and she walked up to the white car, her heels sounded off on the metal surface of the smooth metal surface. Clove reached over to grab the handle on the driver’s side door, which extruded on its own from the motion, she clicked the door open, and gestured with her free hand elegantly for the wolf deity to get in.
“I opted not to wear a firesuit or helmet, with the power level I am reading from you, in case of an emergency I am sure you will remain unscathed. It is just as well since they are going to be filming this as a part of their research. We can still look our best on film.” She glanced over to the hovercraft for a moment and then back at him, “I figured the white one would match your outfit a bit more, make yourself comfortable, and we can begin the driving lesson.”
The woman in the blue capsule corp fire suit rushed over to hand over a clipboard to Fenrir explaining that he must sign the documents before driving. As soon as he took the time to fill the necessary documents the rest of the employees began to set up the track, massive ceiling lights illuminated the track, there were set up to maneuver the hovercraft at different inclines, and there were two loop-da-loops at the bottom of the steeper inclined track.
“How are you feeling about this? Are you nervous at all?” A sly smile formed across her pink rose painted lips, the cap on her head cast a shadow above her nose, and her crimson red eyes glimmered through the shade. There was an obvious curiosity to his answer as she stood by holding the door for him. “Technology has been evolving for hundreds of years, West City is one the most advanced cities in the world, and it is constantly adapting to new technological changes. Quite different from Oolong City, which has remained frozen in time, embracing history over change.”
After a beat she observed Fenrir and continued, “Have you been to little vegeta in Oolong city? Did you know there is also a little vegeta district here?”
Little Vegeta in Oolong City was the least developed, the saiyans there were all unruly thugs, their gruff outward appearance kept most tourists away in their corner of the city, and there was heavy crime there unlike Little Vegeta in west city. Perhaps living the old lifestyle was the reason the western land saiyans resorted to crime in comparison to the saiyans of the central lands. While it seemed like an innocent question, she actually wanted his opinion, she had every desire to learn the public opinion on the matter; especially from someone who was familiar with both cities.

The sibling of the Tea Princess was just as beautiful as ever; the wolf had to admit that she was a sight for sore eyes. Her perfect figure, long hair, and her dark eyes made her stand out among all the people in West City. There was just something deliciously feral about her, or better put, something un-tamed? Something wild? Something ...fierce? Well, he wasn't good at descriptors. She was beautiful in every sense that he could think of. She looked like the type of woman who could stand in a room full of men and not be intimidated in the slightest - and why would she be? She could crush a room full of men with her eyes closed and both hands tied behind her back. It was a very appealing quality. Plus, she had a swagger in her step that Fenrir could appreciate.
"To be honest, I was just walking through the city, trying to find something to do," He admitted, following after the woman as he could not help but be partially hypnotized by her swaying hips, but also could not stop looking at the area around them, being somewhat impressed by all of the technological artistry that was going on around them. The place was a technophile's paradise; albeit, Fenrir was not one. He was just impressed by everything around him since...there was nothing like this back home. His village had been unimpressive back then, and he was sure it was unimpressive now. The biggest building that the entire village housed was a temple. Now that he thinks about it, he probably should go visit sooner or later. He made a mental note to take a trip up north, visit home, and meander to that temple.
Their hosts were following along behind the two as they leisurely made their way to the two vehicles. There was one that was pure white, white as the snow of the icy north, and one was pitch black. It made the wolf think of Chess pieces.
"Oh? I would not mind some driving lessons; I've never really driven anything before. I usually just walk everywhere. Or fly if the desire strikes me. But, while I have seen people driving before, I've never done it myself. I never saw the appeal of it; you can't enjoy nature if you're zooming past it too quickly. Though, I guess there is a certain level of convenience, comfort, and air conditioning," that last one was a bit of a joke but he grinned anyway.
His boots were a stark contrast to her heels. Her heels tapped and clicked softly on the floor, tapping out a comfortable rhythm as she walked, whilst his boots thumped and clomped against the floor with each step he took. The nearly seven foot tall man towered over the hosts as they followed along behind him, and when they reached the two cars, he could not help but walk around them both, assessing their appearance, "Oh, so this is what these hover cars look like? Interesting," He ran a hand along the smooth surface as he walked around to the driver's side. "The firesuit and helmet wouldn't suit you, dear Princess. Plus, I have utmost confidence in your ability to instruct. And I must have some confidence in their car," he peered over at the two hosts. One of whom rushed over to hand over a clipboard.
He peered over the papers and took the pen that was held out for him.
"Hm, paperwork, bureaucratic red tape. It's everywhere you go." He said with a joking laugh and then he dropped his John Hancock one every single page he was pointed to sign and also dropped his initials on at least two dozen different locations before the woman was satisfied and took the clipboard and pen back.
Once the paperwork was dealt with, he returned to the white car and then slid into the driver's seat. The seat was comfortable. They were leather bucket seats and, he had to admit, the interior of the car was quite a sight. It was decked out in leather upholstery - the real stuff, not that plastic fake garbage that many car manufacturers use - and the dashboard of the car was littered with buttons and screens and dials. Now that he looked at it all, it felt as if he were in a space ship rather than in a car.
"Nervous?" He had heard that part of the woman's question and he cleared his throat as he looked at all of the dials and buttons and bright screens, "Somewhat, yes," He hated to admit it, but this was all making him more than a little uneasy. "I can fight a hundred men, naked, in the snow, with only a club but this car terrifies me."
Then she mentioned something called Little Vegeta, it was somewhere in Oolong City. And whilst he had stayed in Oolong for some time, he had never heard of this Little Vegeta place.
"Hm, no, I've never been there. Should I go drop in for a visit? Anything there that's worthwhile?"

“Well, a test drive on a track like this is a promising venture, for someone looking for something to do.” Clove put emphasis on the last word, as he took the time to sign the documents to be permitted to drive, she watched his tall frame get into the driver’s car seat, and she smiled slyly.
“Oh, I was only curious if you have been to either place, and if you had an opinion as to why they are so vastly different. It also gives you something to think about if you are nervous but let us begin, shall we?”
When they met for the first time at her place of business, they both kept up appearances to focus on the dessert project, but her first impression of him was how attractive he physically was. The choice of clothing left little for the imagination and she was certain she caught his gaze a few times while they were working in the kitchenette of Daruma Tea & Coffee. Much like the wolf deity’s wild escapades, she was interested in a similar venture, with the exception that it was limited to people who she held an interest in that proved they were worthy of her time and affections.
“The first step when driving a car is safety first.” The demoness pulled the belt buckles attached to the seat, taking the time to buckle him in, with a x-cross padded harness to keep his upper body against the seat properly, and she slowly pulled on a flexible metal tube that extruded out from the side of the seat to make a makeshift lap bar; securely clicking it on a attachment on the other side of the seat. A cylindrical foam pad with a slit down the side was then placed over the bar to add a softer cushion against his upper thighs. The setup was no different from a roller coaster seat. She gracefully placed her left hand on his knee, using her right hand to adjust the seat automatically for his height, as soon as the bend of his knee under her palm was further and below the steering wheel to a comfortable position she stopped the seat from moving. In a single glance, she looked into his red eyes with a smile, and straightened up to close the driver's seat door.
Clove took flight to hover behind Fenrir’s right shoulder and spoke almost into his ear. “The second step is you need to adjust your mirrors so you can see behind you, the controls for it are on the door for the side mirrors, and the rear view mirror on the windshield is adjusted manually for your peripheral.”
After a beat, she waited for him to adjust the mirrors on his own, and then continued. “Next is understanding how to start and operate the hovercraft.” She reached over and pointed at the petals in front of his feet. “Your left foot should rest comfortably on the platform there, you will need it to control the clutch which is the pedal closest to it, your right foot will control the break which is in the middle, and the RPM pedal on the right side which allows you to change gears. Now, before I go into how to start the vehicle, I want you to practice pressing the pedals first, so you can feel comfortable using them and then I will instruct you on the rest.”
Clove glanced over to the rear view mirror to meet his eyes and waited for him to do as instructed, she hoped he was a quick learner. While he was good at baking, she was curious if he was skilled with the latest technology after a single lesson, but they were not finished yet. It was a lot to go over for a beginner and she wanted to make sure he understood the first part before moving to the second.
“Now hold the steering wheel, with both hands, for a strong grip. When you want to start the vehicle, your left foot must press on the clutch pedal to the metal as they often call it, and your right foot on the brake pedal in the same fashion to prevent it from moving before you’re ready. Hit the start engine button on the console, after you release the emergency brake on the central console, between the driver and passenger seat. Practice the petals and pretend you’re hitting the buttons to get a sense of movement from it. Once you are adjusted to moving your feet while the vehicle remains turned off, I can teach you how to control the stick.”

"Hm, I guess it would keep me distracted," He mused on the idea and he nodded, "So, what's Little Vegeta about? What exactly is over there? Anything that makes it worth visiting? If it's got something fun, I wouldn't mind hopping on by and getting a taste of what they have to offer." He sat comfortably in the seat, enjoying how it almost wrapped around him, held him snugly and comfortably. It was nice. He would not mind having a chair like this everywhere, in his room, for instance. It would be nice to have. The two hosts were standing off to the side, he could see them somewhat fidgeting; they appeared nervous. Especially because Fenrir had admitted his lack of driving skill.
Well, it didn't matter. The paperwork didn't even list him as responsible in case of an accident; they were testing out the vehicle, its performance, its capabilities, and whether or not it was ready for the market. They were testing it for bugs and glitches. So if something were to happen to the care, it was in the company's best interest to keep quiet about it rather than drag the whole incident through the mud and try to pin the blame on the two test drivers.
Now began the actual driving part of their impromptu driving school; the attractive, and flirtatious, Tea Princess leaned over him and began to buckle him in, all the while he sat back, comfortable, in his seat. Everything she did was watched closely. He watched her buckle him in, slide down the safety bar, get everything ready, and also took note of her hand placed idly on his knee. That was kind of hard to ignore, not that he wanted to.
It was quite welcome, in fact, and a small smile crossed his face as he watched the woman buckle him in and explain that she would be instructing him on proper driving procedures. What made this whole thing infinitely more entertaining to him is the fact that she did appear to be serious; she was not pulling his chain or faking or joking with him about teaching him how to drive. She wasn’t just throwing herself atop him to flirt. She was being serious and was going to make sure he learned to drive, even if ny using flirtatious methods.
“Jeez, that’s a lot of safety precautions,” He watched all of the straps and belts and the lap bar that was placed on him with mild bemusement. After all, she had decided to forgo the firesuit since at her power level, and at his, even if they did crash and burn, the fire and the crash would probably not harm either of them. They were no mere Earthlings, weak humans susceptible to death by crushing in a car accident. Their bodies were built tougher than that.
Now that she got him prepared, good and snug as a bug in a rug, wrapped up in belts and lap bars, the second step of the driving instruction could begin. That would be the mirrors. He peered over at the side view mirrors; they read OBJECTS IN MIRROR ARE CLOSER THAN THEY APPEAR, which almost made him think of a joke he forgot about a long time ago but could not quite fully remember it. Still, in the mirror he could see the woman's torso, from her waist up to her neck, a good view of the woman's chest in her current outfit and he nodded appreciatively at the mirror. Thanks, mirror, I needed that good view.
Still, she explained how the mirrors work and how to adjust them, and after her momentary explanation, he reached over and fiddled with the side view mirror controls to get them adjusted.
It did take quite a few moments, mostly because he had never before worked such a contraption, so his fingers fiddled with the controls for a few moments. In the meantime, the mirror turned this way and that way as he attempted to align the mirrors properly. It wasn't as difficult as he believed it would be, it just took him a few moments to get accustomed to the control mechanism of the mirrors. Still, once he was finished adjusting the mirrors, he gave the woman a good thumbs up.
"Alright, I 'm good, I got the mirrors set up." All he then had to wait for was for the next bit of information to be laid upon him; which, in this case, were the various different pedals at his feet, including the gas pedal, the clutch, and the brake pedal. The clutch, apparently, was very important, as it allowed the tall man to shift between gears and he had to learn how to do so in order to drive.
The wolf moved his feet onto the two pedals, one onto the brake pedal and the other onto the clutch, which he kept pressed down all the way as instructed. He peered over at the emergency brake and he grabbed it and released the emergency brake. He moved his foot from one pedal to the next, brake, gas, brake, alternating between one pedal to the next and back again as he got used to the feeling.
Once he did that, he started the engine. The hover car started up with a nice throaty grumbling purr and a soft vibration that swept through the whole body of the car. It was different but not unappealing. "Oh, this is kind of nice." He gripped the steering wheel with both hands and leaned back.
As he did this, leaning back and getting comfortable. “Ok, I think I’m slowly getting the hang of this.”

Clove cast her long lashes down, there was an obvious solemn silence on how she felt about saiyans, and then she found her courage to answer. “I heard from my sister that you helped her deal with the devil’s cooks gang. Little Vegeta in Oolong City operates in the same way, it is ruled by saiyan gangs, and has been over the years. It is so dramatically different from Little Vegeta in West City, I wanted to know your opinion on what the cause might be, perhaps we can go visit these locations together? Starting with the one here in West City. I am sure there is something fun for us to do there.”
The lesson proceeded smoothly, the tea princess was surprised he got the hang of it so quickly, even going as far as starting the hover car. The engine roared, it was powerful, the seats vibrated in response followed the vehicle lifting off the track to hover in place as long as he kept his foot on the brake.
“You can release the clutch and the hover car will remain stationary as long as the stick is in neutral. In order to move the vehicle forward, you need to change it for first gear, you can only change gears when you put your foot down on the clutch. You need to always ease off the clutch pedal before hitting any pedal, this includes the brake, you have to slowly release the clutch to make a complete stop while pressing down the brake.” Clove reached over his shoulder and held his right hand, slipping her slender fingers between his, while holding it over the stick. “There are six gears, as this is common with a sports vehicle like this one, it is numbered clearly on the knob, to go into first gear you shift the stick from neutral to the upwards position which is indicated by 1, to switch to second gear you must switch quickly from 1 to the bottom which is indicated as 2. You must do the same vise-versa to switch down or up in gears. A manual transmission vehicle can reach faster velocities than an automatic if you know what you’re doing. You can also skip gears from 1 to 6 if you so desire by shifting it to the appropriate position for it on the stick.”
Clove released his hand and flew over to the black hover car, she still needed to secure herself in it, and test drive it herself but she simply remained seated.
“This circuit does have a loop da loop, the track has been marked to notify you of the gear and speed you should be on before making the rotation around, you need to give the engine enough RPM to match the indicated speed to make the loop. Go ahead and shift the gear to 1, if you make a mistake when releasing the clutch it will stall, so it is perfectly safe for a person learning to drive, compared to learning how to drive an automatic transmission. If I did well in teaching you today, I trust that you can accomplish this, so take the hover car for a spin around the track, attempt the double loops, and then realign the car with mine so that we can race. Our mission is to test drive these hover cars at the same time.”
Clove offered Fenrir a V-for victory with her fingers, to motivate him to carry on his own, and she smiled expectantly at him that he would be able to accomplish going around the track once. As soon as he took off she would take the time to put on the belts in the same way she had done for the wolf deity, adjusting the mirrors, and then waiting for him to finish the track once before they raced each other. Her sister had spoken about him? Well, Juniper had been the one to suggest Fenrir to help Clove with the advertisement for Daruma coffee; she had even asked Fenrir to go help her sibling. It was why he showed up with several desserts for them to choose from - if he recalled, he had taken with him several Tiramisu Charlotte, an Opera Cake, and a Chocolate Mocha Castella cake, all of which were made to be judged by a small panel to determine which would make the best dessert for the advertisement - and that was how he had ultimately first met Clove. Still, it came as a surprise that Juniper would speak about him to her sibling. It was flattering, however. He couldn't help but grin a bit, "Oh? She spoke of me to you? I thought the most she said about me was that I could whip up something tasty in the kitchen." He said as a tease, "Hm, yes, I did help her deal with the Devil's Cookbook Gang. They weren't much of a gang though. They had numbers, I'll give them that much. But, the amount of fighting ability and brains that group had combined couldn't fill a thimble. At least, the group of troublemakers that I had to deal with," Fenrir confessed.
He listened to what she had to say, commenting that Little Vegeta in Oolong was being run somewhat like the Devil’s Cookbook Gang; a group of thugs using intimidation and violence to get what they wanted, is the only image that he could come up with. Well, not the only image, just the first one. The second image was them being incompetent buffoons like those in the Devil’s Cookbook gang. He hoped that both of the images were wrong.
“Why would things be different in one city than another, even if both are being run by saiyans? Hm, well it could be a few factors. One of the things could be that West City appears to be far more well-off,” He scratched his chin, “West City is bigger and is more of a hub for business and thus more money than Oolong City is. I’m assuming if Oolong had more business, then perhaps things would improve there. But, those are just my theories. I would not mind visiting both places with you. Then we can definitely ascertain why West City’s Little Vegeta is different from Oolong City’s Little Vegeta. Then, if we can figure that out, we can find a way to improve the quality of life for those in Oolong City. Perhaps even decrease the need for gang activity.”
He turned his attention back to the task at hand, looking at the steering wheel which he then realized he was gripping quite tightly. He loosened his grip somewhat and relaxed his stance as he sat back in the comfortable bucket seat.
What followed was a simple and basic tutorial on how everything about the transmission of that particular model of sports hover car worked; how the clutch was used, when to use it, how to arrive at each of the different gears, this particular model hover car having at least six speeds. A small grin crossed the man's face as the woman slipped her smaller hand over his; her dainty fingers slipping in between his to show him how to work the gear shift and swiftly slide between one gear to the next, "Hm, seems simple enough," is what he said, but mentally he was jotting down as much of this information as possible. After all, she was going to end up leaving his side and heading into her own pitch black vehicle - albeit, not before she gave him one final set of instructions.
She was going to wait by her car, watch him drive around the track on his own, or at least that is what he gathered from the instructions she had given him. Sounded simple enough. But sounding simple and being simple were two totally different beasts altogether.
“Hm, well, let’s see what this bad boy can do,” He muttered to himself as he placed his hand on the gear shift and moved the car to first gear before slowly pulling his foot off the clutch. He did not apply any gas, he just removed his foot from the clutch slowly as the car began to move forward. Once it was rolling, then he pressed down on the gas, again slowly. As the car began to gain more speed, he eased off the gas pedal and pushed down on the clutch and switched gears, from first to second then third as he gained even more speed.
He was a bit clumsy, the hover car did jerk once or twice (ok, make that three or four times), but this was his first time driving a car, after all, so that was to be expected.
As the car moved along down the track, the two scientists watched, gripping their clipboards tight, visibly nervous.

“Not exactly, Juniper does not gossip about anyone, although I do wish she told me about you a lot sooner knowing how talented you are. I found out about who was involved in the decimation of the Devil’s Cooks by reading the report by the Police, I read your name, I just never connected it to your face until recently. Well, I expect good things from you, still. I hope we can make some discoveries in Little Vegeta after this.”
The tea princess hoped she was a good driving instructor, she felt that everything was covered in regards to driving, and she said one last piece of advice before he shifted into first gear. “Remember, the clutch is your friend, you cannot press any of the pedals without pressing it first to change the gears, brake, or add more speed. Best of luck.”
A smile formed on her face, the few times he stalled the white hover car, he seemed to struggle along but at least he maintained control which was the most important factor. Fenrir did not go through the entire circuit as expected, instead he shifted into reverse gear, and ended up back on the checkered line of the track. Clove was curious that he would at least go around the loop-da-loops and problem solve the gear changes before doing the actual race. It was either a bold move not to have the advantage of going around once or he simply wanted to get it over with. It had taken a considerable amount of time to go through the learning process, even discussing Little Vegeta to distract him from feeling nervous, for someone who could survive being hit by a train at full speed feeling nervous about driving correctly seemed odd.
At least with a train, it would take some effort to consider the well being of the passengers involved in the crash, the difference being that one could control their own actions of avoiding the train or being hit by it. Operating the latest, fastest hover car from Capsule Corp required a different kind of finesse, one that needed two hands, two feet, and constant eye motion on a heavy piece of metal that had no ki signature. With some thought, after encountering many androids, a car was like an android in the sense that it was a piece of unpredictable machinery.
“Well, if you’re ready to race, so be it.” Clove spoke loud enough for everyone to hear, she tucked her long hair under the belts to prevent it from flailing about at extreme speeds. Like a professional, she started the engine of the black car, left foot on the clutch, hand on the stick.
The capsule corp staff on standby nodded as the light sequence was activated, it started with the light indicators at the top of the posts attached to the sides of the track, to light up to a brilliant red hue, the set of three red bulbs lit up one at time for the pacing, followed by three yellow bulbs matching the same rhythm as the first, and finally one last green bulb to hit the pedal to metal with a booming pop sound to start the race.
Clove started in first gear, eventually shifting the gears up when the track was straight shot, then lowered it at sharper turns in order to slow down enough to remain on the track or risk jumping off the track. When the loop-da-loop was in the distance, the indicators suggested the top speed of the car, and that was the peak of the adrenaline rush by driving in sixth gear. Tightly gripping the wheel, she would feel what it was like to surrender herself to a machine, without using her ability to fly, and to make the hover car complete the loop safely as long as she maintained control. He stalled out the car several times. The car jerked forward, appeared to be going, and then it would stall out. And he would have to re-start the whole car all over again, pushing the clutch down to the metal as he had been instructed and pushing the engine start button. It was, in his defense, his first time behind the wheel of a car. Sure, she had been quite informative, Fenrir would not ever deny that Clove had been very informative, but his lesson in driving had been rather short so far. In fact, the lesson had been less than a few moments; five minutes, maybe ten, at maximum. There was no way that he would master driving something as complex as a hover car after only one lesson and then off to the races he was? No. He was quite adept at fighting, but driving was a whole other beast and he was a complete novice at it.
So it came as a surprise to no one when the car stalled out the first time. Or the second time, or even the third time. But, even as the car stalled out, it would be restarted again and he would continue attempting to drive, the car would continue chugging down the road, slowly but surely. However, he did not take the whole track, he did not go for the loop da loops, and instead he wound up returning to the spot he started as the car came to a stop and he sat back in his seat. "Eh, how was that?"
The feat was nothing impressive for someone who had been driving for years, someone who knew how to work the complex machinery of the hover car, but to someone like Fenrir, he had done a damn good job. After all, sure, he stalled out a few times, but he never once lost control of the car and the whole time he managed to remain on the track. He was a bit slow in running the portion of the track, but he still managed to make it back in one piece and that’s ultimately what mattered.
He did skip out on the loops, which proved that he was a bit hesitant to try it; was it out of fear of harm ? Doubtful. He could crash the car and come out unscathed. Was it out of fear of harming the vehicle? Probably not, since they were there to test the car, and if the car were to be destroyed in any way during the testing, well that was just further proof that the vehicle needed to go back to the drawing board because it needed more work. Or at least, that’s how those watching had put it in the paperwork.
Was he ready for a race? Not even in the slightest. But, Clove appeared eager to race and he may as well try once again to drive the screaming metal death trap one more time. He hadn't done too bad the first time around, so maybe now with a bit more experience - ok a few moments of driving - under his belt, he'd do a bit better? Or at least that is what he hoped.
As soon as he slid his vehicle into position, he placed his hand on the shift, put one foot on the clutch, pressing it down all the way.
He sat back in his seat, his eyes watching the blinking indicator lights as they flashed from red, to yellow, and finally green.
Clove was like a bat out of Hell. She shot ahead rather quick, even if she only started in first gear, or at least he assumed due to the speed the car was moving, it couldn't have been going faster than first gear, right? Or was that second? He didn't have a clue.
Still, he shot ahead as well, starting out at first gear. Of course, when he first started gaining speed, he stalled the car. Then he restarted it and shot ahead once again, as he attempted to catch up with the woman. He was switching from first to second gear soon enough, and then soon to third, fourth, and fifth, as the track became a straight line shot forward. His car picked up speed as he then slid the gear onto sixth gear and began to gain speed.
Was he catching up? He could see the black car. He was catching up, but that bit of time he had spent at the beginning of the race restarting the vehicle gave her a bit of a lead that he was attempting now to take back from the woman.
He could see the loops ahead. He pressed the gas hard, accelerating as he shot towards the loop. Would he make it? He could only hope.

Clove was eager to leave her fate in the comfort of a Capsule Corp luxury sports car, she left Fenrir in the dust, she had full control of the vehicle, crimson eyes peered over the mirrors and she licked her lips as the engine roared across the closed circuit track. Flying was a far different experience compared to operating a vehicle, she had experience in flying several transport vehicles including a helicopter, despite being physically able to fly using ki. The tea princess at some point had to operate a helicopter, to transport a group of scientists that were forced into labor and were in unstable conditions instead of being carried, in order to safely travel to a hospital helipad for immediate treatment.
Perhaps Fenrir would someday be required to do the same at some point in his life, so he should take advantage of gaining the experience of operating a machine that so many ordinary earthlings used in their daily lives, and the Capsule Corp brand was the most popular line of innovative machines. Like a roller coaster the black car made the loop-da-loop in the first attempt, it was a long straight track before the second one, and the most dangerous curves were fully dominated by the demoness’ refined control. The rest of the circuit was completed, she had the vehicle mainly on the highest speed, even coming to the finish line, she spun to sudden stop. Small thrusters immediately corrected the alignment of the hover car to line up to the checkered line as it was programmed to do from such a sudden stop.
It was not difficult to operate the hover car if it was practically magnetized to the track, it was no different from operating a roller coaster, the real challenge was just outside, and it was to operate a different set of cars that were on a different race track without the magnetism keeping it limited to the closed circuit. Clove proceeded to turn off the hover car, committing to the routine of pulling on hand break once it touched down on the ground, unbuckled herself, whilst sliding her her painted fingernails to smooth out her chestnut hair after she pinned it between the harness.
With Fenrir closing on the finish line, she expected him to either stall, or slow down enough to a stop based on the speed he was driving in from the start. The door of the black car swung open, Clove stretched out her bare legs out of the car promiscuously, and stood up on the track. Slowly leaning on the hover car door to close it shut, she slid over to sit on the trunk to watch Fenrir finish the race with a sly smile.
“Well, it looks like you managed to remain in one piece, are you confident in going for another race in a normal track without the magnetic pull, the hover car would go even faster. It’s up to you Fenrir-san. I also wouldn’t mind going out to check out Little Vegeta as we discussed.”
Clove was entirely something else, despite being a powerful martial artist she was carefree at heart, just like Fenrir she enjoyed being involved in activities to pass the time. Anything that would prevent her from going back to Oolong City. Despite showing her interest in Little Vegeta in West City, she had no plans to visit the one back home, and she was biding her time. The demoness leaned on her palms tilting her head which retained the black and yellow cap for an answer. Whatever the wolf deity decided on, she was willing to go along with, they already did their part in testing two of the vehicles, and while there were two more waiting for them it was not a requirement in the documents they signed.

Between the two of them, the race was really no contest. There was one, Clove, with a lot more experience than the other. Fenrir was a beginner, a newbie, and there was little chance for him to win the race. In fact, the only thing that was quite fortunate was that he somehow didn't crash the expensive test vehicle. The two hosts were breathing a sigh of relief - which was good that they were breathing again because as the two had been racing, they had almost forgotten to breathe for most of the race - and they stared as the woman rounded the final curve and returned and parked the vehicle.
Clove had left the man in the literal and figurative dust. And there he was, rolling up toward the finish line, the car stalling at least once or twice, but he had made it, somehow.
The loop da loop that he had encountered during the race had made his adrenaline rush; he had gripped the steering wheel so tight, that he had feared he would break the damn thing in his hands. Thankfully, he didn't.
The vehicle remained firmly planted on the track; in fact, it was only because of the magnets which held the car tight to the track that Fenrir didn't fly off and crash in a fiery ball of vehicular destruction. Still, as he rounded the last corner and he made his way to the finish line, he breathed a slight sigh of relief as he soon came to a bit of a jerky stop. The car stalling as he arrived at its parking spot and he leaned back in his seat.
She wanted him to go on another race? No, it was more of a question than a suggestion or a request; she had already beaten him once, and more than likely, if they were to race a second time, she would beat him again. Controlling the car was difficult for him; he was still stalling it, even as he neared the end of the race, and he had yet to get the hang of shifting. But, she had been enjoying herself; he could see it in the woman's face. She had enjoyed the race, even if it had been decidedly one sided. Still, he couldn't fault her for it.
"Hm, another race, but without the magnets?" The pull of the magnets had kept him from crashing more than once during the race; in particular when he made particularly sharp turns or when he was rushing through the loop da loops. Especially, when he was rushing through the loop da loops.
But, he had noticed that the car wasn't moving as fast as its build and appearance suggested. So the magnets kept the car from crashing, but it also slowed it down quite significantly as a side effect of the safety feature.
"I guess I could go for one more round," He rubbed his chin, thinking it over, "And then after, we can go check out this Little Vegeta place that you mentioned earlier," the one with all of the saiyans, "Hm, maybe we can get something to eat while we're at it," he grinned warmly at the woman, "Or I can whip something up for us both to eat. I'm sure that we can get some good ingredients in West City. Hm, what kind of foods do you prefer? I can try any kind of recipe you can throw my way; life is about trying new things. Which is why I'm going to give this race one more go." He waved at the two scientists, "Mind removing the magnets? We want to do another round about the course, full speed."
For a split second, the two scientists looked at the man as if he were crazy and then they nodded and got to work, using handheld computers that were connected through a wireless secure network to the two advanced vehicles.
"Well, while they remove the magnets, want to make a wager on the race? The loser of the race... treats the winner of the race to a nicely cooked meal. How does that sound to you?" His grin grew wider.

Something motivated Fenrir to try a second race, without the magnets this time, and it seemed he secretly enjoyed a challenge just as much as she did. The idea of going out for a meal afterwards gave him the idea to make it a wager between them; a nicely cooked meal could either be at a restaurant or in the kitchen of her condo in West City. Clove turned on her heals, opening the door of the black car slowly, sliding back into the car with the outmost sex appeal which was natural to the Tea Princess.
“You’re on, Fenrir-san.” Clove responded, going through all the motions of getting comfortably secured with the harness, tucking her hair from being coiled in the air from the sheer speed of the hover car, and then stretching her neck until the vertebrae cracked to relax. Her red painted fingernails held on the steering wheel, she turned on the engine, and the hover car floated off the track.
The capsule corp employees turned off the magnetic generator from the track, it was planned to test the cars without the safety measures in place to determine the highest output of their sports car line before it was released to the public. While they were waiting at the starting line, the staff explained they could each keep their cars if they successfully finished the circuit, the DynoCapsule for the car was stored in the glove compartment for easy storage, as a way to motivate them to keep the vehicle in one piece.
“Well, I cannot promise anything, but I will do my best.” Clove said as she revved up the engine, waiting for the staff to start the race with the lights, and just like before the sequence changed from red, yellow, to green as the final set off lights. The demoness took off, at top speed, the engine roared, the sheer power of the latest piece of machinery catapulted her forward through the first curve, and then another. Finally, she reached the long straight stretch of track that would allow her to make the loop-da-loop and she licked her lips in anticipation. [357] [9,007/12,000] ngXEraTu1d1001d100

The idea appeared to grab her attention; a friendly wager between the two of them. He didn't mind losing this one; then again, he didn't mind the last one either. But this one, he minded losing less. Either way, they were going to go out and eat something together. Either they were going to go eat at a nice restaurant, or they would end up treating the other to a nice home cooked meal. Whether it was made by him or her, it did not matter much to the nearly seven foot tall wolf.
The way that she slowly got into the car, as if she were putting herself on full and shameless display, showing off her assets to the still somewhat grinning wolf, caused that little smile on his face to grow all the wider. This one knew how to work the competition; she knew how to get to him, as she would have gotten to any man in his position. And possibly even certain women. He laughed a bit as she climbed into her onyx colored car, "Let's see in which direction Chance sways this time."
With that, he climbed into his car's driver's seat, sliding the door shut behind him and even preparing himself for a good race. He buckled himself up, following the steps that she had taken earlier to get him hooked up. Once he was situated, prepped, strapped, and safe, he ignited the engine on the vehicle.
Even before the two of them started, he could feel the difference of having the protective magnets deactivated. The car felt different than it did before, it almost felt a bit lighter. The sound of the engine growling and purring sounded different too, as if the car was no longer weighed down by the force of the potent magnets which kept the car locked onto the track.
Once the two racers were ready, the engines growling out their desire to pump out as much horsepower and RPM as possible, the indicator lights began to flash. As they had done before, they followed a specific pattern. And once it reached green, both cars shot forward. This time, Fenrir did not stall out the car as he began racing.
The car picked up speed, gradually but smoothly. He wasn't the best driver in the world, he would never try to say he was nor could he even try to. But, he had improved somewhat. He hadn't stalled, after all, and he was switching from one gear to the other a bit more fluidly than he had the first time.
The race, now that he knew the race track a bit better, was going rather well. He didn't get left behind as hard or as fast as he had the first time around, and this time he worked hard to close the gap between the two of them, a bit smile crossing his face as he grew closer to the woman's onyx colored car. He shot her a little wink as they were soon neck and neck, turning on every corner. And when he did stall out once, he quickly restarted the engine and managed to catch up once more.
Then came the loop da loop. He leaned back in his seat, gripped the steering wheel tight and prepared himself. Luck be a lady tonight.

It took less than a few seconds for Clove to realize Fenrir was not going to make the second loop-da-loop at the speed he was going, she was driving rather fast, and her only thought process was to initiate the DynoCapsule in the glove compartment right after she unbuckled herself from the harness. The tea princess flew over to the wolf deity still strapped into the car, the gut feeling from falling half way through the loop began to sink in, but Clove used her super demonic strength to pull on the landing gear pontoons, as the safest part of the vehicle to hold on to while it was upside down. The weight of the vehicle was effortless in her grip, she stopped the car from crashing down by the pull of gravity, and she slowly flew down to lower the car in the correct position with the driver still secured inside back on the track.
With a red finger nailed hand she unbuckled Fenrir lifting him up from the seat by the collar of his red leather jacket to examine him playfully with a sly smile. “Perfectly still in one piece.” Clove lowered him to stand on the track, she showed him a black DynoCapsule for her car in her free hand, and flew over to reach into the glove compartment for the white car for the DynoCapsule to store the save the nearly ruined hover vehicle inside a pill shaped capsule in a puff of smoke. With both capsules in hand she returned by his side and placed them in Fenrir’s jacket pocket explaining herself, “They said we could keep the cars if we didn’t crash the second test.”
The tea princess took Fenrir’s hand, “Now let’s go get something to eat after all this drama. Don’t worry about being the only one cooking. I can at least help with the prep and cook one of the dishes so you can try my food for a change. I have everything back at my condo to get started.”
With their palms clasped together, they both took flight towards the ceiling, there was a window left open for them to leave the building. Their flight path took them past the warehouse district, towards the city center, and on the tallest building was Clove’s gorgeous rooftop condo with an outdoor pool, and large massive windows looking into the main floor of her unit. With no other buildings nearby, the windows had a full view of the living room, and kitchen. Clove released his hand when they landed by pool, she took the time to use the fob on attached to a bracelet on her wrist to activate the sliding living room glass doors.
“Welcome to my personal paradise.” Clove said as she motioned for him to follow her inside towards the kitchen. The counter tops were made of wood, the kitchen had a long island with a sink for prep work, and a glass stove top directly across in an L shape counter. Everything was in pristine condition for the most part, there was evidence that she used every single item in the kitchen based on the circular buff marks left behind from being cleaned properly.
“So, what should we make today, since we kept talking about saiyans...how about vegetable dishes?” [552] [10,114/12,000]
