Dahlia walked home from school in a bad mood as she remembered what happened at school, normally she could brush off such things even if they did make her want to cry sometimes, but those emotions seemed to ignite anger that the girl had never felt before as she wondered if that dark crystal had anything to do with and gaining this dark powers...could these be the side effects? "Its not fair, I was supposed to take him to the dance" she said walking as a few cars passed by as the memories burned through her mind. (West City High Student Hazel) "Listen Dahlia I heard that you were going to ask Rayon to the dance, well you can forget about it or me and my friends will make you regret it!" She threatened as her and her two friends pushed Duhlia and left, good thing they did because the girls eyes were flashing back and forth between purple and crimson. They were doing the same thing at present too as her anger was building to where she wanted to punch something, "what the heck is wrong with me I never get this angry?" she said pulling out a small make up mirror from her pocket seeing that her normal purple eyes were indeed flicking between normal and the crimson eyes of Moth Violet. "You want to take revenge on that girl Moth Violet?" Her demon master Moth Yokai asked her in her mind always watching his minion as he wickedly wanted to tempt her to use her power against those weaklings. (Dahlia Lumin) "I sure feel like it! But I shouldn't its wrong," She said starting to breath faster as her heart rate was such that she could heart it pumping in her ears. "Maybe you should, how would anybody ever know it was you. She can't take Rayon to the dance if you use your powers to squash her like the weakling she is Moth Violet" He said in her mind always calling her by her alter ego name even when she was just Dahlia much to her annoyance sometimes. "No I am not going to do that!" She shouted knowing it was wrong, but she felt the transformation coming on rising like a volcano as she realized she couldn't control it. "What is happening? No, no no! I can't control it!" She said running into a park as her eyes glowed crimson realizing to her utter despair that she was not in control of her power to transform like she thought she was. "You say you don't want too, but I think deep down you really do! The powerful should take what they want!" He said as Dahlia transformed. (Moth Violet) As a smoke of fading demon aura cleared Moth Violet Dark Magika Senshi stood eyes blazing red. (Moth Violet) "The powerful should take what they want, well I want Rayon, he should be with me not that hussy!" she said uttering her master's words like they seemed to be on the same page the struggling sweet girl's personality flipped and her dark personality traits, greed, anger, ambition and for the moment to get what she wanted. And what she wanted was to make the blond girl pay and to go out with the boy she wanted to even as trivial as that may of seemed to others, but to a teen high school girl it was important. And she had to the power now to force things to be her way. The villianess moth girl would hunt down that blond girl Hazel and unleash teenage dark magika wrath on her. The afternoon was bright and sunny. Clear blue skies stretched from horizon to horizon, occasionally dotted with thin white clouds that looked as soft as cotton.
Traffic lined the roadways, cars honking as impatient drivers shot fists, fingers, and foul words alike out of windows at each other in passing. Shoppers milled about, bags of clothes and goodies dangling from their arms. Businessman pressed cellular phones to their ears and spoke in obnoxious tones about impending deals, stock market predictions, or complained about the dog-eat-dog nature of their professions. All in all, life in general seemed to trickle along at its usual pace. Her stomach grumbled.
Nanao groaned as she pressed her small hands to her tummy.
"Uggghh..."
The empty sensation seemed only to grow worse with each passing minute.
When she had set out on her own personal adventure to travel the lands in search of the shiniest treasure she could find, Nanao hadn't accounted for certain things—such as where her next meal would come from. Or carrying luggage around. Or the severe lack of zeni she often found herself facing.
There were options, of course: odd jobs to be performed, such as running deliveries or errands; the ever-present fighting tournaments that seemed to be hosted every weekend like clockwork. But the problem with fighting in tournaments was, well... the fighting.
Nanao was fast, and her animal-like reflexes served her well when she found herself in a tight spot she needed to escape. Fighting one on one against big scary men and powerful women? It was a different story altogether.
Besides... who wanted to hurt a cute and tiny thing like herself?
But the problem wasn't that people wanted to hurt her.
It's... it's more like—
Eeeeeek!
"Hrm?"
She snapped out of her reverie, ears perking at the sudden anguished cry. There, up ahead! A sudden commotion was taking place. Nanao's tail swished idly behind her as she stared wide-eyed in the direction of the noise.
She could sense it. A sharp spike in ki, and it felt ominous. What should she do? Ignore it?
She glanced around herself, yet there wasn't a uniformed officer in sight. No one else to quell the commotion. Another terrified scream split the air. That dreadful ki continued to grow. If someone didn't do something soon...
—more like I keep finding trouble to stumble into!
She couldn't just ignore someone crying out for help.
Nanao took off at a light run, weaving in and out of the crowd of folks that occupied the cramped sidewalks. Times like these, her small size worked well to Nanao's advantage, and it didn't take long to reach her desired destination.
Some sort of moth lady was attacking a group of high school girls!
She had to intervene to help them.
But...
Her eyes latched onto that pair beautiful violet colored wings. Her upper lip twitched, as did her ears. Her tail swished behind her. Something akin to madness started to creep over her.
Those wings! I've got to have them!
She could already imagine the velvety texture between her palms. Nao wondered what they would taste like if she nommed on them. Good? Disgusting? As hungry as she was at this point, did it even matter?
No! People are in danger! I have to focus!
She snapped out of the strange trance and pounced, landing in the midst of the commotion.
"Stop right there, evil moth!"
Nanao shielded the distraught high school girls, arms spread wide at her sides as she glared in defiance at the purple moth lady. So... she was the source of the ominous aura Nao had been sensing. It was unlike anything she'd ever felt before.
It was terrifying, to say the least.
"Y-You... leave these girls alone!"
She tried to muster up her courage, but her voice came out as little more than an incessant squeak. Before the powerful visage of this lady, Nanao had never felt so weak or insignificant in her life.

Moth Violet crimson eyes turned away from the blond girl Hazel and her two scared friends where were at least for the moment saved from a beat down by the super powered dark magika senshi. "Who are you supposed to be?" She said not looking impressed at all seeing clearly by the scared look of the cat girl and her nervous voice that she seemed scared as the three girls ran away leaving only the moth and the cat near a 7-11 store across the street from West City High School. Moth Violet glanced at the girls running, 'tch, I wasn't finished with them! Why would you help them? They bullied me and tried to take a Rayon away from me" she said getting even more angry "That is no ordinary cat girl, sense her out, do not underestimate an opponent just on looks alone," her master Moth Yokai said in her mind fearing for his only minion who could carry out his resurrection. "Well if she is not normal than I don't need to hold back!" She replied to her master as if she was strangely talking to herself. The Moth Girl slamming her small fist into a DVD Red Box with such force that it was knocked into a tumble crashing into the street as she made a scene acting rather bratty and unhinged, she clinched her fists losing any sense of self control wanting to hurt this cat girl. It seemed the dark energy that gave the Moth Girl her powers was pushing her aggression beyond normal logic for such a situation pulling the strings of her emotions instigating her to fight. She grinned looking at the wrecked Red Box machine finding her new found powers to deal destruction intoxicating the teen never having really any control over here life, her parents, here school, the police, she started to realize she could really do as she pleased in that moment making her laugh as she turned back to Nanao. (Moth Violet) "Did you just see what I did to that Redbox? You're next!" She said balling her fists and shifting herself into a fighting stance her master had taught her. Car brakes squealed and horns blared as drivers swerved to avoid the damaged automated DVD dispenser as it tumbled end over end into the street from the force of the evil lady's blow. A pile of DVDs spilled from the machine and scattered all along the sidewalk and street. People who witnessed the scene gave them a wide berth as some went yelling and screaming for help. The three school age girls seemed especially terrified as they trembled in a huddle behind Nanao who bravely stood with arms outstretched, using her body as a shield and a buffer so that no harm came to them. Nanao's limbs trembled, her knees practically knocking together as she stared in fear at the woman. An icy chill crept into her chest and gripped her heart in its tight embrace. The energy pouring off of this woman was DEMONIC in nature. Nanao had never quite encountered such an aura before, but she'd heard about it. This lady's behavior exuded such malice and aggression, and from the sound of things, over something as trivial as a boy. Is THIS what it meant to like a boy? She hadn't had that experience herself yet. It also didn't help that most men mistook her for a small, half-raccoon child. In truth, she was a grown woman able to alter her size and shape at will, though it largely tied into her own confidence levels. Nanao knew she should transform from her childlike stature into her true form, but what if that only antagonized the woman? Did she really intend to fight her? She could sense her ki—it pulsed and throbbed like some malevolent thing. She was far stronger than anyone Nanao had yet to encounter in her travels. Yet, still... "I..." Her voice was a bare squeak in light of Moth Violet's rage. She forced herself to swallow the lump that formed in her throat. "I-I... I a-am..." Courage. Courage. Courage!Her frightened eyes narrowed and took on a look of grim confidence. Nanao stood as tall as she dared, arms and legs stretched to their limits as she reasserted her chosen position. "I am the hero! And I cannot let you harm these girls, even if it IS over some boy!" It sounded silly. But a hero didn't pick or choose their battles. They fought every battle as they came. "I don't care if you picked your nose and they LAUGHED about it. You can't go around hurting people just because you're upset! Now go away! SHOO!" Why couldn't she stop shaking? Her outstretched arms quivered. Her legs shook beneath her, as if they could give beneath her weight at any moment. Her bushy tail flicked and darted about behind her, betraying the anxiety that blossomed in her chest. Her face flushed red as Big Scary Purple Moth Lady screamed at her for protecting the girls, causing Nao to flinch with fright. She staggered back a step or two, overwhelmed by the ferocious dark aura that blanketed the area. It pressed down upon her body like a lead blanket, an ugly and oppressive thing. How could something that felt this evil exist? Could she honestly fend this lady off and protect these people? Did it really matter whether she believed she could do it or not? She was a Hero of Justice, just like that man who saved her so many years ago. She would never give up! She doubled in size at that moment as she achieved her true mature form. The leather half armor expanded with her swelling bosom, as well as her shoulders, wrist gauntlets and riding boots. Her tail grew longer as well, thick and bushy. A man grabbed the mean moth lady's wing, causing an unexpected but much needed distraction. Nanao held her position, glancing back over her shoulder at the frightened school girls. "I don't know what you girls did, but you might way to run away while she's distracted." Two of the girls nodded and scampered off. Only one hesitated—the blonde girl. "I-I..." It seemed like a confession of guilt. Nanao turned her back briefly, bracing her hands against her hips as she fussed at the girl. "There's no time for that now! Get out of here." "What? how the......" Moth Violet jaw dropped as the small "kiddy kitty" became her size in height and seeming age, whatever the case she was no longer a lil kid cat girl to be taken lightly as Nanao spoke. She didn't even have a chance to really harm the three girls as she realized she had something as her master had warned that was not ordinary on her hands. "I don't know who you think you are, but I've had about enough of you. It's time for you to face a true Hero of Justice!" She said looking different this time as if she was ready for this it was completely different from the timid catgirl she had witnessed up tell now."She's changed, somehow she is like me! She can transform too!" She said as her stomach sunk realizing she could have the exact same powers as her and not only that she was wielding a small sword, nobody had every pointed such a weapon at her before as she gulped not liking the idea of getting harmed with it. Up tell now Moth Violet had dealt mostly with commoners she could bully as she pleased, but strangely now it was like looking in a mirror at another girl who had seemingly magika powers of some sort which stunned her.Suddenly her master appeared as a phantom behind Nanao leaning on the wall of the 7-11 which only Moth Violet could see and harmless just being an astro projection,(Demon Lord Moth Yokai) "You had a chance kill them all and you squandered it! Tell you fully give into your demon powers and my teachings things like this will happen Moth Violet. You're too soft! Now what are you going to do I wonder?" He said though only Moth Violet could hear him as he faded out making Moth Violet blink at her master vanishing behind the cat girl warrior.
The expression of her master disturbed her even more than the that sword wielding cat girl as Moth Violet took a step back trying to take in what her master said, "Should have I have really have killed them?" She thought to herself the idea making her sick to her stomach even in her deviant dark magika form. (Moth Violet)

How was it possible the woman was angrier than before?
Nao felt her own courage beginning to slip away. Once more the trembling returned to her hands, though she tried to hide it by gripping its hilt tighter. But there was a thought tugging at the rear of her mind—a thought of self-preservation.
The girls had escaped.
There was no one left to protect.
Her animal instincts roared in her mind, and her legs jerked as if they couldn't decide what to do. The anxious sweep of her tail and the nervous tick of her twitching ears revealed that, despite putting on her bravest face, she was still beyond terrified.
Oh... no!
Her size began to reduce once more, until she barely resembled a small child once again. Nao's eyes widened, a squeak escaping her as she dropped her sword and turned, scampering away on all fours as her animal instincts took over completely, fear driving all human sense from her mind as she retreated.
Call her a coward if you liked—she saved three girls, and would live to fight another day. She'd find some other moth wings to nom on!

The cat girl having changed back to her kid form had saved the girls and was attempting to escape but if there was one thing Moth Violet was good at it was speed and agility as she cut her off smirking down at the small beastgirl. "Where do you think your going? What happened to all that courage!" She said grabbing the kid by the collar and raising her in the air as the panicked Nanao her eyes closed in fear spoke up in a scared voice. "Please stop all this, your hurting people!" She said as for a moment Moth Violet hesitated a glimmer of remorse only to be flooded out by a burst of rage as she shouted (Moth Violet) "Shut up!" Moth Violet shouted kneed her in the stomach watching her ball up on the ground as Nanao yelped in pain in the parking lot of the 7-11 the dastardly moth girl's crimson eyes scanned for that sword she had showed off before in Nanao's magical transformed state, "it must only appear when she is in that bigger form" she thought to herself. "Now finish her off before she can transform again!" He master spoke firmly into her conscious this time in a tone demanding it as Moth Violet blinked her stomach sunk at the thought of crossing that line. "She is just a kid....I can't," she said closing her eyes," she said feeling like she could stomach it. "No you must! She is an enemy if you cannot kill her how do you expect to resurrect me? Did it ever cross your naive mind that would be heroes like this would stop you? You must strike her down! Kill or be killed! That is the Demon Race's ways you must embrace!" Her master said ruthlessly as his words hit Moth Violet like a brick wall. If she didn't kill this wanna be hero her master was right, what if people like her got in the way of her resurrecting her master as the dark demon energy inside her pushed and instigated her darker thoughts, would she really have to kill to get her and her master's way in the end? Moth Violet expression became more hostile trying to fill herself with enough hatred in her heart to go through with the execution as she started to summon a purple ki into her right hand. "I did nothing wrong, I have to be strong! I have to be strong! I HAVE TO BE STRONG!" the cat girl cried to herself holding her stomach until she ignited into a burst of burning magenta ki aura with such force it blasted Moth Violet back flying through the air tell she crashed in into the door of a parked red Beetle bug car groaning from the pain of the impact leaving her body as a dented imprint in the car (Nanao Transforming) Moth Violet rattled for the first time in the entire fight pulled herself from the dented metal of the damaged car a little shook up as she rubbed her head, (Moth Violet) "Not again...is her transformation triggered when she is cornered or something?" she said not understanding how she managed to pull it off twice bewildered and trying to shake off the minor damage surprised that seemly cowardly catgirl had any fight life in her, this fight seems like it could be far from over.
