“I am sorry about what happened to your parents, Arashi.” Ty pouted at realization that he was only a couple days old and already knew how to speak like most children his size. “If we ever find out if the dragon balls are real, we can wish them back here, so you can be a family again.”
As Cayle began to peel carrots and potato shavings, the yellow robot on treads rolled over to collect the pile into a compartment in its body, instantly turning it into compost to mix in with the vegetable patch soil. Eventually there was a mountain taller than the robot but it diligently continued to make compost until it was all gone then proceeded to water the soil of the garden.
The red headed teenager flew up while Cayle was preparing food outdoors, flying into her bedroom window of the tree house, and returning with a popup book of Emperor Pilaf to give to the boy. Since he was still getting accustomed to the world, she opened it for the first page, which was of Pilaf, Shu, and Mai. “A long time ago there was a young boy who dreamed of finding the dragon balls with his trusted friends, his name was Pilaf, his friends were Shu and Mai. However, a monkey boy named Sun, a blue haired girl named Burra, and a pig beastman named So Long kept crossing their paths who were also after the dragon balls. There is a legend that when all seven dragon balls are found a Dragon named Shenron is summoned and can grant any wish.”
Ty continued to turn the pages of the popup book, “After collecting the dragon balls and summoning shenron the mighty dragon, Pilaf fought bravely against Sun, until So Long made a wish during the scuffle.” After turning a page it was a picture of a pig with a pair of panties on his head, “It was not a good wish and it was wasted on something that was not worthy. A year would pass until Pilaf collected the dragon balls again, as usual his nemesis would interfere in his quest, but eventually he did get his wish. To be admired by all the children of earth as a protector of the dragon balls. That is where we are now, in Emperor Pilaf’s domain, there is a whole theme park dedicated to his adventures from long ago just beyond this forest.”
By the time the story was over, Cayle finished cooking the stew, he fanned the flames with more wood to cook it faster. Ty picked up a wooden bowl, pouring in the stewed venison with vegetables, and sat back down on the log. At first she was thinking of spoon feeding Arashi but he seemed capable of doing a lot of things despite his age.
“It is very hot, so you have to blow on it, and then bring the spoon to your mouth to eat the stew slowly.” Ty performed the instructions, then handed the bowl of stew over to him, hoping that he figured it out, “Be careful.” [517] [1,926] Arashi Cayle Pota

Arashi was rather fascinated with the size of the pot that Cayle had ended up using to cook his food. He'd been hoping for a lot of food of course. But when he started to see the man begin to fill the massive pot with so many potatoes he wondered how long the food would last, because he didn't think he would be able to eat all of what they were cooking, at least not in one sitting.
He'd eaten half a bear yesterday, but that pot was bigger than a bear. It looked big enough to fit two bears, maybe three. Though it was a little hard for Arashi to estimate the size beyond that, just assuming it was in the general ballpark when estimating.
But then he looked back to Ty who seemed genuinely sad for him and his parents. He appreciated that, though he still wondered why she cared about him so much. He was a stranger for the most part and a monster at that. He wasn't particularly interested in harming any humans if these two were humans, but that didn't mean he couldn't have. He'd beaten a bear, he could certainly overwhelm most humans.
"Death is a part of life. If you have something that can grant wishes, then use it for something better than bringing my parents back..." He said, though the idea of having his parents filled him with an intense desire. He did want them. His mother had done everything she could to protect him, to pass on the knowledge she had and a scattered few memories. He'd felt her love, her worry before she dropped him into this world. She'd wanted to take care of him, train him, teach him properly about the world. But his first real lesson in life was that it could be cruel.
Wishing his parents back would have been something he wanted, not something this kind girl should want. Ty was a lovely person, she was not selfish at all. Not like him. He didn't know what these dragon ball things were, but if she had the chance to make a wish with them he thought that she should use them for something greater. If she could wish for anything, it should be something that would make the world a better place. That seemed like a wish for this kind person to make. Wishing his parents back might make his life better, but it would probably make everyone else's life worse.
He blinked when she pulled down a book to start reading to him. But he sat down, fascinated by the story she decided to tell him, listening with full attention. He had the knowledge, and a couple of memories that his mother had, but for a while at least he would have some child like tendencies.
He sat beside her, leaning close to her to see the book she held, and turned the pages as they popped up. To him, that was almost like its own magic. How did the pages stand up on their own like that?
"If Pilaf still around?" He asked curiously. The book itself didn't seem that old, but it seemed like the story itself should have been older than the book. It was supposed to be a children's story after all.
When the food was finally done, it was a good thing she showed him how to eat from the bowl first, because that had not been the way he was thinking of eating it. He'd been intending to just dump the bowl into his mouth. But he followed her instructions.
However, when he blew to cool the stew his breath came out in a light frost, chilling the air in front of him and leaving the stew on his spoon much cooler with a single breath. He'd been careful not to freeze it on the spoon at least before slipping it into his mouth and sucking the stew off the spoon.
Eating it like that was interesting, but he frowned. "Do I have to eat it like this? It's so slow..." His approach to food was generally more wolf-like. Eat as much as he could as quickly as he could because you might not have another chance to fill up on food any time soon. "It's good though." He said with a nod to Cayle. "It was worth waiting for the food to be cooked to eat."

Cayle's own stew bowl was about the size of a large sea turtle's or tortoise's shell, and after Tiger Lily had made a bowl for both herself and for Arashi, Cayle made himself a bowl as well. The Saiyan listened as Tiger Lily told the small Dragon Boy the story of Pilaf and his fairy tale, and didn't remark that it was happenstance and might not be true – there was no reason to have that argument with Tiger Lily over something so little to him which was to her such a big portion of her life. Pilaf's stories being true was an important part of her psyche, and if it made her strive to be a good person, then fine, Pilaf's wish had done its job in making at least one person a better living being. Someone who cared genuinely for pretty much anyone she met, and was willing to fight to defend them if she had to.
Cayle slowly shoveled bites of the potatoes, the carrots, the stew liquid, onions, and meat into his mouth – going faster than the dragon boy or than Tiger Lily, as he listened to her and to Arashi's response to her. While the saiyan former farm boy had already felt some innate connection to this Dragon Boy, hearing his story and seeing him express it, even seeing how he acted and reacted. Still, Cayle didn't speak up about this, eating his food and shrugging slightly.
“If you want to shovel it into your mouth more rapidly, you should practice blowing on it. Cooling the food with your breath is the best way to allow you to eat it faster and not burn your mouth in the process.”
Though part of him wondered if a Dragon resembling humanoid creature could even be burned in their mouth? Didn't Earthling story books tell stories of Dragons burning down villages with fire breath? Didn't Planet Plant myths talk about storm lizards burning nuclear fire down on people? Perhaps this boy was like that – But Cayle wasn't going to assume and lead a physically toddler, one or two day old child to burn their mouth trying to eat.
“But you don't have to rush, their's plenty, the fire will keep it warm, and if anyone or thing tried to take it, we can deal with it.”

The boy spoke with more wisdom than most people, Tiger Lily nodded along when he shared his beliefs about death, and he felt the wish would be wasted on his parents unlike a pair of panties on Oolong’s head. Of course, the red headed teenager was curious about solving the mysteries between the story book, and real life. Oolong City was a place in the western lands, she was there briefly, Cayle forbade her from venturing anywhere outside Hotel Z, and remained in the sports arena that was converted to a winter paradise just for a snow carving contest last year.
“In life you have to enjoy every day to the fullest because we’re all mortal. If making a wish would make you happier, then I see no issue with it, and if the magic of Shenron is real, I have nothing to wish for because I have everything I ever wanted in life.” Ty said with a smile on her face, “If I lost my parents, who are fortunately alive and well, I would go on a journey to find the dragon balls to bring them back. Even if it was just a day, meeting your parents for the first time will fill your heart, since it is love that creates life. That is how we were all brought into existence.”
Arashi had frost breath, which made her delighted, she thought all magic was wonderful, and he controlled it rather well compared to a certain witch who allowed her emotions to control her frost abilities. “Ah yeah, you do not have to use the spoon, since you’re hungry and you can cool it down on your own. Just bring the rim of the bowl to your lips and you can drink it that way, be sure to chew any thick pieces to avoid choking. Plus it makes it easier for your stomach to digest the nutrients if you chew most of it first.”
Cayle was a saiyan, the amount of calories he burned in his training regiment required at least half the massive pot of venison stew to replenish. Unlike Ty, her boyfriend was training hard for the WMAT, she was slacking off a tiny bit since she earned a lifetime theme park pass to the magical Kingdom of Pilaf Land.
Ocean blue eyes looked up at Cayle who was rather calm about finding Arashi alone in the woods, it was no different from saving pickled Saiyans, but he was an enigma. Unfamiliar with his kind, their culture, or his daily lifestyle let alone his temperament they had to figure out the next best step to take.
“Cayle, what can we do to help Arashi?” After taking a few spoonfuls of potatoes quietly, she could not imagine leaving him alone again, she would never forgive herself, and even her partner was protective of anyone he perceived was vulnerable. [479] [2,405] Arashi Cayle Pota

Seeing as he was permitted to gobble the stew however he liked he wasted no time. They seemed concerned about him burning his mouth, and Lily seemed delighted by the fact that he could use magic. Most his magic was related to ice and lightning, he was a storm dragon. He was a storming blizzard, or he would be when he got older.
Lifting the bowl after blowing over it, breathing another cloud of freezing mist over it to cool it quickly before dumping it into his mouth, filling his mouth before starting to chew and swollow in rapid success. He licked his lips clean.
To what Lily had to say concerning each day, he hummed lightly. He didn't disagree, but he wondered if it was really that easy. He wasn't human, and it was possible that his goals if not his existance would make him an enemy to many people and creatures. He wasn't sure what his goal would be just yet, but he knew he would want to do something big. Something important.
"I appreciate you being willing to do something like that for me. Even though we just met. You are a good person." And he thought she would be as close to a mother figure as he might ever get. She was warm, and good. It made him sad to think that he might dissapoint her one day. The way he thought was different from her. She was good. At best he was... Neutral. Maybe that would change in the future. Maybe he could be better than that. But for now he was new to this world, and it would take him time to decide on the path he wished to walk.
She even asked Cayle what they could do to help him. He looked to Cayle wondering what he might say. Though he started to squirm with a bit of discomfort as he had something of a realization. He had not considered it before but Cayle, Lily, and everyone in the book she had just shown him has been wearing clothes. He was still naked.
He gathered his magic before creating some clothing to cover himself. Deciding to copy the outfit from the dog in the story book that Lily had just read to him, the ninja dog outfit which covered him head to toe, aside from the parts that hung outside of it. His horns, his small wings, and his tail were all exposed, his tail lashed a little, his wings fluttered. But he nodded to himself, peering at Cayle once again, still waiting to hear what he might say to Lily. Would he be as willing to help him as Lily was? Or would he have to go back out into the woods and survive on his own?

Cayle was the oldest of his siblings – something which he may or may not have told Tiger Lily, because it was not exactly a subject that was easy to vocalize or empathize even with his fellow Saiyans who had previously been kidnapped, tested upon, tortured, and held in cryostasis by the Tuffle Science Executive. Yet he was, and on top of that – he had made the leap from a childish boy interested in his own fun alone into a man with responsibilities and goals, with people counting upon him. So the Saiyan, who himself had no qualms about running around in the buff – humans were the ones touchy about that and thinking it was weird, simply stood there as Tiger Lily's question was asked.
How can we help him. Not will we, not should we, how can we. She took a presumptive assessment that Cayle Pota, son of Pota Potaset, long of his line, would help this Dragon Hatchling. Did it mean she assumed she could talk Cayle into it? Did it mean she simply thought her boyfriend was such a good person that it was not even a second thought, the idea of helping this strange creature?
The Saiyan former farm boy's nostrils flared for a moment as she spoke this, and as the young Dragon used magic to simply summon clothes. Another magician, it seemed. More than that, a child of impressionable age, who would be under threat by most people. Some Humans and Tuffles alike would try to capture him, experiment upon him, and use him as a weapon. Saiyans and Demons would try to mold him into a weapon for their local warlord or tough. Other Beastmen and Androids would attempt to teach him to be a criminal.
There was no question to it – and even before Tiger Lily had asked, before they had even brought the boy through the paths to their home and allowed him to see their tree house and its defenses and amenities.
Cayle had fully intended to extend his paternal duty to this boy, at least until he could protect himself and knew how to navigate the world himself. In him he saw his siblings, still lost to him in some Tuffle Science Executive bunker, and in him he saw an innocent and more than simply an innocent, someone who might prove to be an ally in the future.
“We let him stay here. We hire Lilith to be his tutor in magic where I can't teach him about it, and we help him understand his power. When he's ready to leave, he can leave – but he deserves a safe place to grow. Pilaf Land is perhaps the first place his egg could have landed when it comes to subterfuge and lies being told to him, it's a lucky thing that we found him.”
So Cayle said, before heading towards the stew pot and pouring himself another bowl, before turning to Ty and the young Dragon Boy.
“That is, of course, if he wants to do such a thing.”

It had only been a few days, it was possible that in time, Arashi would grow up to be a teenager like herself and Cayle. By that point Ty would be able to have the confidence that he would be able to strive independently. After all, she had to make a decision to leave her home island, in order to go on adventures without guidance. While the dragon boy appeared to have a human visage with similar expressive characteristics, he was different in that he aged rapidly, and held quite a bit of wisdom to make decisions already.
Arashi had two options, he could stay in this part of the woods, or return to the wilderness. Cayle made it clear that he swore to keep him safe regardless, so even if he returned to the woods, he would be watching from afar in order to keep that promise.
“You want to stay with us, right? Arashi?” Ty had no doubt, she had a certain charm in being somewhat of a strong influence on people, and she smiled widely, “Lady Lilith Nevermore would make an excellent tutor, she is away rebuilding her home at the moment, and she knows plenty of magic.”
As she described her experiences with magic, her ocean teal eyes nearly glittered, despite not possessing any magic of her own she had an admiration for it just like the storybook. Ty was unlike most girls her age, the only commonality she held was having a boyfriend, apart from that she was raised without television, so whenever she discovered the Emperor Pilaf franchise she was completely enamored. It was by far a better story than Piccolo Daimao in a cold war with central lands and the constant namekian horde invasions.
Emperor Pilaf gave her hope that one day, she would be able to ensure the safety of her friends and family, just like how Shu and Mai remained loyal to their friendship. The outfit Arashi changed into was absolutely adorable, Ty was won over, and without thinking about it she pulled out her capsule corp phone to snap a live photo of dragon boy in a the ninja outfit, while he did not have ears like the shiba inu, the horns on his head kept the shape of the hood in place.
“Do you like Shu, too? He is also my favorite in the storybook. A loyal friend to the end.”

"I'll stay." He said with no hesitation. This place was warm and inviting to him. Lily was someone he didn't want to disappoint, and she clearly wanted him to stay here with them. If she could accept him even as a monster, then he had no reason not to stay. And Cayle made really tasty food, so that was also a bonus.
It didn't seem like Cayle was nearly so warm as Lily was. But he was accepting, and that was more than enough for him. It was easy to see why Cayle would stick around someone like Lily. Or really, anyone. Who could hate this kind of person? If anyone ever hated Lily he would want to rip them apart. They would have to be pure evil. And while maybe Arashi would not be the best person, he could feel that Lily and Cayle would be people he cared deeply about. Maybe it was only because they had been the first to find him and take him in as they were now. But regardless it didn't change the fact that this place was where he decided he wanted to be.
Apparently, the outfit he decided to wear was one that Lily really loved. Even pulling out her phone to snap a picture of him standing there in it. He didn't know what she was doing, he'd never seen a phone or a camera before. But he still smiled, showing a happy face, and exposing sharp pointed teeth.
He tilted his head at the mention of this person, Lilith Nevermore. "Someone else who knows and could teach me more magic?" He asked with interest. He would not mind that at all. Most of his magic was naturally inclined to ice and lightning, but he would try to learn any magic he could regardless. So long as he was capable of using it anyway.
"Shu was nice." He's picked the outfit mostly because it was convenient. Shu was a dog, he was a dragon. They were both kind of animals, and so it hard not been hard to copy the outfit. "Shu is probably my favorite person in the story." He decided with a little nod after thinking about it a little.
"So when can I meet this Lilith person?" He asked eager to start learning right away apparently. However, he was interrupted by his stomach growling at him. He picked up his bowl and walked to Cayle. "More!" He called up to the man with a smile, his dragon tail lashing behind him excitedly. So much had been going on he forgot how hungry he was. He still had room for a lot more food.

It didn't matter what Cayle's personal feelings were on the matter. He had seen the dangers that were in and around the Shadow Anomaly, and he had sensed similar energy when Arashi had appeared. So it only made sense to keep an eye on the boy, on top of the fact that he could be a weapon in the hands of unscrupulous people. Further, Cayle saw some of himself and his younger siblings in this boy, the wildness of spirit that few Earthling children seemed to have.
The earthling idea that children couldn't have innocence and ferocity was a fallacy, but Cayle wasn't about to force thousand year old politics on the people of the modern world. Let people decide for themselves, so long as they didn't force their decisions on others. He didn't even bring that sort of stuff up, or his deepest thoughts, most of the time – because there was a cultural difference a galaxy wide between him and some humans, and he enjoyed Tiger Lily and his human friends too much to tell the half-saiyan things about his belief that even if Arashi ran wild he would do fine so long as someone was watching over him. Instead, the Saiyan ate a few more bites of his stew, chewing deliberately on the venison and the potatoes.
He listened to Tiger Lily and Arashi talk, and didn't interrupt or intercede until Arashi asked about more food. Then Cayle put his plate on the table he had set up and poured Arashi another helping, before also putting two of the now ready sausages on the boy's stew plate. “Try them, it's my first time trying the recipe.” he said, before adding a few to his plate and bringing two to Tiger Lily as well.
Human as she was in the side of her that hoped and had a good heart, she was still a half-saiyan, and her saiyan half made sure that Cayle wouldn't be making a bad assumption in thinking she might want more food from the stew or to try the new stew.
“Lilith will likely be back here in a week or so, perhaps earlier. I should fore warn you she likes to refer to people as 'peasant', some Earthling word for a serf or a rural bumpkin villager. Don't get upset if she calls you it, I believe it to be a verbal tick or personality tick– that is to say she can't help when she does it.”
With that said, Cayle took a bite into the sausage, enjoying the greasy taste mixed with spices and cheeses. “And I can also teach you to cook for yourself, if you'd like.” Cooking was a skill that Cayle firmly believed all should have, it helped multiple nutritional values of nearly all foods, and calorie values as well. Any warrior worth their salt would know when to use salt or pepper on a dish, and when to turn a burger patty.
At least, that's what Cayle thought, but for now he was silent, letting the young Dragon Boy eat while he thought of which of the spare bedrooms which he had made on the Treehouse and the surrounding tree houses to assign to Arashi – and wondered if he should sleep in a nearby room in the case the Dragon Boy got scared or needed something during the night.

"Good. We will make sure you’re always comfortable in your new home.” Ty smiled widely, elated that Arashi decided to stay with the pair, while they shared the tree house with their friends who were not present.
When they first found the tree it was a lot smaller, it has grown significantly under their care, and thus were able to add three more levels. A basement, a second living quarter with four more rooms, and an attic. Since Cayle took in disciples, several plans to make a network of treehouses in the area had been submitted to Pilaf Corp for approval, to house them while training in the area.
While it seemed Arashi was still getting used to socializing, meeting with Cayle’s disciples will allow the boy the opportunity to personally grow, and she was confident that he would learn more from others from the experience of being in a group of martial artists. By this point Cayle shared hand made sausages that were part of the stew, they were delicious, with the right amount of spice to enhance the meat flavors, and they quietly ate a second helping of stew. There was plenty left to go around, it seemed Arashi had a similar appetite to a saiyan, while Ty was only half she had her fill. The only times she had a saiyan appetite was shortly after a battle, she found it was the best way to recover from her wounds, and since she had not been training as rigorously as she should be it did not deter her determination to participate in the World Martial Arts Tournament.
“Lady Lilith Nevermore will be training with Cayle, so she can speed up casting her magic spells at him, it would be quite the sight to behold!” Ty laughed cheerfully, “If she would be willing to tutor you then you can be just as powerful as any witch or magus, Arashi!”
The redhead hummed gleefully, as her imagination ran wild, and then Cayle mentioned teaching Arashi how to cook. While Ty knew some of the basics, she preferred molecular gastronomy, and let Cayle do most of the cooking since he enjoyed it as a hobby.
“I can make sugar cubes from the sapling of might tree. As well as processing several ingredients using a hand blown glass distillery I made. Glass blowing is my actual hobby. While Cayle’s is cooking. If you ever wanna try glass blowing we can make something together at my parent’s home island in the southern islands. It is quite a ways from here, to the south, this is just one of our several properties here on earth. We stay here whenever we visit Pilaf Land, so whenever you have the energy to venture there, we can go together after you have your fill!” [467] [3,273] Cayle Pota Arashi

The idea that some woman he didn't know would call him a "peasant" made him feel a variety of emotions. Mainly curiosity, and annoyance. To him, a peasant was someone who was powerless, who you could walk on and they would thank you like a bootlick for the privilege of being your footstool. He despised that sort of mindset, and would never allow himself to fall to it even if it meant dying.
It was hard to say where that sort of mindset came from. But where power might fail some, he respected Will and Resolve. He respected people who would not bow down, who would not stop fighting, who would not hesitate because something they cared about was threatened. He understood that there were many forms of power, and while physical and magical might be the most apparent to him, that didn't mean they were the only kinds he respected or would grow to respect.
He ate while thinking about that and what Cayle had to say about his potential teacher for magic. He would just have to see her before he could really judge how he felt about her. But if nothing else he intended to show the woman he was no peasant. No, if anything he was a king waiting to take his crown. He could be king of the monsters if he wanted to. Yes. That sounded great actually. King of the monsters. The thought made him give a sharp-toothed grin while eating his sausages in two bites and then gulping them down. Eating more automatically while thinking to himself.
He nodded to what Lily had to say as well, between bites of food. "Yes, I will become much stronger. Especially with all of you helping me. I hope that in time I can make you all proud." He said lightly and found he meant it. He did want to make them proud, he wanted their praise, and even their affection if they would give it. Mature as he might seem, he was definitely lacking whatever affection his real mother might have given him, and his father thought all he had of him was his mother's faint memories.
"I would not mind learning to cook. I can eat meat without cooking it, but learning to cook would not be bad either if I have the time and ingredients for it." He said looking to Cayle for a moment, figuring they must grow or collect what they needed from their home or the woods around them. Probably both. The forest was full of things they could use. Mushrooms, berries, herbs, and of course animals that could be hunted and brought back to be cooked into a stew or something.
"Glass blowing?" He asked with interest looking to Lily. "I might like to try that sometime too. Although I'm not sure how much I will do that, even if I do like it. Making glass requires a lot of heat right? But I'm more fond of the cold." He said with a general gesture to himself. He had been blowing frost just a moment ago after all. The heat wasn't exactly bad for him, but it was uncomfortable after a certain point, and in certain conditions would prevent him from being able to use his magic over ice effectively. Still, to be able to spend more time with Cayle, or Lily, he would gladly push through whatever discomfort he had. Cooking was a pretty warm job too, just less than glass blowing, or so he figured. He knew the gist of making glass, even if his mother had never personally experienced such an activity.

The dark brown haired Saiyan former farm boy was silent, eating his food as Tiger Lily spoke and Arashi responded, until the Dragon boy expressed that he planned to make them proud. Then Cayle let his spoon rest in his stew plate and reached out with his left hand- his dominant hand, and gave the boy a gentle, reassuring pat on the head, followed by a slight ruffle of his hair beneath the hood that the Dragon Boy was wearing.
“I'm sure you will, at least if you keep up that attitude.” then he with drew his hand back out, taking a deep breath before moving to make himself another helping of food.
“Do you want to try school, or just be tutored in general? There's a school here and one on Ensalada Island you could be enrolled in, but we can just stick to tutoring you and schooling you in the magic arts with Lilith's help when it comes to magic, if you want.”
Then the Saiyan began to dig into his food, silent once again and thinking. Sometimes acting like a human was difficult, a Saiyan father figure would just as likely start fighting a child as pat them on the back to tell them good job. But that wasn't the future he wanted for the world, his people had only done it before because desperate times called for desperate measures and they wanted their children ready.

It was a strange feeling to have expectations, sometime in the future Ty would reach a point where she would feel proud of Arashi’s growth, and she was curious about when that would be. Rather than say anything she nodded in agreement as her ocean teal eyes watched Cayle pat his head in response. School did not seem like a concept Arashi grasped and was more excited about learning their hobbies. Not even the mention of visiting the magical theme park piqued his interest, it seemed like he had a hidden library of knowledge locked away, so it took him a minute or two to understand the subjects they brought up. “Yes, glassblowing uses a kiln, and being close to the project makes you sweat from the heat. If you can only blow frost magic you may freeze the molten glass cane and ruin the project. You are still welcome to observe then try it out to see if it's something you like. My father is an expert and makes a living out of it. So we can visit my parents anytime to try it out. In the meantime, you can help Cayle make dinner later tonight, so you can learn some basic cooking.”After taking the time to finish eating, Ty stood up to stretch, she was craving mandrake tea but she was out of it. “Cayle, I am going to forage a mandrake. I will be right back. I was thinking we could go to the theme park after Arashi is done eating to get him an annual pass.”
Without waiting for an answer, she lowered down bending her knees then took flight, she would be gone for at least fifteen minutes before she came back. Ty stood around six feet tall, in her arms was a petite fennec fox beastwoman in a blue jumpsuit, with blonde hair and fur, and a brown stripe along the top of her head. In her arms was a plot of earth with visible leaves of a manadrake. After being carried bridal style, the five foot tall vixen was placed gently on the ground, and Tiger Lily rubbed the bottom of her nose horizontally with her index finger nervously. “This is Rosemary, I found her while we were out foraging for mandrake at the same time, she asked me if I can help fulfill her dream of keeping mandrakes in a greenhouse. I figured we had the space and the technology so I said yes!” Ty grinned, she pulled out a silver handheld note sized capsule corp case, which was connected to a satellite, and downloaded a green house after purchasing it through an online catalogue into a large DynoCapsule. “Ah! This is my boyfriend Cayle and our charge Arashi who plans to live with us and learn various things. Rosemary, in exchange for lodging, food, and raising mandrakes could you help us tutor him as well?”“Of course! Hi!” Rosemary grinned unable to greet them since she was holding a crate size mound of compressed earth with mandrakes leaves sticking out at the top. “Alright here it goes!” Ty clicked the capsule and threw it far. The green house was placed at the base of a mountain at the edge of the forest after the cloud dissipated, everything to grow mandrake was set up inside, including an irrigation system that needed to be connected to the main pipe for the water system Cayle set up out there. Rosemary immediately planted the mandrakes she brought with her on the first soil bed. It would take a while for her to forage more and transfer them over to fill the entire greenhouse but she was satisfied with having a fresh start with the ones she did bring. The woman’s nose caught the aroma of the air and wandered back to the campsite. The vixen wagged her tail at the stew, Ty picked up an unused bowl to serve their new grounds keeper, and waited for the fox beast woman to remove her gloves to reveal humanoid hands with similar black nails to Arashi, except they were bluntly cut. With a spoon in hand the fennec fox sat down next to the dragon boy with a bit of curiosity. “Isn’t having a tail great?” Rosemary smiled at Arashi as she wagged her fluffy tail while she gingerly ate and noticed Cayle had a monkey like tail, “Say! Are you a saiyan? I have heard of humans with monkey tails being so! I never met one before!”“I am half saiyan...but my tail was removed when I was born.” Ty said nervously, she was unsure if it was a good or bad thing but she wanted to be clear to Rosemary that Cayle was the second saiyan she actually met and not the first. He smiled as Cayle pat his head and brushed through his hair. It made him happy, and he even gave a little giggle which embarrassed him. The dragon boy blushing at the sound he made, so happy, but with the memories of his mother guiding him, he felt more mature than he really was. It was an odd balance, the desire to be a kid, to act like one, to have already experienced many of the things his mother had as though he had personally experienced them himself. He didn't mind his head being rubbed at all, at least not by Cayle. If it had been anyone but Lily, or Cayle, it was perhaps debatable whether he would not have tried to bite their hand.
Concerning Lily's thoughts. Arashi had no idea what school was, aside from just generally being a place where people went to learn. It sounded pretty boring really, especially if he could just learn what he needed from Cayle and Lily. While he was intelligent, certainly far more than the average six year old, he didn't know how to read or write yet. That was definitely something they could help him learn. And concerning Pilaf Land, he thought it was what its name implied in a way. A land ruled by Pilaf, unaware that it was an amusement park, or even what an amusement park was. His mother had never experienced such a thing, and thus neither had he. Though he would certainly enjoy seeing such a place later.
"I don't just breathe cold air. I can breathe normally too." He explained to Lily with a little nod. He would still try glass blowing some time in the future.
He watched as Lily left, and then came back carrying someone. Some sort of fox woman, who pretty instantly had Arashi's attention. Particularly once she was sitting down wagging that fluffy fox tail around. Giving another giggle as he reached over to grab and pet the fluffy tox tail, his own tail lashing around joyfully. He didn't grip her tail roughly, he was actually very careful if anything. "So soft and fluffy~" He practically cooed to the feeling of it in his hands. He just wanted to wrap himself up in her tail like a blanket and go to sleep. It would have been so perfect.
But the woman herself certainly seemed very pleasant too. "What, he has a monkey tail?" He asked looking to Cayle, scanning over him in search for the tail that Rosemary was mentioning, having not noticed it himself, though perhaps he should have. Even so he had so much going on, so much to think about, it was hard to know how to react and respond to it all. It was a little overwhelming in a way to have been taken in, and suddenly have what felt like a family to him. A place that would be warm, and make him feel loved. Breaking from his egg only days ago he had expected to make his way through a far harsher world, to have to fight and survive in the wilderness fighting and killing beasts for their meat. Instead, he had been found by these wonderful people and offered a home. If he thought about it too much, he might have cried about it, from the joy of the opportunity he had been given.

“I'm a Saiyan, not a human with a monkey tail. No Saiyan is just a human with a monkey tail, we're a separate people with our own culture and mores.” The Saiyan former farm boy said when asked by this fox woman, having been silent as Tiger Lily and Arashi went back and forth, focusing on finishing his food as Tiger Lily explained about glass blowing and the art of forming things with a kiln.
When Arashi reacted that way about this Rosemary the Fox woman's tail then asked about Cayle's own tail, the Saiyan unwrapped it from his waist. Any adult Saiyan tended to carry it upon them like that when wearing clothes or not in formal settings – or so Cayle had been convinced by what he'd seen in his life.
“Yes, all Saiyans have tails, at least at first – some lose them through attack or surgery or medical operation.” he seperated surgery and medical operation because surgery could be unwilling, medical operation rarely was.
“Arashi, would you like to pick which room you'd like to be your's for the moment?”
