The southern island sea reached out towards the edge of the world as far as the eye could see, the sun was still high in the sky providing perfect weather, waves clashed against the narrowing sandy beach forced by the polar forces of the planet’s gravity and the orbiting moon behind large hovering cumulus congestus clouds. This part of the coast was devoid of people due to the rocky shore under the islands cliff edge. The sand was entirely drenched forming uneven terrain as the waves often reached the cliff walls to prevent any activity from the tourists such as a picnic. It was quite a serene view for the most part, it was relaxing as nature took its course, and seagulls sang on top of rocks hunting for fish. The cliff side wall had dozens of nests with a large metal rusty sign that read: Warning Do not Climb or Disturb Nesting Sea Birds -Beach City Police
Melody was knee deep in sloshy sand, her navy blue swim suit was getting wet, and if she was standing on anything beneath the wet sand it was most likely dead coral reef bed that solidified into rock. With her white rimmed sunglasses on and terry cloth hoodie covering her green hair she was still getting sprayed by the salty sea water in continuous waves. She stood at five feet ten inches and was struggling as she trudged through pulling a large surfboard behind her, not even sized to go surfing compared with her stature, but rather paddle boarding. It was already more trouble than it was worth, the rental for twenty four hours was 50 zeni, and to put that into her own personal perspective it was enough to buy barbecue dinner course.
There was a large flat boulder at the end of her journey across the sand that she leaped up to, at that point she realized she could have just jumped across to get there, but she was trying things that she was not familiar with being deep from the mainland. On top of the rock, she set down the large surfboard on the rock, and loosened the paddle tied next to the sheath of her sword by wriggling it free. The paddle it self was almost as long as she was in height and as she reflected on how to use it. She stood there for a long minute, wearing skin tight individual toe wet shoes, and she wiggled each toe on the board in rhythm which each foot. Zipping up her hoodie with a free hand she bent her knees, held the top end of the paddle grip, and the middle of the pole into motion which was a bit awkward at first but then figured out the movement that required to move the board.
The wave she was waiting for came, it touched the cliffside, and as it receded back into the large body of water the surfboard was carried back with it. Melody balanced on her core, allowing the water to take her further into the depths, and used the paddle to maneuver about towards more calmer waters. Further into the ocean, the water was so clear below, it looked like she was over a frozen lake from her recollection of Tundra Village in the Western lands, and she could see the coral reef in varying colors just beyond the sea life that was swimming about. The beauty of underwater sea life in nature was worth the 50 zeni after all but she wondered about having the board for twenty four hours if it was only visible from six in the morning to around three in the afternoon; the setting sun would eventually make it impossible to see below. After further deliberation she found the exercise rather fun, she could feel her arms muscles and core being used against the movements of the ocean.
After an hour of paddling, Melody’s surfboard hit a pile of seaweed larger than the board it was the size of a yacht, and she was immediately caught in it. The seaweed was littered with garbage, on top of it smelling purely disgusting, there were so many bent cans, vehicle oil canisters, plastic rings beer can rings with a few empty ones still attached, bright green torn fishing nets, hooks, even broken fishing poles. Several Dead Sea animals were caught in parts of the mass that were decaying under the sun to add to the stench.
A giant living squid was caught in the littered mess, the head of it wedged under the seaweed, and it’s long extended tentacles grabbed on to the surfboard attempting to free itself but it was getting impaled by a broken fishing rod and sprayed black ink into the water as a reaction. The right thing for the Duchess to do was to unsheathe her sword and hack at the fishing pole, nets, and seaweed to free the wild animal from ending up like the rest of the sea life that were not as lucky.

Not too far from where Melody is relaxing from the beach, people enjoying a leisurely party cruise. Dancing, swimming in the pool, eating as much as they want. However, they don't want to bother to go to the garbage cans over to the other side of the boat, and they decide just to throw it overboard cause someone will clean it up anyway. Their refuse sinking into the depths below, falling onto two lumps in the water. Two glowing eyes are open from the lumps as they gaze upward towards the ancient surface as they ascend to the surface. Will was continuing his search for the mysterious giant shark, it's been a while but then he noticed that things were getting dark. Stars were already in the sky and so was the moon, but he hasn't been flying on his nimbus for that long. In fact, as he looks back to where he came from, parts of the sky are still sunny with some scattered clouds here and there. This can't be natural, something is wrong here. It was then that thunderous sounds come from the oceans below as large black silhouettes with piercing glowing eyes come out of the water, as a dense mist began to surround the area. The tides raging as these ancient beings awakened from their long slumber from the bottom of the sea. Those are definitely not sharks, and he has only heard of such beings in legends, but he never expected them to be real. The people on the cruise were screaming as the giants begin to edge closer to their ship. The sounds of panic got his attention as he noticed the vessel near the creatures. Will flew to the creature and stopped in front of them. The two creatures then began to stare at the small strange creature. "Hey, could you perhaps take a walk somewhere else or perhaps in a different direction? You are about to walk straight into that ship, there are people on board," Will asked. The two creatures then spoke to Will in strange gurgling noises. "Um, I sorry I cannot quite understand you do you guys happen to know sign language?" Will asks. A large pitch-black arm comes out of the sea as it gestures it to tell Will to shoo as they continue walking. Will sighed as he couldn't reason with them. "Unfortunately it seems we may have to do this the hard way," Will said.

The beach. The end of a workday was always an opportunity to relax. While almost always neglected for favor of more productive things to do, Bass decided to give himself a cheat day. Just the once, giving himself the excuse that it's good for the body to have time to rest before resuming training. Stopping off at his apartment to take a shower, he greeted Icey who was sitting on a computer chair in her room watching some TV. Going into his own room he'd pull a change of casual clothing from his closet. On his way to the bathroom he yoinked a towel from the communal closet so to speak before heading into the room the clean up.
Forty minutes later and Bass found himself waving goodbye to his new roommate. Wearing a casual red t-shirt that had Capsule Corp branding on it, a straw hat that covered the entirety of his head save for two little holes for his antennae to peak through and some yellow shorts. He looked like a fairly extravagant farmer if one were try to put their finger on it. At least that was Bass's interpretation of what another person might think, not objective fact. Taking his bike, weaving through the various streets and straddling lanes to cut through traffic he made his way to the beach and came to a parking position. That was immediately when he squinted, looking out into the open water passed the white sand that was frequently washed over by the Ocean waves. He felt at least two power signatures far into the distance, as well as a fainter one amidst them. Though as he intentionally tried to focus on sensing energies he also happened to detect a fairly familiar power level close by. Squinting as his attention turned downwards to the waves he'd notice the familiar figure of Melody. It was a good thing those Power Levels weren't approaching, he didn't want anyone to be in danger, especially not a fighter like Melody.
Thanking himself for being in casual clothing the Namekian decided to just take off. Lifting from the ground as soon as he got to the edge of the water he'd fly over towards Melody and quickly speak up to get her attention and then point out the problem if she hadn't already noticed it for herself. "Hey, long time no see. Felt several power signatures deeper inward, think it could be our shark- or sharks? I'm going to go check it out, feel free to follow." And suddenly with that the Namekian shot upwards in the air before flying off deeper into the waters. It wouldn't take him any time at all to come across a strange weather phenomena. Perhaps it could be explained by some inherent subconscious power from the creatures, as often seen during his travels. While most power was earned and represented as Power Level, different species had different tricks; his own being no exception. Perhaps being native to the sea for their entire existence forced them to draw the color out of light. A strange an uncanny explanation, but then again nothing about these creatures seemed normal, pulling the color from anything that didn't seem living, as if it couldn't draw from those that weren't willing. A monochrome microverse, a shard into another perspective from creatures so powerful that their perception doubled over into actual reality.
Nonetheless the Namekian getting closer and closer simply stopped and hovered in the air when he noticed some kind of cat on a puff of... Cloud? He raised a brow but thought it better not to question what the creature was doing but instead get insight to the situation. "Hey, you. What's going on here?" He'd ask, seeming to not be expressing a lot of worry, yet it was undeniable that the appearance of these particular figures could be unnerving. Bass acknowledged this and while tempted to cave to that nervousness he overruled his impulses. Instead he just watched them while he had the opportunity to, carefully eyeing their movements and behaviors to keep a close bead on anything they did. Immediately his assumptions of potential sharks was ruled out, this was something entirely different.
Closing his eyes he simply focused on the situation and honed onto all of the different energy signatures in the local area. Of course it was a breeze to spot the two anomalous entities in the water, shortly after the Cat on what he didn't know was the Flying Nimbus, he didn't know what sort of trick that was as far as he was concerned currently. Then he sensed a nearby boat- not the boat itself but rather the many people on it appearing like tiny specks in the way that he sensed different tiers of power. Taking in a deep breath he came back to reality and started to fly around in a circle.
"If these things are dangerous, we'll probably have a fight on our hands. If you want to try your hands at talking you're welcomed too. Though I don't see a mouth to even talk." Shrugging, he'd play this one play by play style.

“Bass-kun?”
By the time Bass flew overhead to speak to her, Melody finished cutting through the seaweed with the sword in hand against the litter to free the large squid that was caught in the mess. In a single sweep she brushed her finger tips from her free hand over her cheek to pull her sunglasses up on top of her head and hoodie in one swift movement. For a fleeting moment she saw Bass in something other than a suit for a change which made her smile and took the time to reflect on the mention of sharks which she had not seen. Her violet eyes followed the namekian fly behind what looked like a moving tiny cloud towards a void of night sky, distorted into an aura under a brilliant daylight blue sky and bright white clouds, surrounding a hub of unusual weather phenomenon that was quite out of this world. The sword in her hand was resheathed into the scabbard tied onto her back in one fluid movement of her wrist.
During her observation she failed to notice a tentacle had coiled around her ankle, as she stood on the surfboard, and was immediately pulled under water in one fluid motion. There was hardly a splash when she was pulled into an embrace by the Giant Squid she had freed from its horrifying prison, to a normal person they would have been crushed to death by the sheer force, but Melody was resilient to its grip eventually slipping away from its slimy coated membrane. With puffed cheeks she managed to catch her breath before being underwater, her eyes watching the squid swim gleefully into the depths under pristine clear sea water before the brine started to irritate her sight. As she resurfaced back on the surfboard, entirely drenched, water droplets poured from her green hair and bounced off her bare legs. With a deep breath she unzipped her hoodie to remove It through her tied scabbard, finding her sunglasses in the hood which she put back on top of her head, and rung the water out of terry cloth fabric by twisting it with both hands. Despite her hair being wet it immediately reformed back to its usual shape defying all physics by drying up again as if genetics had made it water resistant. The hoodie had its short sleeves unraveled to wrap it around her waist sticking to the exposed parts of her bare skin that was separate from her navy blue racer back one piece swimsuit.
A surge of brightly red ki energy was concentrated and formed to the size of a cherry into the Duchess’ right handed palm. She tossed it into the yacht sized seaweed instantly bombing the mass and disintegrated it with pure energy from its central core. The entirety of the trash turned back into invisible naked - to - the - eye matter that was carried by the wind. After a beat, she figured she should get a closer look at the anomaly in the distance. Placing the paddle neatly on top of the surfboard she limbered up for a minute. Melody crouched down to position herself in a push up position until she brought a knee up to her abdomen like a sprinter about to start their race. Just using her muscles she launched herself as far as she could muster a couple of yards of being propelled into the air from the surfboard and before hitting the surface of the ocean she focused a bit of ki on her wet shoe covered feet to remain above the water; additional ki was channeled into her palms to jettison her across the surface as if she were skating over ice to reach the others along with the cruise ship which was a speck from where she was before.
The cruise ship had three tiers apart from the levels below the main deck, it was noisy full of people having a party, and on her way there the water surrounding the ship was covered in litter. The giant squid from before released its ink into the water in retaliation of all the trash as if reliving its past experience. Melody was not about to get tentacled again if she cleaned up this trash, turning towards the problem, with small bursts of ki being channeled through her limbs she ascended the main deck in one fluid movement; feeling a bit jealous that she could not fly like the other fighters hovering over the massive creatures drawing near the boat.
Rushing towards the open stage platform of the main deck she grabbed the DJ by the shirt and skull bashed him on the forehead releasing him on to the floor to render him unconscious. With a tightened fist she punched the record player to a stop and removed the mic from its stand. The dancing crow stopped to react in shock when the music was abruptly cut off and several armed guards tried to push through to reach the stage after Melody.
”Attention all party animals. Please stop littering the ocean, it is trapping the wild sea life and polluting the water. You are all a disgrace to nature!” The mic was dropped echoing into a screech as she began to run across the deck eluding the guards by scaling up towards the upper levels of the ship and causing a commotion on the cruise ship. Melody continued her ascension until she stood on top of an antenna which was the highest point of the ship, perfectly balanced on one foot, with the bottom of her right foot pressed against her left knee to stabilize herself, and held a better view of the two massive dark figures getting closer.

Will then noticed the strangely dressed and colored Namekian before him. While he does seem to be mutated and has some demonic energy emanating from him like the rest of Daimao Piccolo's spawn, Will could feel that he had no ill intentions his words said so too. He also feels very powerful, and such power might be needed against these beasts. "I've tried talking with them, they understand me but they can't really talk but, although I do know what they are. There are legends, many involving different strange creatures and phenomena known as Yokai, these ones are known as Umibozu or Sea Monks. Creatures that live in the water and come out of the water at night to destroy ships or fill it with water to cause them to sink. Which means they are most likely going to that one filled with people over there. You keep one busy, I'll try to send the other one back into the ocean," Will said. He couldn't feel any Ki from these strange spirits or creatures so he didn't know how strong they were since they're so legendary and the fact that it is said meeting one is basically certain death Will might as well try to start it off with his most powerful attack. While on his Flying Nimbus he cups his hands together, filling it with bright blue energy. "Kame...hame...ha!" Will yells out as he releases a large wave of said energy into the back one of the Umibozu's head. As it impacted it created a large explosion and some smoke and it reeled forward a bit. It then stood upright and then scratched the back of its head as if it were a minor inconvenience and continued to walk towards the cruise ship. That was his strongest attack and it barely phased it. There must be some alternative way to take care of them, Will began to sit on his Flying Nimbus and scratch his chin and head to think of a new strategy. Meanwhile on the party vessel as many people are being drunk and merry they heard the sound of a record scratching as they look to see their DJ's head smacked into the table. As the guards stopped in front of the table people murmured as she began to talk. "Hey nowadays cleaning the ocean is easier than ever, I mean yeah a few animals might still die, but at least that means more food for the predators right," one person in the crowd said. "Yeah and why should we listen to some random lady who just broke our record player, are you one of those eco-terrorists I've been hearing about?" said a brash woman. "We were *hic* having a good old grand fine time, and you bitch, you just come out of nowhere and *hic* just try to ruin it for everybody. Besides I think the appreciate some of the scraps we *burp* throw overboard" said a really drunk man. As the rest of the crowd was beginning to complain and yell at her the guards begin to make their move towards Melody to arrest her, but then one of the people turns to look at the two giant figures coming towards them and screams in terror and points towards them. People begin to turn their attention out towards the sea and panic as they see the massive figures slowly coming towards them as they all begin to scream and run in panic. The guards as well even begin to join the crowd as they are not paid enough, nor are equipped enough to deal with whatever those things are. People begin to uncover and get inside the lifeboats frantically and prepare them as alarm rings throughout the ship. Whatever else Melody has to say everyone is now too scared to listen to her in this chaos that ensued.

Listening to Will respond to his questioning, Bass just thought to himself. This and that- the details weren't really all that relevant to the Namekian. All he needed to know was that they were up to no good, in fact it made him feel even less guilty that this wasn't because of the garbage, it was just because they messed with ships. Unfolding his arms Bass started to drift through the sky, gradually getting closer to them. " Sea Monkeys you say? You're telling me hundreds of years ago someone decided their little colony of Sea Monkeys was just too much to keep track of, so they flushed them down the toilet and hundreds of years later here they are grown into full scaled monsters? I don't know whether to consider that fascinating, unsettling that this is from a household experiment or terrified that it has the capacity to exist in the first place. Needless to say if they're not up for negotiations and finding a suitable method to coexist or at least fuel productivity then I'm afraid they don't have a place on this Earth." His eyes narrowed when the Beastman cat figure started to charge some kind of ability. He never particularly felt pulled towards the abilities that took forever to pull off, but his arms came back to their folded position to watch what he could do. Seeing the beam rip through the sky and into the back of the creatures head, Bass figured it would at least do something. An undefended attack from an energy blast would always do something, but in this case the creature despite lurching a little bit from the force of the impact seemed unfazed and certainly uninterested or worried about the attack's source. Looking up to see the two figures approach the boat, Bass started to lower himself his body began to slow it's drift and he closed his eyes. Sensing everything, the world became black save for glowing energy signatures. Seeing the full silhouette of the opponents, he began to muster the ki in his body. During his training one of his most fundamental lessons is that one cannot neglect any element of their body, using every advantage they have. A perfect harmony and synergy between the body - might and raw power and capability, spirit - ki, ki pathways and driving emotions, and mind - tactics and strategy, clever split second decision making and always being one step ahead of the opponent. That was what his technique was about, mastering that. As he drew out the ki from his ki pathways circulating through his body, opening them up like vends an aura began to form around him. A vibrant white aura that by itself didn't look particularly fascinating, but the Namekian's muscles began to grow larger, his t-shirt tightened and he raised a hand to his straw hat to tie the string around his waist. Taking a deep breath and opening his eyes, it was time for his offensive. A split second indicated his movements, quite literally a blink in the sky, a flash of a twinkle before the ocean nearby tore apart from the speed that he shot forward, a bullet zooming over the waters at a pace so fast he created waves- ultimately harmless that travelled out to either side. Closing in on one of the creatures in a split second it barely had time to stop before the Namekian collided with it, an impulse signalling danger from the sheer presence that Bass radiated. The fist that slammed into the head of the creature caused it to faceplant into the water, a massive splash creating another set of waves that would rock the boat in a couple of seconds once they got there, though the Namekian still wasn't done. Additionally during his training a fundamental concept was momentum, the large and showy hits were great and all, but if they weren't followed up into a combo to push your opponent even closer to defeat it wasn't optimal. Quickly his body twisted as a foot clipped the side of the creatures head with such force that it went flying out of the water and into the sky to expose the onyx colored briny flesh. Light didn't even necessarily reflect off of the creature, especially given that there was barely any shining down on them with the darkened skies. Mid-air he began his assault on the creature. Sending a flurry of punches the Sea Monk's body contorted in every which way, impact marks appearing as multiple strikes cumulatively became something formidable against the otherworldly legendary entity. The other had turned to look from the Ocean's surface but realizing it didn't have the easy capacity to intervene with Bass and it's ally at such heights it continued to make its way towards the boat. In the air, Bass continued to pummel the creature before a massive right roundhouse kick made it lurch inwards with its torso bend at a sharp forty five from the force of the strike before blinking behind it, the Namekian dropped an elbow right on that point. The creatures eyes closed and it tumbled towards the water and slammed into it, sending another wave rippling outwards. Though despite being rendered unconscious, it was merely for a moment. Slowly righting itself, it looked far worse for wear and its attention was on the now obvious thread. Watching Bass, perhaps it would launch an attack, perhaps it would maintain a standstill to allow the ally to do what they surfaced for. Regardless of what approach it took, the Namekian stood ready staring from above. Folding his arms again and closing his eyes, his senses opened up and he felt for any rising power signatures to indicate an incoming attack. In his experience opponents power levels often rose just before an attack as their bodies tensed. Letting out a long breath, he steadied his breathing and just waited. Not speaking, he was preparing to handle the creatures assault. He was more curious about what this thing could do on the attack compared to what he could do to it. Speaking a sentence, he encouraged Will to deal with the other creature. "I have this one under control. If you could handle the other, this will be resolved. Run into any trouble and just call." He stated, opening his eyes once more.

The massive creatures were drawing closer, Melody overheard Bass mention Sea Monkeys, and could barely hear what Will said; as the people aboard the cruise ship drowned out his cat-like voice with their loud, inebriated from alcohol and who knows what else, conversations that really started to irritate her. The Duchess gritted her teeth for the lack of empathy the party people had and harboring no regrets for their lavish lifestyle with no regard for life. This was exactly the type of behavior she loathed the most about society, it was corrupt without direction, and there was no changing it without gaining enough power to influence the masses. In a matter of seconds it was clear that the sea monks were posing a danger to the defenseless ship just meters away and the sight of them caused everyone to panic in fear.
The last thing Melody wanted was the ship to capsize and all the garbage of the ship falling into the ocean. Measuring the level of ki Bass and Will utilized in an attempt to push the sea monks with little effect determined that she was nowhere near their power level to assist. A massive tidal wave formed from Bass tripping one of the sea monks with a powerful attack, the people on the ship screamed after witnessing the grandeur assault, and the crowd immediately retreated below deck struggling from getting into the narrow hallways trampling each other in disarray.
Eventually the tidal wave hit the port side, the water rose far enough to wash over a couple of bar height tables with drinks to crash against the bulwark on the other side, and the waves cascaded down rocking the cruise ship. Melody leaped from where she stood before she was knocked over, nose diving below, and dragon dashing as if stepping across the air towards the starboard bow where she recalled seeing the anchor. She scaled down the outside of the ship to grab an iron chain link, it was half her size, at about three hundred millimeters, and with little time to act she powered up enough of her ki to give her the strength it required to pull the anchor from below the depths barehanded.
Melody felt her arm muscles lock, the buoyancy of the ocean aided the momentum needed to pull the chains up, coiling the entire length of it on to the starboard deck, and in the process noticed a gradual change in the weight almost pulling her forward as if something besides the anchor was being brought out to the surface. It was a familiar presence as she finally saw the last chain loop with the anchor and the giant squid she had saved earlier getting pulled up along. The anchor itself was the size of a small boat, with the density of a large tank, that Melody had no trouble lifting setting it on top of the chain pile coiled into a spiral on deck. The ship began to get pushed back from the epicenter of the battle beyond in the series of tidal waves from each impact.
The giant squid was excited to see her again, it made her quiver as she dodged from getting entangled from its tentacles, and dashed out of the way towards the bridge command on the upper deck of the cruise liner. The giant squid was dexterous in keeping up behind her, using its tentacles to spring forward, and eventually stick its suction cups to the glass windows surrounding the room. Melody closed the hatch behind her to prevent the creature from getting into the bridge. The crew were huddled up as soon as she stepped in except for the captain who kept his hands on the helm with a glint of putting his life on the line in his eyes.
“You see me?” Melody sneered as she closed the distance between her and the captain grabbing him by the shirt despite him being much taller than her, “I am the captain now, you do as I say and order your entire crew to get on the lifeboats. Once they are on the boats they need to pick up every piece of trash from the ocean and clean up the mess of your passengers. Now!”
It was odious that a cleaning crew was high on the priority list with the present stakes but it was all she could do by fixing one problem at a time; she trusted Bass and the mysterious cat to take care of everything else. There was another door leading deep into the ship apart from the one Melody entered that was from the deck outside if they wanted to avoid getting assaulted by the Giant Squid dancing outside.

It seems this man didn't seem to quite hear everything Will said. In fact, a lot of it wasn't even close to anything he said. The only response Will could give was a neutral expression. The expression soon changed to that of shock when not only the Namekian was shown to be absurdly powerful but was able to damage the creature, quite a lot in fact. It's not like Will wasn't that strong or even stronger thirteen years ago, but he is more so surprised at how someone so young could be that strong, not to mention the fact that he just is shown using the perfect balance of the three components of Ki: Genki, Yuki, and Shoki. He's got a lot of work to get back to his old peak. He then flies around the monster's head trying to think of where to hit it, the creature's skin and body must be incredibly dense. Most likely to allow to be able to live at the bottom of the sea and withstand such pressure which in turn also allows them to be so formiddable. Then Will saw the piercing yellow eyes, while he's usually not one to hit someone in their eyeballs this would be one of those exceptions. He then charges another Kamehameha however this one splits down the middle into a y shaped formation that hits both eyes of the creature causing it to hold its face with its hands and scream in pain. It was a strange alien scream, almost haunting, then Will noticed the wind beginning to pick up. As the two Umibozus roar in pain dark clouds form in the area covering the night sky that they created, rain pelts down, the wind howls like a hundred wolves, and the waves crash and boom as fierce the creatures roar. Then a large flash of light as multiple bolts of lightning is called down from the sky to strike Bass. As Will is blinded by the flash he finds himself smacked away by one of the colossi and is sent flying off of his Nimbus and into the water. Plunging deep below the water's surface he swims back up as he finds himself grabbing onto what seems to be a bunch of trash clumped up together. How revolting, and also not very good for his Gi either. He whistles for his Nimbus to come to him as he fires multiple Ki blasts at the trash vaporizing some of it before heading back to the creature that smacked him away. He may not be able to beat it but now that he has gotten his attention he could distract it long enough for the people to get to safety. He flies around the creature at top speed with the creature swatting at the air as if Will was a fly to it. Furious it clapped it's hands together thinking it got the small furry creature, only for Will to appear right in front of one its eyes and startle it causing it to step back a bit before continuing to try to squash Will like a bug. Meanwhile back on the party cruise, the giant squid is saddened that the savior won't let it embrace them again. He tries to hug the many people running and screaming, but they all run to the door and go to the lower decks as if they already didn't have enough to deal with already with two giant monsters now another was on their ship. The squid makes a sad bloop as no one wants to be its friend. It then noticed the scary storm and then looked to see the two giant men in the ocean. The squid has heard of such sea dwellers but never seen them in person, but it seems that they are causing the people in panic. The squid then realizes that it also means its new friend is in danger as it jumps into the water, and begins to swim towards the Umibozu hoping it would be able to reason with them.

And so they were in the thick of it. Surprisingly given their power signatures they didn't seem all that fast, and he had a hunch specifically as to why. Stories like this tend to speak of omens that destroy vessels and planes alike with forces that can otherwise be interpreted as natural. A key point in fully coming to this realization was the darkened sky. Yet ultimately as he prepared for an attack that didn't come in a way detectable for the eye but rather the minds eye, he sensed danger from above. Immediately the Namekian disappeared from where he was and appeared right behind the Umibozu that he could only imagine called in the artillery; the one that he'd done the most damage too. The bolt in that instant crashed where he had been a fraction of a second ago, sending a static shockwave through the immediate ocean that could potentially electrify anybody actually in the water near the point of impact. The sky lit up from the booming tear the streak of lighting caused, illuminating the darkness in a brief blueish hue with heavy contrasts. The attack also seemed to kick up rain which started to pour from the clouds, drenching just about everyone who'd managed to somehow stay dry given the circumstances. Looming behind the Umibozu who was thinking who knows what, though Bass assumed it was confused that its target had just vanished. Bass believed that it perhaps thought it had vaporized him from the force of the lightning strike? Though the Namekian, hovering behind the head of it spoke up. " For a creature of your size, I find it repulsive that you don't get things done with your own hands." Alerted of his presence the head unnaturally turned, though Bass was already moving like a bullet. An arm swung up to swat him away, bu the Namekian seemed to easily be able to outpace the creature which mostly appeared to be relying on natural power; and a lot of it. The gap was closed in an instant as a blue fist dug firmly into the creatures chin area at an upwards angle to once more tear it out of the water to airspace where Bass would be able to perform another extensive combo. Shouting, he spoke during his assault - a punch slamming into the creatures torso and sending it even further into the sky, aligned above him in case another lightning bolt struck down to try and take him out. " At least you make for a good spar! You can take a lot of hits, I'm impressed!" He said, pressing further and slamming three more fists into the creature. With no mouth to properly vocalize from what he could tell, the sound of shrill noises of what he could only presume was pain urged Bass to press his attack while he had it going. Zooming above it Bass brought his arms to loop under the creatures arms and immediately twisted direction to start shooting towards the water again. Bursting through the clouds and with the rapidly growing surface of the ocean below them, Bass would only release the creature a couple seconds before impact to dash underneath and raise one of the most brutal knee's he'd ever given. Raising a solid hunch of hardened knee straight towards the Umibozu's face, it slammed right down and went slack, slumping off of the Namekian's leg and into the water. While entirely possible that the creature was still going, even under the threat of forces of nature as instantaneous and deadly as lightning he seemed to still have methods to avoid them. He wouldn't be leaving this potential victory to chance though. " I'm going underwater, good luck!" He shouted, bursting into the water and sending a massive cone upwards opposite of his direction of entry. Sinking into the dark black sea, his eyes slowly gazed around the murky tumultuous waters in search of the creature. Though finding an onyx being amidst the black depths was easier said than done. So closing his eyes and sensing once more, he would come to the eerie understanding that a power loomed behind him resembling that of the creatures. Weaker still, but not it had the environmental advantage, being in water and not suspended in the air. Turning towards it Bass would be subject to a slam of epic proportions. From the sheer speed alone Bass went tearing through the sea at a speed which left a rapid whitewater trail like a torpedo sailing through the deep. Slowing to a stop he barely had enough time to recover before he was slammed again from the side- and then again caught before a recovery as an appendage grabbed his ankle and started to tear him downwards. Sinking deeper, deeper and deeper. Bass simply reached up towards the surface as he saw the faint dark light from the surface of the ocean get even darker. Though he needed to push on. Opening his mouth to let out a roar, a struggled flurry of bubbles burst forward from the force and he tensed his entire body. Aligning both hands at his sides with open palms, he'd have to do it this way.
Borehole Cannon.
Bringing one arm to support the other as he began to expend a jet of ki from his lower side to propel him upwards, he gripped his right hand into a fist and tensed the limb so it could sustain the force of the blast. Using his left to keep it steady a large bright red dot formed in the black waters, causing a glow that turned the immediate seas a crimson coloration. Firing the first it slammed into the Umibozu, causing the strength it was using to pull him into the depths to weaken once more. Getting higher and higher towards the surface, he let out another bubble storm as he fired off another as he called it 'Cannon' shot, simply a hyper condensed marble sized amount of compressed ki. The first one that had hit the creature seemed to damage it and little else, but the second one that struck it seemed to disorient it and make it generally more sluggish. Weakly holding onto his leg, Bass ascended further and further until blasting out of the water just as the hand released his foot. Falling black into the murky depths was the creature he'd been fighting. These things were no joke, especially if one gave them the benefit of their native environments. Breathing heavily, Bass looked over to see how the others were doing before letting out brief shout to flare up his power again, causing the white aura around him to intensify back to how it was originally.

After the lightning hit the surface of the water the electric current was immediately discharged in a strange glowing blue ring that dissipated like a ripple on the surface. The umi bozu were being slowed down not beaten by the barrage of attacks from Bass’ cannon blasts and Will’s ki bursts while circling around on his nimbus. The ghostly creatures had been fading over time feinting a false injury, as it seemed they were limited in the distortion of the weather phenomenon that was ejected from a different plane of existence into the sea, and the sky was fading along with their presence.
The Giant Squid caught up to the scene, sticking to the face of the behemoth that released Bass, and resurfaced after him with the sea creature in tow to a complete stop. The rain ceased and the weather calmed. In that moment the squid blinked its large pearlescent eyes sending its life pulse to communicate, while small, it was detectable to everyone with sense that something unexplainable was unfolding. The war against trashing the ocean was over before it even began which resulted in the Umi bozu fading to nothing and returning to where they came from.
The captain of the cruise liner was relieved that he was not going to get beaten up, in fact he started laughing at this mysterious green haired woman who he felt could relate to about trashing the ocean, and in the back of his mind hoped that he was not insulting her with his hideous laughter. As he straightened up, he saluted her, and smiled rather widely.
“Aye aye captain! I am getting pretty tired of getting my hooks caught on cans, trash, and other things. Fishing has not been the same since I was a small lad. If those people out there are friends of yours keeping the ship safe, then we will comply in the effort of cleaning up the mess the passengers have made.” The captain rubbed his white beard as he mused into deep thought while still being held by the collar, “I have heard legends of those creatures, sea monks who have drowned in the ocean and returned as cursed ghosts roaming the seas demanding barrels from ships, simple minded creatures who attempt to scoop out the water to pour into the deck like a child does in a bathtub trying to sink a toy boat. Good thing you unanchored us to ride the waves from battle so anything for you, Madame?”
“Melody, drop the prefix, being from the Western Lands, we only apply suffix.” She released his collar by then almost rolling her eyes after listening to the story. All these childhood stories were starting to bother her as if it were an excuse to act.
“Well, that ended better than expected.” The captain looked over as the sky returned to the brilliant blue horizon, “I wonder who we have to thank for that...”
Before the captain finished his sentence Melody already left running outside to witness it herself, the Giant Squid fell back into the ocean moments after the umi bozu were gone, and everyone else was left hovering having spent a bit of their ki in battle. The cruise ship moved closer to the scene by then right under Bass and Will hovering. A whistle went off on the ship to draw their attention below.
The next few minutes were spent with the passengers still holed up in their rooms until the captain allowed them to resume their activities. The crew did exactly as they were told using smaller boats to clean up the ocean and mop the deck as they had an excuse to actually do something without the paying customers demanding every minute of service.
“These popsicles are great, Bass-kun. You should try one. Bring the cat.”
Melody was eating eating a light blue square popsicle while stretched out laying on a lounge chair with her white brim and black lens sunglasses on. There were a few other empty lounge chairs next to hers, as she sat leaning back comfortably in the middle one positioned by the pool located on the upper deck beyond the main one. A cooler was filled with them that were provided by the crew for everyone to take. The waiter staff were dressed like penguins expecting everyone to join the poolside as thanks for helping out with the bad situation of the umi bozu.
The DJ was scrambling to use a media player connection set up to play music from since the record player had been broken, the welt on his forehead was already purple, as he was sweating making sure he did not get up by the savage woman with green hair who was left waiting for the sound to come from the speakers.

The Umibozu fighting Will saw what happened to its comrade, it slowly walks over to where Bass is to help. It then stops to look down to see trash in sea touching and furiously bats away in a huge wave. Will notices this and begins to understand why they might be attacking the ship. It's just a theory, but if this works they may stop attacking. He then flies around the garbage catching it all in a massive whirlpool which then inverts and rises to the air like a water pillar with the top is a massive ball of trash. He then puts his hands together for one more Kamehameha. "Kame...hame...ha!" he yells out. The Umibozu turns to notice, as the resulting beam vaporizes all of the garbage in one huge explosion. It looks around puzzled to see that all of the garbage is gone, the rain begins to stop. Then as it sees it's friend rise up from the water Will then felt the signal from the giant squid. It felt serene like it was pleading for them to stop to prevent them from hurting someone they cared about, or perhaps it's telling them that not all humans are evil and that one saved its life, whatever the message Will could feel the warmth and kindness from it. It is then that they both disappeared and Will looks up to see the sky once more. It was then that he heard the captain arguing with someone. Letting himself in through the window Will O. Wisp lands on the floor. All of the sailors and captain staring at the strange cat man. "Why yes that is one of the legends of the Umibozu my dear captain, but others say that the Umibozu are creatures that naturally live in the sea, of course, that's the funny thing about legends they tend to be twisted over time. Indeed it seems that they were upset about the trash that filled their home, perhaps that's why they attacked those ships long ago due to sailors throwing the trash into the sea long ago, or maybe they are forces created by nature itself in retaliation. Whatever the reason it seems whoever helped that giant squid must've left quite an impression on it as whatever it said managed to convince them. Well, that and probably be getting rid of all of that trash for you all, you're welcome," Will O. Wisp said. Will then joins Bass and Melody for celebratory popsicles. "I suppose I should introduce myself, I am Will O. Wisp, a master of the Turtle School. I was flying on my nimbus trying to find that rumored giant shark heading towards Southern Island when suddenly day became night and those two rose up from the water. It's a good thing though that squid was able to convince them or else that Namekian might've killed one, and I hate to see how the other would've reacted if that happened. Still, though it gives this old cat solace that there are still powerful martial artists protecting the planet to this day. Who are your masters exactly may I ask?" Will said.

Looking over the scene in heavy breathes, Bass started to see the sky clear and the bad weather fade into obscurity after a climactic destruction of the heaped up garbage in the air. Looking lazily towards it the Namekian couldn't help but simply pinch his nose in frustration. It was an understatement to say that it was the last thing he'd try to do to resolve the situation. It wasn't his job to clean up the world's garbage, that would be left to other Earthlings and workers when he was in a position to cultivate that sort of activity. Yet it would be straight up lying to say he wasn't glad that was done with. In fact with the gradual fading of the creatures Bass simply lowered shrunk down a little in size as he allowed his form to return to it's normal still bulky but not very bulky size. With Melody on the ship and the cat flying over on the cloud he used to stay aloft, Bass figured he should follow along. Drifting over and then slowly landing onto the deck with a simple touch of one foot after the other, Bass spotted Will talking with the Captain when Melody called over from a folded out beach chair type thing. Looking over and giving a light wave, he called back. "Not really my preference of food, but I appreciate the offer." He'd say, moving over and grabbing hold of another one of the chairs next to her.
Sitting down and laying back he'd let out a sigh, pulling the straw hat out from around his waist to plop on his head, carefully sliding it over his antennae so it didn't crunch them down uncomfortably. Wringing out some of his still damp clothing- the beating sun doing hard work in evaporating the moisture still caught in the fibres the Namekian just tilted the straw hat downwards to keep the sun out of his eyes. While he watched Will chat with the Captain he'd speak towards Melody.
"Can't say this is something I expected to happen today. Also can't say I've seen anything quite like those. Closest I've dealt with was an invisible man back in the Southern Lands a few weeks ago. Where I got the Tree of Might, that tree I was talking about last time we met." He said, folding his arms across his torso while waiting for Will to regroup. Sure enough in little time the cat-like Beastman would begin making their way over to formally introduce himself. Listening, Bass went through multiple phases of confusion, slight surprise and finally a light grimace before he would begin to speak.
"You make it out to seem like I was the enemy here, I wasn't the one trying to capsize a ship populated with people too drunk to think straight. Not to mention in the middle of the day, must be some real high class degenerates to be drunk around this time." Glancing to the left towards Melody, he'd answer the proposed question first. "The simple answer is that I have and never will have a master. Your Turtle School was no doubt founded by a person that forged their own path as well, it is important to always innovate in any field, and so the ground that I walk will be untouched by other fighters. I seek to discover something new. So it'd be counterintuitive to start learning from an existing martial arts methodology." He said with a simple sidelong gesture of his hand.
With the conversation to him fading to a distant murmur, his eyes focused in on a screen located across the deck and inside the ships command bridge at the back-right upper corner. A small box with a flickering image that was broadcasting some sort of news report. Narrowing his eyes noticeably, the Namekian started to sit up and tilted his straw hat upwards as he took in what the report was about. What had caught his eyes was some of the testimonials and sketches of what the creature might've vaguely looked like- or potentially sketches made up to ride the panic wave to artistic fame, who knew. Needless to say it was more than enough to cause worry and to those susceptible, panic. Leaning back in the chair and lowering his straw hat, if either of them weren't looking in the same direction or couldn't see the subtitles given the distance, he'd clarify.
"Looks like we're about to get into something pretty serious. Doubt it's actually a giant shark, maybe some kind of mad scientists mobile base that he's using to wreak havoc as a test-run before going more global, but I know for sure I'll be keeping an eye on that. Especially because it could be coming at us as we speak, let's just hope none of them watch that, it'd probably be best that they not panic more than they already have today. Though if they do I figure we'll be getting a quick lift to shore. Though one thing I've been questioning looking at that.
No matter the size, how is a water bound creature a threat to a land bound city? Couldn't have legs... Could it?" Bass mused out loud, tilting his head to one side. Nonetheless after his brief consideration and short stay on the chair he stood back up to his full height and continued passively wringing out his clothing. Looking out over the side of the ship, using a hand to shield his eyes from the sun the Namekian scoured the waters for anything unusual. Spotted nothing out of the normal he turned back and said, "Looks like we're fine for now. I'm going to try and stick around the coastlines as much as possible for the next couple of days, if this thing is presumed to be a threat I'd rather deal with it now than let it send South Island society into chaos. If there's one thing I hate more than flying squirrels, it's chaos."

Melody already finished the first popsicle by the time everyone joined and started chewing on the stick for a minute before tossing it into a nearby waste bin behind her without looking. Bass explained his thoughts of what an untypical day it was and she chuckled with a mused expression; everyday at Truffle Village she had to teach something or someone a lesson to back off on her territory. The face off of ghostly giants and the pair of them was quite the task as well as keeping the ship safe. “I never knew such things existed, do you think what is already dead can ever die again? The world is such a mysterious place like that tree you mentioned among other things. It almost seems exciting and daunting at the same time.” Melody looked at Bass with her sunglasses still on for a moment until her sight followed the cat arrive. She was glad everything was taken care of along with the trash clean up which was an issue for the marine life getting trapped earlier. For the longest time, she adored animals, ever since childhood, but was never able to keep one as a pet since it would distract her from all of her sword training growing up. Even now she could not properly take care of one without stressing the creature out with all the traveling she had been doing; including the Giant Squid as crossing through the desert was impossible. Will was the cutest cat she had ever laid eyes on, he was small unlike the other anthropomorphic beast folk that were human in size, and she really wanted to hold him. Sitting up on the lounge chair she stared at Will, listening to every word, and without a second thought she was reaching out towards him with both of her hands very slowly moving an inch at every vowel he spoke. The desire to pet his fur was so overwhelming she felt knots in her stomach from anticipation and was visibly trembling from excitement. With a blush on her cheek, she just had to, no regrets for what it would entail, and picked him up effortlessly placing Will on her bare lap. Despite his fur being damp from falling into the ocean it was still silky and smooth. The best part of it all is that he was so warm and fuzzy that nothing in the world would be able to imitate the splendor she was feeling. Melody gently continued to pet the top of his head, with half closed eyes holding onto an enlivened expression on her face, and soon enough her affection for Will turned into a planted kiss right next to his triangular angled ear. At that moment her heart was beating so fast that she started to calm down just long enough to restore all of his expended ki energy by using her own reserves in the exchange. Will would feel suddenly revitalized of his ki along with being dry as he glowed for a second in the transfer. At that moment she was brought back to reality entirely embarrassed that she even dared to impose on his liberties like that; unknown to the fact that she had done anything to restore ki in a panic. KI TRANSFER You funnel your own ki into another person, rejuvenating them and lending them some of your power. Type: Utility Action: Bonus Action Effect: You spend 10 ki to restore 25 ki to an ally. Their base power level is also boosted by +25% of your current PL. The total boost cannot exceed more than 50% of their current PL. Cost: 10 ki. Limit: Can only use once per ally. “I…” Melody removed her sunglasses, she looked over to Bass for answers to help explain her mistake, and immediately looked down at Will on her lap, “Forgive me! I had no choice! You looked so soft…” She pouted as she deliberately put her guard down, along with any common sense, and slipped away in a panic, leaving the cat on the middle lounge chair, and scrambling to the next one. To make matters worst Bass seemed to be in a bad mood about the foolishness of the drunken passengers, he probably picked up some of the things they said despite the storm, and the reason they were being protected; which she totally was in agreement with him on. Their lives were spared with a grain of salt in the mouth because society needed to be changed from these travesties. Upon discovering that the namekian was self taught from training she found that undoubtedly inspiring, she barely had time in her hands to do the same, but it seemed every step she made forced her to get pushed to the limit; so she needed to seriously start training or be left behind. “It is not the first time someone has brought up martial arts school to me. What is so great about it? I was told I lacked martial arts etiquette. Who makes all the rules and why do people follow them like fools? I feel I did fine without martial arts school! Fight until the very end.”Melody nodded confidently but then lost it after she looked back at Will into his squint like eyes. “My name is Melody...nice to meet you...Will-san.” She said meekly, feeling out of place for the lack of tough attitude she always had on display, only to discover a weakness she possessed mentally that would get her into a lot of trouble. “My master? Perhaps Duke Glacier but I stopped being his trainee when I became Dutchess among the Pig Demon Duchies to proceed over Truffle Village in the Western Lands.”At this point she was beginning to realize that her humanity over seemingly innocent looking beings from animals to children has forced her to put her guard down. It would go against her own nature if she disregarded this fact and she needed to focus more than ever if she wanted to overcome this weakness. After a moment she turned to look over to what Bass had been looking at, a television screen about eye witness reports, and again sharks with legs. “Fish...with legs...that is ridiculous but after today anything else possible. I must remain here just a bit longer in order to see it with my own eyes. So you are off work for a couple of days Bass-kun?” Melody recovered by then to her usual self around Bass but not to Will, at least not yet. “The captain said we can take as long as we like, the passengers are being kept in lock down until further notice for their safety, and told me to inform you two about ordering anything you like from the wait staff! Getting presents is the best.”

"Don't get me wrong they needed to be stopped from doing killing these people, while I understand their motives for doing so I don't quite agree with their methods. And although even I am unsure if they could be killed if you did or even knocked it to submission the other would've called for more and we would be facing a whole army of those things. I say it's great that we managed to find an alternative way to stop the Umibozu. Let's just hope nothing like this ever happens again without anyone to stop them," Will says. Without warning, he was caught in Melody's lap and was showered with affection. Will knows of how cute he is, in fact, this isn't the first time a woman grabbed and pet him, so he is used to this of course. As she continued to pat his head he begins to purr as she did so. Then when she accidentally transferred her ki to him as he dried off his fur puffed up from the quick dry. Of course, the guards and staff watching these events unfold have been taking pictures and videos of it through their C-Phones. "It's alright ma'am, not the first time it has happened. When you look like this for one hundred years you get used to people embracing you. If you wanted to no harm in asking first, "Will said. It is then that Melody and Bass questioned the point of a martial arts school. "Well, it's more then just becoming stronger and learning how to shoot a giant beam of energy from your hands, even if it looks really cool while you're doing it, it's a philosophy that we follow and teach onto others. Teaching the art of peace and war to protect those that can't protect themselves. Move well, learn well, play well, rest well, eat well! That's the Turtle School mantra, and you don't forget it!" Will explained while giving a v for victory sign with one of his paws. Of course, Will has heard of the Pig Demon Duchies, after all, he lived in those lands for quite a while, and they help protect his father Korin. Perhaps he should tell this to Melody and see how she reacts, but perhaps now is not the best time since she just went through a stressful experience. Even if it would be very amusing to see her shock and awe. The time is now to relax as he begins to nibble on his popsicle, which he notes to be made out of sea salt ice cream. He then listened to Bass and Melody's reactions to the news feed. "Well since we just thought two giants from the deep this creature could be a species of shark that evolved other time or some kind of mutant. Give something enough time and room to grow and you'd be surprised how big someone or something to get. Although you're right on how if it was just a normal gigantic shark it wouldn't be able to harm the city, so we might be facing some kind of mutant so it having legs might not be an out-there guess. Mobile mad scientist lair theory is possible I'll give it that though, I've faced my fair share back in the day," Will said. It is then that Melody explained that they can order anything they want. "As long as it doesn't contain any dairy I'll have something I'm lactose intolerant," Will said. He then stopped to look at Bass and Melody who would probably give looks about this revelation. "Hey, cats liking milk is a common misconception! We only drink milk when we're kittens like other animals do if anything it's weird that people continue to drink milk after they are babies. Try almond milk instead, it's healthier and it tastes much nicer," Will said.

Turning back towards the two of them, the Namekian just gave a quiet gaze along with folded arms as thoughts muddled about in his head. Turning back around and looking out towards the open waters, he just took in a deep breath to relax. It'd been a while since he'd let himself get that agitated, but something not being taken out didn't mean it was just incredibly durable or not prone to damage from physical attacks, it meant he wasn't strong enough. Clenching both fists, the inferiority he felt made his brows twitch, just like that time in the GBD base. It would be the words the other two had to give that would pull him out of his own thoughts, and as they came to a close he'd address some of what they said and leave other bits to figuratively drift in the wind. " You're right, Earth is a fascinating place filled with oddities. Perhaps the most mundane part of this planet are the beings that live within it. That being said, things along the likes that we fought can be beaten in a show of power. Anything can be beaten in a show of power, and if it looks like they can't be, you're not powerful enough." His attention turned towards Will, " If it called for reinforcements, then ideally it'd just mean X many birds with one stone where X is the number of reinforcements and the stone is my fist. Though I begrudgingly recognize that I can't take on an army of those things, one while I could handle it, was still comparable. To take on an army you cannot be comparable to a single one of their soldiers. I want to be strong enough that I don't have to rely on amassing an army of my own." He said adamantly. His right antennae twitched at the same time the corresponding eye did, bobbing up and down and then swaying for a moment as he battled with his cruel self punishment for not being strong enough yet. He kept speaking regardless of the building irritation that his body language spoke of clearly. " The Turtle School, hm? I'd be lying if I said I hadn't heard of it, after all for the better part of the passed decade I've been learning how to fight in a higher capacity than I would've been able to on any day before the present. I've met a lot of people. Though that saying is common sense, it equates to no half measures. Put your all into everything you do, and only then will you reap the best rewards." Bass said, eyes turning downwards to stare down the deck of the ship, arms still folded while standing up. " You can't seem to get out two sentences without reminiscing about the past like you're just dying to spill the beans, so get it out of your system so you can recognize yourself in the present and escape delusions of grandeur." Bass stated with a heavy tone to his voice, his passively irritated state seeping into the words that he states. Though ultimately to him they were truth, he just couldn't be bothered to word it in a way that was more implication based as opposed to direct. " Though the bulk of what you were saying is about what this thing is, and frankly I don't care. All I care about is how powerful it is, when and where it will show up. If I can't take down a simple gigantic monster, then I'm worthless as it stands. I've come to the conclusion that I will never be satisfied with how strong I am in the present, and I think that's a double edged sword. I will never keep getting stronger, but I will never feel content or appreciative of the distance I've crossed." His mind drifted to an encounter with Kiryu, and he vocalized it as an example. " A kid- you're both fighters so you might've met him, Kiryu once told me that I had all the potential in the world over him. That I was born better with so much innate capability that he could never be as strong as me. Quite frankly that's bullshit. It's all about the drive you truly have, not the drive you tell yourself. How much do your goals mean to you, are you willing to just barely cross the finish line or would you rather find out you'd passed the finish line ten years before you had to, and you're still going? Especially when you consider the placement of that line- there's multiple of them, a mystery to you. Better to keep pushing and be surprised you've exceeded then realize you're not enough." He ended that particular rant, bringing a hand up to his temple to press down on it with his thumb, index finger and middle finger followed with a sigh. Taking a deep breath and stretching his back he'd wave over one of the people going about collecting food requests. As the human walked over Bass spoke. " I'll have ten quesadilla's stacked on top of each other, please." Surprise was an understatement when looking at the humans face, before they hurried off. Bass didn't seem to think about asking what the others wanted, he was incredibly agitated still, it'd seem. Turning back towards them he spoke, " So, lactose intolerant? What do you mean you only drink milk a- right. You're half cat yet you've associated with that side as opposed to sentient life. I'll stick with conventional sources of dairy. Alternatives are just for those too weak to handle the proper variants. Oh, right." His attention shifted over towards Melody. "I'll ask you directly, because I'm not in the mood to beat around the bush. You say money makes the world go round and is ultimately the answer to solving a lot of problems and therefore establishing full order. I'm offering you a position at the corporation Momentum Financial is about to become, a reformed corporation exploring all markets and opportunities, with ample room for training fighters. Before you say your home is Truffle Village, any corporation needs to expand, you could establish a branch in your village. I'd be giving you a position adequate to assist your needs to get rich fast. Yes or no? Or, if you want to do it this way, what conditions if you were to agree?"
