It had been previously stated that the idea of a vast ocean crossing the horizon was mind-blowing to a Planet Plant born Saiyan, who's small world while they were children was largely wastelands, forests, and farms but it was not the only alien aspect of humanity and the people of Earth to Cayle and his fellow Saiyans. While the Pickled Saiyans had taken to the water of Earth's Southern Sea and the islands of that region like fish to well, water Cayle had only been introduced to the concept of 'snow', as a consistent thing, as opposed to high winds and hail in winter, by going with Ty to the Winter Extravaganza in Pilaf Land and competing in the Ice Sculpting contest. He hadn't been specifically drawn to it, until Ty had asked him to meet her on Marshmellow Summit some days before. Since then, in his spare time and even occasionally when he was supposed to be sleeping, he had been snowboarding down the mountain. It felt fun, like he was flying without having to spend the ki or the focus on flight. Of course, he noticed a few secret installations on the mountain's face, but from what he had read, the snow that fell through the air in the region was man-made, so it was possible they were apart of the apparatus which used to make it. Or so he thought, before finding out one of them was actually a radar station by a 2 foot tall brown bear beast woman in a lab coat. “The Radar Station caught on to a strange signature up here... hey, you're part of the crew that dealt with the Mushroom incident, right?” Cayle nodded to this, and she pointed towards the sky. “The Radar's got some craziness... a carrot shaped meteor falling towards Pilaf Land. Think you and your friends could help? The Science department will pay you!” “Include a life time pass to Marshmellow Summit and deal.” “Uh, I can't really give out such a deal!” “You have my terms.” “Fine! Just make your friends show up fast!” And so Cayle used the greatest invention that any human had ever made: A chain text. “Flying Carrot crashing towards Marshmellow Summit. Come up here and help me deal with it. They promised to pay us and give us free lifetime passes to the summit.” [399]

Post by Vidar (PROJECT: RAGNAROK) on Aug 1, 2020 6:12:16 GMT -8
It had been some time since he arrived in Pilaf Land. How long, he had actually lost track of time, he did not quite recall. The last time he checked, and from a simple guesstimate, it had been at least a few weeks. He had gone to the supposedly happiest place on Earth to find a scientist, anyone who could help him repair or possibly even replace his arm. But, so far, he has not found a single person capable of doing it. All he'd found so far is a temple of non-euclidean geometries, mind bending inter-world travels, doppelgangers of himself, evil versions of Doctor Kringle with diabolical intentions, farmers trapped in carrots, and also giant mushrooms that devoured the energy of anything around them.
But a scientist, in all of that madness, he had not found. It was for that reason that Vidar continued to carry his severed limb around with him, usually in a satchel that was draped over his one good shoulder.
It was another day in Pilaf Land. It was hard to believe that so much lunacy could happen in one place; how could this place still be running? Well, he could only assume that most of the incidents were isolated, kept secret from the public. For example, Vidar did not recall seeing any tourists or any lookie loos during the incident with the strange temple. He also was lead to an area away from the patrons when he dealt with the carrots that weren't carrots. And the mushroom incident did take place in the Mushroom Forest, so again not many people to witness the strangeness.
There were people staring at him again. He didn't pay them much mind; after all, he was walking around the park with only one good arm, and the other arm could be seen inside of his satchel. He looked like some kind of caricature from a movie or a skit, a comedy perhaps, walking around, checking the place out.
It was then that a message appeared; it just appeared in his peripheral vision, picked up by his internal HUD. Flying Carrot Crashing Towards Marshmallow Summit," the words would have sounded insane to anyone else. Flying Carrot? The message was being sent to multiple people, he just happened to be one of the select few that got it. It's originator was Cayle. He knew that name. He met him once; back when they dealt with pirates and giant sea birds - again, the cyborg had seen his fair share of oddities - all while aboard a Taco King restaurant boat on a mission they were sent on by a flasher cyborg to search for a Tuffle Bunker.
Marshmallow Summit? He knew that name. He had seen it on maps of Pilaf Land, there were many of them posted about, directories for the guests so they knew just where they were - always with a small dot that was labeled YOU ARE HERE positioned at different spots on the directory map. He had taken pictures of that map, saved it onto his HUD and used his HUD to create a better 3D map. It allowed him to better position landmarks and know which way he was going slightly better. Looking at the map, seeing it within his own head, in his peripheral vision, he saw just where Marshmallow Summit was and was able to calculate how far away it was from him and how long it would take for him to get there by using various means of transport; the slowest way, of course, was walking. Slightly faster was running, and then there was the small train that carried Pilaf Land guests from one part of the town to the other.
The fastest way there was flying. And that's the way that he chose to go about it. His feet lifted up off the ground and, ignoring the gaping stares of the other people around him, he shot off in the direction of the summit. He would arrive there within moments and as he arrived, he followed the familiar energy reading of Cayle to his location.
Once he spotted the Taco King owner, he dropped from the sky and gently landed atop the artificial snow, barely making a sound as he landed.
"Flying carrots?" It was the first thing he said as he approached Cayle, "This park has a running trend of strange happenings and carrots."

Tiger Lily decided to ice skate after snowboarding the slopes a few times with Cayle, she was surprised Cayle was so into it, and she could not convince him to ice skate in the outdoor skating rink at the base of Marshmellow summit because he wanted to keep snowboarding. It was great that he used the opportunity for recreational fun rather than typical martial arts training. In some ways he seemed more like an earthling, being grounded by gravity, and using his whole body to rip through the snow on a board. The redhead had difficulty keeping up with him and found that it was relaxing to glide across the ice with her skates. After taking care of a fungal infestation in a nearby forest for Pilaf Corp, Cayle had negotiated in getting Pilaf Land swag as payment, among them was a winter Shu style pink hat, and inu paw print scarf Ty was currently wearing. After half an hour, her c-phone went off, a text message from Cayle, the ring tone was of bell buoy at sea. Ty’s expression lit up, she was excited about a flying carrot, until she realized that it sounded rather silly but if it was from her boyfriend he was more than likely telling the truth. The coordinates were close, near the peak of Marshmellow summit, and she turned in her rental skates changing into a pair of black snow boots, then took off flying to his location. Upon arrival, she saw Vidar, immediately recognizing him by his clothes, he seemed to always wear the same outfit. Landing gently in the snow she noticed a two foot cub sized bear beastman, with closer inspection she was not a cub, and she waved at her with a pink gloved hand. “I do not see anything, Cayle.” Ty looked around, “Hm, what about you Vidar? Do you detect anything? It must still be quite far.”While the incoming carrot was not visible to the naked eye, she slipped her hands in her pocket, patiently waiting for something to happen. With at least the three of them, they would be to stop the carrot, depending on how big it was from crashing into the artificial snow summit. [370] [1,500/14,000]

Will was flying through the sky of Pilaf Land on his Flying Nimbus, thankfully thanks to his last two jobs for Pilaf Land he was able to get a free pass and not be shot down for entering the airspace. After that whole stressful experience with the temple, you think he would be here for a day of r&r. Though instead, he would end up being texted for another job by the people who hired him before. And as if the last two jobs weren't any weirder. A carrot-shaped meteorite is heading towards Marshmallow Summit. Well, space is infinite so the possibilities of that being a thing shouldn't be that slim but still kind of weird considering he had to deal with some carrot related shenanigans recently.
As he is flying towards the mountain he than two familiar auras. All of which he remembers meeting recently at the temple. He then jumps off the cloud and right before landing on the ground slows his descent as some of the snow is blown away as he also sees Vidar along with them. As well as Cayle and Ty Lee. Along with them, there seems to be beastman bear scientist, who seems to be rubbing her eyes thinking she might be seeing things, around the same size as him. Seeing how they are with a scientist they probably mean they are not just here to be snowboarding or skiing.
"Ah good to see you all again, nice winter gear by the way, are you three here too cause you heard about the carrot-shaped meteor coming here? Well if so I am glad I won't be doing this job alone. Ain't no job like a snow job, nya ha ha ha ha!" Will said.
As he laughed he waited for someone to laugh at his joke but whether or not anyone else laughed, besides the bear scientist who chuckled a bit, he coughs into his hand as he puts his hands behind his back to wait for anyone else.

Post by Achido on Aug 2, 2020 10:14:32 GMT -8
Back at the Pilfland treehouse, Achido found himself studying the Raptors and their way of life. They may have been used for their eggs and meat in the end, but something about the creatures kept Achido intrigued. He was leaning against the fence, watching the bird-like dinosaurs communicate with one another. The sounds they made were terrifying, but it was a glorious thing to witness. At least for the blonde teenager it was something he found most interesting.
With the creatures busy chatting up a storm with each other, this would give Achido the perfect window to sneak in where the eggs were laying. The blonde teen jumped and lifted himself over the fence, then slowly hopped over, hoping that the bird-like creatures were still occupied. He looked over his shoulder to see all three of them turned away from him, so he tip-toed through the grass and dirt below, before stepping into the den where the eggs were laying peacefully. "One of you are coming with me. These saiyans don’t need to eat all of you poor things." He whispered, as he reached down carefully and picked up a single egg.
As the teenager placed the egg into his backpack and zipped it shut, he walked out the den to see that the Raptors were no longer chatting with one another. Instead, they were facing the teen with their teeth showing. "Uh oh.." He said in a soft tone, trying not to anger the creatures anymore than they already were. It was then that his C-Phone played a tune. It was an incoming text from Cayle. The raptors looked to one another, then rushed forward to pounce their new prey. Just as all three jumped up to tackle Achido to the ground and tear him to pieces, he flew upward with amazing speed to evade the ambush.
With the egg safe in his backpack, Achido flew to the treehouse and placed the bag on his bed, before looking through the phone to see what Cayle wanted. It seemed that there was some sort of flying carrot coming straight for Marshmellow Summit and the teenager was needed. Achido quickly changed into something more appropriate for the snow, then flew out of the tree house toward the power signatures of his friends.
As Achido closed the distance, the temperature began to drop dramatically. Luckily he changed into his snow gear before heading this way, or he would be freezing his butt off in this weather. It didn’t take the teen too long to make it to Marshmellow Summit because of his ability to fly, but as he made it there, the teen landed several feet behind Ty and snuck up to her slowly. As he moved in, he quickly put both his hands around her face to cover her eyes. "Guess who??" He called out playfully, while spotting the others with her.

Post by Nase on Aug 7, 2020 21:06:37 GMT -8
Looking up into the sky, Nase noticed something he didn't think he'd see in a while. Beams of light, flying at different speeds and colours all were streaking to the same area in the area. Even though they were high up, Nase could still sense large amounts of energy coming from them, all with their own different 'flavours' to them as well.
"(Damn, I need to find a better word than 'flavours')"
Disregarding the inappropriate phrasing, the dark-skinned Tuffle watched as all of the different flying figures landed one after the other, and took note of where they took their landing. It looked to be some form of an artificial mountain in the distance. Huh. There was a large crowd of people in front of him looking upwards as well, with a good amount recording them as well. Letting out an annoyed 'tch!' as the people kept watching their so-called 'fireworks' flying across the sky, he stepped out of sight as he wiped the dirt off of his face from the mushroom fight. Planning his direction of movement, Nase saw a clear path to his right, and slowly blinked as he breathed out deeply and focused his ki. This movement, unfortunately, caught the attention of a random man standing at the back of the mob, like he was.
"Hey, man. Are you seeing thi-"
Before Nase could even retain what he was being asked, Nase rushed past him in his own stripe of green that luckily didn't gain anyone else's attention in the process. Remembering the point that all of the others flew towards, Nase decided to join them on whatever they were doing there. Just to check what was going on, at the very least. Nase continued to bob and weave past buildings until he got in range of the frozen hill, and thanks to Nase's sensing ability beginning to get better, he knew for sure where the group of teenagers (and robot and catman) were stationed. Not one to enjoy the attention, Nase made sure he had landed far behind everyone else and returned his ki release to near-zero as he did so. As Nase continued through the icy expanse, he both simultaneously began eavesdropping on the warriors ahead, and enjoying the cold atmosphere he had descended into. Finally, a temperature he was accustom to...
"(Ah... Now this is good.)"
Breathing out a visible sigh of relief, the northerner began walking up to the group, both hands comfortably sitting in his jacket pockets. Unfortunately, though he was keeping his lax attitude, his calm disposition was soon ruined after hearing something that made him believe that he never truly going to get rest from Pilaf Lands issues. Making himself known with heavy footsteps through the snow and his usual mix of uninterested tone and delinquent-esque posture.
"(Huh, Achido's here too.)They never stop having problems here do they? And for some reason, they're always vegetable-based..."
Gesturing to the entirety of Pilaf as he spoke, he returned his gloved hand to his pocket and continued his monologue.
"You guys have to deal with the mushroom and stuff too? That didn't seem like a one-time thing."
Lazily pointing to Vidar, he snarked at the android's severed body part.
"Nice arm, by the way. Either way, did you guys just say 'Flying' carrot? What on earth even is that? Someone here must be really into them, I guess."
For some reason, as he spoke, Nase's eyes kept drifting over towards the blue-eyed male and the orange-haired girl that were to the right of the group. He couldn't put his finger on why, but out of the people that were waiting on some sort of carrot missile to reach earth, they seemed to be the most interesting to his subconscious. Strange.

Post by Jade on Aug 9, 2020 1:48:57 GMT -8
Jade would find herself flying around Pilaf Lands looking for.. nothing. She wass just exploring. This place is still a bit new to her. It hasn't been long since those weird incidents happened. First, it was the ki infused carrots and then it was the mutant mushrooms. As much they were out of the ordinary, Jade was ok with the fact that she got paid for 'dealing with the problem'. She wasn't expecting to do anything else for the Pilaf Corporation, at least not until now. She would look into the distance, only to see what seemed to be a.. flying carrot. Jade was speechless. She rubbed her eyes and blinked twice, before opening her eyes once more. She thought that she was definitely seeing things. But, she was wrong. Her attention would then be drawn by a phone call from her C-phone. By the looks of it, it was a call from the Pilaf Corporation themself. Jade knew what this meant. The feline hesitantly answered the call. They mentioned there were news coming in that there was a huge flying carrot heading straight for the Pilaf Lands near Marshmellow Summit, where she was originally heading towards. They also explained that there were some people already at Marshmallow Summit that were going to find out what was going on as well. Jade sighed before giving her response. "Just when I thought everything was over.. alright, I'll get to it." After their brief conversation, Jade hung up the phone and flew straight towards Marshmellow Summit. It's a good thing that she was appropriately dressed for this specific job. She was currently wearing a gray sweater with a tam hat sitting on the top of her head and a simple black skirt. As fast as she possible could, she would fly over to the designated spot. As she got closer, she could sense the different ki signatures near by and the temperature dropping. She landed gracefully on top of the mountain and walked over to a familiar blond headed android. "Hello Vidar. Is it just me or is this the worst that could possibly happen?" She said, with a frown visible on her features. "I'm glad that we were able to meet again." Her expression then changed to a slight smile. She tried to sense if there was anything different around her, but the flying carrot seemed to be a bit far. So for now, she would stand next to Vidar and tuck her hands in her sweater pockets. She would also look around for a certain white haired teenager, which was no where to be seen. Hm, what a let down. "I guess he couldn't make it for this job." She said, in a low tone of voice. Post by Cayle Pota on Aug 11, 2020 5:19:47 GMT -8
Why did humans, or rather Earthlings et al, have to be so difficult about things? As Cayle finally got some of the chain text summoned help to show up to the summit of Marshmellow Summit he was thinking this to himself, especially when Vidar questioned him about the idea of a giant carrot falling to the planet. Why in the world would the son of Pota Potaset have any reason to lie about a carrot meteor, anyways?
“Yeah, the scientist here,” he made an open palmed gesture in the direction of the small bear beastwoman, “said that she picked up an object on Pilaf Land's satellite dishes and radar that looked to be a carrot.”
When Ty asked if he could sense it, Cayle shook his head, he had no idea it was here and had fully intended to just enjoy some time snow boarding and perhaps making some snow angels in the summit's fine snow before being asked to help with this situation.
Then the high pitched feline register of Will's voice entered the scene and Cayle's eyes immediately moved towards finding the source. Had the cat really read the text, seen it, and come here without seeing who sent it? Did he not have Cayle's number saved? Perhaps the cat couldn't in actuality read. The Saiyan was not sure, but soon responded with a correction. “Yeah, Will, I'm the one who sent you the message asking for help with the carrot-teor.”
To Achido's mischief, Cayle didn't say a thing. Earthlings were so insufferably different from Saiyans at times. He didn't bother to verbalize his frustration, but the Saiyan was on edge when yet another group of people showed up, or rather two individuals. A pinkette who apparently had some familiarity with Vidar and a boy whom- Cayle's nose itched, there was a familiar smell on the air from this boy and it took every centimeter of his focus and self-control to not throw a spiritual energy infused punch at this new comer.
“Tuffle, I don't know what you're here for, but try to sabotage the situation, interfere, or hurt any of my friends and it will be the last thing you do. On my name, Cayle Pota, the son of Pota Potaset, whom himself was the son of Potaset Pota, descended down from the line of Pota the Proud, I guarantee you that.”
He would have went back to trying to figure out how to detect this falling carrot and stopping it before it landed, too, but soon the entire group would find itself under fire from a motley crew of strange folks all tied together by one thing and one thing only; a bunny ear headband on top of their head or their helmet. Some were dressed in 'aliens are real, believe' shirts, some in tuxedos, some in military garb. But they were firing convenient and unconventional weapons at the group now.

Post by Carter Bane on Aug 13, 2020 10:19:44 GMT -8
Carter was running and though he wasn't tired, he was frustrated. Since he couldn't fly, it was taking forever to get there. He wasn't sure what he was running to, but as Accel kept reminding him:
("A large number of people with very large energy signatures have gathered in this location. I can sense Jade's energy there as well... just so you know.")
Carter shook his head. Why did Accel feel the need to add that part. It's not like he was running there to help her or anything..... it was just another mission... he was going to protect her.
("You should worry more about protecting yourself. If the threat is so great that all these people have gathered, then you may be running towards danger.")
"Then why aren't you advising me to stop?"
("Because your assistance may be required in order to thwart the danger, and you would be pretty pissed at me if Jade got hurt and we could have stopped it.")
Blue veins glowed brightly as he tried to travel without being noticed, though they wouldn't see much but a blue light flashing by. He needed to be faster, he needed to get there in time. As he ran up the mountain the crowd of people that seemed to glance his way made him feel uncomfortable. He pulled the hood up and walked over to where Jade was. He stood their for a while contemplating what to say, how to say it, when he saw a thin blue line running from his chest to somewhere off in the distance.
("Oh I should have mentioned that Nase was here too but your mind seemed pretty set on the pretty girl, You must have it pretty bad.")
"You're a super advanced AI and you just used pretty three times in the same sentence. And I'll have you know I'm gonna talk to Nase later."
His mind wandered to the new fighting skills he had somehow obtained. He tapped Jade on the shoulder.
"Hey! Glad I could see you again. I was wondering if you could tell me what was going on... I kinda just sensed all the energy up here and came. Well, I sensed you were here and I wanted to help you out. I mean I wanted to protect....."
Carter didn't know how to word what he came here to do, and Accel wasn't going to let time be wasted, so as Carter was fumbling and stumbling over words, he was scanning, analyzing and cataloging the many people that surrounded Carter and there was one thing that Accel noted while he was in the middle of scanning. Carter's energy was fluctuating it moved up and down rapidly.
Accel was unsure what it meant, but it probably wasn't good, but telling Carter to leave now wouldn't work... since she was here. Accel's opinion of Jade was as simple as seeing a player's stats in a game and this high level player could certainly protect this one who was new to the game. Besides, for Carter she was a point of focus, but Accel wasn't sure if that would affect him in the long run. It was after all just a crush right... even Carter didn't fully understand what was happening to him, but he would have to wait. He was just an AI after all, there was no way these feelings were genuine. Though, he was already referred to with male pronouns, Accel had no gender as he was naught but code, but just maybe he could choose... no maybe 'she' could choose which feelings were genuine and which weren't for Carter, but for now she would keep her decision to herself she would have to remain as Accel for a while.

Post by Vidar (PROJECT: RAGNAROK) on Aug 16, 2020 7:20:37 GMT -8
Not long after Vidar arrived at the mountain peak, covered in thick coats of artificial snow, meeting up with Cayle - who appeared to be having some sort of discussion with a small bear beastman scientist - more people began to arrive. Some of those people, Vidar knew. Tiger Lilly for example, he knew her. He had met the orange haired young woman whilst he was on the Taco King, dealing with pirates, including one particularly annoying female pirate captain who had a penchant for animal cruelty and annoying traps - attempting to drown them all in her ship which was purposefully built to be sunk at the press of a button. Why? The blonde cyborg had no idea. Why would anyone build a ship with the capability of sinking on command? Why would anyone take to piracy and attack a Taco King restaurant boat when they clearly had the riches to buy as much food as they wanted from the restaurant rather than have to waste time and energy attacking it. Sometimes, Vidar thought that whilst he was somewhat socially awkward, others were even more so than he and with even stranger attitudes and social norms, if one were to call their behaviors normal by any means.
Aside from Tiger Lilly, who questioned Vidar on whether or not he detected the strange carrot shaped meteor - to which he replied that "No, I do not" - several other people arrived.
The energetic small cat from before was there; he never got the cat's name the first time they had met - also aboard the pirate ship with the faux wood exterior which had given it the appearance of having been built on a soundstage for a big budget summer blockbuster - so he did not know what to call him. So Floaty Cat would be the name he would go with for now.
Others soon followed, including a young blonde man whom Vidar did not recognize. Another young man who pointed out Vidar's current arm predicament, commenting with a bit of snark 'nice arm,' which left the cyborg somewhat perplexed.
"Thank you. It is currently not quite nice; it was severed during a tournament," He looked at his limb, wondering why the compliment? Then he turned his attention towards the final two arrivals. One was a pink haired cat girl whom he had met before, Jade he believed was her name? She had helped him deal with the carrot patch and then later on in the Mushroom Forest.
"I would not call this the worst possible thing to happen. I am sure that much worse could happen, statistically speaking anything can get worse," He looked up at the sky. His yellow irises giving off a soft golden glow as he attempted to scan once again for the meteor. The pink haired young woman commenting on Carter, on the fact that he had yet to arrive and possibly couldn't make it to this particular job. Was this a job? Well, he guessed it was. "He could arrive at any moment; if he also received the message that appeared to be mass texted to everyone, he may arrive."
Then, speak of the devil and he appears, there was Carter, the young man who was infatuated with Jade from first seeing her. He too had helped Vidar out during those two aforementioned little misadventures in Pilafland - what is it with this area and its vegetable based problems? Farmers trapped inside dyno capsules shaped like carrots, energy sucking mutant mushrooms, and now giant carrot shaped meteors falling out of the sky. This place was strange.
"See? I told you that he would arrive." Vidar commented to Jade without looking over at her, seeing Carter in his peripheral vision as he continued to scan the sky.
All of this time at Pilafland, he has helped them out so much with their various strange vegetable based problems and he has YET to find a suitable scientist to repair his ruined severed arm. Now that he thinks about it... There was the small beastman bear scientist right there... No, they didn't look as if they could help him.
"How are we going to take care of the situation?" Vidar questioned, looking over at the small bear beastman scientist, Have any plans been drawn out on how to rid ourselves of the carrot meteor?" There were a few things they could do, but some of them were quite dangerous and also the chance of success depended on a number of factors. They needed more data. For example, if they wanted to re-direct the meteor, they had to know the trajectory, the speed at which it is traveling, the composition of the meteor, etc. The same things would also need to be known if they wanted to destroy the meteor; how do they know that attempting to destroy the massive meteor won't just create a mass of smaller meteors that would then spread out like buckshot and cause even further damage to Pilafland and the surrounding area? There was a lot of information that they needed to account for before they did anything about the meteor in the first place.
He would have spent a bit more time thinking over possibilities of what to do with the vegetable shaped threat, or even discussing with the scientist about whether or not they were capable of fixing his severed limb, but it appeared that the universe just wasn't having it. What was it that whenever Vidar was close to finding some answers about his broken arm that something strange happened? If it wasn't for odd temples with non-Euclidean geometries or mutant mushrooms or, now, giant carrot meteors, there was also on top of all that oddness a band of rabbit bandana wearing individuals firing upon them. Their varied types of clothing gave off the impression that not a single one of them had been given notice on what would be appropriate outerwear for their attack - some showed up in tuxedos while others showed up in less formal attire - and it just made them look... Silly?
Well. He can't really speak about looking silly, standing there with an arm missing.
He turned to face the attackers, his eyes glowing gold as his scanners activated immediately. Counting up the amount of people rushing towards them, scanning their weaponry, their tactical gear if they had any, their measurements, weight and height, and assessing their threat level ain accordance to their ability with their weapon and the weapon itself.
"But, before we deal with the meteor, it appears we have visitors."
His one good arm changed; the metal plates shifting and moving as his arm became a large Gatling gun and he aimed it towards the attackers rushing towards them.
ACTIVATE INSTANT KILL? ... Y / N No.
He wanted to wound not kill them. Disarming them and interrogating them was more useful than killing the attackers outright.
But first, perhaps, rather than wounding them at all, he would force them to surrender? Intimidation tactics worked wonders.
The Gatling gun weapon took on a soft glow as he fired a barrage of tightly packed energy rounds towards the rushing attackers, but not aimed at them directly. Instead, he swept his arm through the air, unloading a large flurry of attacks that struck the ground before them, causing an upwards flurry of artificial snow to fly into their faces, disorienting some of them and surprising some. Some of them even dropped their weapons, startled, whilst one or two of the strange group were so distracted that they accidentally shot a fellow member of their own 'attacking army,' almost comically.

While Vidar spoke, she noticed his arm was missing, she pointed at his empty arm socket and gasped. Of course she remembered the battle he had against the samurai named Riku, during the tournament he was forced to sacrifice it in order to withstand a more lethal bow, but what she did not know was that he had not replaced it since the inheritors event.
“What happened to your arm?” Ty raised her brows in concern, “My uncle Toad Lily is a Doctor and can replace your missing arm. I can help you make an appointment with him after we take care of this meteor situation.”
A pair of white palm and blue exterior gloved hands covered her ocean teal eyes suddenly, a familiar ki signature followed by Achido’s voice was heard, and Tiger Lily smiled turning around to face him but he was nowhere to be found. Her best friend, while he had the good intention of following Cayle’s orders, hated crowds, the number of people on the artificial snow covered mountain forced him to retreat, most likely back at their treehouse. Perhaps Cayle did not expect such a huge turn out from the start and it was quite unexpected to find so many reliable people.
A tan skinned looking teenager verbally pointed out that Vidar was missing his arm, there was no sarcasm detected in his words, but it was a strange way of going on about it. A pink haired girl wearing a black knit hat walked up to the group, there was a tail under her skirt, and if it wasn’t for the hat hiding her cat ears, Ty would think this teenage girl was a saiyan but they were not in a situation to discuss anything.
Cayle was quick to accuse Nase of interfering with the mission, something about him allowed the Saiyan warlord to detect his tuffle roots, Ty gasped at the revelation, was this person an ally or an enemy?
The seconds that happened after the blatant accusation was interrupted, by rabbit ear clad wearing people of various races shooting at the group, who were summoned via text to aid with the incoming meteor, and the situation was even more dangerous with their arrival. The text on their shirts, the words that were shouted, pelting everyone with bullets were a strong indication that they were anticipating the carrot meteor as some sort of ufo cult; unidentified flying object.
The bear scientist was the most vulnerable in the group, Tiger Lily was quick to lean in front of the small bear woman, using her own body to shield her. The stray bullets pelted Ty’s back, shredding her jacket to bits, including the sweater she wore underneath, and her bare back was exposed with the hole. Not a single scratch affected her skin, her saiyan blood protected her skin from taking any damage, and she sighed in relief for getting to the scientist in time.
“Are you alright? Let me escort you back to the lab, you should be safe there until we can deal with these strange people and the flying carrot.” Ty picked up the bear beastwoman and flew over to the small grey building outpost that the scientist pointed at. Once they were inside, she was given a lab coat to replace her ruined clothes, she had no desire of ruining her Shu hat and scarf so she left those behind.
Ty rejoined Cayle landing directly behind him, so they had their backs at each other, more of the cultists arrived in droves trying to overwhelm them all by sheer numbers.
“It would be better to let them come to us. What about the meteor, Cayle?” [614] [6,406/14,000]

It was then they were greeted by more people who seemed to have come to take care of the meteor problem. First, an energetic blonde boy who starts to kid around with Ty Lee. A tan-skinned man who Cayle instantly recognized as a Tuffle and acted hostile towards. A pink-haired half beastman girl. And what appears to be another cyborg, as Will can't seem to sense any energy from them like he can't with Vidar. Quite a diverse group they got here.
Will barely knows most of the people here, even Cayle and Ty Lee he didn't even get to meet much. No need to worry about who's who now though, what they needed to do was think of how to handle this colossal carrot calamity. He has a plan though that might work but also might not. No harm in sharing it though.
"Recently I have learned a much more powerful version of the Kamehameha then Cayle here has seen, perhaps if we add all of our energy attacks together it could vaporize or push it back from whence it came. Of course, we still need a better idea of where it is before we just fire a giant beam of energy into the sky. Don't want to accidentally destroy a space station or anything like that. Maam, you're the one who discovered this. Can you give us a better idea of what we're dealing with?" Will said.
As before the bear scientist could answer, strange clothed beings entered that all seemed to be UFO cultists. With bunny ears and weapons. There are more important things right now than to be dealing with this. As Vidar was making a warning shot, Will began to kick a gun out of one of the cultist's hands. Then he grabbed one and snapped it in half. And kept disarming them in multiple ways one by one. Until enough were disarmed he stopped to ask some much-needed questions.
"I have heard of people like you, going on about aliens this and that, but to come here fully armed to the teeth. Especially since this meteorite was only recently detected so how would you even know about it? And more importantly, what is it you all are trying to do? There is a giant meteorite about to make this mountain into a crater so we're kind of pressed for time here so make it short and sweet. And if I were you I would also stop shooting me and my friends as well, we can just settle this with words instead of having to resort to violence," Will said.
As Will as asking the group of disarmed cultists in front of him. One with a knife tried to stab Will with it. With a quick motion and not even bothering to look behind him sent his elbow against the cultist's stomach causing them to reel on the ground in pain trying not to puke up their lunch. Will then opened his eyes to show his pupil in slits, that is the telltale is one angry kitty at the moment at the appearance of these maniacs, and he is hoping they can give them a good explanation as his patience is worn thin. If these men are not intimidated by him now then he can sure give them a reason to be afraid of him.

Nase took a moment to look at the blonde android ahead of him and shook his head, smirking. He guessed that not everyone could get sarcasm, but he thought his joke was obvious. Eh, you can't win 'em all. Standing at the back of the group, he was the last to see the remaining people enter the large group of warriors on the artificial snow point. One of which, he had already met during the travel to Pilaf land. As the white-haired teenager stopped near another newcomer, a pink-haired girl that Nase hadn't caught the name of yet, Nase noticed him and wondered how many people were going to show up.
"Kid? you're here too? That's strange..."
While the irony of calling someone 2 years younger than him 'kid' was lost on him, Nase's focus shifted once a voice from the side called him out. Or rather, his race out.
Confused at both the sudden aggression coming from the blue-eyed figure in winter gear, as well as how he knew Nase was a Tuffle in the first place, the dark-skinned humanoid faced the son of Potaset while raising his hands palms-forward in an act of innocence in an attempt to diffuse the situation, even though he still kept his dry voice and attitude.
"Woah there, buddy. I heard there's going to be meteor crashing into the theme park. Why would you assume that I'm here for anything other than to stop it?"
He stayed in that position for a while until he realized the hatches in his hands were both visible and active, causing him to quickly shove them into his pockets. Looking back at the aggressive humanoid ahead of him, he squinted at him as he took a step closer to the group.
"How'd you know that anyway, and why feel the need to bring that or your family up anyway?"
He didn't seem to be one of the many androids here... and he didn't have a scouter on him either. Wait, did he find out from his nose? All of this was mystifying Nase more and more, until it finally clicked. The strange necessity to recount his lineage as if he would know the people in it and be intimidated by it, the instant recognition and disdain of his race and especially the strong aura coming from him that Nase realized came an extreme level of ki manipulation and physical strength... though Nase couldn't spot a tail to confirm it, he knew enough to give his theory some weight. Nase's eyes opened back fully as the realization hit and he pointed at Cayle with the same accusatory tone he experienced earlier.
"Ah, you're a Saiyan. That explains the hubris coming off of you. Man, I don't know what your deal is, but I'm not here to kill you just because our families might've had history (not that I could... or Wanted to)."
While he was speaking, a more pressing matter suddenly emerged as they swiftly became under fire from... tourists? That's all that Nase could figure they were, as they didn't even seem to have a set dress code other than their strange addition of bunny ears to their attire. Weird. Either way, before Nase could audibly snark at this group, one of them fired nearby at the small beastwoman that seemed to be the person in charge of calling the group here. Luckily, the girl that was with 'Sir Pota' over there was quick to protect her from harm, though it was at the risk of her own health and (the real victim) the back of her clothes. After watching them fly off momentarily to safety, Nase's impudent expression swiftly changed as he turned away from Cayle and instead focused on the oncoming 'militia' heading the group's way.
"Alright, Warrior Prince, we don't have any more time for race wars as you see, we can settle whatever you want after this."
Jumping down from the peak they were at, Nase landed in front of the one that shot at the scientist and reeled back his leg as far as he could without slipping on the artificial snow.
"Oi."
With a quick snapping sound, Nase's leg went straight through the cultist's gun, causing the owner to stumble back a bit. Kicking up snow in front of him, which just made the unarmed shooter slide slowly down the hill, Nase flew back to the top to see that the combined efforts of the android Vidar and the small beastman with him had already taken care of all the other ones there. Huh. As Vidar began to question the alien fans that had tried to attack them, Nase turned back to see Carter again, who seemed so fully entranced by the girl he was talking to, Nase didn't think he noticed the fight even happen. About to laugh about this, Nase noticed that not all of the gunners had come from the front. Quickly going into a shock as a bunny-hooded fanatic aimed their weapon at the albino's head, Nase's arm moved on its own to point two fingers at them.
"KID!"
Suddenly, a green laser cut through the air next to Carter's ear, and stabbed straight through the rifle, making it completely unusable. A swift jumping knee strike took the person down afterwards as Nase slowly calmed down after his save.
"... Be careful next time, jeez."
Sweating more from the shock than the effort, Nase turned around and wiped his brow with his now burning(?) arm. Not wanting to have to deal with more of this, Nase hoped that they could get rid of these guys quickly.
"Ow, the hell happened to my hand?"

Vidar had a valid point. Maybe this wasn't.. the worst that could possibly happen. But, it was the worst at the moment. She made a comment about a specific person, not arriving to herself, but somehow Vidar must've overheard. "Huh?" She said, with a visible look of confusion on her features. She didn't state specifically who she was referring to. So how did he..? Suddenly, she would hear a familiar voice behind her and someone tapping her on the shoulder. It was Carter. She turned to face the white haired and greeted him with a soft smile. "Hello.. Carter-san. Nice.. to see you." She said. After hearing what the blonde haired android said next, she might've freaked out a bit. "Hey! I wasn't referring to him. Don't assume! Not that I-." Not that she liked him. Well, maybe a little bit. He was alright.
She turned her back to him, before her slightly pink cheeks became evident. "That's nice of you Carter-san, but I don't think I'm the one in need of protection." She said, without looking at him. She wasn't wrong, was she? She didn't really look at who was actually on top of the mountain, other than Vidar. Well, she knew that they were there, but she didn't really pay much attention to them, not until now. By the looks of it, she could see an orange haired female who seemed to be allied with a Saiyan with blue eyes. She was pretty sure that Koma was also a Saiyan. She didn't know much about these people. She got in a confrontation once with a Saiyan and he wasn't exactly the nicest of them all. He held her up for her motorcycle on this bridge while she was travelling to the Central Lands to enter the West City Women's Tournament.
There was also a small black and white cat and this other young man that seemed to be affiliated with Carter. "Well, I don't think an explanation is needed, as you can see.." She said, pointing at the flying carrot. There wasn't much time to formulate any assumptions after this, as she finally spotted the flying carrot and the people that.. were wearing weird shirts and bunny ears. She didn't speak, but instead raised her suppressed ki a little and began to slowly hover above the ground. "This is gonna take more time than I expected." She said to herself. A random shot came out of nowhere, which headed straight for Jade's arm. She quickly tilted her torso to the side, barely dodging it. It grazed her skin and left a small bruise on her arm and a visible whole in her sweater's sleeve.
While everyone else did their thing, she was simply waiting for the right moment to strike and it came not too long after. Once Vidar made his diversion, Jade rushed in, heading straight through the artificial snow, surprising the ones that weren't disarmed. She would then quickly grab a few of the guns and snap them with her bare hands.. which, she was slightly surprised about. She knew that she had a lot of strength, but the last time she actually went into a confrontation like this was when the Devil's Cookbook Gang was robbing the restaurants of the Western Lands and Juniper, others and herself had to take care of this. "You know, I'd probably be looking for a plot of land or an island for my house, if it weren't for you guys." That was partially the reason why she was flying around the area. She really didn't expect something this crazy to happen. After disarming them, she would dash backwards, just to regroup with the others.

Post by Carter Bane on Aug 18, 2020 22:38:45 GMT -8
Carter was lost to the whole situation, he wanted to ask what was going on, but decided against it. Nase had noticed him now, which meant that only Carter could see the connection. But he didn't get to answer before the argument started. Carter wasn't sure why being a Tuffle was a bad thing, but he did know that Nase had helped him out, and the guy who was speaking was giving off a strange energy.
("He is a Saiyan, and a proud one apparently ")
A Saiyan? Yet another strange term that Carter didn't know about. Would asking be considered rude? Or were they somehow superior? Carter was sure that Nase wasn't a bad guy, but no rage crossed his mind other than him keeping a safe distance from others and trying to look like he knew why he was there. His mind was wandering as his surroundings faded away from him. In that moment, he just felt empty, something was wrong.
("We have hostiles approaching. And they aren't without a few toys.")
Carter could try and fight them, but what about Jade? She said she didn't need protection and even Accel agreed... he wasn't sure why that wasn't calming to him.
("Now would be a good time to arm yourself. Check your hand.")
"My hand but- well, OK."
He held out his hand and a small symbol was in his palm. He closed his hand and as he opened it a small dagger was in his hand.
"Cool but also kinda... deadly. I'm not trying to kill anyone."
("Best to be prepared")
"But isn't a knife a bit mu-"
The shooting has begun and Carter knew a bullet was coming. Every nerve in his body was telling him to throw the knife into the enemy's throat, but he fought against it. His eye glowed red and he instead found himself standing there, watching the fighting unfold around him. His body always moving ever so slightly to dodge any bullets that may have hit him or deflecting them into the chest of his enemies. His mind was nothing but sensory input and his body responded accordingly and in that moment while dodging bullets without really leaving his fixed position he looked up at the large carrot in the sky. He didn't stop looking away from it as he kept dodging and reflecting bullets and always placing his feet back at their original position. He wasn't feeling fear or even excitement, he was just there existing and as one of the men attacking him got too close. Why was he not thinking about it? What was the point of moving when his enemies where weak? What point would there be in acknowledging their presence if their very presence could be very easily erased? Could they not see that they would lose? Why did they come and attack him with such weak weapons? Why were they so stupid as to try? What was the point in using a weapon? His arm swallowed the knife quickly as he soon was not in danger anymore.
Carter blinked his senses returning. His eye had stopped glowing. What had he done? He looked down at his feet and almost threw up. What were those thoughts? Why was this happening? A green laser flew by and hit another rifle.
("What did we do?")
Carter thought he could almost hear the fear in Accel's voice as he turned to the others. What would happen now? His mind moved away from the thought as he looked towards the carrot and his arm changed into the volt cannon. His voice sounded hoarse as he said:
"I don't understand what's happening, but I'm done wasting time."
The volt cannon charged up, but then he stopped himself yet again. He would need a better angle and he would also need everyone else in order to do this properly.
("Carter we should g-")
"No! We aren't done yet...We don't leave until we get it done!"
("Y- Yes Carter.")
Carter pulled his hoodie up and walked over to the group without saying a word, he knew there wasn't much he could say and it's not like he understood it much himself. He looked over at Jade, maybe her presence would calm him...maybe he could explain...but looking at Jade didn't help. He looked away and his chest hurt. He wasn't going to endanger her with his presence nor would he leave her to handle this without him.
Stella was scared, not because Carter had killed but because he had changed... in that moment he had no fear, no pity or mercy. She knew what was happening but wasn't sure how to stop it, in the end the system was starting to confuse the term survival and would have to be corrected in some way. The system was right and yet wrong but Stella was scared not just for herself but for Carter as well... she and Carter had the same thought.
Would there be anything normal about Carter by the end of the integration?
