North of the Grand Duke Castle plateau, nestled at the base of the naturally formed stone, a newly constructed estate was being built up surrounded by a lush forest amidst Oolong city. The blueprints were hand delivered to Juniper, as she had placed her request directly with the Tea clan to build here upon approval of her grandfather, it was the last barrier to protect the city from namekian invasions if the duchies ever failed in the duty to control their territories beyond, but her request would have been approved regardless since she would sharing the space with people she trusted. The estate was entirely built when she returned from traveling, shortly after the conclusion of the winter spectacular event, wasting no time in leveling the ground, placing a foundation, and raising the walls. The design was similar to the Grand Duke’s castles, with a modern take, it as single story home, with various sliding walls, and servants located throughout.
Juniper stood on the wooden bridge over the pond garden installation, she was waiting for Jade to arrive so they can plan building a training room together to hone their talents on the field. The tea princess was not a martial artist but she was a painter along with her mysticism she healed people and inflicted status effects with her new paint brush crafted with a dragon ball shard. It was only a matter of practicing with the speed of a formidable fighter. Rather than the maid outfit she traveled with, she was wearing her kimono, with a fur collar due to the cold air, as she was required to keep up her regal appearance in the city to display her status in public. The evening was quiet for the most part, a few servants stood by waiting inside, and out of the cold for their honored guests. [308/9,000]

Jade was recently informed that Juni, her best friend, was building a training room, and wanted the help of the cat ears girl. Jade was pretty excited about this. She finally gets to see the namekians and the monsters that she always has been talking to her about. Not that she actually liked them, but hey, experience is a really good thing to have. She walked among the woods, and as always, she wore her hoodie sweater and a skirt that reached above her knee. As the cold air brushed against her legs, She could feel the different ki signatures around her, as walked through the trees. After some time, she got out of the little forest, and saw this small pathway, in which she followed. And then, finally, she saw the wooden bridge which was over a pond from afar. Juniper was waiting for Jade on that bridge, as promised. Jade walked briskly towards her and once she got there. Once she got to the bridge, she revealed her cat ears, while she took off her hoodie and said "I'm here. But uhh, am I dressed appropriately? I think I overdressed a bit. Especially since we are going to construct a whole training room."WC: 205 | 205 Total Stronghold WC: 513 | 9000 Tags: Juni

“You’re telling me,” Juni chuckled, “I am wearing a kimono but I plan on using my mystic powers to build. I suppose a skirt would get in the way if you are going to manual route. Our method of training is different from each other. My bedroom should be filled with my clothes from the Grand Duke’s castle, I think I have a track suit you can have, and we seem to be the same size but if not I can use mysticism to change the fit. Follow me.”
The tea princess continued down the moss rock garden path towards the main entrance, servants slid the wooden panels open, that led to her room which was empty with a tatami floor, and no furniture. A sliding door revealed a walk in closet that lit up at the detection of movement with an entire wall filled with stacked racks of clothes and another wall full of cubby holes holding a myriad of shoes and accessories. The third wall was an entire mirror from the floor the ceiling. Juniper pulled out a green hooded tracksuit with matching shorts. It was out of instinct that she picked out something that complimented Jade’s eyes which was also jade in color by handing it over to the teenage feline.
“This would be more comfortable to wear. Do you want sneakers too?” She walked over to the wall of accessories to look for a pair and placed it on a cushioned grey fabric covered bench in the center of the ginormous closet.
“I will step out so you can change here in private.” Juniper slid the closet door behind her and walked back into her chambers. Another sliding wall opened to reveal her actual room, filled with ornate painted lacquered furniture, which included a basic bed, sofas, desk, and a tea table from the same maple colored wood. The tapestries were a dusty blue, which was her favorite color, and she took a seat by the tea table motioning over to a servant to bring freshly brewed tea, and snacks.
The tea and cakes were served in no time at all and she began sipping the hot green brew feeling rather relaxed in the newly built estate. It was not that different from living with her parents at the top of the plateau, most of the decor made it comfortable, and having her personal effects made it feel like home along with being independent.

Jade felt rather sad about wearing the wrong attire, but was thankful to Juniper, when she offered the feline girl her clothes to wear for the day ahead. No one has ever been this kind to her, and she couldn't follow her without saying thank you. Although, even if her clothes wasn't the size that they expected, she would use her mystical powers to change her outfit. Jade accompanied Juni, as she walked along the moss rock garden, until she got to the entrance of what seemed to be the girl's house. The servants slid the door open, and Juni led Jade to a room, which was rather empty, but another door was slid open, and revealed the closet that was filled with racks that had on clothes, and also, holes which had her shoes and accessories inside of them. Jade's eyes widened as the lights automatically turned on, as she has never actually witness this before on person, but rather, seen it on the television. The third wall was literally a whole mirror. The mystical girl looked at the clothes for a few moments, before she took up a green hooded tracksuit and some shorts which matched the tracksuit. While Juniper chose the outfit that she wanted Jade to wear, the feline girl looked around, observing the room. She then asked the feline girl if she would like to wear some sneakers. In agreement, Jade nodded her head, to indicate that she would like to wear sneakers with the tracksuit and shorts. Once she handed Jade the sneakers, she stated that would step outside for a bit, giving her some privacy, so that she could change her clothes. While she was changing her attire, she could smell the cake and the tea that was being served by the servants. It didn't take her too long to get changed, and once she slid the door open, you could see a jade green eyes feline girl, with a green hooded tracksuit, and a matching shorts with sneakers. She look up and down the hallway, and followed the trail of the smell that she picked up before and it led her to Juniper's room. It was.. better than the other rooms. It was the same size though, in Jade's opinion, with ornate painted lacquered furniture, which included a basic bed, sofas, desk, and a tea table from maple colored wood. There were blue tapestries in her room which nicely blended with.. the whole thing. "I like your room. It's nice.""Mind if I join you? Do I have to take off the sneakers?"Once she sat, she looked at the tea in which Juniper was sipping and said "Could you get some tea for me also?"She then proceeded to talk to her about something that has been happening for the past few days. "Uhh, I was wondering.. you see.. I kinda don't have a place to stay right now, and I've been all over the place recently. I was wondering if you know any place around here, in which I could stay for a while."WC: 514 | 719 Total Stronghold WC: 1435 | 9000 Tags: Juni

Juniper listened intently to Jade admit that she needed a place to stay, an indication that she was hoping for the tea princess to extend her kindness even further, and she smiled in response. Both of them were inexperienced with the outside world and were relying on one another to improve their talents to take on the world for all its worth. She reached out to serve Jade her a cup of tea, her fluid movements were elegantly executed by folding her drop sleeve with her free hand from covering the table, and her wrist rotated gracefully to pour a perfect cup. The iron pot with a wooden handle was returned on a porcelain painted heat plate with ease.
“Well, this is an estate that was never meant for my lonesome self and servants. I intended to build a future with able bodied fighters to reach a common goal of bringing balance to the world. If I am to hone myself as a healer it is by following those who would appreciate my talents.” She paused to sip her tea while it was still hot, in order to avoid the chill air from cooling it down as the porcelain vessel did not retain the heat, “If you feel that you match my expectations then you are more than welcome to choose your own room in this home and travel the world with me. It is still under construction, but we can work together from here on out, so we can accomplish much more. What do you think? Are you up for it all?”

Post by Koma on Jan 14, 2020 4:18:44 GMT -8
Koma of the Bear Clan now had a sizable stack of money in his own hands- or rather stored in one of the Ducal Owned banks within the city. More Zeni than he had ever seen in the entirety of his life, despite his long history as a mercenary and despite the fact that Ma'Te of the Tea Clan was one of his closest friends and the grandson of one of the Grand Dukes. He had further been paid for his services as an investigator in the case involving the death of Ma'Te at the hands of the Saiyan known as Romanus and his connections with the illicit criminal group of Saiyans which apparently called for the brazen hit.
Yet despite that, he did not feel happy with the situation on the ground in front of him. He was still without a home, without friends, and without the revenge which he so desperately desired. Further, he now could not hide behind being nothing, because after he brought the in construction sky-scraper near the Golden Rooster Gambling hall down, he had been brought before the Grand Dukes. Both of them.
In that instance, Yajirobe himself had tried to strike at the thirty year old Samurai, and Koma had barely been able to deflect it with the sword which he had been gifted by Ma'Te. There was something in that moment which brought back a flood of memories, frantic discussion, and the face of a woman who Koma had no conscious memory of seeing. A woman who somehow he felt he should have known better than any other woman in his life, a woman with slate gray eyes and curly brown hair, a bright smile and broad shoulders.
The sight of seeing the Grand Duke Yajirobe in the flesh was enough to send another flash of memory on his face. That man in his memories, looking just as judgmental as the grand duke was now looking at him. Memories of the man in his memories telling the woman in his memories that the boy's power level was too low, that he was too much of a liability, and that she could not marry his father. What good was a Samurai, even a Saiyan Samurai, with only one arm? Against any real threat, such as the Namekians, he would falter. Better to hide the failed sproutling than to place it in common view in the garden so that any passerby could cut it down before it could grow. A hidden seed which had not grown into a proper heir would not hurt the clan as much as a weak heir would.
It was then, with those memories flooding back to him, from when he was only a few days old, that Koma, the son of Swing, shifted his stance and moved as if to throw a sword slice at the grand duke before shifting his posture below the counter strike and slamming his knee into the old man's stomach. For a moment, rage unbridled flowed through the Samurai and emotions which had never experienced before suddenly showed themselves brightly among his psychic landscape. His slate gray eyes narrowed for a moment, before he stepped back. He probably couldn't take the Grand Duke in a fight, and even if he could, what did it matter? He couldn't fight his way through the Grand Ducal Palace, and even if he did successfully do that, he would have been with a bounty on his head so big that he would have never found peace anywhere in the world. He had probably just signed his own death warrant by slamming his knee into this fat man, this man who was his grandfather's, stomach.
Instead he found himself greeted by laughter. By the clatter of Yajirobe's sword dropping to the ground and the old man storming forward to hug him tightly. He didn't look the Grand Duke in the face, looking at the ceiling and wondering exactly what this meant, but he heard the words, “I was wrong, I am sorry.” uttered in an almost whisper, and then laughter.
“My grandson, Oolong. Was I ever so cocky as to attack someone without thinking?”
He wasn't even sure that was how their meeting had happened, or if that was what had happened, but in the process Koma had been inducted formally into the Clan of Yajirobe, the White Cat Clan, and had been told that there would be many members of their family which would want an audience with Koma , formerly of the Bear Clan.
The White Clan had been technically the sovereign clan over the region of land which he was raised in. It almost made sense, but could anyone call him dense? The kind of arrogance it would require to even consider yourself the descendant of a Grand Duke without some proof was unheard of.
The days which followed were largely a blur, but when they were over he had met many members of Ma'Te's clan, who thanked him for his assistance helping out with the resolution of their relative's murder, and a few members of his own clan who had come down for the New Year's Party and the Grand Ducal meeting. It was at that time that Yajirobe formally declared that Koma, Son of Swing, was Yajirobe's grandson.
It was embarrassing, but none the less he powered through it. The days which had followed were filled with training sessions to increase his abilities, many guided by the Swordsmasters of the Grand Dukes themselves, and being given a crash course in the proper rules of Pig Demon Duchies etiquette. As if a thirty year old man was going to relearn his every habit.
In the time that followed, he had taken to wandering the forest on the plateau which held the majority of the ducal palaces and castles within Oolong City, and it was that which had led him to this, sitting on the outskirts of yet another palace, slowly roasting a wild turkey which he had caught, killed, de-feathered, skinned, cleaned and removed the necessary organs of before beginning to roast it over a long unused campfire site.

Jade removed the sneaker nevertheless, and sat down, facing her friend, Juni. Juniper served the tea on which Jade had asked for, and while she did so, Jade explained the fact that she didn't have a place to stay. Once the cup of tea was served, Jade picked it up and took a sip. Jade was rather surprised when Juniper stated that the house wasn't really hers. Jade thought that it was hers really, because 1, she seems old enough to run the house, and 2, the servants were serving her. But Jade couldn't believe that she wouldn't have a problem with her staying there, with a few conditions, of course. She included travelling with her. Jade has a love for travelling to be honest, which is why she didn't turn down the offer. "Oh! I didn't expect you to let me stay in this house. I really don't want to be a bother. But since you wouldn't have a problem, I would love to stay here. I'll choose my room once we are finished with our current matter, building the training room. I should tell you something.. you know, I really like fighting you see. I don't do it for violence, but.. for fun. It normally makes me calmer, and helps me to clear my mind. Would you help me to train in your spare time? You don't have to if you don't want to." Jade then took a sip from the cup of tea and rested it on the table. “It must be the fighting spirit from deep within that allows you to enjoy a challenge. Do you have any kind of formal martial arts training?” Juniper refilled the tea cups with the utmost elegance, “I am not a fighter, I am just what people refer to as support for a fighter like yourself, together we can grow exponentially. I cannot teach you how to fight but I can use my mysticism to aid you in one. A balanced diet, exercise, and training regiment will aid our growth as well. No expense will be spared believe me.”
The cakes on the tea table were all made from rice, Juniper had a grilled sweet soysauce yakidango on a stick raised to her lips as she ate one small ball from it, chewing it delightfully. After finishing her treat she drank more tea and carried on the conversation, “Eat some cake too. You have traveled all the way from the desert, I am surprised you are not tired, and want to start on the training room right away. Rest a little and tell me if there is anything else you might need.”
While the young women relaxed, Hachi the black octopus was out delivering a letter to Koma of the Bear Clan after recognizing his power level from his initiation to the The White Clan at the Grand Duke’s castle on New Years Eve. The letter was wax sealed with the Tea Clan emblem of the top view of a tea pot, dark glittery blue in color, and Hachi stuck the envelope on the Half Saiyan’s tousled dark brown hair before it floated off the rock edge to return home.
The letter read as followed:

Jade didn't really have a formal martial arts training. She just.. throws some random ki blast around. She tries to increase her accuracy with her energy attacks. She was not much of the punchy type. So once Juniper asked f she had any formal martial arts training, she answered "Not really. I actually would love to have a martial arts teacher, if not a partner to train with. But.. what I normally just.. throw random ki blasts at random targets. Not people! If you are thinking about that. Like.. trees in the forest."
Juniper wasn't exactly the fighting type, but instead, she aids fighters, like Jade, in combat. "Hey, you know.. I could help you with fighting. You don't have to exactly punch people like all the time, but just.. use your mystical powers. I'm sure it's just like ki. It can be manipulated, correct?"Jade thought of everything as helping a sister of hers. Jade could learn something from Juniper and visa versa. Jade would love for Juniper to help her, well.. if she wants to. But at some point in time, Juniper would have to fight someone by herself. What if they were fighting together and Jade ends up going down, and there wasn't much time to heal her.. she would have to fight.. fight for her and her friend's well being. Jade shook her head in agreement when Juniper stated that eating healthy food and training regiment would help them in there growth.. to work as a team. To be fair, Jade was hungry, especially since she was surrounded by all of this food. Once Junipwr indicated that she could eat cake with her, she answered with a standard 'ok' and reached for one of the rice cakes. Once Jade took a bite, her face seemed for relaxed. She has never actually tasted rice cakes before, and now she has these as one of her favourite things to eat. After eating a few more of those delicious treats, she took a sip of tea and attempted to create a new subject, saying "I've always seen you with that paintbrush, and seen how exactly you use it. But, I'm pretty curious. Do you like painting?"WC: 367 | 1338 Total Stronghold WC: 3792 | 9000 Tags: Juni, Koma

After a month of expanding the Zen estate grounds, there was still a matter of acquiring additional residents, and landscapers had been presenting Juniper with design drafts for the foliage surrounding the land. The estate home was surrounded by three thousand acres of land, bamboo had grown quite wildly in a certain area as it was left unattended, and plans to harvest the bamboo to craft housing or furniture was currently in progress. The issue remained of what to replace bamboo forest as exposure to the elements would ruin the soil. After meeting Misaki, who helped resolve the Devil’s Cooks Gang, Juniper decided to invite the gardner over to take over the project instead by sending her a letter via Hachi who utilized his own spiritual energy to find people by their regardless if they kept it hidden or not as animals were gifted with innate abilities.
Hachi floated in the air to find Misaki out on a stroll in Oolong City, sticking the sealed letter with the Tea Clan wax seal in her dark green hair, and fluttered away gleefully.
The Letter read as followed:
After designing Jade’s living quarters to the pinkette’s taste, Juniper sat on a fluffy floor cushion in the feline’s finished room, and was eating freshly sliced fruit from a wooden tea table. It was mid-afternoon by the time they decided to take a break back home after spending all morning shopping for new clothes.
“I like how you decorate your room Jade--I notice something different every time I come in. It suits you completely. My room is too traditional apparently, maybe I should put some of my paintings up, but most of them are calligraphy.” Juniper nibbled on sliced pear. “Did you meet a martial arts master yet to help you out with your training regiment? I have been researching how I can use my mysticism and be able to fight offensively. I feel that I am pretty close at figuring it out so maybe I can join you in a spar and practice what I have learned so far.”

Post by Fenrir on Jan 23, 2020 19:44:40 GMT -8
It was amazing how quickly things had picked up for the wolf. First, he met an attractive young woman, and an equally pleasing young man, in a hot spring. The woman was named Juni, and she was some kind of mystic healer, or at least that is how she described herself, and she was also the 'youngest grandchild of the Grand Duke Oolong', another way she used to describe herself. She was also strange; she was unlike any other person he had met before; she had two forms, two faces, and both of them were rather appealing to the wolf for various reasons.
The original form that he witnessed her in was, what she described, more socially acceptable. She looked like any other young woman that he would walk by on the street; black hair, fair faced, and rather unremarkable. That was not to say that her appearance was not aesthetically pleasing, because it was. In this form, she was very cute. But, she looked like any and every single person that Fenrir had walked past, was walking past, and will walk past in the past, present, and future. There was nothing about that appearance that stood out.
Well, ok, that was a lie. There was one thing about her appearance in her first form that stood out, but it wasn't a detail which was confined to that form. It was the small hovering octopus that she kept with her, and he had spotted the octopus first when he walked into the common area of the hot spring. Only after did he notice the young woman that the small creature was hovering near.
The young woman's other form was much different and it was what she had called her true form. It was taller, had ashy grey skin, and had horns growing from its head. He found the form to be quite attractive, quite beautiful, and unlike Beruto who called the young woman a monster when he saw her true form - much to the wolf's chagrin - Fenrir actually found this form to be equally as beautiful as the other, if not more so. This was her true form, this was what she looked like naturally when she wasn't putting up the pretense of being a normal human being just for the sake of making humans comfortable. That true form made the wolf smile; why not be yourself? She could be herself whenever she felt like it; the wolf, on the other hand, was stuck in the flesh prison to which he was bonded.
Not long after meeting the young woman there, it was by sheer happenstance that he ran into her again. This time, it was in Oolong City, or Sin City as many people had come to know it as. He wound up inside of a rather important meeting; one which was attended by Dukes and Princes and once again, there was Juni. She even offered him a place to stay, and he very cordially accepted her offer.
He had, after all, nowhere else to go, as he knew no one else in Oolong City. So, following the young woman's directions, the blue haired and very tall man found himself outside of the large estate, looking at the front doors with a look of curiosity. "Hm," he tapped his chin, scratching his chin somewhat. He had nothing on his person; well, he had his clothes, the red leather pants, the red leather jacket with the furry lining around the collar, and his red vest which hid little of his upper body and chest - though the cold air didn't bother him so it didn't matter.
Should he knock? Well, he had been invited, but he was not given a key. Could he knock? He looked around. There was no one around. So, throwing caution to the wind, the well muscled man reached up and knocked. He gave the door several good strong raps of his knuckles as he stood there in silence. He waited for a few long drawn out pregnant moments before he reached up and rapped his knuckles on the door once more.

It's been a while now since Jade has been living with Juniper, and it has been great, to be honest. Jade was doing some cleaning at the time, and had took off her paw gloves to eat some sliced fruits. She sat on a floor cushion, and she listened attentively when Juniper complimented her about her room. "Hmm.. you know, I could help you with that. Maybe you could paint some new ones too. Wait.. why not? While you're painting something new, I could also learn how to paint. Sounds good, huh?"Juniper then asked about that martial arts master that Zaru had told her about in their spar, which was her first spar. He told her that she was rather talented, and already knew how to manipulate ki, so if she got a martial arts teacher, this could be further enhanced. "Uhh, not yet. But I'm still searching."Thankfully, Juniper was researching on how to use her mystical powers in combat. Not to only heal, but also to attack. Jade offered to help her with that once, but she wasn't exactly sure if it was just like regular ki. "Oh. Did it state if it was just like manipulating ki? Because if it did, I'm here to help you with that."Once she said that she was rather close to finding out how to use it, and she actually might be able to join her in a spar and probably practice and train with her, Had smiled and said "That's great. Now we could actually train together now. I'm sure we aren't building that training room for nothing."
Saying this, she took a slice of apple and nibbled on it. WC: 281 | 1338 Total Stronghold WC: 3792 | 9000 Tags: Juni, Koma, Fenrir

“Yes, we can spend a day painting Kakejiku, and hang them throughout the estate, but I am nervous about actually having one of my creations on display. While I did study the four arts, the HUA was my weakest subject, I have a tendency to stick with black and white. Apart from my colorful clothing, working with color on a brush is difficult to master, I mean, I change my mind about the color I make, and I am not efficient like most artists.” The tea princess reflected. “Perhaps you should post a job on the internet about looking for an Instructor and interview them here. I am sure we can learn a lot from each other by training but my duties with the Grand Dukes and the Pig Demon Duchies has been keeping me busier than usual--it is kind of annoying to be honest but I cannot afford to complain.”
She took a bite of a cantaloupe melon ball she picked up with chopsticks and tried to forget about her duties for a minute by scanning Jade’s room more.
“So, do you know how to play guitar?” Juniper looked over behind Jade who had a guitar on a stand on display connected to an amp near the foot of her bed, “I do enjoy music, quite a bit, but I haven’t taken the time to learn how to play an instrument yet. We should visit Orchestra village sometime, it’s on the coastline of the western lands, and the entire village is carved into the cliff face. All the famous musicians are from that village and eventually end up in Oolong City but the village itself has a gorgeous vista of the ocean.”
~
The reason Fenrir did not receive an answer immediately at the grand estate, was due to his arrival taking place at precisely the same time zen staff were occupied switching between breaks, and it was Hachi that detected his power level at the door. With strong tentacles, the floating octopus opened one of the double doors, and revealed the grand tatami mat entrance. While the octopus could not speak, he danced in the air, happy to see a familiar friendly face, and closed the door behind the demon when he stepped inside.
Rather than stand by, Hachi escorted Fenrir further into the massive home, the entire structure was shaped like a W, they were presently in the middle, and they turned east towards a wooden walk way that held several rooms belonging to the residents.
The morning sun spilled into the long open paper paneled hall that overlooked plum trees surrounding an entire courtyard garden. It was until they reached the end of the hall, Hachi opened a sliding paneled doorway, where Juniper and Jade were sitting on the floor eating sliced fruit on a low wooden table.
“Fenrir!” Juniper smiled widely, she scooped up the hem of her navy blue kimono as she rose up, and clasped her hands together with equal excitement. “Good morning! I have the perfect room for you. I recall you mentioning that you enjoy baking as a hobby when we were at the West City spa, so I took the liberty of having an entire corner unit equipped with a kitchen, I had you in mind when it was constructed, but now you can actually use it. Let’s go Jade!”In her excitement, she hovered on the wooden hallway without creating a loud sound on the floorboards, her double step was still done gracefully in her zori sandals she managed to slip into when she left Jade’s room. The zen staff emerged from within the main hall and rushed over to open the wooden panel entry way leading to the room in question. “It’s small but we can always remodel it, let me know, our architects can probably punch through the ceiling and have an entire second floor be a full kitchen, but you also have access to our main kitchen. It is at a five star wolf gang motorcycle guide restaurant standard, they just achieved their rating a couple of weeks ago, and it is not open to the public. The cuisine our head chef makes is customized to our resident martial artists to perfection, so if you plan to stay a while, I can take to give you a nutritional test, and determine what diet needs you require adjustments to be at your maximum potential.”

There was no reply for a few seconds. He stood there, a cool wind was blowing through the area and it felt quite comfortable. In fact, he hardly noticed it, but it was because the cold never really bothered the wolf. Even if he was wearing clothing that many would consider rather scant; it showed off his torso quite a lot, and he wasn't ashamed of showing off. Why bother? Why bother feeling shame? Everyone around him tended to have such fleeting lives while his appeared to continue on, stretching like taffy for years. Decades became centuries and centuries crawled on as those around him aged and perished and their offspring and their offspring and their offspring aged and perished, and yet there he was. He looked the same now as he did two hundred years ago. His smile never wavered.
Perhaps everyone was busy? Or perhaps he had not knocked hard enough? He had considered knocking once more, when he heard some movement on the other side of the door. The door shuddered somewhat and then slowly one of the two double doors swung open. But, there was no butler or maid standing there to greet him, he had half expected there to be one given the grandiosity of the grounds at which he was currently standing. Instead, hovering in the air was a familiar little creature, that familiar octopus.
"Oh, Hachi," The light blue haired wolf grinned wide, especially as the small octopus bounced about in the air with excitement at seeing him, "I'm happy to see you too," He leaned in and tickled the small hovering creature. He did so quite gently so as not to hurt it, patting it softly on its head, "It's been a while since I saw you."
He noticed that the small octopus was allowing him inside and inside he stepped. Though, as he stepped inside, he noticed the room he was walking into. It was more than a little elegant. He had not been in a room that looked like this in a long time, "Wow, these are some fancy digs you got here, Hachi. I guess that makes you the Lord of the House?" He said in a friendly teasing tone, smiling at the small octopus before he deftly removed his boots and slipped his feet into a pair of slippers he found nearby; he had noticed the tatami floor and knew it would be considered rude and improper of him to walk through the room in his boots. It could track dirt into the room and stain the tatami mats. So, to avoid that, he guessed that someone had laid out slippers near the entrance for anyone entering the manor to walk through without having to go completely barefoot.
So, allowing his eyes to trace over every detail he could about the room, from the tatami floors to the intricate wall panels, Fenrir followed the small hovering Hachi deeper into the building. The octopus knew where to go, or so it seems, and he kept up behind it, staying at least two steps behind so as not to get lost despite his eyes constantly wandering around the place.
They took a left and that led them to a nice passage. The external walls appeared to look like rice paper but he was sure that wasn't the case. There was a good breeze sweeping through due to the open doorways, as well as a bit of light. It was quite cozy and he liked the atmosphere of the place as he walked through it, following the little hovering octopus.
When they reached the room where Juni was waiting, apparently with the cat girl whom Fen had first spotted leaping over the wall into the building where the meeting about the Devil's Cook's Gang took place, he was greeted warmly and he, in turn, grinned at the young woman, "It is nice to see you too. You as well," He peeked over at Jade, "I see that your front is as nice to look at as your back." That last part he said as a tease before he followed Juni out of the cat girl's room and headed to the room that she had offered to him during the meeting. It was different than Jade's. This one had a small kitchen, not the largest but it was quite good, there was enough counter space for him to get some work done and there was also a good enough amount of room for a rolling island to be added in case he needed more counter space, something that could be used for extra storage.
"This is quite nice." He looked around the room. "I did not have a room of my own until now, so this will more than do for me."
He walked around the room, tapping his chin, as if he were considering how he would try and decorate it. "I will have to buy a few things to decorate the room to my own taste. For now, all I've got is this." He pulled out a small object from his pocket. It looked like a small figurine; it looked like a small toy soldier, about two inches tall. He placed it atop one of the small single shelves on the wall that was probably meant to house a plant but he decided it would do for a great display spot for the figurine instead.
"I've not had anyone offer me a room of my own in a long time," He confessed, looking back at the young woman and the hovering octopus, a small smile crossing his handsome features, "I'll make sure to treat you all extra nice with some baked goods later after I get some grocery shopping done." He did notice that the room he was given had a small rolling pantry that could be squeezed beside the modest sized refrigerator; he would have to fill both with ingredients soon if he wanted to make them any snacks.

Cobalt eyes watched Fenrir place a figurine on one of the shelves to make the decor his own. It pleased Juniper that the room was well suited for Fenrir, the mention of groceries reminded her that there was a store room past the curtain next to the refrigerator, and she looked inside which seemed mostly stocked of dry goods. “Well, there is an assortment of dry goods here, specifically for baking, including whole grains if you feel like grinding them to powders yourself, and I believe everything that holds well in storage is here. Follow me, there is more.” The tea princess walked through the navy blue curtain that led into the store room and slid a glass paneled doorway outside. A water canal cut across the entire north end of the estate, the doorway overlooked a few storage sheds, an abundance of colorful flowers, and a garden. The flowers were of the perennial variety, most importantly they were all edible, and she plucked a pink colored snapdragon that was nearest to the stone steps. “All the flowers on the estate are edible, the servants do their best to maintain them, and use them in our food as well. The land is quite fertile in that anything you plant will grow here. Before your arrival I had Hachi deliver a letter to Misaki-san, if you recall meeting her at the tea house a while back, and dealing with the devil’s cook gang--the green haired woman with the parasol? Perhaps she will accept my invitation to landscape the rest of zen acres and potentially be self sustainable living off the land.”Juniper returned inside and continued towards the outdoor wooden deck of the inner courtyard of the estate with a smile. “Rest up, there is no need to get into making anything today, but I do look forward to trying out one of your baked goods. Let me know if you need assistance...though I am not sure how helpful I would be given that I rarely cook. Ah! Hachi can help, he is the best sushi chef, that takes quite a bit of dexterity to master, and maybe he can apply those talents with baking--though I doubt he can handle loading anything into the oven without injury given that he doesn’t have long tentacles to fit into oven mitts.”
Hachi was up for the challenge, while the octopod did not communicate with anyone verbally, it was the body language that expressed what he was thinking with anyone that held a conversation with the creature. “There are servants waiting within earshot who work in rotating shifts if you need anything, just ring the bell if you need their assistance, and if you need me specifically you can just boost your ki signature. I feel that is the best way given how grand this home is. Further in the room, past the television set, you will find a bedroom and a stone soak bath underneath a wooden lid--it’s not like the spa but maybe I should consider building one connected to our training centre. Hmm.”
Deep in thought she left the room to look for Jade as the servants proceeded to close the paneled sliding doors to give Fenrir privacy in his living quarters. [542] [6,069/10,000]
