After hours of traveling from the Fungus Village, Will has finally gotten to the eastern lands. Will looks down at the grassy lands below, however, there was a lot of foliage and trees in the way. Now it would be even harder to find Heater if he's driving through this way to find another village. Wait a minute, that's it, that's how he'll find him! All he needs to do is get to the next village before him and Will knows just the one, not too far from Orange Star City either. Will then uses his feet to steer the Flying Nimbus and curves through the air to take a shortcut. If he hurries he can be there before sunset. The begins to dip closer over the horizon and Will gets closer to his destination. After a while, Will sees his goal in sight, Aru Village. He then dips his Flying Nimbus down to get to the ground of Aru Village and jumps onto the ground.
"Everyone quick, pack up your things and leave! A dangerous criminal named Heater is coming to your town, you need to get to somewhere safe before he gets here!" Will shouted.
Everyone started to panic and pack their things before one man snidely snorted.
"Not so fast, you're really buying this shit! This guy could be just a thief who's tricking us all to leave so his bandit buddies can take our homes from us while we leave." scoffed the man.
"I'm part of the Turtle School, see my Gi! Plus I'm on a magic cloud that only lets the pure of heart on top of it, how would I be lying if I'm pure of heart." Will responded.
"Oh come on, you expect us to believe that?! I bet anyone can ride on that cloud!" the man says.
The man then jumps onto the cloud only to fall through it, picking himself off of the ground he dusts himself off.
"Well, you might've made me fall through it with your magic, that cape and weird stick screams warlock to me. Anyone can wear a gi that looks like that of the Turtle School and says they're one, proves it!" the man said.
Will couldn't believe how stubborn this man was, but if he needed to prove that his story is true, he knows just the way how. He walks into the center of the town. He looks up to the sky with his cape fluttering with the breeze. He puts down his staff and cups his hands together. And is surrounded by a bright white aura.
"Kame...hame...haaaaaaa!" he screams out as he launches a bright blue bream of energy into the air and parting a cloud it passes through.
As everyone looks in surprise, the skeptic including, Will turns them.
"You must leave, now!" he declares.
And that they do, as everyone begins to pack up their things and head off to safety. The elder of the village then comes up to Will.
"Thank you for alerting us of the coming danger, we hope once he is gone we'll have a village to come back to." the elder says.
"I'll try at the very least, I am going to face him before he even gets to the village. I only wanted to warn you all first so that if I were to fail none of you would be hurt." Will said.
"How very noble of you, I will give you my prayers that you succeed." the elder says before he walks away.
Will then starts out into the way Heater would come from, he then begins walking through it. As he is doing so the sun begins to drop even closer to sunset. The skies beginning to change from a light blue to orange. As Will walks through the forest path more forward. Awaiting his opponent.
"That Kamehameha was essentially a beacon alerting my presence, I guess I won't be able to use the element of surprise on him. At the very least, the minute he sees me he would figure out I was the one who fired it and would want to fight me here and now. Which is exactly what I would want him to do. Anything to stop him from getting to Aru Village and putting more lives at risk." Will thought.

"Well, well, well," Heater's voice is slimy, almost slithering through the brush as a rustle announces his presence, "You made that beam of light?" Heater seemed unsure, looking at the tiny cat man as if he were beneath his notice. He crossed his arms as he stepped fully into view. Heater was tall, with broad shoulders. His nose looked a little smashed, giving him a thuggish look to his face. His name's origin was obvious. His hair stuck up in fiery orange spikes, much like a crown of flame on top of his head. His hands were wrapped in big, puffy gloves. They were fingerless, with a pad around the knuckles. Not quite the stodgy mitts of boxing gloves, not quite the slim wrappings of a martial artist. This Heater fell somewhere in between. "Tell you this, Catmandu, why don't you go find the actual martial artist who launched that attack and bring him back here? I'm not in the mood to knock over any random old felines in the forest today. Serious challengers only!" Heater waggles a single finger back and forth as if shaming the cat dressed in funny clothes. Heater was much more practically dressed. Boxing shorts that left a large patch of his thighs bare, a tank top with the words "Hot Stuff" written across the chest, and rock climbing shoes that showed each individual toe. He was like a fusion between a boxer, a long distance runner, and a parkour enthusiast.
"I'll wait," he said, a smarmy smirk writing itself across his features.

Will then looked at the man, exactly as he looked in the poster. And he sounded just as disgusting as his actions. While he was talking put up a defensive stance. In case the man tried to do something sneaky. He doesn't appear to be very strong however, this battle could be easier then he thought.
"I am that one who launched that attack, consider that your warning shot for underestimating me. If you could sense Ki you would know how strong I am by comparison, if not then you are either suppressing your power level or just an above-average human who likes to prey on weaker ones. Are you proud of yourself for what you did, the people you hurt, that you killed?! Tell me, what is the point of all of this?! What are you hoping to achieve with all of this senseless violence?!" Will bellowed.
Will waited for an answer, but whatever this man's answer was, he was sure it would be something that would just fuel his anger more. No matter what though he shouldn't let his anger overtake him, he must instead wield it like a sword and use it beat the obstacle before him and instead of letting it control him. He must win so that this man will not continue to freely do as he pleases and cause suffering wherever he goes for whatever inane goals or sick twisted thrill he has in his mind. It's what he was taught, after all, to protect those that can't protect themselves. It's not just because of his own guilt for not being there when he could've been, it's about doing what he knows is the right thing to do.

"Really? You don't seem like a very strong guy...you're pretty puny. Your fists are like, an inch big. You can't be a worthy challenger..." Heater bent low to inspect Will, putting his smushed nose inches away from the feline fighter, as if trying to size him up. "...but if you really wanna get smashed flat before I go and see who the strongest person in that village is, well, I guess I can oblige. Your funeral, after all." Heater seemed satisfied at this decision, standing up and backing away, flexing and shifting his muscles to warm up for battle.
Will's shouting about morals and being angry seemed to only cause him to laugh out loud, as if an angry cat was funnier than a tiny talking cat. "You're gonna be too much fun to properly smush if you keep up like that, Catmandu! As for why? I only need one reason why!" Heater flexed his arms, showing off his biceps, "To fight strong people! To find the most powerful enemy before me, and crush everyone else! Easy fights are boring. If your village only has easy fights, I crush them! And encourage the next person to lead the village to get stronger! If a fight is fun, I still win, but I maybe don't kill you, so I can fight you again when you get stronger! I keep going until someone beats me! Which hasn't happened yet...but then I would get stronger an' try again!" Then Heater smiled wide, as if he didn't understand the magnitude of his admission. As if he weren’t talking about killing people with the same level of nonchalance that you’d reserve for discussing whether or not it was windy outside. But even worse, he followed it up with perhaps the most fucked up sentence of all. "If it was good enough for a legendary hero like Goku, then it's good enough for me!"
"But you don't seem strong enough for my full power, so I'm gonna tone it down on you just a tad to make it more fair..." Heater seemed utterly unable to sense Ki in his enemy if he thought Will was weaker than himself, but he took a deep breath, stilling himself. Then he exhaled deeply, and took a defensive stance, bouncing lightly from one foot to the next. Will would notice the most minute of powerlevel changes in the boxer, but he was indeed suppressing his powerlevel. "Alrighty Puss in Gi! Put 'em up and let's go! If you survive just two rounds at my weakened power, I promise not to kill ya!"

"I'm not from that village actually, I was just traveling and saw what you did with the last town you visited and decided someone should put you in your place, after all, it's all just one big ego trip for you, isn't it. All just to feel big in a world full of giants. I'll have you know that there's always someone stronger, not just me, but others out there in the world like the Demon King Piccolo who could kill you in a single blow. You're just a grain among the sand, and I'm going to be the wave that's crashing down on you. Cause I am not just a member of the Turtle School, I am a master." Will said. Will was able to notice the change in power level, even as he acts so smug that Will is stronger than him. "Either it's just him being able to naturally hold back or he does know how to use Ki and isn't even showing his full power, of course, he probably does know how to control and bolster his power but doesn't know how to sense power. It doesn't matter, pride cometh before the fall, and his pride is about to break harder than glass once I am through with him. This is going to be the harshest lesson I ever taught someone. Someone like him needs a lot of negative reinforcement. If it was anyone else who would fight and beat this they would just kill him, I have something else in mind though." Will thought. "Allow me to give you a counter-proposal, if you can take this first onslaught, then you will have to take me seriously and fight the rest of this battle with your full power, and the power I saw earlier I mean whatever true power you're hiding. But if that was that all there was then this is going to be a short thought." Will said. Will then began to stretch himself for a bit and enter a combat stance, and then he rushes forwards and he leaps in the air and onto his Flying Nimbus and flies in front of his opponent and eyes multiple points to strike. He then proceeds to send a jab at Heater's solar plexus. Will! stands his ground!

The fighting cat seemed to not like his reasoning, despite totally ignoring that Heater was following in the steps of the great and powerful Goku! That means his actions had to be worthwhile! This little cat was talking bout how other people were strong enough to kill him, but of course! Why else was he training against every strong guy he could fight!? He couldn’t approach the demon king until he’d beaten everyone else. Until he was strong enough to fight him on his own terms. That’s why he was doing all this! “One day I’ma fight King Piccolo, too! And when I do, I’ll kill him! Until them, I gotta train up, fight the little guys! Only then will I be strong enough to-”
Heater’s words were cut off, because the little cat zipped forward and tried to jab into the space in the middle of his chest. It was a split second attack, and when it was over...Heater’s forearm was in the way, guarding his sensitive soft spot. Will’s attack landed, but not with the force he’d be hoping for. “That was sneaky, attacking like that all quick-like on your magic cloud!” Will’s attack had been brutal, and a direct hit could’ve been very, very bad for the bandit. “Well if you wanna play rough, then I won’t hold back my power for you!” he declared, releasing the suppression on his power. The whiplash of power from low to high would temporarily blind even Will’s attuned senses, preventing him from using his power signature to home in on the boxer.
Then Heater grinned a dark, malicious grin. “MY turn!” he yelled, and he immediately began a hammering of double fisted blows, practicing excellent form and executing a marvelous one-two combo at the little cat. He'd feint one, dip right, then POW! Aim a sucker punch right at Will's face! Then he'd do it again, even faster, dipping left, feinting right, and swinging a painful uppercut into the cat's exposed chin. Lower power level or not, Heater was a trainer fighter, and Will would be sorely mistaken to treat him as anything but.

Of course, this guy is so delusional he actually thinks that he would get stronger if he keeps following this path. Sometimes the worst people are the ones that don't realize how horrible they really are, and it just gives Will all the more reason to win. Even as Heater blocks his guard his punch was able to do some damage to his arm. However, as he was about to use his senses to figure out his next move, Heater's sudden change in power startled Will. He ended up going on the defensive instead and putting his arms up. It was then that he was faced with a brutal barrage of highly coordinated boxing attacks knocking him off the Flying Nimbus and into a tree several feet behind him. Even though the difference in power between them is great, Heater is more trained then Will thought. If he hadn't followed this path and instead joined a Martial Arts School, he could've been a powerful defender. But Will had training as well, more training than this man could ever realize, it's not a matter of whose stronger, it's now about who has the most experience. Will barely managed to dodge a few punches a few brushes against one of his cheeks as he was hurt a lot from it. Even then he was still standing. "It seems what you lack in power you make up for it in skill, however, it's more so I made the mistake of underestimating you and getting up close in personal while close-range melee seems to be what you excel at. I, on the other hand, have trained in multiple forms of combat from long range to melee. I may not kill you, no you deserve something far worse than death, and I think I thought of the best way possible to not only teach you a lesson but also make sure you never hurt anyone ever again. Cherish these moments, cause this will be the last time you will ever use your arms again." Will said. He then waved his arms around as he begins to cup them together to begin charging energy. A blue light starts to form in his hands. "Kame...hame..." Will says. He then separates his hands with two balls of energy forming around his hands, which he proceeds to prepare to send a punch even though he is far from where Heater is standing. "KEN!" he shouts. He then launches a barrage of punches launching out many fists made of the energy he has been charging up, all of the fists are aiming for Heater's arms, even he was to guard it will still hurt greatly. Will! stands his ground!

”Oh you’re cute, Puss in Gi! But you’re starting to piss me off! Self righteous to a fault! We never get rid of King Piccolo if we just play pattycakes with him! The only path forward is through tough fists and brute justice! You, and the weak martial artists with your zen buddhist nonsense will see good humans as slaves to King Piccolo until the end of time! Nothing will ever change! Not until we TURN UP THE HEAT!”
Heater charged at Will a second time, but instead of launching into his punching, Will surprised him with the explosive blue wave of energy and his doomsaying pronouncement. Heater took it right on the nose, flipping head over tail backwards and skidding against the ground. He manages to avoid any major trees, but the attack itself was brutal. He exhales painfully, but plants a fist against the ground, as if defiant of Will’s proclamation. He shakily stands back up, his grin turning angry. His arms were battered and bruised, but he purposefully flexed them both. Stiff, requiring far more attention than before. Covered in bruises. But they still worked fine enough. “So it really was you what did that beam of light? That’s some nasty piece of work. I can’t do nothing that fancy. But you tried to take my arms. I’ll kill you for that! And my arms’ll do just fine to smash you flat!”
The air around Heater bent and flexed, and again a surge of power pulsed out and away from him. There was no visual sensation of powering up. No overflowing Ki that gave it away, but it was more preceptible than before, and Heater seemed to be getting stronger the more pissed off he became. Then he stepped forward and launched himself at Will, once again swinging. One, feint two, KICK three in an attempt to catch the cat man off guard. But he’d no sooner cleared his foot than he tried to knee the little cat into the air, creating a good setup up to take that very arm Will promised him he’d never use again, swinging a fist at the cat’s head. He didn’t say a word, but murder was in his eyes. His promise was only to let the cat live if he survived two rounds of combat. This was only the second. If he knocked him out here...who knows what would happen to poor Will?

"I've been called "cute", "baby", "kitty", and many other things like that for over 90 years at this point it does not affect me in the slightest. And second, it's not nonsense, if you had followed our teachers too could have learned how to use Ki as we do. That last attack that hurt so bad I wouldn't have done without what I learned. A shame no one in your life ever taught you how to be a decent human being." Will said. As he was going for the punch again at Will this time he was prepared, Will then begin to send Ki to his legs and began to sidestep left and right avoiding Heater's punches. Sometimes he would jump or leap over him, other times he would block it. However, it didn't stop Heater for letting a few sucker punches slide in. Even then he is not as worse off as Heater is, meaning he still has a chance to win this. "That was what I was able to do with what I learned. And here's another thing you could have learned too." Will said. He then began to scream loud as a white aura flares up around his body, and his muscles looking a bit thicker then they were before, his power also has increased but this man most likely wouldn't be able to notice such a change. "I'll start with one arm then," Will said. He then goes to the right of the weakened Heater and prepares to kick him in the radial nerve of his right hand, one of the many pressure points of the human body. If Will hits it Heater would feel a sharp burning pain in his thumb and fingers as well as trouble straightening his arm. Thereby preventing him from punching as accurately as he usually is. Will’s kick landed soldily, but not precisely where he intended to hit him. Heater’s hand wrapped around the foot, trying to ‘catch’ it and slow its momentum. It didn’t work. The entire hand snapped backwards, and his wrist broke with a ‘crack!’ sound, and the area around the wound immediately flushed red. But the pain shot into the man and he seemed, somehow, more angry than before. He held out the arm, broken through it was, and clenched a fist, his teeth grinding down against one another, biting through pain just to spite him. “I’m sick of hearing you talk down to people like you’re better‘an‘em!”
“You’re not wise. You’re not a master. You’ve done nothing to earn my respect. In fact all you’ve done is insult me, and you claim to be better somehow?! You claim you’re so strong, and so enlightened, and so good. And what do you have to show for it? Nothing! People still die! Daimao still rules the Southlands! All your words mean nothing when people suffer, but the only kind you care about is the kind you can punch! I’m trying to end the suffering at its source! Kill the demon king! What are you doing about it, cat?”
Again, the angrier Heater got, the more his power flared. It was still no Will. The man was on his last legs. But wispy white visible bits of aura flickered around him as his anger drew out that latent power within him. Heater was mad at Will for a variety of reasons. He seemed incapable of listening: he had just made up his mind and decided he was right, and ignored everything else said to him. He seemed determined to speak down to Heater: to treat him like some naive student instead of a man talking to a man, always assuming he knew better. And now he wanted to gloat. Heater was slowly coming to detest everything about the cat in front of him, and it made him more furious, and therefore more powerful, than ever.
So he rushed forward, attempting once again to feint with his broken wrist, knee at the cat with his leg to put his foe off balance, and then wind up for a whammy of a haymaker right at Will’s face. Only then would Heater turn around, sending a roundhouse kick towards Will’s stomach, hoping to put his feline foe down and prove a point.

"Well that's not what I meant to do and a bit excessive, but it works," Will thought seeing the brutal attack he just did on Heater's wrist. Unfortunately for Will, his instincts had him fall for the feint of the broken handed punch. As he saw the real attack coming he put his guard up. After being kneed, punched, and roundhouse kicked he is sent crashing to the ground. For a few seconds, he doesn't seem to move, it seemed Heater managed to beat him. However, he ends up picking himself up and getting up weakly. "I know that the Demon King is a large threat and people like me are trying to do something about it. The reason I am not showing you any respect is because of what I have seen of your previous actions, you don't deserve any respect from me. You killed a defenseless innocent old man who tried to reason with you and give you money for not ruining their home and leave them in peace, then killed even more people who tried to avenge him, and those were probably not the only ones. You let your anger and fear consume you and this quest for power of you is only leading to suffering. I am giving you a final offer, turn yourself in, or I'll break your arms as promised." Will said. Unfortunately, Heater would most likely turn down Will's offer. Which is why Will then gets into a defensive stance. The minute Heater tries to attack again, he'll counter by delivering a roundhouse kick to his left arm, and finishing off his right arm with a powerful chop. If he lets Heater get even one more hit on him, then he could be finished. This would decide the victor. Will! stands his ground!

”It’s not fear that guides me, you foppish old cat,” Heater said, his voice eerily calm. There seemed to be a lull in the fighting, but Heater couldn’t hide it anymore. That salvo was all he really had left. He was breathing heavily, the pain in his wrist was beginning to crescendo, and the break was forcing it to swell, making that whole arm stiff. “I’m not afraid of Daimao or his men. I’m angry yes, and with good cause. The people who were supposed to protect us, the same people you claim were the brilliant, honorable teachers who could no wrong, they left him on this planet. Announced it a lost cause and left him to fester. And you think I would learn from them? You think I could stand to sit and listen to a fool in a turtle shell tell me that there was nothing we could do? That I should just train and somehow that would fix all the suffering Daimao has caused?”
Heater scoffed, “My actions are a result of your inactions. I strengthen the people by removing anyone not strong enough to stand. I don’t kill if the person shows promise, so they can rise up and try again. I don’t act without making clear my intent. My honor is intact. But I don’t let anyone discourage me. No money, or begging, deters the judgment. If you call yourself a leader of men, you need to be prepared to fight. Otherwise you lead nobody into anything but death. So I culled the weak.” Heater shrugged, “Radical, yes, I suppose you would think so. The turtle moves slowly. It is not aggressive. It can hide behind its shell much longer than the rabbit. Well 400 years was long enough. I did something. Even now, even in vengeance, those villages grow stronger. Their people train to fight me. My legacy will make them all that much more difficult for Daimao to conquer.”
Heater knew he didn’t stand a chance, but he’d rather go down fighting than stand still and surrender. So he charged once more, one arm practically useless, the other low on power. He sacrificed the weakened arm, letting Will strike it not once, but twice, hearing the bone splinter, crying out in pain. He staggered back, mouth tight with pain. Then he fell, collapsing not onto his knees, but flat on his back, staring up at the sky. His eyes were open, and his arm was throbbing. Broken twice over, but excellent for guarding. He still had a good arm left, but not the energy to wield it. He should’ve stopped at least a round ago. This exchange was far overkill. “You only delay the inevitable, Catmandu. Daimao will move in for these people. If you’re not strong enough to stop him. If you’re not fast enough to be everywhere at once. If you can’t single handedly act as a shield for these people, the weaklings you leave behind, because you refuse my method of strenghening them...will scream as they die. Daimao cares not whether I am good or evil. He only cares if the people he kills are strong enough to stop him.”
Heater sighed, “I guess we’ll find out, won’t we?”

"Looks like you have overheated, and by the way, the name is Will O. Wisp, and I may not be strong enough to beat him now, or even was long ago, but I'll make sure to become strong enough to beat him one day. Your way of instilling fear into people just to make them stronger is no different than how the Daimao controls he has in his grasp. Plus unlike you, I know what happened to him and why he wasn't beaten back then. Roshi died nearly sealing him away again, able to live long enough to teach his students so they could continue his teachings and prepare us for the future. I imagine even now they are still training and getting ready to confront the Daimao again, however, with the army of Demon spawn that he has amassed it is now more difficult to get to him." Will said. He then got his staff out and wobbled over to the nearest tree and began to rest, he takes out his phone to take a picture with and starts to text on it before putting it back into his pocket. "I alerted the authorities about you, now you'll be incarcerated. I am not going to break your other arm, I almost had myself consumed with rage. I should've been there with the last village I attacked, I could've been there. Luckily I had warned Aru Village ahead of time of your coming and even if you had beaten me and killed me I would've stalled long enough for them to be long gone. I fought you knowing I could die and even as I had greater power than you and I still almost lost, even then without having the vast amount of strength I had thirteen years ago I was still able to beat you, I need to get stronger after my wounds are healed once I get back home. I hope you don't forget this moment, and if you need to remember well, you can always look at the stub where your arm would usually be." Will said. As they waited Will kept an observant eye on Heater with intent to beat him back down the minute he tries to escape. As he is watching he is able to notice the light around him is turning orangish meaning they have been fighting for a while now and that it is already sunset. Then Will begins to hear the sound of copter blades as he looks up to see a police vehicle to pick Heater up. Ropes are lowered as men come down to wrap Heater into a straight jacket and bind him to a stretcher so which then they then attack to hooks to along with ropes which take them back up into the copter above. With that, Will's job was done, there was no more reason for him to be here. There's one more thing he could do before checking to see if his house is okay. He gets out his staff and starts using it as a walking stick to help prop himself up and walk over to his Flying Nimbus. It seems he can still use it, that's reassuring. He then slowly grabs on and pulls himself up onto it as he flies off. As he is walking he notices a fireplace camp down below, on closer inspection, he seems to recognize a few people from Aru Village, might as well tell them the good news before he gets to Orange Star City. He swerves down as the people gasp as his presence once more as the elder comes to see Will still alive and approaches him. "I see from your wounds and the fact that you're still alive after going off to meet Heater means that you actually managed to beat him." the elder asks. "Yeah, I did, once morning comes you can all go back to your village. He was taken by the police and is going to prison or even an insane asylum so I am sure you won't have to worry about him ever again." Will said. "You did our village a great service, you have our gratitude, if there's anything you need we'll do our best to repay you in any way we can," the man said. "No, it's okay, I am just glad I was able to be here to help. Plus I already got awarded the bounty for turning that man over to the police. Now if you'll excuse me, I must be going now, "Will said. As he walked over back to his cloud his field of vision began to blur and he started to feel really dizzy, before falling down onto the ground with the last things he heard were a few screams. As he woke up he appeared to be in a hospital bed, he looked out the window it was already morning and there were many tall buildings. They must've taken him to Orange Star City's hospital. I guess they managed to find a way to repay him after all. It was then a bearded male nurse came in and was surprised. "Oh, you're finally awake. The villagers told me everything about what happened when they brought you in here. You're really noble for what you did. You're not going to be out just yet though, with the injuries you sustained you're going to be in here until this evening at the very least. You do seem to have healed rather quickly though, you're just lucky you only sustained some minor bone cracks." the nurse said. Will took the blanket off of him to see his whole body covered in very bandages, however even doing that had caused some pain in his arm. Although a part of it was his muscles were sore from what was an intense exercise along with the injuries he sustained from the battle. "It's alright, I needed a rest anyway after what I've been through. I'm no rush at all." Will said. The nurse then left Will with his breakfast, a plate of eggs, toast, yogurt, and an orange. Will started to enjoy his meal as he looked outside the window. He wondered how things were different since he's been asleep. Were the Turtle School actually not doing anything about the Daimao and his army in his absence, or was that the ravings of a lunatic from Heater. It's most likely the latter he shouldn't let what that guy said to get to him anymore now that he was victorious. All he can do now is to wait and see what the rest of the day will bring to him.
