"Whelp, that's the last of the wood we will need." He muttered to himself, as the teenager finished lifting the last of the wood into the bed of his crimson truck. With Ty and Achido working together to build a Dojo together, it was up to him to gather the last of the materials needed to get things underway. This was going to be a long and hard task, but the teenager was up for it and knew that Ty was very excited to get things started as well.
As he got into the truck, placed the seat belt over his shoulder and clicked it in, Achido started the engine and smiled. The easy part was done, it was now up to the two of them to build and decorate the entire building. Achido had a few ideas for the decorations, but they would also need to supply the building with the essential items to make it a dojo. Mats, protective gear, heavy bags, speed bags, you name it. There was still so much that needed to be done and Achido was beginning to feel excited, something the teenager hadn't felt in years. Yes, he would still have to attend high school, but the Dojo would be his main focus, as it would end up being a decent career.
When Achido pulled into the empty lot, where Ty was supposed to meet him, the woman was nowhere to be found for the time being. The teenager shrugged it off and exited the vehicle, then began to slowly pull the bundles of wood out from the back of the bed and place then down in rows along the grass. "Hopefully she shows up, there is so much that needs done, and I have no idea where to begin!" He said to himself, as he looked down at the wood, then began to continue stacking them into the grass.
As Achido looked across the large area, there was everything they needed to begin their dream. The teenager placed his hands upon his hips, then began to think of where to begin. "Well, it looks like we need to start with a base and work our way up." He muttered, as he grabbed the straps holding the wood together, then ripped it apart, causing the wood to fly across the ground, almost busting him in the face. The tools needed for the job, were neatly placed along a bench set aside so the two would have a good amount of room to work with.

Ty finally appeared, walking quite slowly towards Achido, her black sweatpants were singed, cut up in several places, and her bright orange hair had missing locks; including part of the bangs that framed her jawline at some point. It looked like she was in a fight recently and she did not seem happy about it. Typically her hair was held by a turquoise colored ribbon but she relied on a pair of goggles to keep the strands away from her face. “Sorry I am late, I had to buy new clothes since my favorite sweater and shirt were ruined… on my way over.” She sighed, her wounds were only slightly visible as deep welts between the holes of her black skin tight sweatpants, which were healing quickly due to her saiyan blood. “I was roughed up by Android, those beings are no joke, and even harder to hit I tell you!” Looking around she noticed all the plywood, she never built anything before, and she was hoping her new best friend, also known as her sparring partner, had an idea of what to do next. “So… do we need to dig the ground first to level it or something?”

Just as Achido tightened up his belt so his gi would keep from falling down to his ankles, Ty was walking toward him and didn't seem like she was in a good mood. Once she made it to him and explained her situation, the teenager was a bit shocked to what he had heard. "Android? What is that? Are you okay?" The questions just kept coming, but Achido was confused and hoped that Ty was okay from whatever had attacked her.
Even with so much work to be done, Achido put his full attention on his injured friend and worried that she wasn't okay. He stepped forward and smirked a bit. "Hey, it could have been much worse." He said to her, as he brushed the dirt from Ty's shoulder. It was nice to have a friend to look up to, but it hurt deeply to see them shattered from a recent failure. Achido felt that it would be his duty to cheer her up and make sure she kept her mind off of the spar with Luther.
When she mentioned digging out a base so that the ground was level, the blonde teen gave her a slight nod. "That means we should start digging the foundation, right?" He paused for a moment, thinking of what he had just said, then quickly corrected himself. "I mean, I will start digging the foundation. You should relax a bit. Do you need a drink? Food?" He continued, hoping that something would make the woman feel better.

“I am not sure what Androids are but they sure are convincing humans until you punch one so hard they barely take any damage. I was really going all out but I barely got enough hits in and he burned so much ki trying to blast me that I had to give up… ” Ty stammered the last bit seemingly frustrated that she lost but was rather motivated to train harder so she could get Luther back. Best to always be prepared than to risk losing again, there was a fire in her eyes as she continued her thought process, and was brought back to reality when Achido dusted her jacket. Dust in the wind.
“Right before Luther got me with the last blow, there was a moment where I felt so focused, like tunnel vision, and while it was an amazing feeling, I also felt so tired!” She was describing her innate zenkai ability which was difficult to explain to someone who was not a saiyan.
“I was in worse shape before getting here but I am alright! I promise. Feeling pumped enough to dig the dirt and get all my frustrations out through physical activity! I have water and I made sandwiches for later as a reward for all our good work...” After jumping towards the empty lot she started punching the ground, creating large cracks on the ground, she was stronger compared to their first meeting, and then she sat back on the ground as she felt she might have pulled something. To distract herself from the pain she looked up and carried on her conversation. “What kind of sandwiches do you like? I like plenty of mayo, a drop of mustard, turkey deli meat, and something green usually red lettuce or rainbow chard. Chips or pickles are a great compliment.”
After wincing a few times, she took off her jacket, she had burns all over her arms, with her forearms being bright red from a first degree burn; she was involved in quite a formidable fight and she had more wounds in other places that were bandaged up; the worst being the small of her back. “When we are done building we should have a mini fridge, no wait, a huge fridge stocked with all the sandwiches. Breakfast. Lunch. Dinner. Done. Eat. Train. Sleep. Repeat. That is my motto.”

Achido listened to every word Ty was saying about her encounter with Luther, but it seemed that she was rather upset about losing. I mean, everyone has a little pride and when that gets shattered, it will change the tide of a fight in an instant. Achido knew this first hand, but he didn't want to reveal his past to anyone yet. It wasn't a bad upbringing, but the kid had dreams and instead of chasing those dreams, he listened to what his father thought was best for him and continued to train and use Martial Arts.
"This Luther guy must have really messed you up. I think it will be best that we keep training together, Ty. I don't like seeing you hurt and I won't allow it to happen again." He replied to the woman. Before he knew it, Ty was punching down at the ground, beginning to level out the land so they could start building the dojo like that had planned. It would take some time to get the job done, but with Ty by his side to help the building process would go much quicker.
Just before Achido could get down and help her out, Ty turned and began to talk about sandwiches and what her favorite kind was. As she explained, the stomach of Achido began to rumble from the hunger he felt. "Hm, my favorite kind of sandwich. My mother used to make me grilled cheese sandwiches with Tomato soup. A comfort food that I will always enjoy." He replied kindly, before stepping forward to where the shovel was laying beside the bench, then beginning to dig up a base for their new dojo.
"Ty...Have you ever thought about the future? Like, what is out there? You mentioned that Luther was a Android..what the heck is that? What else is out there?" He said to the female, as he stopped digging and looked in her direction. This was something that Achido had thought about a lot as their conversation continued. The kid had no idea who Ty was really, but it felt that he knew her his entire life, like she was someone that he could trust with his own life.

“I am going to punch that guy the next time I see him. I am going to train even harder until that happens!” Ty did a first pump into the air and then fell back on the ground, it was overcast today, and so it was perfect weather for their construction project. Staring at the truck with all the equipment, she realized Achido knew how to drive, and that was one of the things she wanted to learn but it was the least of her priorities at the moment. “I like grilled cheese and tomato soup when it rains. I strongly believe there is a perfect time and a place for everything.” She grinned at him as he grabbed a shovel seemingly apprehensive about a couple of things.
“Oh right, you will learn about the different races on earth in biology class. Androids are mechanical beings but I never read much about them in my studies. What I do know is with our current level of physics and science we are nowhere near space travel. I know this might sound strange but there are other planets with people who came to earth over four hundred years ago. I recently read a comic book about the strange and usual so you may not believe me when I say this but… ”
Ty sat up and stood by Achido so she can meet his eyes, despite standing taller than him, she took a deep breath and put her hands on her hips with the utmost conviction. “I am only half human. When I first arrived at South City I met a Saiyan who had the same energy signature as my father and discovered all about this alien race. Yes, alien! Off planet. Shoot for the stars and across the galaxy.” While in her passionate explanation she realized she did not remember the full story, possibly a result of her recent concussion after getting beat up by Luther, “Um … well the history books have nothing about Saiyans and Tuffles who used advanced technology to experiment on the Saiyans they captured. My father, Koba, is a survivor of these mad science experiments and kept it secret this whole time during my whole childhood… Ah!”
There was folly in her story as far as how much she was telling Achido but that was because she trusted him with this knowledge. Ty rushed at him and grabbed his Gi by the collar firmly. “You have to keep this secret. Our lives depend on it. You know how to do that, right?” She was intense as there was more to her story if he promised to keep this knowledge to himself.

The teenager continued to dig into the soft ground, piling up a mound of dirt and listening to every word that Ty was saying to him. The two seemed to be working well together and Achido couldn't have been happier with how things were going. They were building a dojo together, something the kid had always wanted to do ever since he had listened to his father's advice. The fact that Ty was not a human caused Achido to stop digging and look in her direction. As she explained everything to him, he wasn't sure what to believe. It all seemed so unreal that there were many other types of beings in the universe, then again, it would all make perfect sense in the end.
"A saiyan and human hybrid? Hey, that is pretty cool. Kind of scary to think of everything that could potentially threaten us or our world, but if we continue to work together and train hard, we will be able to protect this world from any type of harm that it should face." He said to her with a slight smile forming upon his face. Achido wiped the sweat away from his forehead, then placed his hands on his hips and took a short breather from the hard work that was to come. "So, you like comics too? I've always wanted to become a vigilante, so that is the kind of comics I get in to." He added, before grabbing the shovel and going back to work.
Ty seemed to have some history with her background, one with a few special people and that was enough to keep Achido interested in her. The fact that the two were putting together their Zeni and currently building a dojo from scratch, was enough to tell that the two were serious about their friendship and training. Just as Ty rushed forward and grabbed his collar and threatening him to keep every word she had said a secret, he gulped loudly and nodded to the woman. "Hey, Ty! Calm down, I won't say a word. I don't even know anyone else besides you! Speaking of.." He paused and pushed the shovel down into the dirt so it would stay still and looked back to her. "Do you have any friends? With all my training outside of school, I haven't had the time to really meet anyone besides you. It would be really nice to meet some others to train with." He finished speaking, embarrassed a bit from the fact that he was sharing something with the woman that nobody knew about.

Ty was relieved that Achido believed her, since half of the things she was saying would have sounded strange to a normal human, and she once thought was a normal human since she looked like one. The mention that he did not know anyone since he was focused on his studies, made her relate significantly, she was home schooled, and kept on a tiny island because her father thought it was safer to live this way. In truth, both teenagers were burdened with getting a proper education, and were recently inclined to making their own decisions about their future. The orange haired teen released his collar and reflected for a moment about being so far removed from society only to discover that there is a whole big world out there.
“I would like to think that I generally get along well with all kinds of people, but I wouldn’t call them friends. None of them are like you, Achido. You are like the brother I never had.” Ty smiled proudly to have chosen him as her best friend, she felt inspired by him in many ways, and only wanted them to become the best at fighting together to the bitter end to make a difference in the world.
“Ah...well I have to think about who would be the best person to call to train with. The thought had never crossed my mind whenever I first met them, even though they were much stronger than me.” Ty puffed one side of her cheek and pouted at him, “Just because we got into a fight when we first met, does not mean I spar everyone on the street, you just looked able when I first saw you, and you are the first to comply... and I am hoping the last. I really doubt I will find anyone else to fill your shoes.”

Achido looked down to the fallen shovel, then back to Ty as she released her grip from his collar. He wasn't sure what to say or think at the time, his face grew a tint of red and and turned away for a moment to take in what she had said. "I don't think she understands, but maybe one day." He thought to himself, before turning to face the woman once more. She may have chosen him as her best friend, but Achido cared more than he should and he wasn't sure if that was a good or bad thing. At least for now.
A small smile crept over his face, hiding his true emotions, but the teenager didn't want Ty to worry, so he kept his mouth shut and agreed with her. "I couldn't have asked for a better friend, Ty. You have inspired me to help with this project and I will do my best to make sure we get through this together. As for someone to help us train, who did you have in mind?" He spoke out, then leaned down to pick up the shovel once more, and began to dig away until Ty would respond to his words.
The teenager looked down to see the work that they have completed so far, then pushed the shovel into the soft ground, and continued to level out the ground for their dojo. The scenery was perfect, but the territory they were building in may eventually cross paths with a rival school. This was all stuff that Achido was oblivious to because all he cared about for the time being was helping Ty get this thing built and running properly. With the proper members, the dojo could flourish into something great, and that was something Achido was aiming for.

Ty smiled widely at Achido’s response, blindly happy to the fact that he was in agreement with her, and she wanted him to shine bright like a star surrounded by success. A real winner to the masses but a loser to Tiger Lily’s heart. The teenage girl still had a lot to learn about all the trouble she was causing around the people she met. In reality she had no idea how anyone felt about her on a personal level, she had been so occupied in helping people out all the time, that she suffered from tunnel vision on the task at hand rather than pay any attention to what that entailed. She was an open book nonetheless, some found that annoying, but she was never going to change she was rocket striving to be the best at everything.
“We need a hot tub!” Ty said nonchalantly, anyone would have misinterpreted that notion, and she clarified her reasonings after she picked up a shovel to help dig a level foundation, “I read in a magazine that it helps sore muscles heal faster.”
Once again Achido asked if any of the strong fighters she met would be willing to train with them to speed things along after the dojo was built. After she contemplated a bit longer, she pulled out her capsule Corp cellular phone, and began to write a text message.
The message went off on Achido’s pocket with a vibrating bell sound and she continued to type a different text message.
“There, I sent a text over to someone who might be willing, but he is trying to help his people on top of finding his siblings who were taken by the Tuffles for experiments.” Ty sighed as she started digging the ground again with a bit of strain but she was pushing through anyways. “What is your family like anyway? Do you have siblings? I am an only child so I always wanted a sibling.”

As Ty smiled to his response, Achido was hard at work, sweating away with each shovelful of dirt he placed into a large mound. It was obvious that he was hiding his true feelings for the girl, but he knew that she was perfectly happy with how things were and he didn't want that to change at all. Their friendship meant more to him than some feelings he had, so as long as they were friends Achido would be okay with it. As Ty randomly mentioned that they needed a hot tub, the teenager quit digging for a moment and looked in her direction. When Ty added that it would help heal the sore muscles a lot faster, he gave her a smile. " Hey, that's not a bad idea at all. A nice relaxing spot to heal up from a hard days work." He called out with excitement in his words, then went back to shoveling for the time being. Just a few minutes later, Achido felt his gi vibrating within the special pockets made for several different gadgets, so he reached inside and grabbed his phone. It was a text message from Ty, so he set the shovel down and grinned down at his phone. " Man, she really is something else. Get a grip, you will never have a girl like her!" He thought to himself, before looking back to the screen and typing in a response. " Thank you, Ty. I really appreciate you being here and doing this with me. You're the best. " Just as he sent the text back to Ty, he looked up when she announced that she had texted someone about helping them train. A smile lit up his face, knowing that someone was really going to help them change the world around them. This was enough to inspire the young teenager to do better in life, no matter what the cost Achido wanted to protect the earth and those close to him, especially Ty. Ty looked up and noticed Achido was still staring at his screen while smiling so she sent him a meme to tie him over. After a while there was a moment of silence after she put her c-phone away and continued using the shovel to move around the dirt. She noted that he was easily distracted by day dreaming or simply looking at his phone, either at other things or checking on his friends or family.
“Okay that is enough electronics for today, we have work to do, and you did not hear my question earlier? ...I asked about your family.” Ty paused from digging wondering what kept him and then continued on with a smirk, “We can just chat while we work to pass the time quickly. Also, how deep should we dig up the area? Two feet evenly around the perimeter? I read that the houses in the Westlands are elevated off the ground to prevent moisture. Each support beam is surrounded by at least three feet holes filled with cement. Essentially if it’s done right you can move the entire structure somewhere else.”

Achido was currently stuck staring at his phone, scrolling through his old messages, then the c-phone vibrated once more with Ty's face popping up on the screen. He smiled once more and opened the message to see the adorable Pikachu meme. Ty seemed to be one of a kind and Achido was more than proud to have a friend like her by his side.
The sound of her voice caused him to snap back into reality and stuff the phone back away into his gi. The smile stayed on his face, but he pushed the shovel down into the ground, scooping up a small pile, then tossing it aside onto the mound. "Ah, yes. Family..My mother, she is the typical stay at home mom, while my father works at the gym full time. They seem to get along for the most part, but my father likes to push me to do the things he enjoys, instead of allowing me to enjoy myself for once. I am an only child and have to work for everything I want. Nothing was given to me, I always had to study hard and train harder." He stopped talking for the time being, scooping up the dirt at a much faster rate than before.
Just as he calmed down a bit, Ty mentioned something about how much they should dig, because of a buildup of moisture in the soil of the westlands. It all made sense, so he gave her a nod, before responding to her question. "Well, if that's the case, we will need to keep digging until we both feel comfortable with how it looks. I have a level in the truck that would help us make everything evenly across." He said to the redheaded woman, while looking at how far they have come already.

“Right, and you never wanted a sibling growing up?” Ty mused as she made quite a bit of progress, punching the ground loose allowed the digging to be done easily, and there was a pile forming in the middle. “We should have our dads spar someday...but it will probably end up the same way our spar did, don’t you think? Going on forever.”
“What should we with this dirt pile? You don’t want to get your truck messed up in dirt to dump it somewhere?”
By the end of it Ty dug a bunch of furrows, it looked like mole spiraled in a snake-game pattern, back and forth until it hit the edge then back around. After reaching the three foot marker there was a pile taller than her, in fact she lost sight of Achido when she remained focused on the task.
“Achido? Did I accidentally bury you?” She called out as she started to look around.

As Ty asked the teenager if he ever wanted a sibling, he looked up while digging and shook his head back and forth. "No thank you. I never liked most of the kids around here. My mother and father were pretty strict about everything. I came home from school, did my homework, ate dinner at the table, then went to train with my father. After that, shower and bed. Everyday that was my life until recently." He responded to Ty's question.
When the woman mentioned their father's sparring at some point, he gave a fake laugh while still digging the loose dirt Ty was punching away at. "You'd have to pay for my father to fight anyone outside the dojo. He's weird. But I would imagine it going on forever..." Achido didn't really like talking about his father because of how strict he was with his son becoming a Martial Artist. It was tough doing the things his father liked, while he hated every second of it.
With Achido day dreaming as usual, he was quickly buried from the furrows Ty was creating. Within a few seconds of trying to get free from the pile of dirt, the teen pushed up from the ground just enough, so that his head was sticking out from the top. He had a blank expression on his face, as he stared down the beautiful redhead before him. "Really? Couldn't have warned me?" He called out, while pulling himself up and out of the dirt pile.
"Hey, Ty. When we were fighting, I felt something different. You kept mentioning Ki. What is that?" He asked the woman, as he brushed the dirt off his red gi. Achido enjoyed how ditzy and playful Ty was, but there was a more serious side that he had noticed during their spar. Either way, the teenager was curious to what he had felt and gone through during their time fighting.
