Thread Theme SongWe join our heroes sometime after the events of the initial construction of Ensadala Island and the settlement there, once again in Pilaf Land for a special sort of martial arts training. In a heady past few hours, Cayle has lead Achido through a Saiyan Mosh Pit concert and bar which is strictly illegal in Pilaf Land but who is going to stop a bunch of Saiyans; through a high class strip club that Cayle had no idea what it was before they entered, and past one of Pilaf Land's famous buffets. It had been a heady day and in the case of the high class strip club they were ran out rather quickly, for being 'under age', or presumed to be. While both were technically 18 physically or around that, they were not 21 and per the bouncer, "This is a high class establishment where you've got to buy booze to see the extra big titties".
Even with their initial adventure spoiled, Cayle had promised Achido a fun time and also promised to take Achido under his wing as his student – so now they would move on to the next part of the day. Cayle had suggested that Achido not eat breakfast, because they were going to top off the day stuffing their faces at a buffet, but that was a ruse. Now in the most neon and shadows dominated part of Neon City, they were able to catch their breath. Cayle's stomach rumbled immensely, but he did not comment on it just yet. The day was just beginning. [261]

Cayle had surprised Achido with some sort of special training in Pilafland, but the trip there was a story in itself. The young blonde man had followed Cayle through several different types of establishments, causing him to wonder what he had truly signed up for! As they Passed by a concert with a bunch of saiyan mosh pitting around, Achido was rather surprised with how violet they were being toward one another, along with the music shaking the ground itself.
Achido looked to Master Cayle with a bit of a confused look, before putting his attention back on their little adventure through Pilafland. "I wonder if Cayle listens to that loud kind of music too? Saiyans are kind of weird." He thought to himself, thinking of what other weird stuff he would see on their trip through Pilafland.
There was so much for the young blonde teen to learn and he was willing to do whatever he could to get stronger, so that him and his friends and family were protected. Achido and Cayle didn’t say much on their adventure, not until the two made their way into the classy strip joint.
Both fighters made their way through, unknown to them that this place was filled with half naked women, dancing for zeni on a stage. Achido looked to the stage and his jaw dropped, eyes widened, unsure how to react to what he was seeing. "Cayle, I don’t think we are supposed to be here.." He called out, while continuing to stare at the naked woman. It didn’t take long for them to get booted out of there for being underage, but that only meant that they could get on with the long trip.
After they ended up passing the buffet into Neon City, Cayle stopped so that they could get a breather before continuing. The blonde teen looked to his new master and smiled lightly. "I have never been through this part of Pilafland or any of those other places. Why are you saiyans so violent all the time? Do you get enjoyment out of beating each other up?" The questions came flooding in, as Achido was genuinely curious about Cayle’s race.

At the concert, Cayle had thought that it was the sort of music that Achido liked. Sai-Rock sounded similar enough to Earthling rock and roll and heavy metal, and he had seen others their age who liked both. This was why Cayle had taken the blonde boy to the concert, and after it was over the next instance was a pure accident. None the less, as they stood now in the shadowy and neon lit streets, Cayle was simply smiling.
“It isn't that we all want to be violent, but I think maybe we've got a closer connection to our primal side than Humans or Tuffles do, and more adrenaline running through our bodies at all times on average.” the Saiyan attacked it scientifically, but then shruggged. “Some in our culture think that being violent is the same thing as being a warrior, so they try to go after that – but a smart warrior doesn't have to be violent to do their job.” and out of the enjoyment of beating each other up? He couldn't say he did, but he knew that other Saiyans often did, and he knew Konja couldn't help but enjoy a fight.
“If you mean Konja? Maybe she just likes you. Saiyan girls get a bit punchy around boys they find attractive, or so I've been told.” he never experienced puberty or adolescence around his fellow Saiyans in an uncontrolled environment, so he couldn't be sure on what he was saying. “And in your case, I genuinely thought you liked that kind of music... But I'm also tryi ng to think of the best way to train you and bring out your own natural martial arts talent.”
He nodded, and then spoke up. “There's a group of thugs around here, they 'beat me up'.” he made it clear in tone they only thought they did, “Earlier, and took the money from wallet. So if you want the promised food that I promised, you're going to have to hunt them down and test your might against them. The first step to mastering this type of martial art is to know how to gauge someone's threat and to make sure you can display the threat you can be to them. Do so now. T hey're all wearing red hoodies and I see them in the neighborhood around us.”

Achido always wanted to know more about the saiyan race and what they were like, so with him being Cayle's student he could learn a lot about the saiyans and other cool things as well. When Cayle answered Achido’s question, the blonde gave him a nod to what he said. "It’s not that I don’t like fighting or anything, I just don’t like fighting against my friends. It causes me to hold back because I don’t want any of them hurt." He paused for a moment, while thinking if Cayle’s words about Konja liking him were true. "Wait, you think Konja likes me?" He added, while his cheeks turned a bright red in color.
As Cayle brought up the music he mentioned earlier and a way to bring out the teen’s true potential, Achido shook his head and grinned. He wasn’t really into that loud guitar plucking music, it was known to give him a headache. "I like music with a good beat. I can’t get into that headbanging music, it just hurts my ears. Hm, I think you are doing just fine, so far! I wouldn’t complain about our training." He responded to his new master, while looking off to his right, just staring off into the distance.
Cayle then mentioned the next step in Achido’s training, which involved him approaching some thugs that had beat up and taken money out from his new master’s wallet. "Wait, you want me to beat them up or what?" The blonde teenager was a bit confused about what his main goal was, so he waited to hear from Cayle once more, before taking off on this little training session. Achido looked up to Cayle, not only because of his strength, but because of his ability to lead those around him and motivate them to better one another.

The Saiyan nodded, trying to get his head around the thought process of what Achido had said about not wanting to hurt his friends. He understood it, but he didn't understand the human's lack of knowledge on the idea of fighting with your friends to get them stronger and thus protect them. Was it possible that Earthlings didn't possess a Zenkai boost? He thought on it a bit more, and perhaps it was – it was then that he saw Achido blushing about the thought of Konja liking him. “I think it's a possibility that she does. She speaks often of you and many Saiyan girls like to spar those who they are romantically attracted to.” Romantically was likely an overstatement, indeed it was hard justify if the average Saiyan truly had a naturally built romantic bone in their body, but he wasn't lying either. It was the closest term to use. “And as far as fighting with your friends... it helps bring out their potential and your own potential, thus helping protect them in the long term.” this was Cayle talking in his 'masterly voice', which was the same thing as his normal voice if he tried to take on an old man from a martial arts movie's accent. To the training, Cayle could understand that – it hurt one's ears and it was useful for training, but like many Earthling things he could assume it was an acquired taste. When asked if Achido was to beat them up or not, Cayle simply smiled. “You're welcome to try to talk them into good sense, but if it doesn't work then try to get it back by force.” Of course some of the thugs would fight, some would try to gang up on Achido, and some would try to rush away with their ill gotten gains. Each would be a form of training for Achido, and so too would convincing people to just give up the money without struggle, because that was a form of leadership and martial skill in and of itself. It was good that Achido had found someone to look up to because his own family was always too busy to actually spend time with him, or even say hello when he would come home from school. This is why the blonde teenager went out on his own to prove to them that he could be whoever he wanted without their help. Cayle seemed to be the one who would push him into liking this whole fighting thing, and possibly making a leader out of Achido in the end.
As for Cayle responding to Achido about Konja, his face lit up a bit more at his words, but he didn’t want to seem too excited, so he turned a bit to where his face wasn’t showing. "I mean, she is cute.." He paused, then turned to face his master once more. "She brings me Taco King, we talk, we train, and we get along really well!" He couldn’t help but to blurt out some of the things he liked about the saiyan woman.
With Cayle explaining how fighting friends could strengthen one another and possibly bring out their potential. Achido nodded to the saiyan, understanding that and taking the information to use at a later time. When he mentioned the red hooded gang members, the expression on Achido’s face shifted to serious in an instant. "I have a feeling these goons won’t be so easy to deal with." He muttered to his master, hoping that the saiyan wouldn’t hear the bit of fear in his voice.
Achido Nakamura looked to Cayle and nodded, then looked to the surrounding neighborhood, and began to levitate up into the sky, looking around the small area to spot out the hooded figures. "Looks to me that there are several red hooded figures out by the basketball court." He thought to himself, then flew off to their location, in hopes of returning to his master with the stolen money.
When the blonde teenager landed outside the basketball court, he examined the group from the fences and looked to see exactly what he was dealing with. They seemed to be having a little three on three with one of the gang members refereeing the game. Achido had to come up with a way to approach them all without getting his butt beat by all seven of them at once, so he walked around the fence and sat down on the bench, watching the group play amongst themselves.
As the gang was still shooting around and playing their game, one of the guys shot the ball and it bounced off the rim towards Achido. He grinned a bit, before stopping the ball with his foot and looking up to the group. Two of them slowly walked over with their hands up, hoping the blonde teen would pass them the ball. "I was told that you guys might know where my friend’s missing money went. Is this true?" He asked in a firm tone, standing his ground for the time being.
Both guys looked to one another, then back to Achido, and laughed at what he had just said to them. “And if we did? What would some small fry like you do about it?” One of the guys spoke out to the blonde teen, while stepping up to get in his face. Achido knew that this was about to get ugly, but he remained still and looked the man in the eye. For a moment, Achido looked the guy in the eyes, while glancing over to his friend, just in case if he were to join in unexpectedly.
In a flash, the blonde teen pulled his head back and whipped it forward to headbutt the man in the nose, knocking out cold and down onto the concrete. The second guy looked to Achido in a stunned manner, not sure whether he should jump in to help fend off the blonde teen, or run off to the other six of his friends. But Achido had other plans. The martial Artist quickly rushed to the second guy and speared him to the ground, while throwing punches down toward his face. Most of the punches were being blocked, but a few of them landed, causing the man to crack the back of his head off the concrete ,knocking him out along with his other friend.
There were five others left and Achido knew that it wouldn’t be easy, now that it seemed he would get ambushed by the rest of the gang. The blonde martial artist stood from the unconscious body, while staring down the five others who were now rushing toward him. With a quick reflex, Achido put his hand out, forcing a kiai to push out from his palm, knocking the group back against the fence of the basketball court. This would give Achido time to come up with a plan for how he would take on the rest of the gang.
Only one of the gang members stood up after the invisible kiai attack Achido did to defend himself from being jumped by five gang members. He smiled and watched as the dark haired guy brushed off his pants, before looking to Achido with a slick grin on his face. Before Achido knew it, the man came running toward him in an attempt to do something fancy, but the blonde teen moved to his left just a bit, then tripped the guy to his face. He then dropped an elbow to his back and laid there with most of his weight on the guy’s back. "I didn’t want trouble, but here I am, kicking your butts all over this court!" He said to the man struggling to move from his current position.
It was then that Achido saw the other moving from the corner of his eye, so he slammed the head of the guy off the ground, knocking him out along with the other three on the court. This was getting messy and Achido was only just messing around with them for the time being. He stood from the ground, cracked his neck and watched as the remaining four stood from the ground and talked to one another. Achido couldn’t help but to laugh at the pathetic show these gang members have put on, then it hit him right then and there. "Wait, you guys beat up Cayle? Yeah, right!!" He called out, then laughed hysterically.
Two of the four stepped forward and pointed to Achido, then they both came running toward the martial artist with their fist balled up and ready to unleash hell on the teenager. The blonde teen simply smiled at their approach, while getting into a defensive stance and eyeing them both up to get a better view of what was to come.
When they both came in with punches towards the teen, Achido managed to evade them with ease, followed up with a quick jab to the one on the right, while crouching down and flinging himself up with a massive uppercut to the other gang member. Both men dropped to the ground instantly, which caused the last two men to look at one another, then putting their full attention back to Achido. The blonde teen began to walk in their direction at a slow pace, while slamming his right fist into the opposite palm. His eyes never left the final two gang members, nor did his focus dull down from the last five fighters he beat up.
As Achido closed the distance, one of the last members rushed forward, then jumped and flipped over Achido, while landing on the other side of the blonde teen. It seemed that he was surrounded and had to put his focus on two separate spots. He looked to his left and right, then sunk back down in a defensive position. "Come on, i’m getting hungry!" He called out to them both, insinuating that this would be short and sweet.
Both men rushed forward at the same time and both threw a singular punch toward the blonde teen. Achido simply rolled forward just before the impact, causing both men to strike each other, knocking them out instantly upon impact. "Well, that was boring.." He said in a soft tone, before snagging the wallets of each gang member and stuffing them into his pockets. The martial artist, then sensed out where Cayle was, and flew off in his direction with the money he asked for.
Once he landed in front of the saiyan, Achido began to empty out his pockets, causing seven wallets and some spare zeni to fall out to the ground in front of them both. "Hey, you said they beat you up! There is no way that those bums took your zeni.." He said in a curious tone, while succeeding in his current objective from Cayle.

If Achido had actually been watching Cayle Pota, son of Pota Potaset, long in his line while Achido Nakamura went to work, the blonde human boy would have likely known something was up far before fighting those hoodlums. Aside from opening a capsule which produced an ice cooler and pulling a soda out of it the Saiyan would-be warlord was watching the human's every move. Even the way that the thug's lips moved in comparison to Achido's to make out what was being said.
The icy blue eyed Saiyan's vision remained fixated on the scene, and he took notes, grading the human both in his problem solving, his martial arts actions, and the way he moved in dealing with the threats. When Achido finally came back, Cayle was smirking as he swallowed the last of the cherry flavored cola that he had been drinking.
“I mean, perhaps I should have been more clear. They actually robbed some of the Taco King employees in the area first – and then I tested how they acted. I figured rather than beating them into a pulp for attacking my workers, I could use them as a test for you.”
The Saiyan offered his hand for the wallet, which had been bought for him by Tiger Lily. You could tell because it was a Pilaf and Gang leather wallet, something that Cayle would never buy or have accepted from anyone but Ty.
“That's the foundation of my martial style, Achido. Use the ingredients that you've got to make what you can, don't waste a thing because you don't know what is going to be next in the list of ingredients. I also wasn't strictly lying. They were able to beat me, but I don't know if they could do it again. They used some of the money they stole to buy some illicit substance that seems to make normal fighters capable of unlocking their spirit power and compete with super class martial artists for a short period of time.”
With that said, the vice president of Taco King Enterprises put the empty bottle of soda in the ice chest, taking out another for himself and tossing one to Achido before shrinking the Ice Chest back into its capsule size and pocketing it.
“But the question is, if they were major threats how would you have been able to tell? Have you been taught how to sense spiritual energy yet, Achido?”

Achido was not much of a fighter, but he did what had to be done. Even if he wasn't actually supposed to beat them up, it seemed that they really deserved it anyways! The blonde teen landed just a few feet from his friend, Cayle Pota with a slight grin upon his face. "Ah, there it is." He said, as he pulled the Emperor Pilaf wallet from the ground and handed it over to Cayle.
The blonde teen listened to the real story of who they had jumped at first, but it didn't matter to Achido because he just wanted to make sure the saiyan had the stolen Zeni returned. "Either way, that was a nice little warm up!" He said to Cayle, before listening to the man speak up of his style of Martial Arts. Achido stood there with his hands placed on his hips and eyes on Cayle, listening to every word he had to say and taking that information in at the same time.
After Cayle finished up the small speech, the saiyan walked over and opened the chest, placing his bottle inside, while grabbing another for Achido, and tossing it to him in the process. The blonde teen quickly grabbed the bottle out of the air and waited several seconds, before twisting the cap off, and chugging away at the ice cold liquid. "This stuff is amazing. My parents never let me drink soda when I was younger. It was either water, milk, or juice." He said to the saiyan after taking a drink.
Cayle then spoke once more, asking Achido if he was taught how to sense spiritual energy. He shook his head lightly before responding to the saiyan. "It was something I caught onto after some time, but I was never properly taught how to sense others around me." He replied to Cayle, while bringing the bottle back to his lips to get another drink of the soda. The sweetness of the drink was enough to make him smile, but what he was ready for was the rush of energy he would get from it sooner or later.

“Warm up huh? Haha, that's the spirit, Achido!” Cayle grinned, sometimes it felt like Achido was more of a Saiyan than Tiger Lily, despite the fact Achido Nakamura was just a human. “Now we're going to visit a warehouse, but before we do you need to put this headband on.” Cayle said, before putting his own on. “After that and checking on it, we'll grab some actual food.” Soda was good and all but it wasn't filled with valuable nutrients and really just good for a pep in one's step. Now they just needed to head to the warehouse, where they could put a boot in someone's tooth. At the warehouse, a pair of big bouncer types stood there, crossing their arms and trying to prevent the duo from entering. Cayle moved rapidly, and viciously. After a pair of punches to their kidneys both behemoths were bowled over and after that, Cayle slammed his elbow into their backs, sending them into the ground and unconsciousness. The Saiyan would then move to open the door and gesture to Achido, of course when inside they'd find a hostile gang of people wearing capybara headbands because they thought it was a sign of toughness. Achido smiled as Cayle got excited at the fact that the teen was calling the gang fight a warm up. It was true, though. Achi was just warmed up and ready to keep going, but it seemed that Cayle Pota had something else planned for the two, or at least that is what Achido was thinking. It was then that Cayle pulled out a weird headband and tried to hand it over to the blonde teen. "What the heck is that? Bunny ears, really? But why?" He slowly reached out and grabbed the headband, and placed it on his head just like Cayle Pota had done.
Once Cayle spoke of checking on the warehouse, they would get some food after. That was enough to put a smile on the teen's face once more. "Well, if we're going to be kicking some butt and getting food after, I don't mind looking like a fool for awhile." He added, before following Cayle to their next location. Achido had no idea where they were going and nothing looked familiar, but he remained by Cayle's side and waited until further instructions.
With the two coming close to the warehouse, there were two guards standing in front of the entrance. Achido stopped and thought for a moment on what to do, but before he could talk, he noticed that Cayle was already on the move. "Damnit, Cayle! I want to have some fun too!" he called out, running to the entrance of the warehouse to meet up with his mentor.
Just as they entered the warehouse, they were greeted by a gang of several different men and women. The blonde teen looked to Cayle for a second, then back to the gang, and spoke up. "How should we do this? With words or our fist? Either way, I an ready to break some faces." He said to Cayle, while eyeing up the group of fighters.

Cayle raised his eyebrows at Achido's question. Any super class martial artist could probably deal with this group on their own with ease, but Cayle was here mostly to help his young human friend in getting a bit more confidence in his martial arts and also testing Achido's total martial prowess so he knew where it was he'd be beginning to train the human at.
“You decide, and you take them all on. I'll only be here if you find you can't handle it.” the Saiyan said, being upfront about his intention to make Achido make the decision on how to handle this.
And as Cayle did, a lumbering mass of muscles and fat in a cut off jacket with the rabbit ears would come rushing at Achido and Cayle, along with a pair of fighters with a spinning wench chain and a sword. Cayle immediately sidestepped them, leaping atop a stack of oil barrells, and crossed his arms to watch it.
“Kung Fu Hustle, Achido!”

Achido gave his mentor a confident nod and before he could even make a decision, a group of the thugs rushed in with their weapons and fist swinging. When Cayle managed to get away and watch the whole thing from a higher ground, Achido was busy trying his best to keep his distance from the sword being swung at his face. "Woah! Calm down, buddy!" He called out, while ducking a fist that came at the back of his head and throwing a swift side kick to the gut of the man behind him, hoping to drop him from the fight for good.
With the thug continuing to swing the long blade at the young man, Achido continued to duck and dodge as much as he could in hopes of tiring out the man so he could finally put an end to the sword attacks. As the sword came slashing horizontally, Achi ducked and rolled between the legs of the being, while jumping up and aiming a superman punch at one of the more muscular thugs, hoping to at least knock them away to gain some distance from them for the moment.
Just as Achi thought he was getting ahead, the chain came slashing down upon his back. "GAAAAHH!" He screamed out in pain for only a short time, before he quickly retaliated with a spinning heel kick aimed at the temple of the thug. He dropped the weapon and as Achido landed back to his feet, he scooped up the wrench chain and began to beat the thug relentlessly with it until the being dropped to the ground. The anger flooded his mind and clouded his judgment, causing him to be open to anything, especially a sharp sword..
The pain was constant but Achido wasn’t going to let that get the best of him now because the thug wielding the sword came rushing at him attempting to slash down at the spine of the human. Achido sensed the man at the last second and sidestepped the sword, while slamming his knee into the gut of the thug. The sword slipped from the giant hands of the thug and hit the ground. Achido finally followed the knee up with both hands gripped together and crashing them down on the spine of the thug.
Achido was now breathing heavily and still in a bit of pain from the whip of the chain against his back, but he managed to turn and look at his mentor with a slight grin forming. "That wasn’t so bad." He chuckled and began to shake his head slightly from his own sense of humor.
