After creating some distance, the little Majin spun around to check where the chaser had gotten. Simply running around wasn’t as fun as facing foes head on, you know! Her eyes darted around, ready to spot the boy who had... vanished? “Wha...?” Again a tiny question mark floated above her head. In her confusion, she completely forgot to look up. The shout caught her attention too late. Much too late. Raw speed was one thing, but agility had never been her strong suit. In her attempt to dodge to the side, she only managed to slip directly in the way of the incoming blue missile. A rubbery bonk echoed between the machines. The chaser managed to nail his target right in the chest, practically tackling her against the floor. It elicited a squeak reminiscent of a rubber toy. “Eep~!” Just as he had planned, the remaining momentum then carried him swiftly out of tag range. In fact, the soft handful acted like a bouncy springboard, launching him even further. If he wasn’t quick in his movements, he might even crash into something. It seemed her brand of chaos was contagious. However, the little Majin didn’t remain stunned for long. With a whistle of hot steam, she bounced back onto her feet. The gentle gold in her eyes flared into fiery orange. Her smile sharpened into a mischievous smirk. She pulled her fist back, as if winding up a punch. “Can you dodge this~?” With the chiming words as the only warning, her entire arm suddenly shot forward like a living rubber band. The surprising move covered the distance in a blink of an eye, snaking past and between the machinery. It wasn’t just a simple tap either. No, the stretchy arm carried enough strength to slam an average person against the nearest wall. Hit or miss, upon reaching and slapping anything, the rubbery limb snapped back to the girl. This was getting way more dynamic than Baccer would have anticipated in the beginning of their training session. The feeling of air rushing past him as the gravity chamber did it's best to hold both of them down, his hand finding purchase and tackling Zam as he was relieved from the shameful title of "it". It was not only fun but also great training for the insect-like boy who wasn't quite aware how much of a mess they could make to the otherwise well-kept training room around them. Nor did he care at the moment if he was being honest And so as Baccer bounced off his rubbery friend his excitement at the plan worked turned to surprise, then panic, as he was carried way further away than he had anticipated, crashing into a weight holder and knocking it over, causing the weights to scatter about the room. However, now wasn't the time to be dazed as his adversary had just launched her own counterattack. Luckily for him, his reflexes were quite honed. His decision-making... not so much. As the pink stretchy arm approached him he picked up one of the bigger weights, trying to use it as a shield. If he put it up in time it should block her arm. If not well... he was it. However, what he didn't calculate for was Zam's capacity to grip. And with how tightly he was holding onto the weight, they would surely be put in collision course by the time the pink Majin snapped her arm back to her. WC: 259/2716 Majin Zam

Instead of tagging the clever boy back, the deft girl caught the weight he was using as a shield. That didn’t count, nope... But she wasn’t deterred so easily! Her hand latched onto the weight, dragging it and the boy along for a short ride. Next stop... The opposing wall. Another heavy crash shook the gravity gym. An expensive leg curl machine was totalled completely. One of the weight racks toppled over. Something shattered, scattering glass shards everywhere. A tiny weight rolled along the floor before clattering over like a thrown coin. At this rate there soon wouldn’t be much of the training room left... But that was a tiny detail when having fun~! Once the dust settled, the full extent of the crash was revealed. The weight had embedded itself partially into the back wall, right through a full body mirror. ...Aaaand the Majin’s torso. She laid there, limp and lifeless, with a gaping hole in her. However, just as the ominous silence started setting in, she suddenly stirred. Reminiscent of living pudding, she slipped free of the gruesome trap. Her hand erupted from beneath the pile of weights. It aimed to snatch the bugman by the ankle. If she succeeded, she would’ve yanked him against the floor before flinging him away with jubilant glee. “Tag, you’re it~!” And if not, well, then the chase would continue. In either case, mischievous giggling would fill the gym. Hopefully Baccer was keeping track of time in that sharp mind of his, because Zam certainly was not. She didn’t even know how to read a clock. Well, not a real one anyway. Her internal clock, on the other hand, was impeccable. It could tell perfectly when it was snack time, nap time... Aaand any other super important time. Right now, it was play time~! WC: 309 | 3082 Starting natural PL: 10,407 Tags: Baccer

As Baccer felt Zam's hand clang against his makeshift shield, he grinned with glee. However, that didn't last long at the flaw of his full-proof plan was exploited. He was sent flying across the training chamber, smashing against a neighbouring wall. It was a good thing this chamber was made so powerful people could train in it, or they may have brought the whole thing down by now. Luckily Baccer avoided being caught by too much debris, just a few shards of glass that were easy enough to heal. It seemed his friend wasn't as lucky tho. Even though Baccer knew Zam could heal, seeing the Majin caught beneath all this weight still made him worry a bit "umm. Zam, are you ok?" he asked. However, this moment of weakness was exactly what Zam needed, as she gripped his ankle and flung him away. These stretchy arms were an advantage he didn't consider when thinking of this game. They were about halfway to a minute at this point. And while he was ahead, he was it. If she could keep him away for the remaining time she would easily win. He couldn't let that happen Baccer recovered from being flung and landed on the floor of the chamber, trying to think of a plan as to how he could get the upper hand. Then he looked at the weights Zam and he had knocked over, and got a devious idea. He grabbed one of them and flung it towards Zam in a high arc "hey Zam, catch!" he said. However, this was a diversion. As soon as he threw the frisbee he dashed underneath it, using his maximum speed to try and blitz zam, hopefully landing himself another tag. He already knew something as light as this weight would not be enough to harm the Majin, so he wasn't worried about that. All that mattered now was winning. Man, playing with someone who was of comparable strength to him was so much fun WC: 333/3049 Starting PL: 7996 Majin Zam

Sometimes, being honest and innocent was just an invitation for trouble. Especially when facing someone... devious! As expected, Zam’s glimmering gaze was immediately drawn to the thrown disk. Excitement sparked in her eyes. “Ooh, okay~!” She raised her hands and shuffled back and forth like an excited puppy. Her grabby hands reached for the shiny projectile. Almost got it! ...And then the blue missile slammed into her again. They both went for another tumble across the gym. The improvised frisbee left a deep dent in the floor. Yet another piece of expensive equipment was turned to modern art. The janitor was going to freak out when they saw this mess. Soon after the crash, the small Majin shook the dizziness out of her head with a miffed pout. “Hey, no fair!” Throwing a thing and not letting her catch it was totally cheating! And even worse, now she was it... She did not like that, not one bit! Hmph! She puffed her cheeks with a childish huff. Gouts of steam shot from the holes lining her arms and chest. Her power suddenly spiked into a burning aura around her. She launched herself towards the boy like a living firework. Some martial artists called the move Dragon Dash, but she called it... “Get back here!” ...Uh, sure, let’s go with that. Hit or miss, the pink rocket would keep going. Upon hitting anything, she bounced in a random direction. She started resembling a ball as she kept ricocheting between the floor, the ceiling and the walls. Every bounce was a little faster than the previous one. Stronger too. If she managed to touch him, she would try to keep distance. But if not, she would constantly zip closer and closer. Her drive to win burned as brightly as the aura engulfing her body. She wanted to win! ‘Cuz she never lost! Too bad that time didn't care about anyone's wants or needs. It just kept ticking away... And there simply weren't enough seconds left in the clock. WC: 338 | 3420 Starting natural PL: 10,407 Tags: Baccer

Baccer grinned at his ingenuity, as his plan seemed to work. Now he was on a steady course for winning. It seemed the hyper-tactical mind the red ribbon installed him with was coming in handy. Definitely not in the way they thought it would tho. Now wasn't the time to get complacent though. There was still time for Zam to win, and it seemed now she was trying to overrun him with sheer speed. Luckily, his opponent decided to use his signature move "heh. You'll never catch me with that. Behold, the power of Dual Dragon Dash" he grinned, showing off his technique. Baccer was using his wings as a propulsion mechanism, allowing him to chain bursts of speed for a quick change of direction and longer dash duration. It was truly genius. But as always, Zam had the upper hand in endurance. As she bounced around she got faster and faster, making his margin of error slimmer and slimmer. But now there were only 3 seconds left. If he finished the game as it he would have lost in spirit, and he certainly couldn't let that happen. But that last bounce Zam did came in an especially tricky trajectory, only leaving him one option "It's all or nothing" he said as he dashed to dodge it... straight into a wall. It was the only clear route. But with zam's trajectory, she could still have managed to tag him at the last moment before he left range. Either way, the round was over now, and the once pristine training room now looked like a warzone. Whoever owned this would certainly be mad if he found them here. But that was not of the cu7rrent moment. For now, the teens had a victor to declare, and no boring training room would stop them from doing just that WC: 306/3355 Starting PL: 7996 Majin Zam

Bounce by bounce, the ricocheting rocket drew closer. Her aura burned brighter. Hotter. The intense energy was beginning to leave scorch marks on the impact spots. Despite the enormous amounts of energy she was spending every second, she showed no signs of fatigue. No slowing down, no sweat, not even gasped breaths. She was relentless. Every zip and swipe was getting closer. While she couldn’t hope to keep up with the boy’s refined agility, she closed the gap with sheer speed and effort. Whoever said tag wasn’t a contest of power had never seen a Majin play it. Finally the chaotic creature had her foe cornered. She was a mere blur as she shot forward. Her hand reached out... But at the very last second, Baccer slipped out of her reach. He slammed into a wall and she crashed through a drinking fountain. Water started spraying wildly. Deep cracks spread across the walls and the floor. It was a small miracle the ceiling didn’t come down too. In the background, the gravity machine beeped. Emergency shutdown, the screen announced in big, bold letters. The rumbling stopped and the gravity returned to normal. A deep silence filled the broken training room. Game over. As the dust settled, a triumphant shout echoed across the gym. “Tag, you’re it~!” Zam’s stretchy arm had once again found its way to Baccer. Apparently that didn’t count as cheating. She hopped, flipped and bounced backwards to get some distance again. Her gleeful taunts punctuated the springy motions. “Nyeh hee, you can never beat me~!” ...Except that the time was already up. Had been for several seconds by now, even before she had caught him. Her internal clock was still stuck on play time. If the boy banked on playing with her until she got tired, well, he would be here for a while... A long while. WC: 317 | 3737 Starting natural PL: 10,407 Tags: Baccer

Baccer groaned as he pushed himself out of that dent he'd created in the chamber wall. Phew, he'd managed to slip by. And the gravity machine seemed to be out of juice either way. It seemed this was all they could do in terms of training. Quite a bummer, but they'd managed to get quite a good training session in. And besides, winning felt good- did she just say "you're it"?. Baccer blinked and looked at Zam, who didn't seem to have gotten the memo that the game was over "nono. The minute is over Zam. I was it for 25 seconds, and you were it for 35. That means i won" complex calculations were something his brain could do even in the heat of battle, a perk of the heightened intelligence his DNA granted him. In retrospect, these two were polar opposites in terms of thought. Zam was smart because of adaptability and wits, while Baccer was extraordinarily intelligent when it came to tactics and calculations. If anyone was watching them they would no doubt find it fascinating, the way a bio-android and a Majin interacted buuut now that the chamber was wrecked, there was nobody the COULD really be looking at them. Not without being crushed anyway "besides, if we trained here any longer this whole place would collapse on us. And I would like being able to come back here every now and then" the bugboy explained looking around at the chamber. Only a few machines were still intact, and all the walls now had deep cracks on them. If this was any normal room, it'd have already come crashing down on both of them. To little effect, but getting rubble off of him would be such a bother. He just hoped his companion would understand what he was trying to say, and perhaps seek out an alternative form of entertainment. Or perhaps he could teach her some poses. Maybe the best way to make Zam less murderous was to introduce her to the superhero's line of work. Hmmm WC: 342/3697 Starting PL: 7996 Majin Zam

The playful taunting was cut short by such a simple line. Zam came to a skidding stop. Her shoes sounded like a scratch of a record needle against the floor. “What...?” She stared blankly at the boy, unsure if she heard that right. What... was he talking about...? Word by word, her expression soured. Her head drooped and her messy hair cast a grim shadow over her features. She fell utterly silent and still, like a statue. There was a faint whistle in the air... Like someone had forgotten a teapot to boil. When the Android finished his explanation, the Majin had a slightly different opinion. “Cheater...” The mutter was followed by a weak sniffle. Watery pearls formed in the corner of her eyes. Her lips curled into a determined pout and her trembling hands balled into tight fists. Big girls didn’t cry... But she sure did. Her golden gaze flared into fierce crimson. “That’s not how it works, you cheater!” A heavy stomp punctuated her frustration. The floor cracked further beneath her strength. That strange whistling sound kept growing louder. Suddenly several streams of scalding steam erupted from the holes lining the girl’s body. The pressure let out a shrill whistle as she quite literally fumed. She aimed an accusing point at the boy. “You’re it, so that means you’re losing! You’re just saying all that confusing stuff because you can’t beat me otherwise!” She flailed furiously and shook her head. “If you won’t play fair, then I don’t wanna play with you anymore! I thought you were my friend, but... You’re a total meanie!” Her power spiked. A pink aura flared around her, blowing away dust and rubble. The entire building trembled. “I HATE YOU!”With that final shout, the crying girl rushed off. ...Um, well, more like blasted off. She launched herself out of the room, right through the nearest window and down to the bustling city streets below. She was even faster than during their game. The boy had no hope of keeping up with her now... Not after the exhausting training at least. Her strange energy signature soon faded into distance as she vanished into the urban chaos. Looking for her was pointless. She didn’t want to be found. A budding friendship was a fragile, little thing... And Baccer had just trampled it by accident. Well... Just another lesson scientist couldn’t teach him, right? Right... ((Zam has fled...))WC: 412 | 4149 Starting natural PL: 10,407 Tags: Baccer

Baccer's eyes widened at the sudden mood shift. This was certainly... unexpected. He'd followed the rules perfectly, thus he won. All his programming assured him he was correct... so why all the anger? "But I explained the rules at the beginning, this is how the game is pla-" he wasn't able to finish his sentence as the pink Majin bolted off. Even if he could chase her, Baccer was way too confused for that at the moment, simply looking outside the window in disbelief as she bolted off. Weird... he did everything correctly, right?. Man, curse his lack of social interaction algorithms. Well, they'd still gotten quite a bit of training in at least. This was still quite a peculiar situation though. He suddenly found himself all alone in this nearly-collapsed training room. Now, he could just wait for someone to find him and explain himself... but getting into trouble with the owner of this place was the last thing he wanted right now, opting to instead bolt off. As he vaulted down the window and into the bustling streets, he could already feel the burning on his muscles. Yeah, that was the stuff. Now, where to go next. Hmm. This "city life" was quite fun thus far, maybe heading southward would pay off. More people to fight, more vistas to observe. Yeh, that would be the best course of action. He was still miffed about what happened with Zam, but given her previous track record, she wouldn't stay angry at him for long. At least he hoped that would be the case. Well, no need to contemplate on mistakes he didn't make -at least in his own mind-. And thus, he would start on his grand journey southward. There were still things to do and see, and he would take full advantage of his newfound freedom WC: 307/4004 Majin Zam
