FInally, after hours of travelling, the two superpowered teens finnally arrived at satan city. Baccer had raced Zam there, and had lost by quite a wide margin. Even though his sprinting speed was greater, he ran out of stamina way too fast. But hey, if they could find that training chamber and use it, that will definitely help him improve on that regard. As the treeling broke, they both found themselves on a hill overlooking a grand city. It was packed with tall building and modern architexture. Colorful parks and cutesy floating cars made sure the infrastructure didn't look too artificial. And it's crowning monument was a huge building in the center, probably where the chamber was. Overall, it was a marvel to behold. As Baccer took a moment to catch his breath, he looked over at Zam and grinned "so... what do you think?. pretty, isn't it?" he said with a hint of pride in his voice. He sure knew how to find cool places. But just standing here would not bring them anywhere. He had to go and find this elusive training chamber. As he took off, he motioned Zam to follow him "Come on, i bet it's even prettier close up. Maybe we can even play tag with the cars" his own teenage nature was catching up to him at that point, the wonder of exploring this new place causing his mask of seriousness to fall and reveal his own jovial nature. Welcomed by warm sunshine, the two travelers arrived at the newest jewel of Southern Lands, Satan City. Zam came to a skidding stop at the top of the hill, nearly tumbling down again. Even with the long trek behind them, she didn’t seem the slightest bit tired. No panting, no sweating. If anything, her excitement was burning stronger by the moment. That had been the theme of their race here as well. Where regular beings, natural and engineered alike, grew tired from constant motion, she was the exact opposite. Her speed had been steadily growing, until she had left the boy in dust during the last stretch. Majins worked in mysterious ways... Almost like her energy was limitless... Buuut that was just a silly myth, right? Right! The curious creature watched in awe at all the shiny things ahead of them. Big houses, weird cars, pretty parks... Her earlier grumpiness was long gone. Gentle gold gleamed in her gaze again. She met the question with excited nodding. “Yup yup! Super pretty!” While the boy started leading the way, she stayed there for a moment. Her tiny nose twitched as she took in the scents. She smelled... pancakes... hot dogs... Ooh, there! Ice cream! The pinky promise was still fresh in her mind, of course. She had her priorities in perfect order. First ice cream, then fun and games! Without wasting another moment, the girl hurried after the boy. Tag sounded fun, but first... “Let’s go get ice cream!” She was very insistent about that. Accelerating again, she followed her nose into a park aaaand... Bingo! An ice cream stand! An elderly man tending the stand quirked an ice cream as the Majin rushed up to him. Now, a pink girl wasn’t something he had ever seen, but he knew a customer when he saw one. “And what would you have, young lady?” The politeness was paid back in kind. “Chocolate, please!” With the motions of a seasoned veteran, he rolled a perfect cone for the girl. Holding up the finished treat, the old man extended his hand. “Now that’ll be...” He was cut short when the creature suddenly stretched her arm and tried to snatch the treat. The bewildered seller blinked and yanked the ice cream back. “H-hold on, you gotta pay for this...” Zam paused. Imaginary gears started turning. Pay...? Suddenly her eyes twinkled. Ooh, she knew this one! Smiling brightly, she chimed back. “Let’s negotiate! Give me what I want and I’ll let you live~!” The cheery tone didn’t quite match the words. It didn’t take a detective to figure out where the small demon had learned something like that. She leveled her hand at the old man and energy started crackling between her fingers. As Baccer entered the city, he would marvel at how tall the buildings were, how the streets looked. He knew capsule corp had made them, creating a bit of uneasiness in him. However, he was here for a reason: training, and he wouldn't let the humans that initially held him back to hold him back any more. With prideful stride in his step, he walked forward.... uuuuntil Zam reminded him of the pinky promise they made. He let out a nervous chuckled and rubbed the back of his neck. The wonders of the city had totally not caused him to forget all about his promise. Nope, not even a chance. He quickly nodded and followed Zam towards an ice cream stand "mm, this one smells delicious. I may have one too after all" he said, his spirits still high from how well their visit seemed to be going thus far As Zam asked for her own cone of icecream, he asked for a strawberry/ Banana cone. He was ashamed to admit it, but that was the only cone of icecream he knew, given a scientist was once kind enough to give him one as a reward for a completed experiment. When the matter of payment came up, Baccer facepalmed. Of course. He'd totally forgotten. Luckily, he had gathered a few Zeni from odd jobs. Well... one odd job involving motorcycles. But his money was almost all depleted, this purchase would need the last of his Zeni. So with a heavy heart, he sighed and prepared to give the Zeni... uuuuntil Zam threatened the seller in no uncertain terms that she would kill him if he didn't give her ice cream. Baccer's eyes widened at how easy she was to resort to murder "No!. Wait, here you go sir, 1000 Zeni" he said, quickly interjecting and lowering Zam's hand so it wouldn't hit the man. Who had taught her to resort to violence upon any sign things were not going her way?. Sure, he himself was not afraid to get violent to get the stuff he wanted, but not kill a person at the drop of a hat. He may need to have some words with Zam later on But that was all stuff for the future. The now hinged on this man's reaction. Would he accept the money and go on with his day, or make a fuss out of it. The creature that was offering the money was way weirder than the Majin herself. Definitely of no earthling origin that's for sure. That could certainly throw some people off. But the alternative would be a ki blast to the face if the pink menace was to be believed, and this bug...thing was at least trying to help him in a way. But no matter what he chose, this would definitely be the most intense an ice-cream transaction would have ever gotten for him WC: 484/729 Starting Natural PL: 7996 Majin Zam

Zam was a quick learner. For example, she had recently learned from her friend Miss Doggy that she shouldn’t make big blasts near ice cream, because then the ice cream gets ruined. So instead, she prepared a tiny blast! As tiny as she could make anyway... But before she could fire, her friend suddenly interrupted her. “No...?” What did he mean no? And there was that weird word again. Zeni. What was it good for anyway? She cocked her head, trying her hardest to understand. On the bright side, the utter confusion made the crackling energy fade away. Meanwhile, the old clerk shifted his baffled stare between the two teens. Just when he had thought the day couldn’t get any stranger he finds himself face to face with a giant, blue... cricket? Cockroach? He had no idea anymore. “Uh... Sure...” Carefully he accepted the payment and handed over the cones. One for the boy. “Here you go, son.” And one for the strange, pink girl. “Run along now, young lady.” As soon as the weird duo was out of the earshot, the old man sighed and shook his head. “Kids play the strangest games these days...” It was that gosh darned television giving them all these weird ideas, he solemnly mused. While walking along, the small Majin happily licked her chilly treat. It was the best thing on a warm day! Between the sloppy licks, she cast a pondering glance towards her friend. Sooo, he didn’t just hit that guy and take his stuff. Hm. “...You’re weird.” The comment was flat and blunt like getting bopped with a rolled up newspaper. She didn’t really elaborate either. As usual. “Sooo, where are we going?” She had no idea. There was so much to see here that she was just following along at this point. At least the tasty treat would keep her busy for a while. But once it ran out... The boy had better have a plan... WC: 332 | 797 Starting natural PL: 10,407 Tags: Baccer

As they walked away from the ice cream stand, baccer exhaled in relief. Man, it was difficult to reign this one in. Then came her comment about Baccer being weird. That caused him to furrow his brow. She was about to kill a man over a cone of ice cream and HE was the weird one? "No, you are weird" he said with childish grumpiness "you were about to kill that man over ice cream. Who taught you to treat people that way?. If he dies, he won't be able to make ice cream ever again. People are not just toys you know. They laugh and cry. And they fear, they fear US. If someone blows me or you up, we'll just come back. But when a human goes 'boom' that's it. They don't get to treat everything like a game!" he said, but then his eyes widened. Before he'd realised it he'd gone off on a tangent. He did have some earthling cells in him after all. These people were very much beneath him. But having them die like that brought him no joy. Zam didn't seem to understand what she was doing was wrong, or why. Which made her all the more dangerous to these people. However, it also meant she wasn't doing it out of malice, and could actually be persuaded to think a bit more before blowing stuff up... or at least, that's what Baccer hoped As the silence between the two grew, he sighed and tried to apologise "sorry for blowing up like that. It's just... You know, no need to worry about that now. Let's go find that chamber, ok?" he said, trying to relax and forget about his frustration. They could talk more about this whole situation later. Besides, the city still had so many vistas and landmarks, there was no reason to be grumpy right now. He was finally free to roam around a big city without being displayed like a trophy. No "scientific progress" or "fate of mankind" could hinder him now. And he'd make sure to savour this newfound freedom WC: 350/1079 PL: 7996 Majin Zam

When the bugman dared to try and reverse the claim, the Majin’s expression soured. She immediately snapped back with the exact level of maturity one could expect. “No, you!” With a childish huff, she returned to slurping her ice cream. It was hard to say if she was even listening. The lecturing didn’t get much reaction out of her, aside from a couple sulky glances. But maybe she was listening, because her pace slowed down... By the time Baccer finished his rant, Zam was staring at him like he had grown a second head. There was just one thing she could say to all that. “...So what?” Innocent honesty shined through her tone. She didn’t see what was such a big deal about making one guy go boom. “That’s how you’re supposed to do it, dummy. All my friends do it like that.” She held up her finger and furrowed her features, like she was pretending to be a wise, old lecturer. Or maybe mimicking one... “If violence doesn’t solve all your problems, you simply aren’t using it enough.” The borrowed words came in a tone completely different from her own, dry and serious. Soon the awkward silence returned. It lingered between the dysfunctional duo until the boy mustered enough courage to actually apologize. His kindness was met with a cheery smile. “Is okay! You’re weird, but I can teach you how to do things the right way~!” Just like her friends had taught her. Good plan, great plan~! She gulped down the rest of her frozen treat with a huuuge chomp. Shivers shook her as she licked the chocolate from her fingers. Eeep, brain freeze! Hnnnh... Okay, better... Looking around curiously, she voiced an idle question. “Sooo, what does that chamber look like anyway?” All she saw were big, shiny buildings. Like that super tall one over there. Baccer had to admit, the innocence with which she treated murder was kind of unnerving, even for him. However, when she started reciting this whole shpiel about "violence always being the answer" he figured that this must be something she was taught by somebody else "huh. Who taught you that violence is the best solution. I mean. Have you ever made any friends through violence?. Any that didn't go boom that is" he said, not thinking about people who may be too scared to tell her they don't want to hang around. Guess those were also a thing. But now wasn't exactly the best time to have a philosophical discussion, none of them was mature enough for that. But luckily Zam seemed to bring the conversation back to it's intended point: the chamber. As she wondered where could it be, Baccer explained "oh, it's the biggest building in town. I'm guessing the chamber should be near the top. And given we're both strong enough to jump up there, tho should pose no issue" he said with a thumbs up as they started approaching satan tower "soo... from what the army had on its archives, the duke lived on the highest floor. Maybe the chamber is there" the blue boy said, pointing up. This did draw the attention of some of the guards, but for now, they were just two curious kids playing dress-up But what happened next definitely shattered that assumption "so, wanna see who can jump higher?" Baccer asked in an excited tone, before getting ready. He spread his wings and gave a mighty upwards push. He would use his wings to propel himself even higher, even though he didn't know how to fly with them juuust yet. Feeling the air rush down his face like that, ascending the floors of the tower. That's what true freedom felt like. Even though he wanted to appear as the mature and serious one of the duo, Baccer was having the time of his life right now WC: 335/ 1414 PL: 7996 Majin Zam

Puzzlement intensified. Zam’s new friend sure was full of weird questions. Hm, maybe nobody had ever taught him the important things... Okay, then she would teach him! And teaching meant answering all the questions, right? Right! “My demon friends taught me, du~h! I have many, many demon friends!” Flashing another cheery grin, she elaborated. Ehhh... Kind of... “Violence is how demons say hello!” And there was the missing puzzle piece. Demons had never been the most peaceful of races on earth, or any other place for that matter. One could only imagine what kind of bad habits an impressionable, young destroyer would learn from them. The small Majin craned her head upwards, measuring the tall tower with her gaze. Wooow~! It was like a shiny mountain! When she heard the boy’s challenge, her smile sharpened into a crescent grin. “You’re on~!” She loved all sorts of games! Her method was a lot different from the bugman and his wings. She started twisting her body around and ‘round, until it resembled a coiled spring. And she had another trick up her sleeve too... Explosions! A pink aura flared around her. Snickering mischievously, she pointed her arms downwards. “Nyeh hee, watch this!” Boyoing~! Exactly like a living spring, she launched herself upwards. The blast propelled her high into the air. ...A little too high actually. Zooming past the top of the building, the pink missile eventually lost its momentum. And what went up... A moment later she came plummeting down. Her body hit the open balcony with a rubbery thud and bounced inside. A loud crash shook the room. Something fell and shattered. After a moment of awkward silence, her voice echoed from inside. “I’m okay~!” Of course she was. With her bouncy body, she was nigh-invulnerable. But what on earth had she crashed into...? As baccer saw the balcony of the upmost floor approaching rapidly, he flapped his wings and another push of air sent him forward, landing gracefully next to the window "All right. I got here fi-" he was silenced as a rush of air flew beside him, his pink friend had missed the balcony entirely "-rst..." he could only watch with wide-eyed shock as the pink Majin began picking up speed, barely moving out of the way as she smashed through the window and inside the apartment, making a whole mess of things "aww. And I made such an effort to make a cool entrance too" Baccer was kinda miffed. But right now he was too absorbed in thought to really mind. Demons, huh?. Of course, they'd try to corrupt someone as powerful as her. Now it made sense. They were both higher beings above the level of an earthling. But where he was conditioned to protect and serve them, she was taught the best method of interaction with their kind was violence. This would certainly be a difficult mindset to get out of But there wasn't time for that now. Zam was fine and they were in the luxurious quarters of the master of this tower. A particular potted plant had been knocked over from Zam's entrance, but now was no time to worry about that. Baccer noticed that what they came here for wasn't far. A big chamber towards the back of the room, complete with gravity training, weights, and all sorts of exercise tools. Baccer grinned and pointed it over to his pink friend "look Zam, we found it" he said before rushing in, marvelling at all the high-tech training equipment. He could get so strong by exercising here. And so could Zam. Maybe he could even find the time to explain to her why killing is bad. Hmm... well, that was a thought for another time, they'd finally found the room, that was cause for celebration. And the luxurious suite it was connected to didn't help with keeping either of them focused "Woah. So whoever normally lives here is important enough for the red ribbon to know about it. Do you think they are strong?" Baccer asked wide-eyed WC: 371/1785 PL: 7996 Majin Zam

The Majin had barely been inside the beautiful building for a couple of seconds and she had already made a huge mess. Sprawled on the floor, she was staring at the ceiling with swirling eyes. A brave potted plant had been destroyed in the line of duty, its shards and dirt now splattered across the fancy carpet. The colorful flowers had lost their friend, now doomed to wilt slightly faster. It was only respectful to hold a moment of silence to honor the fallen soldier. ...Aaand the moment has passed, moving on. The pink menace bounced back onto her feet and shook off the porcelain shards. Her scrapes had already healed without a trace. Curiosity pulled her like a magnet towards the mysterious chamber. She peered inside, sweeping her glimmering gaze across all the shiny equipment. Some of them she vaguely recognized as the heavy stuff her friends liked to pick up and put down over and over again for some reason. And others were a complete mystery. So many interesting things~! And best of all... No adults telling her not to touch anything... A mischievous smile crept onto her features. Oh, she was going to touch all the things. When Baccer voiced his question, Zam cocked her head. Red whatnow? She had no idea what the boy was talking about, but if there was someone strong around, she wanted to meet them. “Hmmm...” Her pale horns wiggled, snooping for things eye couldn’t see. After a moment, she shook her head. “Nope, I don’t feel any big tingles around here.” That meant the mystery person couldn’t be all that strong. ...Or maybe they just weren’t home. Oh well! With a dismissive shrug, she went back to exploring. Everything that came her way got a curious tap, poke or pat. When the restless creature wandered close to the high-tech equipment, there was a spark in the air. A quiet crackle of static. All these delicate electronics were reacting to her presence... And they didn’t like her one bit. Technology and magic mixed poorly, or so the rumor went anyway. Naturally, the biggest machine in the room caught her eye. She rushed up to it, admiring all the colorful lights and buttons. There were those weird squiggly things too... Numbers? Yeah, those! “Ooh, what’s this one do?” Without further warning, she slapped her hand against a big, green button. Boop. WC: 404 | 1826 Starting natural PL: 10,407 Tags: Baccer

As Baccer continued his own search around the building, his eyes fell on the mini-fridge. It seemed whoever trained here liked to have refreshments ready and available. Baccer picked a mad bull energy drink and drank it all with one big glug. It wouldn't take long for the effects to start showing, as the bug boy became almost as hyperactive as his pink friend "ohh. Everything is moving so slow, or am I just moving faster. Hey Zam, look, I can do this" he said, proceeding to balance himself on his beak, beginning to spin around himself until he started feeling dizzy "Woah. Everything is spinning now. I think I'll go for another drink" However, even in this hyperactive state, he realised what the thing Zam was playing with was "no, zam, wait. This is the gra-" before he could finish his sentence, the machine turned on and they were both flung downward with extreme force. A normal human would be red paste by now. Welp, good thing they weren't normal "-vity machine," the bio-android said, struggling to his feet. Wow. Whoever lived here trained with such intense gravity?. Or did Zam just turn on the machine at an absurdly high setting?. Eh, who knows. The important thing was that they would get stronger from this, which was quite the exciting prospect "s-so. what do you think... Zam. Easy... isn't it?" Baccer asked, trying to act cool as he struggled to keep his posture upright. Well, it seemed their training had started earlier than expected. Baccer just hoped he had enough Mad bull for this. As soon as the button went boop, the small Majin started feeling a little... squishy. The sudden shift in gravity flattened her against the floor until she resembled a chewed up piece of bubblegum on a sidewalk. Her hands reformed and pressed down. A whistle of hot steam erupted from the holes lining her body. Her rubbery muscles suddenly tensed, showing just how toned her body was beneath the soft skin. With a huff of focus, she pried the rest of her body free and giggled gleefully. “Nyeh hee, it feels funny~!” She had no idea what was happening, but she didn’t mind. Zam bounced back onto her feet and cocked her head at the bugman’s question. “Is what easy?” It could have been kind of mocking, if her tone didn’t chime with the usual innocent honesty. If the android was paying attention, he might notice the pink creature’s dormant power steadily rising... She was already strutting around with little effort. Her body was adapting at a rapid rate, driven by pure instinct. ...Then again, she really wasn’t the thinking type anyway. Trying to ponder things too much made her head hurt. She was much happier just doing things and playing games. And speaking of games... The playful girl crept closer to the boy. Her lips curled into a mischievous smile. “Hey! Hey, listen!” She went to pat the bugman’s chest, demanding his attention. Although in the current gravity, there was a real risk of her pushing him over completely. “Let’s play a game!” In a way, the boy had brought this upon himself... He had mentioned playing tag with cars earlier and she did love playing tag... But there weren’t any cars here! Sooo they needed to figure out something else. She glanced around. “Hm hm, not many good places to hide, so Hide and Go Boom won’t work... And Raiding Party needs waaay more people...” Wisps of steam started rising from her head as she pondered and wondered way too hard. WC: 342 | 2168 Starting natural PL: 10,407 Tags: Baccer

Baccer would start to slowly get more accustomed to the gravity, his own regeneration and adaptive capabilities helping him with that. However, even he couldn't adapt as fast as the Majin, and by the time she was walking around briskly, he could only do so with considerable effort. Luckily he was used to the gravity enough that by the time she pushed on his exoskeleton, he could keep his balance with a bit of stumbling. He could already feel his muscles growing stronger from this, his evolving DNA picking up lots of info from these harsh conditions. However, his pink friend seemed keener to play rather than properly train, which was something he would have to accommodate for After a bit of thought, he began devising a plan. Since she seemed to like tag, why not turn tag into a dexterity competition. Yes, that was a brilliant idea. Baccer took a moment to bask in his own ingenuity before finally pitching his plan to Zam "hmm. Well, we could always play tag amongst ourselves. One person tries to tag the other while their partner does their best to dodge. Once someone has been tagged the roles reverse. The winner is the person that was tagged less time-wise over the span of 1 minute. If both players were tagged for exactly 30 seconds, the round is a draw" this kind of dodging exercise/game would be useful in both training and keeping Zam occupied. And as a plus, he was teaching her some games that didn't involve killing people. As he prepared himself for the game, he did a few stretches, trying to get even more used to the gravity "welp. Since I was the one that proposed the game, I will start as the tagged one" he said, giving Zam the slight advantage over the round. If she agreed to play he'd take a deep breath and get into a stance "don't think I'll go easy on you tho" he grinned, readying himself for the training session to start up WC: 340/2166 PL at the start of thread: 7996 Majin Zam

Zam’s eyes widened with wonder when her friend voiced a sudden revelation. She let out an astonished gasp. You could play tag... With just two people! Ba-boom! That was the imaginary sound of blowing a little Majin’s mind. She listened closely as the buman went over the rules. ...His version of the rules, apparently. Curiously she cocked her head, pondering all the strange numbers tossed around. And there was no mention of explosions either. Very weird. But she didn’t mind, nope! It sounded close enough to the kind of tag she played with her friends, so she was all up for a match. The pink trickster flashed a cheeky grin and nodded eagerly. “Okay, you’re on~!” She didn’t fully get the part about seconds and stuff, buuuut it wouldn’t matter if she didn’t get caught at all! Good plan, great plan~! And she had plenty of tricks up her black sleeves... She was the reigning champion of demon tag after all. Without further ado, the chaotic creature took off. Her chiming singsong voice taunted the boy. “Nyeh hee~! Catch me if you can~!” She dashed in a chaotic zigzag pattern, trying to put the various training machines between her and the chaser. Despite the crushing gravity, she was already able to run around effortlessly. ...Not that her speed was anything impressive. Not quite yet. She was about as fast as any average teen her size. But as the boy might already know, her power and body worked in weird ways. As her excitement grew, so did her strength and speed. Their little game was only beginning... And she was the type to play for keeps. WC: 282 | 2450 Starting natural PL: 10,407 Tags: Baccer

Baccer took a deep breath as the match began. Just because this was training didn't mean he was gonna go easy. Zam may be able to adapt fast, but his own adaptation potential was nothing to scoff at. Evolving genome paired with a Saiyan's zenkai made for a truly deadly combination. As she began dodging and weaving between the training machines, he used one of the combat techniques he'd learned by fighting his doppelganger: the Dual Dragon Dash. He took a lowered stance and sprung forward. Which he was generally slower than Zam within the chamber, for these small bursts of speed he was moving at almost normal speeds for outside this chamber. He used the first dragon dash to launch upwards, giving him a vantage point from where he could lock on to Zam beyond all the training machines, while the second one served to propel him directly towards her at high speeds. He hoped that this unconventional technique would catch her off guard, giving him an early lead So as he launched towards her at high speeds, he extended his arm towards her to tag and then let the momentum carry him even farther. The positive of this tactic was if he tagged her he would also create a bit of distance between them. The negative was that if he didn't tag her he'd still create a bit of distance between them, making it harder to try further tags. But hey, Baccer was never the most level headed person, and what fun would play training be if he didn't take a few risks here and there.
