A lot had happened in just a few days, and Bryce hadn't even begun to think about his past. Though he wasn't even sure at this point if he wanted to know it. The only thing he knew was that he needed to be stronger for One and Ten both, and while getting stronger to eventually take them on was something he wasn't exactly trained for it did provide him the motivation he needed to search out other people. Both people like him and people.. like him. There were nine others he would have to look out for, and as diverse as people came he was sure of one simple thing. Staring blankly into nothing was his new way of overthinking things, and even if it did provide him with getting weird looks while doing so in a densely populated area, in the more quiet areas it provided him with the much needed silence he needed. Besides, there was nothing else to do but to just stare ahead and process what needed to be processed. And it provided him with the time needed to figure out all the nifty things that the red ribbon had installed in him, even if he couldn't use all of them yet to their full potential. Bryce was still able to use one of them though, the sensor in his eye. And right now it was busy scouting the desert around the mandroid for energy signatures worth noting. On most days there would be bandits popping up on it, giving Bryce a good and hearty laugh when comparing their signatures to ones he had seen in the past. On good days, there would be powers to stand out from their surroundings. Today, for better or worse, was not ‘most days’. There were no bandits to be found by Bryce’s sensors- hell, there wasn’t even an obvious power signature in the immediate area that stood out to him. That was not due to an actual absence of such things, but rather because of the presence of Savina. Being almost entirely mechanical herself, her power signatures were difficult to detect and her power output was relatively low until actually necessary; further, bandits that had previously occupied this particular region of the desert had been dealt with by her a few days prior. The Saiyan-Android had spent a considerable amount of time practicing her hunting skills by rooting out the various bandits and thieves that made that part of the desert home, flushing them out with overwhelmiing force- resulting in their prompt departures. She had been practicing holding back against them and had kept herself from killing the majority of her opponents, though some simply refused to give up until they were knocking on death’s door. Savina did not kill even those outright, instead leaving them in the hands of less brave bandits to take to medical aide, though she was not entirely convinced that some of them would not bleed out on their way across the desert. Criminal or not, loss of life was unfortunate and she did not celebrate the prospects of those few men and women possibly dying. At that very moment, however, she had hidden herself in the shadows of a small rock formation and had opted to take a nap. That rock formation was precisely the one that Bryce had perched himself upon in his search for people to test himself against. When the girl awoke, her power systems would likely register on Bryce’s sensors at least momentarily-- at the very least, his presence did show up faintly on her own scanners. Savina pulled herself out of her shadowy bed and bounded up to the top of the rocky formation, finally landing some small handful of meters away from her fellow android. The female leaned forward, curious by his presence. “ Didn’t see you around before I went to sleep! If my systems are correct in their assumptions, though… you’re just like me!” she exclaimed happily, extending a mechanical hand to demonstrate her artificial nature, “ I’m the same! All metal, ‘cept for my brain and nerves! But… the tech that comprises us is definitely different. I wonder who’s is stronger? Can we find out?!” Savina adopted a loose combat-ready stance, prepared to either engage in a little practice bout with this fellow android- or to return to a normal stand if he declined. Just like me.Those words were something he hadn't heard yet, and as soon as the girl who was speaking to him confirmed that she was indeed like Bryce he felt a smile emerging. Even more so when she then mentioned wanting to test their skills. And then even more when she took on a stance not at all unlike that of someone practicing martial arts. Though, if that meant she was like that other girl he had sparred who claimed to be into martial arts then he would be facing a heap of hot air. All words and therefore predictable actions. And it already seemed so as this girl did a whole lot of talking already, going on about what she had in her body, and how their systems were different. It was actually kind of funny that she was able to discern that from just a glance, it made Bryce wonder if her scanning was somehow better than his own. But there was one part that irked him, and it seemed to be a theme going around because the other girl before this one ignored to give out her name as well. Being told the story of life was fun, but not when the person in front of you was unnamed. And Bryce was not the type to give out his name without hearing the other first, especially since he wasn't the first to speak. It was almost as if that first spar never really ended.. When the girl took on a fighting stance though and waited for Bryce to reply he did so by taking on an offensive stance of his own, his mind anything but still right now as he went over countless scenarios, techniques he had seen before and how to counter them. ============ WC: 299 Defensive Phase Bryce is hit 0 time(s) for 0 damage!

The girl’s lips curled up into a wide grin when she saw Bryce’s response come by way of a stance of his own. He didn’t even vocally acknowledge her existence, just took up a stance- that was a first! Unlike the Baron from before, who did like to prattle out warnings, and the chimeric creatures down in her home, this man knew how to conduct himself! “ Oh- my manners! I’m Savina, a Saiyan! Or… cyborg would be the correct word, I guess-- but my brain is Saiyan! Pleasure to meet you!” she responded aloud to his lack of vocalization. Bryce might have the good sense not to bog down a fight with words, but Savina was still a bit too young- and a bit too excited to fully hold herself back. She hoped that, at the very least, he would prove to be stronger than her in regards to skill rather than outright possessing superior mechanical parts. If that were the case, she could probably learn a lot more from this encounter! “ Here I go!” she called out a warning that she was about to begin the spar in earnest, then dashed forward with remarkable speed- enough so that her energy became briefly visible around her body as a white aura. The fight had started, though not before the girl suddenly seemed to remember that giving out a name before aiming to hit someone was an acceptable thing to do, and so she gave hers out before going in for her first two attempts at an attack. Savina was her name, and apparantly this Savina was more adept than the girl Bryce had enctountered earlier, because even though she mentioned she was going to attack, which should make it easy for the mandroid to react, he found it leagues harder than anything before to predict. It was odd, how she dictated her move like that yet still caught Vandross by surprise. And what more, she used the energy Bryce had seen before being used by that girl he fought a while ago, but Savina was able to do so not only around her body, but around her hands. In the forms of weapons no less! Being a bit too occupied to respond to her giving her name as he just barely sidestepped one blade, only to get mauled by the other, he suddenly found himself happy he was not wearing a shirt. Skin healed, as the singed marks on his chest were healing, but clothing would be ruined forever. Bryce stumbled back a bit, a hand over his chest as he looked a bit bewildered almost. This sensation was new for him, yet it took only a second to bring out a smile in the mandroid. Finally someone worth fighting. ''I am Bryce. Nice to meet you Savina.'' He didn't know anything about this saiyan other than the fight they existed, but he didn't make too much of it. Yet. It could very well be the thing he could blame if he lost. Which right now seemed a possibility. His hand dropped to his side as he rushed forward, though noting the speed this Savina did. Maybe that was something she outshined him in, or maybe this was a freak accident. Savina was equally surprised by the speed at which her opponent reacted. Despite still being hit by one of her blades, he maintained enough composure to introduce himself in turn- and to retaliate! Truly, this was an exciting day for Savina- so much so that she found herself too distracted to avoid the first of Bryce’s counterattacks. Her head snapped backward with the force of his palm on her chin. The strength behind that blow was impressive- it might’ve knocked the head of a weaker being clean off! She was not too keen to let him finish his combo, however, and internalized the transferred momentum from his first blow, converting it to energy that was quickly rerouted to her legs; the girl launched herself suddenly up and backward, holding her knees tight to her chest as she spun several times through the air. As soon as she landed, her head snapped up and she grinned once again. “ Wow! You’re really dang strong-- I’m happy to have the chance to fight you, Bryce!” she complimented the mandroid before returning to her readied stance. Once again, she charged forward with incredible speed-- though, this time, metallic blades emerged from within her forearms and ran down the length of her arms, parallel with the point of her elbows. Quite suddenly, Savina disappeared from sight; she had accelerated far faster than previously and used her newfound speed to reposition herself behind Bryce. The girl reappeared as she entered a striking position, though her body was clad then in a wreath of crimson electricity- a byproduct of the energy required to achieve such speeds. Bryce was already having fun, and very nearly replied to Savina when she mentioned how he was strong, and that she was happy to fight him. The fight had barely begun though so there were plenty of ways this could end, but so far, fun was had by both parties. And while the technoman put quite some force behind his punches in spars he would always just treat it as such; a spar, a training fight between two people who just wanted the practice. For Bryce, this was the right way to practice, and the only memory he had on training was about fighting someone in a mock battle. Savina in turn seemed to see it the same as Bryce, considering she was able to retaliate after one hit of him, before dodging the other in quite the show of acrobatics that ended up with Bryce having his back turned to Savina. Like a real martiaal artist she didn't skip a beat and took advantage of this. But the problem here was that she used a technique that Bryce couldn't only sense, but since it was so close he could see and hear it being performed. The speed behind it was insane, but nothing Bryce couldn't handle, it seemed. He was able to dodge to the side, spinning his body around as he did so in order to get himself facing Savina. As he was in the process of beaming her a smile as he then only barely dodged another set of strikes. It came hard and fast, but with Bryce's bodfy being kept in motion he was able to pull himself out of their path. And while doing so, Savina opened herself up to counter attacks, which came in the form of Bryce using the momentum from his spin to raise his leg and hopefully plant his leg firmly into the [hopefully] metal abdomen of his fighting partner. But that wasn't where he stopped. Hit or not, he kept twirling to the side and made one more spin before using that same momentum, jutting his arm out in an attempt to strike the shoulder of the girl with an open palm. ============= WC: 362 Defensive Phase Bryce is hit 0 time(s) for 0 damage!

She momentarily scowled when she felt her attacks fail to land upon their target- though the bitter feeling was one that faded quite quickly. Disappointment from missing was a reasonable enough emotion for her to feel, but it was overwhelmed by the pure, perhaps even sublime, glee that she felt at having been matched against such a potent adversary. Indeed, it seemed to Savina like the two were engaged in some constant dance, some ethereal exchange of forces that could last for quite some time to come. Neither seemed to immediately possess a true edge over the other, nor did their individual superior attributes seem to amount to much. Savina was faster, but Bryce’s instincts allowed him to compensate for the difference in speed fairly easily. Similarly, where his instincts drove him to lash out counterattacks, Savina’s speed of form gave her the necessary velocity to escape major harm. Truly, she was relishing every second of this battle! The girl watched her opponent spin toward her, lashing his leg out like some kind of edge to a particularly lethal top- but she was known to use variations of that technique herself and consequently was able to predict the arc of his leg. She jumped up and planted her hands down atop his knee, using the man’s own momentum to propel her upward into the air; similarly, she landed a foot on Bryce’s wrist when he thrust toward her shoulder and sprung further upward off of it. To demonstrate her own similar techniques and further, playfully punctuate the likeness between their styles, Savina twisted her movement in the air above Bryce’s head. She rotated several times quickly as she descended, then snapped out her own leg and coated it in a searing aura of energy; the girl’s heel arced downward, intending on smashing into her opponent’s shoulder with a potent axe-heel drop. Bryce was.. more than enjoying this. He was cherishing every moment of it even if his hits failed to connect. There was a certain feeling of sadness, sure, but this was missing not because his opponent got lucky, no, this was pure skill! And Bryce, well Bryce had to respond in style! Now, how Savina managed to dodge his attacks was amazing to say the least, and not at all anger inducing as Bryce could do nothing but watch her use his body as a means to get height over him, which meant there was a lot of speed and strength involved, yet Bryce did not feel all that much of her hand on his knee, nor her foot on his wrost. The only confirmation he got of that happening was the fact he saw it happen. And that gave him a general idea of what was coming next, and in a split second he would be proven right. There was a surge of energy he could feel, and as he instinctively crossed his arms in front of his chest he was able to block the downward kick, jutting out his arms to drive the attack back as he let himself drop to the ground, effectively dodging the follow up thrust she had, which held quite some energy too. Being hit by any of her attacks was not advisable, and dodging them wasn't fun either. But it was exciting! As Bryce jumped up from the ground by placing his palms slightly behind his head and allowing his lower body to carry the rest of him up to a standing position, he would use that momentum of getting up to lean over forward a bit too much, using his entire body as a huge weight, before turning his upper torso to the side in an attempt to hopefully bash his shoulder into hers. =========== WC: 312 Defensive Phase Bryce is hit 0 time(s) for 0 damage!

Dodging was something she could have anticipated- but beyond that, Savina expected her opponent to wait for her to fully land before initiating his counterattack. Instead, he pushed himself into the air and moved to intercept her with what she could only describe as a particularly powerful tackle. Not wanting to be sent flying by the force of the impact, the female android quickly commanded her energy to surge out from her body and form a protective shield around her arms. She quickly brought both arms to up to intercept Bryce’s tackle. Savina wasn’t able to completely mitigate the force from his shoulder strike, but that worked to her benefit anyways-- she had angled the curve of her shield so that her opponent’s force would cause him to slide off her energy shield and to the side; that bought her enough time to land back fully back on the ground, whereupon she swiveled to face Bryce. “ Amazing! You’re really good-- I’ll have to try an’ step it up a notch!” the girl called out her appreciation for her opponent as she again returned to her readied stance. Once again, a pair of blades erupted from the outer edge of Savina’s forearms, and again did a scarlet lightning begin to arc off of her otherwise stationary figure. She exploded into motion, rocketing toward Bryce with blinding speed. Her blades lashed at his chest and stomach before she began to pivot around him, throwing violent slashes from every direction- front, side, back, side, and front again. This was fun! Bryce had landed his hit, sure, but it didn't do enough damage for the gynoid to stop, instead there was an exclamation of having to try even harder, which was.. a mixed bag. On one hand the mandroid welcomed the apparent challenge since it was a fun one, but on the other, this was a bad turn of events. This could mean two things, either she hadn't been giving her all from the start or she began to see it more like a real fight than a sparring session. And with the latter option, although it could prove to be a bad decision for Bryce, he couldn't blame her. No one liked losing. And as such, Bryce would respond in turn by fortifying his position on the ground, even when faced with a battle-ready gynoid with blades aimed right at him. Now he didn't know if those hitting would be fatal or not, but he wasn't about to figure out. With a smile he watched her rush closer and begin her calculated attack, but as she did so Bryce seemed to move in a way he didn't even know he could. He kept close, and he could feel the edge of the blade grazing his skin as he dodged, while trying to convey the illusion of a hit. And when Savina was done with her combination, it seemed like everything had hit but there was no visible cut on Bryce, and no sign of internal harm either. He gave her a smirk before dropping back into his fighting stance once more, allowing his body to jut up and down in place for a bit before rushing forward as best he could, employing a bold technique that he liked to call 'the foot that was hard to miss' as he bounced closer, using his final jump to unleash a flying roundhouse kick aimed at Savina's neck. ============ WC: 318 Defensive Phase Bryce is hit 0 time(s) for 0 damage!

Savina was pleased to see each of her strikes land exactly as she had intended to- or so they had seemed until she had put enough distance between the two combatants to realize that she had not actually accomplished anything at all. It took only a moment for her to realize what had happened, to understand the masterful ploy that Bryce had enacted. The girl was almost dumbfounded by his precision, impressed that he had read her movements so precisely as to deceive her into thinking that she had been successful- to deceive her into lowering her defenses. While her mind whirled with immediate recollections, attempting to recall his motions to better understand how she had been bamboozled, her opponent retaliated. To an outsider, their struggle would probably look almost comical: the two androids were essentially jousting with each other. They would start some distance apart, then close to skirmish briefly before breaking apart and reassessing their position within the battle. It might have been silly to conceive, or even a touch boring to watch, but the truth of the matter was anything but. This was as much a communication between two computers as it was a spar- each time their positions collided, they exchanged data and learned. At the rate they were going, it was entirely possible that the two androids could find themselves stuck in a near eternal feedback loop of learning. Counters upon counters upon counters, each answering some new innovation intended to defeat the previous motion. Bamboozling, indeed! When Bryce unleashed his flying roundhouse, Savina did her best to emulate his previous maneuver; she waited until the precise moment that she could feel the pressure of his leg against her neck before pushing herself away on her own, giving the exchange the same perception that she had been truthfully struck. She played her part as honestly as she could, spiraling away with feigned force- but used the motion’s distraction to give herself enough time to produce an additional surge of power. It was no surprise that Savina would be able to dodge his attack, but that she would use the same defense as Bryce was baffling to be sure. It brought a smile to his face, really, having an opponent who could mimick movement so graceously and shortly after seeing it. The mark of a real fight. And while this whole ordeal could be seen as two computers seeing who was the best at math to someone on the outside it was just about the best fight Bryce had in a while. And he intended to show her that by giving this his all, dropping the pretense of it being just a spar. While not trying to kill her, he wouldn't hold anything back either. ''Impressive.'' Bryce uttered a single word as he took some time, being slapped back by the fist thrown at him with the momentum from the well acted out supposed hit of his own kick. He knew it was a long shot though, and had been fully prepared to take a hit. He managed to guard the brunt of it, but it still scathed him a bit, and as he fell back with the feeling of that hit he would drop the stance he had held through out this entire spar, showing her that he was one of two things; done with it, or ready to stop playing and keep to rules. And it was the latter, as his next moves would break the limits of what he could do by throwing out more punches than before, each one faster but weaker than the last, and though they might not all hit he made sure it was unlikely for her to either deflect or dodge all of them. It was indeed rather unlikely for Savina to successfully dodge the entirety of her opponent’s barrage of strikes. Fortunately, however, she had reserved enough excess energy within her core to flood her body with power-- specifically, with powerful speed. Her eyes locked on Bryce’s shoulders and focused on perceiving not his motions, but the transfer of energy flowing through his mechanical parts. Keeping it up such an acute observation was difficult to be sure, something that was enabled only thanks to the excess energy allowing Savina’s synapses to read the transfer of data far quicker than usual. That being said, the whole ordeal was not exactly a pleasant one; using her artificial energy to improve the throughput of her organic parts was certainly effective, but it was a bit painful. She could endure the brunt of it for a short period of time, but keeping up the enhancement would wear her down quite quickly- and would even risk more permanent damage. That meant that she had to conclude her surge of power as quickly as possible. Savina’s body moved at almost blinding speeds, slipping away from each of Bryce’s strikes before they had an opportunity to even enter a dangerous range. She weaved through the man’s limbs as deftly as she was quick, bobbing and twisting to render the whole of his barrage fruitless. When his combo had reached its conclusion, she returned to a compacted stance within short range- a boxer’s stance, specifically. Unlikely, but not impossible. When Bryce had thrown his set of punches he knew there was little chance for anyone to dodge, but Savina did just that. Bobbing her way through his attacks like some kind of boxer. Now, Bryce could very well be upset about this, but he was more happy about it than he would like to admit. Through this he was forced to maintain this level, and if he so needed to improve on the spot. Savina took out of him what had been boiling below the surface, it seemed. Uttering a chuckle as his four strikes were dodged, he then took on the same stance the girl before him did, albeit a bit too slow. Now, the speed she used to dodge his attacks seemed to have faded just as fast as it appeared, but that did not mean his defense was top notch, even more so after having thrown a sequence he was sure to delay a counter for a bit. Looking at Savina as she then threw her own set of punches, Bryce chuckled once more, which was not all that out of character for him. His arms were thrown into the air as he deftly deflected both strikes thrown by Savina, though the stinging sensation of her fists grazing his skin was still apparent. But it wasn't enough to keep the mandroid from a counter attack. He set down one foot in front of the other and stretched out both his fists simultaneously as he brought them down to his sides, resulting in a push with two hands, and an attempt to knock Savina off balance. ============ WC: 273 Defensive Phase Bryce is hit 1 time(s) for 11 damage! 11 - 5 DR = 6 damage!

Enhanced Sense ∞ You gain +5 Defense versus all unresolved attacks targeting you this turn; additionally, you gain +5 Accuracy with all attacks used this turn. Whenever you use Sense, you gain 1 DR and +1 Damage with all attacks on that turn. This increases by +1 DR and +1 Damage for every 3 turns you’ve taken in the current battle. [7/9]
Countermeasures [0/1] -15 ki You gain 2 stacks of "Countermeasure". Stacks of "Countermeasure" may be used as a Reactive At-Will action to reduce Reactive Standard Actions you use to Reactive Bonus Actions, and Reactive Bonus Actions to Reactive At-Will Actions. Each stack used applies to only one Action and must target an action used in the same turn you used that stack of "Countermeasure".
Feint [2/2] -15 ki You avoid 1 attack targeting you on this turn; this does not work against Critical Hits.
